Constant Sound is one of the very many labels that is headed up by Burnski and one that he reserves for club-ready tech house and minimal. Wodda steps up for the latest outing and brings some future garage energy to the opener, 'Reggae Fusion' (Deep mix) which is lit up with lithe synths and smart vocal samples. 'On My Way' has more infectious garage vibes to it with the squelchy drums and hits and some nice heady melodies up top. 'Changing Faces' gets more twisted and brings intergalactic drama to the ass-wiggling cyborg tech beats and last of all, a Tuff Mudda mix of 'Reggae Fusion' shuts down with a silky thump and throwback UKG bass.

Moving on to the 11th release on NorthSouth Records and it’s a return with another 4 tracker from label co-founder Harry McCanna who once again dons his Henry Hyde alias.

Leading the way on the record is Melting, a tried and tested dance floor killer, with it’s deftly programmed drums and bulbous baseline, it’s destined to twist a few melons on the dancefloor.

Up next is Shaking Off, moving things in to slightly lighter, bouncier territory, playful vocal snippets interspersed with zapping synth stabs, a certified wiggler!

On the flip, things get under way with Mire as the EP moves into a sludgier direction on the South side, heads down groove-a-plenty this ones an ear worm destined to get you shaking.

Rounding out the EP is Sunrise at the Pavilion. The clue is in the title, but just imagine this one and those gated synths, sun coming up through the trees, many special moments to be had for sure!

Der Remix von Mathew Jonson & The Mole erstreckt sich über die gesamte A Seite der 12'. Der Track wird über neun Minuten aufgebaut. Durch die langsam ansteigende Percussions und den Mix der Hi Hats findet der Remix seinen Spannungsbogen. Der Trademark Sound von Tobias. ergänzt diese lange Exkursion und ein völlig neues Stück entsteht. Die Wurzeln von - If' sind nur zu erahnen, jedoch ist der Remix ein ausgezeichneter Anhang zum Album.
- Cursor Item Only' bekommt eine neue Richtung von Peter Van Hoesen aufgedrückt, der schon auf der Berghain 05 Mix CD von Marcel Fengler ein atemberaubendes Intro beisteuerte. Sein Remix für - Cursor Item Only' ist ein gebrochener Techno groove mit interessanten Glocken Strukturen, die sich in Kombination der geschickt eingesetzten Effekten, wie eine Schraube im Break des Tracks zudrehen, um im nächsten Moment wieder in die Ausgangsposition zu fallen.

Will You joins the roster of Philipp Priebe’s Stólar this February with his ‘Is It 2 Late?’ EP accompanied by remixes from Lb Honne and Orion. Producer, DJ and Oleeva Records label boss Will You has been slowly unveiling his take on contemporary deep house and dub-tinged techno over the past few years via solo material and remixes on his own imprint and most recently a remix of Philipp Priebe’s ‘Movements In An Empty Department Store’ on Stólar. Here we see Will You returning to the latter aforementioned imprint with his latest EP.

Leading the release is ‘Santé’, a six and a half minute excursion through snaking sub bass tones, a crisp, shu®ed rhythm section, dreamy synth chimes, squelchy 303 licks and spoken word vocal lines. Title-cut ‘Is It 2 Late’ follows next and deviates into more dubbed out territory via expansive, unfurling echoes, cinematic atmospherics and robust, intricate percussion. Opening the ¬ip-side is Zurich’s Lb Honne’s interpretation of ‘Is It 2 Late’, the Project Indigo artist extracts the essence of the original and reshapes it into a subtly nuanced, loop-led and hypnotic workout. Italian duo Orion then conclude the package with their take on ‘Santé’, reshaping the original with their signature deep techno style, fuelled by grainy textural components and bumpy saturated drums.

The Frankonia (EP) is the result of the collaboration between Nils Weimann and Martin Glowacz, which started many years ago.
Side A serves two different, powerful tracks. Frankonia comes with warm atmospheres and spaces. Driven by the interaction of bass and synth lines, wrapped in some subtile delayed textures.
Lower has a rollin bass structure, combined with smashing vocals and surrounded by resonating marbles.
Side B belongs Paul Agripa's interpretation of Frankonia. (He's also known as a part of Comoji.)

