Ruutu Poiss, the Amsterdam/Tallinn based expert in glistening psychedelic electronics, arrives on the first outing for Wake Dream (A new label run by Amsterdam’s Orpheu The Wizard).

After releasing several 7”s, 12”s and EP’s on Levels, International Major Label, Rets Records and features on various compilations from Fasaan Rec. and Porridge Bullet, Ruutu Poiss lands at Wake Dream to release his first full length album (WADR002), scheduled for late summer 2020.

Leading up to the album, this untitled three tracker gives you a taste of his unique spectrum of kaleidoscopic modular dance music, futuristic synth funk and emotionally charged experimental cuts. These three tracks are not featured on the album and are exclusive only to this pre-release!

2LP Over the past decade, SUED co-founder SW. has arranged the building blocks of dreamy rave and techno music-billowing pads, undulating sub-bass and adroit, nuanced drum programming-into and novel dance floor structures. TRUElipS, SW.’s first full album since 2016 and his first for Avenue 66, is a beguiling, fully-realised statement. The 12-track LP is rooted in the storied ’90s era when the spirit of orbital raves and free parties was channeled into massive leaps forward in the studio. A combination of house and drum & bass looms large, as does the much-referenced intelligent techno era, but if you’ve listened to an SW. record, you already know TRUElipS is the work of a singular auteur. Breakbeats, rave stabs and major chords permeate the album, motoring along on a chassis of sine-wave bass lines and SW’s widescreen percussive vision. Forays into downtempo and sweeping ambience keep the listener’s head in the clouds, while the superb melodic techno constructions that comprise the album’s core are at once contemplative and liable to bring on a giddy head rush. TRUElipS brims with the optimistic, escapist spirit that fueled dance music’s original triumph, a throwback to bright, imagined futures.

Following her 2019 debut Womanhood, Klein Zage makes a triumphant return with new EP Tip Me Baby One More Time. With plaudits and endorsements from Pitchfork, Resident Advisor, Bradley Zero, DJ Python, Mr. Mitch, Femme Culture and more in tow, she presents a record inspired by her beloved service industry. Her cut-throat lyrics, razor-sharp beats and wry humor carry through from the housey menstruations of Womanhood to Tip Me Baby's anthemic exposé of the server/guest dynamic.

Zage sees the restaurant as club, the service floor as a dance floor - a place for performance one in the same. If the A-side presents Zage 'clocked in', on the B-side, she's 'clocked out' - transporting the listener to the inner workings of her mind with the help of Joey G ii on 'I'm (Almost Certain That I'm) Here’ -- hailed by Tip Me Baby remixer Facta as 'one of my favorite songs this year'.

For their third release, Sentaku calls upon the forces of Delaj - a fresh new name emerging from the Parisian underground scene. With compositions echoing the grace and poetry of Kazunomiya's calligraphy, Delaj brings us deep within his hypnotic groove that ever keeps us yearning for more. The title track particularly comes as a comforting rhythm with enigmatic vocals, that are elegantly complemented by a playful drumming in Argentinean sensei Jorge Savoretti's remix. Together, they enthral us through a musical adventure culminating with tracks emulating the serenity of Eastern spirituality. Like Kazunomiya herself, SENTAKU003 is as beautiful as it is deadly.

Hibit Black is the new born brother of already known Hibit Records label. We aim to release music from undiscovered new talents and already established artists in the scene.

The latest collection of wayward floor heaters from Nuances De Nuit takes us once more into a colourful headspace where the possibilities are wide open to make house music with personality. Californian shining star Liquid Earth is up first, although he's better known as Urulu. 'X-Form' is a bubbling metropolis of futuristic synth squiggles with starry-eyed wonder in its heart and vintage techno smarts up top. Huerta follows up that sterling start with the enchanting electro incantations of 'Legwork', which build wonderfully on the sound laid out on his recent debut album for Voyage Recordings. On the flip, DJOKO brings a smart shuffle and some shimmering synth work to the forefront for a seriously smart twist on the tech house template, while T. Jacques opts for space age machine funk with a splash of boogie poured in for good measure.

Following our deep & dubby vibes, this time is our Swiss friend Philipp Lichtblau as usual, no digital promotion and limited edition.

Argentinian collaborators Paulem have procured the 5th instalment in VSA Records’ surmounting catalogue of vinyl depositions.

After making a V/A appearance on ‘EXCURSIONS # 5’ via Phuture Shock’s EXCURSIONS sub-label in 2018, rising German talent Sandilé returns, this time on the Bristol-based parent imprint, with a blistering two-track missive entitled ‘Bulla Bulla’.

