After his very well received EP on Freerange earlier this year, label boss APOENA brings back Allnite Music with a different approach and delivers high class old school dubness.

Byron C. is one of the aliases used by the “Flakes and Teeves”
duo, who produced three EPS between 1996 and 1999 on the label «Obsession Music» from Marseille. Today, they got back together to create the “FLABBER.CLUB” label, which reissues their music.

This is Byron C. «How To Operate?» the Flakes and Teeves duo’s second EP, produced in 1500 copies in 1997. These now change hands for a king’s ransom on the second-hand vinyl record platforms.

Certainly because the four deep dub techno titles on this EP are timeless, charged with emotion and spontaneousness. Compiled at the time by Mickael Mayer on Neuhaus, it's still played by the new generation of DJs such as Nastia or a:rpia:r on this version, remastered at Translab, the basses are more rounded, the trebles crisper and the melodies more audible.

This reissue have been pressed at 150g! We have also added a
superb cover to back the sound with an image, together with a
free digital version!

Brixton electronic label Dream Diary announces the arrival of Abstract Chemistry EP by veteran UK producer and DJ Aubrey. The release marks the seventh in the label’s catalogue.

When Dream Diary were scouting talent for the label’s next round of releases, the name Aubrey came up with enthusiasm. The team met Aubrey in Berlin over a long weekend, inviting him to record his next release for the London label. The only stipulation in the arrangement required that the EP follow the Dream Diary tradition of being written and recorded at Octagon, the label’s home base and recording studio in Brixton.

Aubrey took up the offer and camped out at Octagon for a week in the fall, crafting a house and techno trifecta sprinkled with the studio’s choice collection of analog equipment. On Abstract Chemistry, Aubrey plays into his signature fusion of vigorous grooves and textured sound design, fitting perfectly into Dream Diary’s discography of spirited electronic music.

Active in the UK techno scene since the early 1990s, Aubrey’s prolific output spans nearly a hundred releases over a nearly 30 year career. His third full length album Gravitational Lensing was released earlier this year on Out Electronics Recordings, following recent releases on Assemble Music, Barba Records, Metroplex and Curle Recordings.

Kooky Music, the Polish label based in the city of Wroclaw, proudly presents its second release, this time by Floog, the already established DJ, producer and 1/3 of a successful live-act project Premiesku.

What is characteristic for the Romanian artist is an eclectic style and an ability to juggle with different kinds of genres, always as if without any effort. This approach will also mark all 4 tracks that Floog serves on this EP. Techy rhythm patterns and trippy atmosphere meet here the beloved melodic aspects of romiminal, with an air of micro-house and its love for details.

Dream Diary, the Brixton-based electronic label, is pleased to announce the release of ​Horizyn​ by recording artist and producer Ruven. Recorded during a weeklong lockout at the label’s newly minted Octagon studio, ​Horizyn​ is a three-track “space overture” inspired by science fiction, Afro-futurist comics, and Eastern spiritual practice.

Despite arriving from New York with a suite of demos prepped for production, Parker’s creative flow was piqued by his first visit to London and he started from scratch. Swerving from the minimal techno of his first Dream Diary release ​Pour​, he wanted this follow-up to have a greater focus on musicality, composition, and theme. With the studio lights dimmed and a projection of ​Blue Planet ​on repeat, he spent a week deconstructing and molding guitar loops, analog synth patches, vocal melodies, and field recordings into vignettes of the future.

Brian Parker was born in Hampton, Virginia, and spent his formative years studying percussion, guitar, and voice while absorbing the visionary sounds of local legends like The Neptunes, Timbaland, and Missy Elliot. While living in New York, his eponymous electronic pop project landed him in songwriting sessions with Sony Music/Epic Records, and he began producing electronic music under the Ruven alias as a contrast to his more accessible work. His forthcoming projects bridge the gap between these domains and incorporate hip-hop, R&B, and soul influences.

Australian label Pocketmoth are back with a new imprint,
‘POCKET’, a V/A series centred on local producers from the
label’s home city, Brisbane Meanjin. For the rst edition, label
heads Quincy Raw and Iti are joined by close friends and
collaborators George and Squidgenini. A diverse yet cohesive
curation of tracks, POCKET 1 is designed to live in the DJ’s

Canadian based Pheek and LA-based Kike Mayor collaborate to deliver two original tracks that take you to different realms of the electronic music spectrum.

A1. "No Chance" demonstrates an evocative mood; a hypnotizing pad that evolves and vocals that compliment a stirring, minimal groove.

A2. "11" is backed up with a funky persistent bounce, quirky percussion hits, and a subtle yet catchy melody that keeps your ears hooked.

The originals are remixed by french producer DoubtingThomas adding his "Dub Side of the Mood" interpretation, and Berlin-based Chad Andrew and Just_Me with their retrospective take of "11".

Blurry as the night and bright as the stars Mäteriet joins the fray by levitating into the system. They open their gem-covered robe and reveal all the treasure collected throughout their many journeys.

The Hon (A1) sets the mood just right alluring us into an almost hypnotized mindset. Moniker (A2) extends the grip Mäteriet has taken around us further over a rumbling bass fit for the system we traverse.

Rolling Thud (B1) gives off an almost machine-like air around it, hissing and blowing off excess steam while moving seamlessly between syncopated rhythms.
