Coming in fast with release number 5, Liverpool based Aerofunk makes his debut on Subee with 4 cuts of straight fire. The Intergalactic Friends EP is filled with astronomical groove and packs more punch than a unidentified object leaving the atmosphere - tracks A1 & B2 are high on the G force scale and sure to get any dance floor flying whereas A2 & B1 take the pace down just enough to show Aerofunk's soulful side at cruising altitude.

This time the release of the underground series will be special. The music for this split EP was written by two artists - Shyam, founder and owner of Simple Things Records and Quazee, a talented musician and part of Simple Things Family. Their tracks have been already released on the label, both on vinyl and in the digital version. The music for Totem EP is very “volumetric”. Atmospheric in its depth, even with some notes of hardness.

In this case we encounter ourselves with a 3 tracker ep, where eclectic and electric sounds meet glitchy and funnny moods.
Original mix is in charge of two emerging talents such us Balbo (Ch) & Cazaux (Ar) where complex synths and rhytmic modulations are at the order of the day.
Two remixes fills this release, with more minimal outputs from the talented Alan Castro and Federico Molinari, two guys that does not need further introduction.

Title track “Green Carrot” delivers nifty percussion arrangements while gloomy pads and synths are working together to glue all the elements into one piece.

A2 track “Different Spaces” gives you robust kick drums and an acid themed bassline. Obscure vocals and shiny leitmotifs are conducting the percussive elements along 6 minutes of dance-driven groove.

The B side starts with Abstracted Possibilites, a smart construction filled with twisted synths and intriguing vocals. The snares and hi-hats are making the omnipresent narrator throughout 7 minutes of pure storytelling.

Omega Break, as the title suggests, concludes the release by entering the breakbeat realm. Its percussions and pads bring instant joy.

DGTL Records - the official label arm of Dutch festival giant DGTL - marks its fifth anniversary in style with brand new album ‘5YRS of DGTL Records’. The 14-track long player is released on April 29th as a 4x 12” vinyl set and drops digitally across 4 separate EP releases between February 18 and April 1.

5YRS of DGTL Records is a perfect reflection of not just of the label itself but also its global event patron: headliners sitting equally alongside local talent and up-and-coming acts.. Holding a great variety of forward-thinking house and techno, the label stays true to the same formula of the festival shows. Over the past five years, DGTL Records has grown into its own as a fully-fledged musical arm of the overall DGTL musical experience, introducing new sounds and acts to an international audience.

For promising Dutch DJ/producers Coloray, Tjade, Nicky Elisabeth and Lucky Done Gone, this will be their first release on DGTL Records, while the likes of Deniro and JP Enfant are already familiar names to label fans, having previously released EPs on the label. All are linked to promising rising international talent such as Jimi Jules, Kino Todo and Terr and to DGTL 'veterans' such as Adriatique, Dax J, Roman Flugel and Frank Wiedemann & Trikk, who have been part of the DGTL family for years.

Once the digital EPs are fully released, '5YRS of DGTL Records' will be available as a very special commemorative 4x12" vinyl release. Presented in a tri-fold cover, the LP will feature artwork by Eric Smilde, who has incorporated the distinctive elements of DGTL festival at the NDSM Docklands into a 3D design. Known for its sustainable ambitions, DGTL continues along that path with this vinyl release, choosing to work with Deepgrooves, the world’s greenest vinyl pressing plant thanks to their innovative and leading working method. The vinyl will be ready on the weekend of DGTL AMS 2022 at the NDSM Docklands and will be available there for the first time.

Born in the US but now very much a resident of Berlin, Julie Marghilano is a trained violinist whose otherworldly take on house and techno never fail to impress. The owner of the Sol Asylum label, Julie tends to adhere to a quality-over-quantity approach to production, only perking up every now and then but ensuring when she does so that’s it’s worth the wait. And such is the case with her latest, the brilliant sounds of ‘Time In Space’. Marghilano’s first return to her label since last year’s exceptional ‘Mercury Jasmine’, ‘Time in Space’ is vintage Marghilano: high on atmospherics and imbued with subtleties from the get-go, this is well-honed music of the sort the obsessive audiophiles in particular are sure to devour.
 