Having emerged out of Cologne’s vibrant underground house and techno scene over the last few years, the local DJ and producer has steadily built a name for herself with frequent DJ gigs across Europe and a clutch of releases on hometown labels including Like Records and IM IN LOVE. While last year saw the German artist land a production credit on Berlin’s Neovinyl, by way of a notable collaboration with prolific house duo Black Loops.

Here adding to her growing credentials, with her first solo outing on Phuture Shock Musik, Sandilé showcases her versatile, groove-driven style across two club-bound tracks - both of which bridge the gap between the soulful essence of deep house and the unrelenting drive of techno; replete with dark and dubby overtones, whilst also heavily taking cues from the UK’s rich bass music roots.

The opening salvo arrives in the form of the bass-driven ‘Bulla Bulla’, where a rollicking, tom-tom laden groove, sharp hi-hats and driving beats serve as a taut, rhythmic base for a whirlwind of fluttering dub chords, manic rimshots and Jamaican vocal chants that delicately merge with deeply emotive keys and lush pads enriched with the hi-tech soul of Motor City and an air of Bristol melancholy. Maintaining the dancefloor urgency on the B-Side, albeit on a more pensive, heads-down tip is ‘Heavy One’, which unfolds with the throb of hefty 4/4 kicks, bubbling low end and delay-drenched synth stabs that incessantly pierce through layers of skittering percussion and snappy claps, before a cascade of eerie padded chords akin to the 90’s intelligent jungle atmospherics of LTJ Bukem’s Good Looking imprint - takes you on a late-night sonic journey across the dark Metropolis of Berlin via Cologne through to inner city London and Detroit, running deep into the afterhours.

Japanese producer JUN KITAMURA released 2EPs from his own label Capricious back in 1998 and 2000 named Outergaze and Outergaze 2 by his artist name JUN. They were both Underground hit in the UK and other countries. EFD compiles 2 tracks from these 2EPs, which are still heard in dance floors worldwide after more than 10 years, as the first release EFD Classic series.

Recognized for bringing some of the most cutting-edge DJs to Tokyo from its inception in 2013 (starting with a:rpia:r), Beat In Me is proud to announce the launch of its own record label. Catalog No.001 finds Raha, a key contributor to the Japanese club scene for over 30 years, collaborating with his creative partner K-Sobajima to bring us their very first EP. The Nugs are back in business. For this second EP we joined forces with two Italian artists. On side A, Robbenspierre delivers two amazing tracks, A1 has a solid bassline followed by an oldschool vibe, A2 brings an hypnotic groove pointed straight to the dancefloor. Side B belongs to the promising duo, Dormald. B1 is a mysterious House track with a touch of acid, B2 has a strong minimalistic rhythm separated by a sequence of breaks.

Pluie/Noir's close admiration for the land of the rising sun and its artists is not new. Having released two very solid EP's from veterans Radiq and Fumiya Tanaka in the past, the imprint drives its attention to Japan once again, this time to showcase the work of the young and talented Berlin-based artist Yuzo Iwata
Already established as a valuable and passionate organizer and DJ in Japan's music scene, Yuzo's 'Kiteki EP' is his first vinyl output after his move to Berlin, and a perfect showcase of his skills in story-telling, musical composition, and sonic wizardry. True Story (Kyakushoku Mix)' (A1) is the EP's melodic behemoth:
spanning through all sorts of emotional states, 'True Story' is a piece that's as 'cinematographic sci-fi' as it is 'early-morning club', especially due to its very particular movement of tension and release. "Night Train" (B1) is the set piece of Yuzo's story about locomotion: a hypnosis-inducing, constantly moving musical
translation of a night-time train ride through Japan, with a dubby deep low-end that constantly reminds the listener to keep moving. 'Ueno' (B2) is the last track of the EP and also the name of a train station in Tokyo, which (not) coincidently
is the last station from multiple regions in Japan since a long time. Here, like a chameleon, Yuzo shows his versatility as a producer capable of bending musical genres where groove and sonic engagement are key to success.
The release was visually interpreted by the Japanese painter Mamoru Kondo through a traditional and highly special technique of rock painting mixed with animal glue, translating Yuzo's musical train into a unique graphical work.

Amphia 021 is narrated by Christopher Ledger, who subtly
undertakes us into different corners of the electronic music
field.

