Many years in the game with his own uber-respected labels Moto Music and deepArtSounds, in demand as an artist under his many guises (Allstarr Motomusic/George Btp) and collaborative projects (The WineLambs, Zarenzeit and Theory Of Movement, which he shares with deep house don Grant aka Anthony Collins), Piu may be old school but his recent renaissance has turned many heads including ours. His analogue alchemy is right up our strasse so we are beyond thrilled to be able to present the Zurich-based producer’s Technological Singularity EP here at Hizou.

From the celestial groove-heavy Quantum Computing to the angular electronica of Robots In Rage and from the melodic techfunk of A Machine Will Never Do X to the soul-warming F#uk The World To The Core, aficionados, followers and fanboys will not be disappointed.

A never-ending groove and perfectly programmed synth stabs are coming out hot from Stephan Bazbaz & Assael Weiss who happen to be in the rooster of Audionik’s latest instalment.

The label’s third release strays away from conventionalisms the A-side includes a hypnotic yet groovy remix from mastermind Franco Cinelli. Perfectly low ends and a poly-rhythmic groove make this a unique piece of music The B-Side comes from the hands of Priku. The remix is borderline minimalistic, freaky elements and glitchy effects pair with convoluted reverb sounds that come and go entering new grounds in texture and sound. Four months after his first EP, Generation Next is back with his second single release. You may know him as Lil Strick from the track 'Childs Play' on Big Stricks debut album 'Detroit Heat' on his own label, 7 Days Ent. Generation Next also made four tracks (Sequence 11, Windsor Nights, Slow Ride, and Metro) on Big Stricks Resivoir Dogs album. After his first self titled EP, Generation Next has gotten nothing but positive feedback. Next's new EP is titled 'Medication', which features 3 tracks that are inspired by the streets of Detroit City. Sum Light is the first track off of the 'Medication' EP and starts us off with an exuberant acid bass line followed by a truly original 808 drum pattern. His next track, Generic Current, is a smooth flowing, simple house track. The bass plays, the drums knock, and that claps excite. The last track, Acid Alcohol, is slated to be a classic acid track. Just listen to it and you'll see why.

German label Bondage Music delivers the eighth instalment of its ‘Bondage Games’ series. Another vinyl only release, this time with four fresh tracks from Nima Gorji, James Dexter, Irv.in and Sous Sol.

Vid joins the Purple Print roster offering his signature dark minimal sound

Fresh off the back of his superb new album, Voigtmann is back with an equally juicy new 12" on Half Baked, a party crew with which he has a long association. His intricate minimal style is laid bare here from the off with 'Aesthetic Solutions' offering up a colourful mix of trippy sound designs and sci-fi moods over slick tech drum programming. 'California Cruise Control' gets deeper, with a more prominent squelchy bassline taking centre stage. 'Underexposure' then ups the ante with a more cosmic and driving techno sound and last of all is 'Areola 51', another one built from silky loops and futuristic synths over crisp tech house beats.

Polycarp boss Simon Ferdinand delivers the cinematic electronica ‘Six Months’ EP in 2024, recorded across this time period and influenced by travels to Sicily, Baltimore and Zanzibar.

Hamburg, Germany’s Polycarp is the brainchild of Simon Ferdinand and has been active as a platform for the music of Simon under his own name, Basch and their music together as Bonn, as well as further notable artists such as Tilman and Johannes Albert. Here, Ferdinand returns to the imprint with another solo sonic adventure, traversing through a range of emotions and influences with elements of glitch, ambient, electro, breaks, EBM and more instilled within the project.

‘Broken’ leads the release and sets the tone through an amalgamation of hazy, glitched out jazz loops obscured and processed throughout. Title-track ‘Six Months’ then shifts towards a more ethereal deep house aesthetic with cossetting textures, stuttering synth
chords, elongated bass drones and jazzy organic drums. ‘In The Lab’ follows next and sees Basch join forces with Simon to create a haunting slice of broken beat deepness fuelled by murky low-end pulsations, saturated drums and gritty stab sequences.
First up on the flip-side is ‘The Beginning’, shifting gears towards classic electro tropes with boomy 808’s, unfurling arpeggios and twitchy resonant synth bleeps before ‘Santa Maria’ rounds out the release with a contemporary electronica feel, fusing fluttering square wave bass lines, crisp amen breaks and intricately intertwined textural elements.

You know the score by now, a ridiculously weighty minimal house beat married with a head turner of a vocal sample to get those lockdown minds melting. That combo has been nailed once again, with another melting pot of sub bass goodness and a classic vocal you never thought you’d hear in this way.

Romanian DJ/producer Cosmin TRG inaugurates Haruka’s Protection label with four original works of black hole electronic psychedelia and ectoplasmic techno. Kickless shapeshifting textures of an unknown era, Protection 1 is fit for both home listening and club manipulation. A1’s entrancing dream synthesis marvels beyond the final frontier, hastily disrupted by A2’s future-pagan paranoia. The hypnotic tension of B1 arrives like a chopper from the Apocalypse Now opening sequence, descending into madness with its durational force. B2 restores the depleted energy with a healing sound bath - a powerful
unity of the ancient world and the astral realm. PROTECTION RECORDS BIO Protection is the new label from Japanese techno scene mainstay and Future Terror organizer Haruka. Echoing his DJ
style and a predilection for more deeper, psychedelic trains of techno, Protection focuses on experimental electronic music - energised subtlety that rides the axis of living room listening and club tools primed for heavy EQing. A sanctuary for music he loves, Haruka pulls from his international orbit with the first release from Cosmin TRG, housed in sleeve design by revered Japanese blackwork and neo-tribal tattooist Taku Oshima.

Another journey from the Aztec land: record label Gliese is excited to launch their second vinyl project, full of great talent from around the world.


Running EP is a collaboration between Canadian artist Devv and Romanian duo Soundopamine. Devv, who has plenty of amazing productions already in his career, alongside Soundopamine, who have been taking the European scene by storm with their impressive hybrid live act, deliver us an almost perfect blend of their individual sounds and inspirations with this special release.


To complete the release we have two stellar remixes. The first by Alex Ranerro, who has been making waves for years in the minimal scene and is well known for his slick productions. And last but not least, one of our favourite artists who needs no introduction, Janeret adds his deep, infectious groove to an already dreamy track.
