Hanagasumi - hazy curtain of flowers, cherry blossoms appearing from afar like a white mist - this phenomenon can be seen during the sakura blossom in Japan.

The third release on the label from the musician Shine Grooves. This vinyl is a mini LP of five tracks with different moods. The release is opening with a melodic track with exciting keyboard chords, performed in the best traditions of electro rhythm. On the second track, the mood changes towards a glitch house with a 4x4 beat and a naive melody that penetrates deeply into the mind. The first side of the vinyl is closing with a techno track - a loop recorded on a Roland TR-606 drum machine with an atmospheric melody that flutters in the air throughout the entire composition.

The second side of the vinyl starts with a 10-minute ambient ode, with cosmic synthesizer sequences and fragments of phrases from telephone conversations - a slow entrance to another reality. The last track on the record has an experimental IDM flavor with melodic guitar tones.

This LP is made on 12" vinyl, hand stamped, limited to 300 copies. High quality analogue mastering by Sergey Luginin at Luginin Studio.

Haokah, one of the most intriguing names hailing from the wonderful Romanian minimal scene, are the authors of the 11th installment of Vivus Records. The duo is very well known in the local scene for their mesmerizing live sets and Vivus is proud to host them for this electrifying release.

The start of the EP is engaging to say the list. The first track, Engage, sets off rather calm but steadily increases. That crescendo serves perfectly to prepare the listener for the second track here, Between The Lines. The bass hits you hard from the beginning while the perfect storm of background noises, coupled with a recurring but discreet vocal takes things to another level.

The third track has the EP’s name, 144, and for good reason. It is the most introspective affair yet, but it also has that pulsating bass that will keep you constantly wanting more. You can almost see the sunrise at a beach afterparty somewhere at the seaside with 144 in the background. Finally, on Ever Lasting, we have lift off. In this spacey affair, full of cosmic noises, it feels as if something magical is around the corner: the acid touch does wonders, the eclectic background noises blend in perfectly and the 144 spaceship has truly taken off.

Following the release of a handful of fifth anniversary EPs, France's Politics of Dancing Records has decided to kick-start a new era for the label via a joint EP from serial collaborator Stephan Bazbaz and sometime Discotech Wax/4Plae Records contributor Alessio Viggiano. To our ears, the undisputed EP highlight is smooth, spacey and rolling opener 'Mogora', a late '90s style UK tech-house/deep house crossover cut that comes accompanied by a smoother and more hypnotic rework by Arapu. Over on the flip, the pair first offer up the more driving, angular and peak-time ready bounce of 'Immortal', before wrapping sharp, angular electronic melodies and warming chords around more bustling beats on bold closing cut 'Amaro'.

Mysterious label from Romania coming out in a limited series of releases.

The Untold Stories label continues in cosmic vibe with their PRO series single entitled Spok, by Franco Cinelli. The Bside features a remix by fellow Argentine and emerging talent Nektar Agu. The two artists first collaborated earlier in the year with Franco Cinelli doing a remix of Nektar Agu's track Rainy Days, which received support from Ricardo Villalobos. Now continuing in fine form Nektar Agu returns the favour with a superb remix of Franco's 14 minute atmospheric dance floor filler, developing it joyously, with intricate percussion and an altogether enlivening mood filled with Maasai voices which gives the remix a very different and earthly tribal spin in comparison to the more cosmic aura of the original Spok. Live long and prosper!

In terms of composition, melodic sensitivity, and subtle progression the music of japanese producer, Sound designer and dj stands out. Ambient, Future-Jazz, Deep House, Leftfield Elec-tronics: since more then 25 years the man from Sapporo expresses his emotions with a wide stylistic range.

As Kuniyuki or under pseudonyms like Koss or Newwave project, he released a body of work consisting of numerous albums and EP’s, that display his deep musical consciousness pro-foundly. Now his home label Mule Musiq drops “Remix Works “, an eighth tune strong compila-tion featuring for the second time since 2013 Kuniyuki Takahashi’s very own virtuosity of re-mixing.

A double vinyl that carries the full pallet of his skills – from yacht rock leaning synth-pop and balearic dreams to sweet wave signals and soulful Pop House.

Not counting last fall's excellent remix for Dntel, it's been nearly two full years since we've heard from Die Vögel. Is something afowl Not to worry: Jakobus Durstewitz and Mense Reents still flock together and their new EP is ready to hatch, just in time for summer. And they've got quite an interesting guest with them this time... 'The Chicken' begins with that familiar Pampa swagger, all clickety clackety in 3-D, and soon we hear the extended howl of some kind of beaked instrument, searing into your skull, as a looming voice dares you to 'try to look a chicken in the eye". Is that Vincent Price No, it's famed shoe-eating director Werner Herzog. (But yes, this release could prove itself to be no less than Die Vögel's Thriller.) Further layers of this hypnotic laser cry enter and exit, beckoning the sunrise, but you, my friend, are captive to its trance for the entire nine minutes. After you pull the feathers out of your mouth from that existentialist affair, turn to page B for 'Mesmerize": This one is easier on the psyche, both majestic and gentle, with legato horns and strings massaging your mood. Neapolitan sherbet for open-airs and open ears. So there you have it, perhaps the definitive Pampa 12, bearing that dependable turkey logo, credited to Die Vögel, named after to the world's most populous domesticated bird. Another coop from DJ Koze and company.

A2 it’s a roller coaster of fat bass patterns and fast paced loops ruled by the omni presence of the synthesizers, giving a trembling soul to the track that makes of Giperbola an ingenious theorem of refined nowdays Acid House.

The Journey is taking a detour for the experimental twilight zone of side B with Pjesa, a dreamlike dimension made of whispers and free notes played by an enchanted ghost piano, ranging over water dripping sounds and meditative echoes, well placed with an hypnotic slow bass line.

On B2 the vigorous remix of Pjesa by Federico Molinari, the re-interpretation of which is perfectly meant for the dance floor.

UNS004 sees the label's keepers and custodians dish out yet another crisp 4 tracker right on the money with soft gliding touches, ambivalent playfulness and rolling basslines on the B side, compounded on top of the title track who's warping space time overdrive pushes through continuously, all beginning with a twisted Caleidoscop of discombobulated voices and relayed signals bouncing back and forth across the spectrum.