The record provides 4 dance-oriented tracks, with moments of
introspection, a state of mind in which one does not fear to
explore his inner gloomy parts.
Side A begins with “Afterglow”, which smoothly blends its
dynamic rhythm and acid bassline with dreamy pads giving an
alluring glimpse into its ingenuous approach.
“Not formally” feels like a change of register with its four to the
floor beat and airy pads encompassing multiple textures.
The sequel surprises the peak of the EP, with “Deceptive”.
Sharp edges and a heavy bass line give the track its raw appeal
perfectly combined with the “deceptive” minor chord.
With an enigmatic approach, the record ends with “See
through”, concluding the scenic space we’ve all been guided
through.

Monkey Safari’s Hommage label has been churning out some of the best, cutting-edge dance floor cuts for the past half
decade focusing on a wide array of stylings from both the label heads themselves to many of today’s hottest artists
spanning the spectrum from Techno to House. So, when Hommage turned to the Frankfurt based and fabled artist Reboot
for their latest release after his highly acclaimed remix of Monkey Safari’s ‘Helios' in earlier this year, it was no surprise.

The extremely versatile producer not only delivered a stunning EP but something the label has yet to deliver
sonically. Spanning seven extremely versatile tracks Reboot serves up what could be his most advantageous release yet
by combining a plethora of sounds traversing the musical gamut with a main focus set firmly in the realm of Dub Techno.

Opening the EP with the low slung and extremely atmospheric cut ‘Vulvation’ Reboot channels the essence of Detroit and
artists like Deepchord with reverb heavy yet incredibly engaging aural artifacts before upping the tempo on ‘River’ where
an infectious groove is paramount leaving the hazy harmonies to carry us off into the proverbial ether. ‘Fairytales’ pursues
and with this tune, Reboot dives deep into the sounds of early Dub leaving the Techno aesthetic to the way side as the
spirit of Lee Scratch Perry and King Tubby come full frontal as early Dub Reggae leanings take the lead where Echo Space
delays, washed out vocals and shimmering guitar licks create an undeniably beautiful journey. Ramping up the pace once
again, ‘Kookaburra Baby’ relies on more classic 4/4 techniques as the kick and percussion set the foundation for sonic
glimmers and lush melodies that feel as psychedelic as they do euphoric resulting in a ride on a bed of clouds through
lavishly pink sunsets to the far reaches of the cosmic expanse. Diving back into the Dub Reggae spectrum, ‘Downtown’
fuses the classic stylings of early Dub with modern Techno stylings birthing a gorgeous and contagious tune that could be put on an infinite loop. Nearing the end of the EP ‘Valley’ drives the tempo up again as crisp hi hats and foggy sonics coalesce into a dreamy yet energetic trek through ethereal spaces before the last track on the EP ‘Sience’ drops
the speed once again, focusing on far reaching atmospherics and classic Dub sounds resulting in a gorgeous finale to an already stunning and extremely graceful short player that will remain as fresh and exciting centuries from now, as it does
today.

Oliver Doerell is putting out an album that sounds like a late electronica manifesto. As CUMMI FLU, Doerell mainly does sound design. There is not a sound on Z that has been included by chance. A puzzle whose pieces do not always fit seamlessly together. Some go over the edges a little bit, giving an overall impression of unevenness. And this blurring or ambiguity is what makes Doerell's music so special.

The 4th vinyl to be pressed on Vandalism Black Series is delivered by label head, Dubphone and it features One original track and three remixes dropped by Onno plus two breakthrough Artists from Romania, Rares Romanov and Rhem. VBS004 has big support from tINI, Bill Patrick, Gel Abril, Igor Vicente.

Rotterdam’s own Jamie Lie A Kwie returns to VL Recordings for his first solo EP on the label, delivering four dancefloor ready weapons that have garnered support from the Romanian shores of Sunwaves to Club Space in Miami.

A1 sees ‘Kiwi’ lead with a pumping 4/4 kick, laden over bubbling synths, modulating subs and crunchy arpeggiators that automate playfully, as soft atmospherics whisper in the background. EP title track ‘Jungl.’ traverses through a near 11 minute journey, starting with discordant, jazz-infused hits and chugging rhythms, which patiently build towards a wistful breakdown, one primed for the after hours.

On the flip ‘Re-dub Overdub’ offers submerged dub chords that interplay with panning bongo patterns and a steady mid-bass refrain, supplemented by tripped out atmospheres, fading in and out of focus. Concluding the package is ‘In Arts’, a heads down, meditative number, propelled by clinical drum processing and an evolving, earworm hook, one that would feel comfortable on the floors of festivals and intimate clubs alike.

