The fast rising FUTURA imprint from Leon, releases its new release from Mexican DJ Producer Mike.D with stellar remixes from Len Lewis and Do Or Die to complete the package .



Salomon Records founder Mike.D hails from Juarez Chihuahua, and is considered one of the new generation talents of DJs and producers from northern Mexico. His music selection and mixing abilities have given him the opportunity to play at the legendary Mexican venue Hardpop for many years. As a producer he’s released on labels like Kanja Records, Kina Music, The Lab, Dream Culture and more which has cemented his place in the scene. His music is regularly supported and played by the likes of Arapu, Sepp, Cosmjn, Maher Daniel, Mihai Pol, Sublee, YokoO and more.


For his debut release on Futura, he drops 2 originals the first of which is the title track ‘Mente Trascendente’. An edgy minimal deep tech house track with a grooving electronic bassline, deep atmospheric pads, classy beat pattern all combining to create an elegant 8 minute journey. The second on the package is Len Lewis’s remix of ‘Mente Trascendente’. Len Lewis released his first track back in ‘93 on Jumpin & Pumpin, which then led to records on the likes of the legendary Swag. Lewis’ designated name for his sound is, SiTH, Sinister Tech House, claiming its mysterious name after a Mixmag reviewer used this description for his music many years ago. His remix fits this name perfectly, powerful low bassline drives the track effortlessly, and smooth breakdown combining with eerie incidentals and pads, treated vocal cuts providing the signature hook for the track. This is a remix that’s perfect for the heads in the scene.



Next up we have ‘Sendero Interno’. The original mix is a pure minimal work out right from the outset. The stripped back and delicate beats use popping sounds for filling the frequencies, and work perfectly against the backdrop of the brooding pads and synths make this an classy introspective underground track, which is everything the Futura label is about. To round things off we have the final remix which comes from My Own Jupiter DJ Producer, Do Or Die. Well known for producer techno and electro the fast rising producer, delivers an acid house sci-fi esq work out on this remix with punching beats cutting through the mix, whilst retaining the brooding synths and samples from the original and adding in some special vocal cuts to keep this remix unique and perfect for the floor.

In partnership with the Accidental Jnr corporation, Gerry hopes that this campaign will not just raise awareness but will actively work to prevent these alarming new practices. We urge you to take notice and to assist us by making sure that your peers, foes and family alike listen closely to this important movement. Relevant recordings have been produced and are available now via both 12' vinyl and digital mediums.

A1 - ´Going In Hard´ is a peak time, groggy bomb with bit of something for everyone! The track welcomes a whole host of synth lines and keeps on lifting throughout its 6+ main duration.

A2 - Snatch - Josh welcomes a hypnotising bassline for his second track on the EP as he showcases a more dubbed out, simplistic side.

B1 - Truth Expression comes with a static but driving bassline throughout the whole song and a lead sound that takes you on a path through different moods and themes. Accompanied with professor like vocals and the occasional old skool rave sounds his rounds up for a high energy track for peaks sets.

B2 - Kilobyte Cafe takes a different direction after an intro full of suspense. The bassline makes up the track's main theme and gets complemented by a similar but stripped back sequenced lead sound resulting in a quirky track full of fluffy drums, trance arpeggiators and playful organs.

Adrianho is signing our 3rd Ep to date, and with this he takes the audience on a beautiful journey with 3 stunning tracks featuring a dancefloor banger remix from his fellow romanian Vern.

The next edition of our Raw format features our Parisian-based, Moroccan-born friends Simo & Alich. Known for their deep minimal productions with an edge of the unknown, the two embark on a journey with this Reggae inspired “Iz No Good”. A deep warmth and positivity evolves and grows throughout the composition. “An Da Le” introduces some passionate latin riffs while “Wis Pe Ra” equally morphs the EP together and lets you glide into dark and gloomy textures that represent the firm underground of Paris in its essence balancing light and darkness. To top it all off, the producer Crihan has remixed the title track of the EP to give it the typical Romanian depth and psychedelic soundscapes we have come to love and respect so much.

For its eighth release Cedesciu Wax brings us Russian native Balinsky!

Fifth release with dusty jams from the Swedish label run by Per Hammar. Edvin Wikner’s ”Skritt” comes as an original, together with remixes from fellow Scandinavian S.A.M., Rowlanz and Per Hammar himself.

The original has been a frequently dropped club weapon among Per Hammar and his friends for a while before he decided to snatch the track to Dirty Hands before someone would reach for it.

Wikner is a Swedish artist who runs the Instance club and Maraton label, a talent that has a refined sound and slick technique that leads to some absorbing rhythms and classy house grooves, as this new one proves.

The opener track is a bubbling deep house groove with deft percussion sprinkled over a warped bassline that keeps on pulling you in. It is mind melting and hypnotic, sure to build a real vibe amongst a club setting. The Rowlanz remix smooths it out into something dreamy and atmospheric, with gorgeous sci-fi pads drifting about in the distance, sinking you into a reverie.

The Dirty Hands founder, Per Hammar, then comes correct with a remix which gets busier and more driving, with supple drums and wavy bass all working you into a tasteful minimal lather, a direction we are familiar with from fellow Swedish man. Last of all, S.A.M. gets freaky with a trippy after-hours vision that is dubbed out deep techno with haunting vocal whispers and subtle sound designs that all occupy your mind. A well rounded and killer EP, with a variety of producers showing their cards.

Kapture returns with their second installment, an intriguing 4-tracker EP from upcoming duo Haokah, that also includes an impressive remix from Arapu.

Delivering all the ingredients for an immersive and versatile journey, including heavy bass lines, elusive vocals and uplifting percussion that will make your heart bounce all around, while also telling a proper

The Italian DJ and producer delivers three club missiles within which sonic atmospheres and enchanted twisted synths are free to take the skies above heady grooves and bulbous basslines. The label also welcomes Berlin-based Lorenzo Chiabotti who enrich "Cosmic Echoes" with some modular magic and a pinch of pure Italian flavor.
