Vinyl only - Silky and smooth like a fox, Crihan makes his way through on Catren's third release with "Fabulistul". Eerily creeping through, "Fuse si se duse" tells a tale of fleeting forest creatures roaming at night with a classical percussion driven tool that hits just the rights spots for warming up the dancefloor with bouts of shy melodies and a beautifuly constructed drum track. Sweet and simple, just like we like it.

On the flip side, "Corbul si vulpea" moves things further into groovier waters with a bassline that pulls you deep into the track's inner workings with delayed dub stabs, haunting melodies and chilling vocals coming in from the woodwork.

Focus On Egoless comes again behind an electrical EP on board. After few months of isolation studio sessions, Moray and Andrew (the guy behind the mask of Different Reflexion) start a project protecting the most versatile face of the union, portrayed on the record.

Dutch producer Chris Stussy has been seriously busy in the past couple of years dropping slick and slender tech house on labels like Eastenderz, Rutilance, Djebali and Moscow Records. Now he appears on Constant Sound with yet more sophisticated dancefloor gold. "Take A Leap Of Faith" leads the charge with a driving yet delectably dubbed out take on peak time tech house, peppered with vocal slices and a cheeky acid rub. Relic offers up a remix that straps a sharp, swinging garage house beat to the track with excellent results. "Point Loma" is a funky workout with some cracking slap bass hits, and "Limerence" gets a little quirky without losing that immersive atmosphere of the lead track.

We are pleased to announce the next vinyl only release on Pathway Traxx and an exciting new direction for the label focusing on the more minimal/tech side of house while still maintaining its true house roots. Label owner Niko is accompanied by underground house hero Nima Gorji and the in-form trend setter Primarie from the formidable Tzinah Records.

Ciprian Stan joins Sonet Music for their 3rd outing and this London based Romanian does not disappoint. After recent outings on Pool House,Yarn Records, Piano Forest and Music Is Art, his Sonet EP sees him in top form.

Channels opens the EP with a consistent low end groove, combining quirky samples and clever percussion with the right level of energy to keep interest on the dance floor.

Next up is Some X Some Y which from the outset has a killer groove and bass line, with plenty of attention given to its clever drum programming, a great track which will fit in any club room.

Planks with it's haunting synths and hypnotic elements will suit sets later into the night.

Several Times has a typical Romanian sound and gets a little more quirky with it's unbalanced feel, the drums are on point here with a sublime tommy low end.

The 9th release on BLKMARKET MUSIC is the second follow up release by Taimur, Amo, and Ostara under their T.A.O. alias. TAO stands for the absolute principle underlying the universe, combining within itself the principles of yin and yang and signifying the way, or code of behavior, that is in harmony with the natural order.

Yulia Niko returns to Crosstown Rebels this June with Fatima. This exceptional release sees the Berlin based artist draw on influences from across the globe to create two mesmerising tracks, alongside a remix from Romanian minimal hero Priku feat. Dinu.

On the introspective Fatima, Yulia displays her values, producing a track that harnesses Asian inspired strings and a beautiful vocal allowing the mind to walk through the fields of a distant land. The Priku remix of Fatima featuring Dinu sees the original reworked with dubby chords and intricate percussion, creating a hypnotic piece for the dancefloor. Then Man From Ubud sees the style switch to a fluid rhythm, a natural warm energy is produced by organic keys, lively flute and charismatic vocals.

Yulia Niko’s original minimal techno sound has gained her admiration the world over, including the attention of heavyweights such as Damian Lazarus, Jamie Jones and Dennis Ferrer. Housy pleasures of yesteryear combined with a dynamic, expressive approach make this EP a timeless musical journey - morphing from upbeat funk to sweaty house anthem, and from a declaration of love to bittersweet future jazz; all this while maintaining his signature fun and flowing style.

Breaking rules in the right way, Mr Jones really wears his heart on his sleeve to deliver this really fun and moving display of house music. Expect more to come from the Peruvian boys in Barna...