Nordische Minimal Electronica, gefühlvoll instrumentiert. Inkl. Tale Of Us Remix. Nach ihrer "Looped EP", die zum Record Store Day im April 2015 veröffentlicht wurde, bringen sich Kiasmos kurz vor Jahresende noch einmal mit drei neuen Titeln und einem Remix von Tale Of Us in Erinnerung. Kiasmos besteht aus dem isländischen Komponisten Ólafur Arnalds, der für seine Mischung aus minimalistischen Klavier- und Streicher-Kompositionen und elektronischen Sounds bekannt ist, und dem Färöer Janus Rasmussen, zugleich Kopf des Elektro-Pop-Projekts Bloodgroup. Die EP wird vom vierminütigen Track "Drawn" eröffnet, einem perkussiven Titel mit seichten Klavier-Motiven.

"Gaunt" begeistert mit Ambient-Synthies, einem Drum Loop und langsam sich bewegenden Akkorden. Der Titelsong "Swept", den das Duo bereits bei Konzerten als Überraschungsgeschenk in Form von Download-Karten an Fans verteilte, stellt eine clubtaugliche Beat-Struktur in den Vordergrund - einhergehend mit der von Kiasmos bekannten gefühlvollen Instrumentierung. Abgeschlossen wird die EP durch einen Remix des in Berlin ansässigen Duos Tale Of Us.

Dieses stattet den Downbeat-Charakter des Titelsongs mit einer sehr dunklen Ästhetik aus. Pulsierende Hi-Hats und ein treibender Bass-Loop geben dem Track mehr Tempo, während er sich zu einem epischen Ende auftürmt.

Oi Mates! With the official release of our SNC002 record back in march 2020, a weird time for our society and especially for our subculture started – the Covid-19 pandemic and the resulting shutdown for all night clubs and festivals caused a big break and calming of our scene. We still used the time productively to introduce you to an incredibly talented new producer and to launch our 003 record. Give a warm round of applause and be prepared for SALOMO, straight outta Ostdeutschland. The Leipzig based producer and DJ, already got some stunning releases on R.A.N.D. Muzik Recordings and is now serving the first solo release on SNC Recs. The space journey on our imprint continues and starts with two melodic and atmospheric heaters. Ignition serves as a breaky warm-up tune, where as A2 is definitely made for a housey peak time moment – a track which puts a smile on every ravers face. On the B-side, the energy continues – Vault, an uptempo banger with 143 BPM perfectly connects the peak time vibe and will energize every crowd for sure. The last track, B2, Forma, completes the Zero Gravity EP – another genius production of Salomo with emotional arps and synth-lines which sends every listener to his personal journey. Plastic Ivy, who has made a name for herself in the underground spheres of analog synth experimentation, has released her first full length for Kraftjerkz, entitled “Spots of Time.” The album is as much a lyrical treasure as it is an analog synth dream, brought to life through abundant melodies and arpeggiations, alluring vocals, and a somber emotional tone that courses through the veins of the album.

Plastic Ivy’s influences are wide ranging; sonically, the nod to cold wave, the new romantics, and early indie is clear. Disfunction is a cool, minimalistic deep house tune, whose rhythmic percussion groove will hardly let one leg stand still.
Martin Eyerer’s brought Disfunction in a more technoid context, but his version never loses sight of the groovyness as well.
The second original of the EP, Travelling Without Moving, is carried by a deep pad, which is constantly wafting in the background, giving the track a cozy warm mood. Friends of the black gold can already look forward to the trippy track Moon Tune, which will only be released on vinyl for the time being.

’La Macarena’ is one of the brightest lights in Barcelona’s glimmering nightlife, and a landmark of the Spanish techno scene. 17 years in daily business brought thousands of electronic artists behind the decks and countless dancers and electronic music lovers on the floor of the legendary micro club. The new music label ’Macarena Musica’ features musical contributions by ’Macerena’ resident artists and special guests - all of them share a big love for ’La Macarena’ and Barcelona. The passionate crafted releases come as limited vinyl-editions and extended digital packages, complete with expressive black-and-white artworks, capturing the atmosphere of the club and the streets of Barna.

For the debut release, ’Macarena’ longterm-resident Patrick Zigon teamed up with his friend Paulo Olarte for ’Belleza Tropical’ - a declaration of love to the club and the heart warming vibe of Barcelona, which is strongly coloured by the latin way of life. It’s not surprising at all that this beautiful inspiration led Patrick Zigon to a tropical excursion into the deep cosmos of latin-infused Techno and House music. Two raw extended trips from the mind of STL in a rare foray beyond his self-run Something imprint. Stephan Laubner applies his usual auteur principles to these groove experiments, whose sounds circle round each other cagily, rough meeting smooth, organic meeting synthetic, all combining in a propulsive form that's classic STL. Shifty hats on 'Crank Notion' provide an insistent shuffle through which nauseous pads plot a dissonant course. 'Neat Buzzl' is a grimier excursion in the undergrowth, little creatures scurrying left and right while the kick maintains its forward stomp. Join STL and Assemble Music in these off-map excursions and see where you emerge.

