Rube Goldberg Series has summoned together an outfit of competent creators for its fourth excursion. Each artist has coordinated their contraptions in an elegant and precise manner, to produce interesting results. So stimulate your senses and take a sip of this rich blend.

Four sides of frisky, twitchy tech-orientated grooves, spacious enough to be pliable, desirable DJ tools in the mix but embellished with enough melodic frills and spills to work under their own steam. 'What Are We Going To Do?' kicks off proceedings, with a rhythm that owes a bit to the skippy US garage energy pf Todd Edwards or Roy Davis Jr, stripped back but with a slinky bassline and mysterious mutterings voices adding additional atmosphere. 'Free' operates under similarly slanted syncopation template but counters it with echoing dub effects. 'Want It' and 'Colour' populate sides three and four, a little more low key but still steady, solid club tracks that should warm up your public nicely. Constant entertainment.

On the inaugural release of Västkransen Variations, Salary Boy and Ari Bald team up to explore four shades of house. While both these Stockholm producers have been hailed for their tasty sample-based dance tracks, they now reveal a deeper side of themselves.
On the A-side, Salary Boy gives us “Newland Court”, whose bassline and jazzy soundscapes might bring a certain Larry Heard to mind. However, the production is a timeless piece of house beauty. On his remix, Ari Bald infuses the track with punchy breakbeats and wild arpeggios. On the AA-side, Ari continues with “Daytrippin’”, a retro-futuristic saga which plays out in a dreamlike, almost druggy, haze. Salary Boy then closes the record with his own interpretation of the track, stripping it down it into a powerful four-on-the-floor spinner.

No-one never quite knows which side of the deep / minimal house divide the latest on Constant Black is going to fall. The one thing you can be sure of, however, is that both sets of fans will find plenty to love in this sweaty, trippy, stealthy cauldron of house beats. We're offered four slices of the Sota sound, and they're quite the quality set, the wonderful 'Lafayette' bringing the jacking glory days of Ferox to mind, while 'At Least 10 Words' has a tactile feel to it that puts it up there with the raw tech of Transmat or other early Detroit. Simply reeks of quality.

For the third vinyl-only release, we are more than happy to host Kooky music's head honcho, Gogan. This time on the EP you'll find 4 tracks filled with loads of deep basselines and catchy grooves, dark touch and the overwhelming air of glitchy atmosphere. All the elements that are so characteristic for the Polish producer are still there, but there is also progress, the significant mark of development and challenge. Gogan is on a mission to search for his unique style and he is searching for it in an intelligent way. Yet, he never loses the dancefloor factor from his radar, all of the tracks are tailored to be played in clubs and to make people move. The rhythm patterns create a certain discipline, but clever melodies bring comfort to a listener, Such a powerful mixture should be enough to improve the atmosphere of many clubs all over the world.

Paolo’s pumping it again! This summer the Squeeze The Lemon producer, and Outcast affiliate finds himself on LowMoneyMusicLove with his “Digital Deceivers” EP. Four dance floor dynamic beats with a bouncing spring in their step, all of them boasting tight and punchy arrangements, allowing you to cruise on the elastic melodies and grooves we have all come to adore from the young talent. Don’t be deceived, this one is ready to ignite the flight!

For the jubilee of the 10th release on Questo, labelhead Francesco Ballato brings together some friends of the close environment for a „Various Artist“ compilation on vinyl and digtal. Mandibula, Stoga, Senoo and Bee Lincoln in collaboration with Francesco represent diverse aspects and musical components. which unite groove, melody and danceabilty for maximum enjoyment.

Side A1 features a cooperation of long-term groove brothers Francesco Ballato and Bee Lincoln. „Daddys Choice“ was born in a jam session and re-edited to serve a full bass load on a summerlicious track. Smart percussion pattern give a nice fluff as a compensation to slant and humorous synth sounds, embedded on positive sphere vibes.

Senoo, who already released on labels like Tzinah Rec., Baile Musik or Whoyostro, comes up with the title „Baby loves Sour Diesel“. An incredibly groovin’ tightness pairs with a deep flowin’ sphere and makes this track super-functional on the floor.

Flip the side and here we go with Stoga, who is in charge for the latest release on Questo. „Arrived“ is a warm-shakin’ and well-tempered tune with a theme-like melodic synth. Ready for open airs.

Freiburg-based Heimatliebe artist Mandibula takes over the warmth and adds a slightly driving rhythm in „Feeling Frenzy“. Known for his affinity in sound aesthetics of generating moods with synth-based elements, he does what he can do the best: an extraordinarily intense and mind-blowing tune for the clubs.
