Mused Noise 005 features two original tracks by Daniel Chavez, a DJ & Producer born and raised in North Carolina where he discovered House music through artists like Kerri Chandler & Masters at Work.

He eventually moved to Chicago where he worked at the famous Gramaphone Records. “Return Jam” EP was written & produced in 2021 as the dance music scene was returning to full force after being dormant due to the COVID-19 lockdowns. A1’s Return Jam kicks off with ambient textures creating an open soundscape with dubby pads and a driving bass line to keep the dance floor moving. His track on the B side, “Number 3” follows a similar trend.



A2 features a Return Jam remix from Pressure Point, an Italian DJ & producer who started to spin records at the age of 14. Raised among House & Minimal, Pressure Point brings together the influence of these two genres very nicely with a stripped-back electronic approach.



On B2 we had Number 3 remixed by MOOR who is based out of Amsterdam, providing us a punchy dub techno track with wonderful bass automations after having releases on labels such as Get Physical, Berg Audio, & Bla Bla Records.

Tied is back with another vinyl only release. This time welcoming friends from across the globe. Enzo Leep delivers the A1 - "Interplanetary Voyager" - a pumping hypnotic track that will keep you traveling through space and time as well as rocking any big room or festival. A2) is a bomb delivered from Jacobo Saavedra titled "Dawner '' with a deep bouncy bassline and sensual vocals. On B1) Tied residents Ciphr team up with Snad again to deliver the mental groover "Rainbow Chip." To round out the EP with A2) Christian Thomas provides a deep and smooth heater with "Local Motive."

Going beyond materialism and old-fashioned cliche, Amsterdam's very own Boris Werner returns to Vatos Locos right after his remix for David Gtronic earlier last year with "New World Order" EP. This time, Boris brings his signature twisted sounds to a whole new level, starting the package with the mighty dancefloor rampant anthem "Fast Forward" while keeping things tighter and stripped back on "Rave Date". B-side means deeper affairs. "Party It's Like Your Studio" brings back some dusty and breakbeat old-school feels, while "Todo El Mundo" moves along with echoing dubby notes and crystal clear textures for the perfect afterhours tool.

Nuiton is back on Exit and has come along with three timeless pieces riding through constantly building rooms of merciless sounds. In - Out Of Prism', he maintains the mystery surrounding his character, and manifesting his place as a chameleon of today's electronic music scene.

After another long hiatus, BEAM is excited to present the vinyl debut from rising star and nebulous neurocranker, al dente. Over 4 tracks, ‘Running and Falling Over’ captures the stylistic fluidity we have come to know and love from Naarm/Melbourne. Ever present traces of Dozzy refract through millennium-bug tech-house, summoning atmospheres of deep yet ever playful psychedelia. Opening the A-side on ‘Ripple Effect’, pulsating drones and echoes of organic percussion slither through the undergrowth. ‘Soft Steps’ explores fractal resonance amid expansive, evolving textures. Flipping to the B-side, ‘Unfold’ melds paranoiac psy with a wiggly tek swagger. Slow-burner ‘Blue Trial’ closes out the EP – a proggy roller for the eternal sunrise.

“Every time I play Cour T.’s “Black Magic” the room changes. The entire vibe of the party goes from hands in the air to grinding, sexual energy. This track has arcane properties on the dance floor. I wish I had 10 tracks with this vibe because nothing else sounds like it and when I play it, I always wish I could keep the vibe for longer.

Stólar label boss Philipp Priebe delivers the inaugural long
player on his own imprint this December, entitled
‘Movements In An Empty Department Store’ and comprising
eight original compositions from the German artist. This LP
is about a kid’s dream - one night alone in an empty
department store. A dream come true for lots of children and
adults, as it gives you the opportunity to do what you want,
try everything without the side eye of employees, snack
through the entire food and sweets section and have a night
off without thinking about consequences. This can become
great, a nightmare or a feverish dream these eight tracks are
your soundtrack to this adventure. Throughout the
‘Movements In An Empty Department Store’ album, Priebe
further showcases his ability to craft, raw, cinematic and
often mystical deep house music that acts as a cosseting
sonic blanket for the listener throughout. From the swelling
bass lines, dubby echoes and ethereal textures found in
tracks like ‘Marble’, ‘Porcelain’, ‘Drenched In Dust’ and ‘Fever
Dreams’, through to more rugged percussion driven dance
oor tools like title-cut ‘Movements In An Empty Department
Store’, ‘Cedar’ and ‘Clouds Floating In A Haze Of Light’ or the
pensive, haunting closer ‘On The Way Out’, Philipp Priebe
once again proves himself as a remarkable composer with a
striking ear for detail and depth.

Following on from 2018’s Echo Principle LP, the Pleasure System full length sees Steve Hyland return to the crisp drum programming and colorful IDM soundscapes that dominated his debut on the FILM label. A veteran of music production back in the driving seat after a long hiatus, Hyland’s approach on this latest offering draws on the isolation of modern life for inspiration. Pleasure System sees the British artist ruminating on his place in the world, and the mournful synth flourishes and washed-out drums, paired with more hopeful moments of electronic abstraction communicate a delicate yin and yang, constantly working against one another to find balance.