In the cracks that sprawl between electronic and analog music, visual art, and craft creation, Yamila dances on the edge of sound and conceptual heights. The Spanish composer, cellist, singer and producer is based between Belgium, Holland and Spain. In recent years Yamila has created music for contemporary dance productions in places such as The Gothenburg Opera, Netherlands Dans Theater, and Dance Forum Taipei, among others. Her projects have been presented at festivals such as Sonic Acts Festival (Amsterdam), Arts Electronica (Linz), Seoul International Computer Music Festival, STRP Festival (Eindhoven), and Today's Art festival (The Hague) to name a few.

With 'Iras Fajro' (Forbidden Colours), her debut album, Yamila, summons in 11 songs with the strength of electronic sounds in front of a fragile voice that at times unfolds in small coral clusters. The brilliant electronic arpeggios and rhythms dissolve in the velvety voices of the cello, which are sometimes intertwined with the creations of two collaborators, the British producer and composer Clark (Warp) and the multifaceted ex- flamenco Nin~o de Elche (Sony).

YARN Records is a new label from Jena with focus on new dubby-minimal-ambient sounds from all over the world - united under the warmth of a special feeling. The first EP A Feeling That We Share opens the YARN-cosmos with three trippy tracks from Laurel, Sugubo and Incolor. This droney piece comes handstamped in a recycled paperbag with sticker and 30 minutes of joy. It is limited to 300 copies.

The Hivern split series was born as a platform for club-ready tracks that don't require a broader sonic context to express themselves. It's also as a way of generating an unplanned dialogue between artists in the label's orbit, connecting the dots amid them in spontaneous and almost unconscious ways. The third installment of the series brings together Beesmunt Soundsystem and Cooper Saver. Their two tracks share a similar approach, deconstructing ethereal sounds over dark rhythmic foundations to reach the same kind of narcotic transcendence. The visual concept of the series has been developed by London-based design studio DR.ME. Vinyl-only.

Italian electro-acoustic composers Giuseppe Ielasi and Nicola Ratti reconvene their unique Bellows collaborative project for a new album on Shelter Press.

Continuously drawing an hypnotic maze with albums on Boomkat Editions, Entr'acte, and Ielasi's cult Senufo label, Bellows offers their rst album on Shelter Press with Strand.

Clocking right under 40 minutes, Strand is direct and desorienting. With eight tactile but distant untitled tracks, the album convokes a complex sound palette between acousmatic sound and fractal beats.

Recorded in Milano at their very own Standard recording studio, Strand marks a shift in Bellows previous recording process, bringing more music gear on the table: tapes, modular synthesizers, effects and samples. Captured live over the course of a four days improvised session, the album oats between ghostly melodies, musique concre`te, and analog electronics.

Echoing with the artwork by Amsterdam- based artist Louis Reith, whose collages made of found black and white images are disrupted by bold geometric constructions, the album is disorienting and fascinating, seating right in between the challenging world of electro-acoustic and a more welcoming beat-oriented territory.

Strand is a fascinating body of work, growing over time and revealing more of its complexity at every listen.

Debugger is a new project from Richard Knight examining the hazy area between late night headphones and early morning dancefloors. Based somewhere in the middle of natural beauty and urban decay in the North of the UK, Debugger creates a hybrid sound of artificial soul with a skewed groove. Making inorganic sound sources seem natural and organic sound sources seem synthetic; the outcome is a concoction that is both deep and laced with absurdity.

Knight has been active with unusual sounds in and around Manchester for several years and can usually be found thrashing hard drives until they produce music. His techno influenced releases under his own name and pseudonyms have received support and airplay from John Tejada and Daniel Steinberg among others.

Romanian producer Mihai Pol presents his 'Edge of Echoes LP' for Lokomotiv's third release, with LKMV003 featuring 5 tracks on a double-disc 180 grams vinyl record.

'Emde' sets the scene with a low slung, fast paced bassline, complemented by circulating, dreamy elements which imagine an inescapable dancefloor primed groove for the A-side.

On the B-side, the title track 'Edge of Echoes' introduces some of Mihai's more nostalgic, signature space age textures. Futuristic, otherworldly elements and glitchy qualities fill the canvas to create an adaptable staple track for any dancefloor.

For the C- side, Mihai revisits a creepy, enigmatic elegance, with Busy Guys' fluctuating bassline and striking percussion cataloguing it as a must have afterhours track.
