It works in clubs. it works at after hours. Also, small bars vibrate meaningful on it: the music of Kuniyuki Takahashi enthralls everywhere and is made for heedful listeners, that love the thrill of little musical nuances, shifting in a deeply composed ocean of sound.

In terms of composition, melodic sensitivity, and subtle progression the music of japanese producer, Sound designer and dj stands out. Ambient, Future-Jazz, Deep House, Leftfield Elec-tronics: since more then 25 years the man from Sapporo expresses his emotions with a wide stylistic range.

As Kuniyuki or under pseudonyms like Koss or Newwave project, he released a body of work consisting of numerous albums and EP’s, that display his deep musical consciousness pro-foundly. Now his home label Mule Musiq drops “Remix Works “, an eighth tune strong compila-tion featuring for the second time since 2013 Kuniyuki Takahashi’s very own virtuosity of re-mixing.

A double vinyl that carries the full pallet of his skills – from yacht rock leaning synth-pop and balearic dreams to sweet wave signals and soulful Pop House.

It all starts with Kuniyuki’s Remix of “Plateau”, a tune by japanese Nu-Jazz / Post‐Rock band mouse on the keys, released in 2013 on the short living japanese retalk label. An epic, almost ten-minute-long house voyage, full of discreet acid shades and enlightening Jazz chords, that play spirited tricks on each other’s manic musical preaching.

A Mountain Of One flex out and expand ever onward on the already vast intergalactic, and what seems to be a limitless and space journey into the cosmic pop.


Black Apple sees Mo and Zeben soar ever outward and onward to majestically kiss the Todd Rundgren tinged, west coast blissed out stellar starlit edges of space. Retro in all its classic and AOR leanings but with a firm eye on the future

A feast of Ricardo Villalobos remix versions accompanies A Mountain Of Ones 3rd single “Black Apple Pink Apple" of their forthcoming collaboration loaded super group of an album "Stars Planets Dust Me”.

This heady odyssey is mastered and features a remix by Global Electronic music icon "Ricardo Villalobos", and soon to also be remixed by Ricardo on a full album of his interpretations of the forthcoming album.

Their first single "Custards last stand" from the forthcoming album had radio support from NTS radio, Worldwide FM, and BBC radio 6.


The forthcoming album “Stars Planets Dust Me” will be released April 1st of 2022.

Not counting last fall's excellent remix for Dntel, it's been nearly two full years since we've heard from Die Vögel. Is something afowl Not to worry: Jakobus Durstewitz and Mense Reents still flock together and their new EP is ready to hatch, just in time for summer. And they've got quite an interesting guest with them this time... 'The Chicken' begins with that familiar Pampa swagger, all clickety clackety in 3-D, and soon we hear the extended howl of some kind of beaked instrument, searing into your skull, as a looming voice dares you to 'try to look a chicken in the eye". Is that Vincent Price No, it's famed shoe-eating director Werner Herzog. (But yes, this release could prove itself to be no less than Die Vögel's Thriller.) Further layers of this hypnotic laser cry enter and exit, beckoning the sunrise, but you, my friend, are captive to its trance for the entire nine minutes. After you pull the feathers out of your mouth from that existentialist affair, turn to page B for 'Mesmerize": This one is easier on the psyche, both majestic and gentle, with legato horns and strings massaging your mood. Neapolitan sherbet for open-airs and open ears. So there you have it, perhaps the definitive Pampa 12, bearing that dependable turkey logo, credited to Die Vögel, named after to the world's most populous domesticated bird. Another coop from DJ Koze and company.

Launches his own imprint with two eagerly anticipated tracks on a double A-side 12-inch, KLON001.

Following a string of EPs for Unterton under his Mark alias, KLON001 debuted during Klon’s back-to-back DJ set with Nick Höppner for the Ostgut Ton aus der Halle am Berghain stream. His previous releases on A Colourful Storm and Thomas Melchior’s label My King Is Light garnered adherents like Raresh and Ricardo Villalobos, and these new productions drop all pretence of subtlety in favour of aggressively memorable hooks.

Butter Sessionsbestows the subsequent postscript toGuy Contact's2019 releaseLiminal Spacewith the Perth-based producers first long-player,Drinking from the Mirage. The record lines up eight enchanting configurations, with two digi bonus tracks. The compositions were recorded over the last couple of years in his bedroom studio. He explains, "most of them were recorded in the second half of 2020. I had just quit my full-time job and found myself with much more time and energy to be creative, the majority of the songs came to life during this period." The album's collection paints warm dreamscapes and expansive textures, an affirmation ofGuy Contactfurther refining his craft. He treads effortlessly between acid-stained techno, dreamy braindance and trancelike downtempo that acutely grip the neural network.

The LP takes off with it's anchor90 Mile Straight (Nullarbor Mix),a rhythm driven cruiser that sets the tone for the record. The album's titleDrinking From The Miragefollows, a collaboration with Perth artistNORI.Guy Contactcomments "Nora is a friend of mine and I hit her up with that song because I thought there was an opportunity to do something together. For this thirteenth issue, Daydream is extremely happy and honored to host the great Nick Beringer for a full solo EP. After one remix and a track, the talented Berliner is back on the imprint with a solid four tracker. The whole is a dreamy story made of deep and micro cuts.