Dark and driving, these four tracks from Sonohat paint a monochromatic landscape tinted with mysterious melodies. "Nohemiann" sets the tone of the album with distorted chords and a whipping baseline. As the Great Conjunction of Thra’s Three Suns draws ever closer, schuttle casts his sonic offerings out into this dying World in an attempt to restore balance and offer us all a chance to ascend to a higher level of existence.

The record begins by conjuring up the 'Ritual Master'. Stuttering vocals dance over ceremonial strings; the great Unifying kick drum clears the undergrowth for a bassline so life affirming that it could raise UrSu himself.

The quest continues with ‘Heretic’. After consuming a hero’s dose of Urdrupe berries, a righteous vision of a writhing, divine dancefloor comes into focus. The soundtrack to the collectively imagined communal space.

The B side begins with 'Ekt'. Angular, fractured percussion marches on, shrouded in cold, dew soaked pads, climaxing with a chord as deep as it is wide. Then, just as the three suns begin to align, ‘Weaver’ makes its gentle presence known. Finishing the journey with crystalline clarity and warmth. Luxurious chords disperse over elegant synthesis, whilst a powerful kick caresses our hearts. Perhaps it isn’t too late to restore our Vital Essence?

London based ANII returns home to KOMPAKT following a breakthrough year. Since the release of her KORZENIE EP (KOM 380) then releases on AEON AUDIO and POLYMATH she continues to bring a unique and highly emotive take on techno and house music to a sound that has become more and more mundane over recent times. She's back with ANIITIME - a diverse, three track EP that starts with RIDE THE TIGER. It made us squeal with glee when we first heard it. Animal Crossing invites Jake Flory for their second release with an infectious 4 track EP.

Geena's first release on his own imprint. Three original club hits made of deep & goofy house gimmicks. If you haven't listened some four to the floor club tracks with accordion for a long time, this record is for you. Too Smooth Christ, the rising french star, and Raymonde, a guy from the gone tribe, give their own interpretation of sound patterns you heard throughout those tunes.

Alexis Cabrera debuts on FUSE sister imprint Infuse as he releases his four-track ‘Acidity’ EP.

Argentinian born, Berlin-based producer and live act Alexis Cabrera has emerged as one of South America’s finest electronic music exports with a string of stand-out releases via the likes of Raum…Musik, Moscow, Yaji and Salty Nuts over the past few years alone. A co-founder of Fun Records alongside fellow Argentian Barem, Cabrera’s sophisticated, groove-heavy sound combined with his impressive live performances have seen him take to world renowned venues such as Watergate, Tresor and Hoppetosse in his adopted hometown, and September now welcomes another ‘feather in his cap’ as he makes his debut on FUSE sister imprint Infuse to deliver his four-track ‘Acidity’ EP.

Taking cues from its title, lead cut ‘Acidity’ unveils a bubbling acid-driven production guided by sweeping synths and slick drum licks, whilst ‘Bulevardò’ journeys through warping electronics, shuffling percussion and off-kilter vocal murmurs to offer up a twisting, hypnotic ride. As time passes, Aforisme label is only adding gems to its catalog and the next one to shine is Root with his Cezariad EP. A combination of deep drums throbbing through layers of bass lines and melodious partitions.

He outsets with “Cezariad” – a dynamic composition with satiny claps that evolve throughout the time of listening into a core part of the piece. With a start-to-end listening, we can hear the bass line groaning sometimes in the back of the glossy keys and electronic environment. The casual shots are colonizing the imagination of the listener, estranging it from the primary source of the sound. A peaceful start is something to sum this up.

“Black Gold” – the name speaks for itself. A metallic continuance of the record with generosity in bleakly sounds and eccentric build up. The digitalization of this track can be felt from the first minute and we talk about the sonification of Root’s message through this particular piece. It reminds us of a playful xylophone paired with floor rhythms in a minimalistic entourage.

Taking the whole side B of this record, “Quantum Anomaly”, builds its surroundings in distorted ways and more specific – bleeps and stretched alien-ish pads that wrap in an out-of-room sonic voyage. The dynamics of Root and Parallax Deep are immaculate here, both putting under the spotlight their visions in a co-operative way. Speedy drums of Parallax’s are amiably confronting Root’s ghostly view on the melodic build-up.
