Olivier Romero for Sonet Music 02 captures the underground sound of France combining minimal elements to deliver a unique second offering from this vinyl only underground house record label with his latest EP 2H10AM.

2H10AM opens the EP, addictive and groovy whilst meticulously produced. This tight and to the point roller has a melodic edge which will make it appreciated by a wide variety of DJs.

Next up is Fu, darker and more visceral. Deep percussion drives this stripped back track with an infectious groove for clued up dance floors.

Closing up the record we have P.Seventeen, an interesting mix of inspirations, clever sampling and creative production. Quirky and unique with a swagger all of its own.

First release of Oursin is coming from Petru, a romanian artist who continued his work after some digitals releases and his contribution at Ouvert002 vinyl.


OURSIN001 - called Sun on Sunday kicks off with the track that also gives the name of the EP, a mesmeric groover which continues with mysterious “Shape” on side A.


On the flip side you find “Camphene” a layes back house and micro-sphered sensations.


Then, our guy Macarie took the sound to another level, doing a remix for “Camphene” that only he could do so well.

Arguably one of Get Physical’s most influential tracks, ‘O Superman’ sees a new release with remixes from Man Power and SIS alongside the 2008 version from Robag Whrume and a remaster of the now classic original. Man Power kicks off the new interpretations with an epic, ten and half minute version that patiently stretches the original’s melodies into pads and held bass tones across crisp, micro-house styled beats before unleashing loose, clattering breakbeats after a striking, extended breakdown. SIS’s dreamy, percussive version sees the German producer in hypnotic, and tracky form, focussing on the ebb and flow of the original’s tuneful vocoder and synth work that drift across his perfect groove. Robag’s Pumper-Nikkel remix, for those that missed it some years back, is yet another funky, chopped, sliced and diced piece of work from the playful producer and still sounds as fresh as ever. M.A.N.D.Y. vs Booka Shade feat. Laurie Anderson - O Superman Remixes are released on Get Physical 12” in late July with a digital release following in the Autumn.

An undisputed classic of the electronic music scene, Steve Bug's 'Loverboy' was released on the first Poker Flat release ever ' Double Action' back in 1999.

Over the years it has been reworked only by a few - but the list includes the likes of Josh Wink and Guido Schneider. Now, as part of the 20 years of Poker Flat celebration, more names are added to that remix list with two new superb remixes from Catz 'n Dogz and Acid Pauli.

Catz 'n Dogz are a Polish producer duo making big waves in recent years, and their version of 'Loverboy' brims with their unmistakable energy - chugging, hypnotic groove and tons of effects and melodic twists and turns. Berlin legend Acid Pauli approaches it from a different angle - stripping away elements until a deeply trippy skeletal house track remains.

The fourth record is an EP with four tracks from a young and very talented artist from The Netherlands - Artmann.

Artmann has been producing music since a young age and grew up developing his experience of multiple musical genres which he has implemented into his own styles, making him an all-round producer. Artmann's handwriting in house music is recognized and loved by listeners all over the world.

The year 2020 has been a powerful breakthrough in the industry for him, as evidenced by the many releases on Rendr, Houbless Music, Surge, Ovrdose Deep, Slightly Sizzled, Pitch, Rawesome Deep and others.

2021 is starting just as powerfully for this lad. Along with several digital releases on Rich Got Jacked, Purism, Elrow, Metafloor, HedzUp, the beginning of the year sees the release of his first own vinyl record - YOIONWAXOO4 on YOI! This record is the perfect ending to winter, tracks that will warm you up and put you in the mood for spring.

With previous releases on esteemed Wiggle records and Rob Pearson’s Evasive Records, he continues his run of form with a funky sleek all round fresh release with the Snout & About EP. Starting off with the grooving stripped-back Out Grazing, funky haunting chords splash around a wobbly lead that’s guaranteed to stick in your head for days after the party is done. Next up is the ominous Tunnel Music, which takes you in and out with low swung filters and snappy synth hits. The final track from Ollie comes with The Clock Shop, which features a trippy, low-slung late-night workout seemingly designed to catch you off guard. Finishing off the ep comes a cracker of a remix from Antony Difrancesco, which takes Out Grazing to a more club ready cut with early morning chords to complete this well polished ep