We kick off with the sounds of the title track. A humid, sticky, afterparty-focused gem, it boasts a Perlon-esque sensibility that sees it merge the colourful and the unusual. A dizzying, hypnotic cut that’s both unpredictable and highly enjoyable, it gets us off off to a flying start here. ‘Eclipse’ follows a more stringent techno path, although it too is another track that maintains its own singular vibe. A bumping, groove-heavy cut that’s characterised by its weighty vibes and dramatic overtones, it’s exactly the sort of track that will sound just right during the night’s more tripped-out hours.
 
The B side gets underway courtesy of ‘Planet Minor’, a stifling cut that’s designed to leave listeners in a haze. The sort of tough-to-pigeonhole track with which the producer is best known for, it sticks out from the crowd thanks to a firmn refusal to stand still and a willingness to try something different. The record then closes out soon after with ’Said and Done’, an emotive, introspective deep house cut that showcases Marghilano’s many influences. Haunting but beautiful, it’s drenched in positive vibes and is a joy to behold throughout the course of its almost six minutes.

Minimal house supergroup Mandar have been on a roll since they launched Oscillat back in 2014, but this release ranks among their highlights to date. The dream team of Lazare Hoche, Malin Genie and S.A.M originally released "Poisoned Words" as the B side to their String Theory 12" in May 2018, and now they revisit the track with a double dose of remixes from none other than Ricardo Villalobos. The minimal overlord lives up to expectations on both flips of the original track, finding a singular voice within the context of minimal techno, needling into the tiniest sonic details and holding down an insistent groove that will sit beautifully in the mix. The A side features a simmering version that revels in wriggling sound design with ample space to flex and mutate, while the B side stretches out into a quintessential Villalobos wormhole of a remix. Unmissable sonics from one of the scene's true legends.

Having impressed with his 2019 debut album on Negentropy, the breaks/tech-house/minimal techno fusion of Rhythm Tension, Zweizig has been given a chance to showcase his wares on Constant Sound's popular Constant Black offshoot. The headline attraction is undoubtedly opener 'Manipulate Our Reflections', a spaced-out chunk of hypnotic late-night science that wraps wonky, Villalobos style electronic noises and pulsing pads around a locked in (but also surprisingly swinging) tech-house groove. Relic provides a chunkier and groovier remix that boasts darker noises and a more beefed-up sound, while bonus cut 'Vvoid' is a twisted, undulating acid-jacker.

Room 15's sub label, MM Series brings you broken beats on its debut release. The tracks have already gained strong support from artists like Kozo, Guy From Downstairs, Nu Zau, Cosmjn, Chad Andrew, Clovis, Prichindel, Viceversa, Miroloja & many others..

All 4 tracks on AZMyellow have been slashing dancefloors all over the world via Azimute and few select friends for a while. Mammamia delivers Azimutes trademark minimalistic Techno sound with slick Reverberated snares and a relentless bassline to boot. On A2. Blizz' is beautiful piece of rolling Dub Techno with sultry strings that wash over the track and makes it complete. Meanwile on the flip side track B1. entitled Egonot is a stripped , Sci-Fi affair with a skipping drum groove & atmospherics running alongside pulsating synths flourishes and hypnotic vocal murmurs. Finally on B2.Amoreux is focused on a more melodic sound, expansive strings and pads are layered alongside an infectious metallic drum groove. If you love it underground and dub, this one's for you.

Constant Sound co-owner James 'Burnski' Burnham delivers a stonking pair of garage-flecked house tracks that offer up no nonsense dancefloor attitude in spades. 'Shout' is all about its monster rhythmic framework, with economic splashes of synths on the side simply maintaining the flavour and a properly full on old skool breakdown. Flip track 'Remember' leans a little further towards UK garage with its sugar sweet female vocal snippets, but the central groove hustles and bustles along with maximum weightiness, making it suitable for any number of differing dancefloors.

Deep Club resident dj and head strobe controller Lone Dancer marks our label's 4th entry with his first solo 12" on vinyl - a fitting dance-centric conglomeration of Lone Dancer's unique style of jacking techno, broken beats, and spaced out tracks that has set him apart in 2017.

Orizont is the new vinyl imprint from the Romanian DJ Tiberiu, culminating several years of touring and crossing paths with like-minded artists. Orizont 01 gathers four tracks from his friends Kirik, Yuda, Cojoc, and Zgaav, passionate artists keen on the reduced aesthetics of dance music.