Deep in Dis intl. proudly presents "SHAHRZAD" (DIDWAX001) by Parisian dj/producer Noiro. We are extremely gassed to showcase Noiro's eclectic and unique approach to club music with this 5 trax EP.

We start the journey with the highly experimental 'Kata Pulse', an intergalactic and powerful trip-hop influenced tune with a strong vocal game.

A2. 'Rude' follows the cosmic vibe perfectly with a bit more aggressive breakbeat but keeping a warm feeling at the same time. Where the b-boys at??

To wrap up the A-side, 'Aube Session' brings those mysterious and high cloud walker feelings. The dance floor is starting to get warm... crashy bells, dj scratches and twisted synth/bass lines turns on the auto pilot for what's to come flipping the record to the other side where Noiro depicts the rest of the story.

B1. '1F' is a club banger, structured around frenzy and hypnotic synths, solid drum patterns and an unflagging muffled bassline.

Closing the EP B2. 'Show Me' confirms it wasn't just fluke ladies and gentlemen, Noiro's distinctive and unique sound is here.

Lake People is finally back with a mini-LP consisting of seven pieces.
Although every track stands for itself and has a rather distinct signature, in their compiled form, they are still able to tell a harmonious story from start to finish — maybe somewhat "Foreverer" which is the title of the release.

The tenth, jubilee release of "Instrument" series is a sudden turning point and immediately changes the rules of the game, anticipating emerging trends. Oleg Buyanov - one of the main GOST contributors responsible for prominent records "True White" and "Height Difference" makes his debut in "Instrument" framework. OL's new release creates a path of complete diverseness - a unique mix of ambient, dub and mutational electronica, though the author's hip-hop DNA is still recognisable.

The release title as well as its symbol flirts with the privacy of communication in the context of its facilities and tools of the present world. Music acts as the info-channel, which provides unseen and coded data to a person from aside. The vagueness of mood, recurrent rhythm changes, and order of arrangement seem to rhyme with the paranoid feeling of being wiretapped. OL (along with another GOST ZVUK resident Flaty) recently had a similar experience of sound synthesis with their Serwed project whose recent LP was released via West Mineral Ltd. The groove of "SORM" is swirling, distorted and sometimes "disengaged"; sound guided by its waves exists in a constant process of decomposition, dissolution and then reassembles in new configurations.

Making a comeback to Kontakt, Thomas P. Heckmann unveils the latest chapter under his Metric System moniker. The release showcases a fresh composition with distinctive chords and reveals a hypnotic, unreleased gem from the TPH vault. Vril has crafted a sublime, bass-heavy treatment of 'Soul 440,' drawing inspiration from the distinctive soul of minimal Detroit house.

After his highly publicized breakup with Taylor Swift at LA’s Viper Room ,Iain Howie returned to Vancouver.

Taylor released “Bad Blonde Boy”, a breakup song about Iain and Iain quickly rebutted with “ Patterns” about Taylor.

He began working on his solo album and got a remix of Patterns by his shady neighbour “Jay Tripwire”. Partly because of the fact Taylor could never stand Tripwire.

Over the course of a year Tripwire churned out 10 different remixes for an alternative vinyl only release. Jay would have his friend Anton play various remixes from his hot dog cart in Bucharest.

One early morning it caught the ear from Cally. Cally had only intended to buy a foot long Frankenfurter after Guesthouse, but he was so captivated, that he asked Anton for a cassette tape of the song. Most Romanian DJs often look to Anton’s hot dog cart to find obscure unreleased gems.

Cally began his closed door ritual of compiling songs for closing Sunwaves that year. When getting his tea leaves read, his spirit guide advised him on using “Patterns” as the closing song to the festival.
Whether it was the come down from drugs or low serotonin, SW attendees could be seen crying on the dance floor during the song.
