The A side opens on the Levant mix where a nostalgic yet hopeful theme takes a ride on solid minimal drums. The horizon sucks the swell and the fleet fades away with "Far at Sea" on A2. The B side plays a more drums/beats oriented edit of "Samana" infused by clubhead friend Lazare Hoche. Julien relaunches his own imprint with this release and many others to follow.

Following on from Mr.C's Stand Up single & full length Incidents album comes the second single from his album entitled Ripple Effect, which comes with 3 stunning remixes. The single kicks off with Marc Houle's remix & in typical Marc Houle fashion is a wonderful slice of electronic techno in which a funky bass-line, tight rubber beats & atmospheric effects work around the original 303 acid line. Next Noel Jackson ups the tempo, reworks the bass-line, the pads & effects of the original into a real Detroit workout that's an immediate dancefloor winner. Lastly on the flip side Chloe again uses the original parts to perfect affect to take her mix deeper. The bass-line has the most infectious bounce, which makes this remix perfect for either late night heads down darkness or peak time action. This single once again demonstrates why both Mr.C & Superfreq are creating tsunamis in the clubs right now.

London based House label Inermu brings the eighth in their Vinyl Only series in the form of this 4 track VA. Including tracks from Guy Johnson, Revivis, Kreutziger and Rotty.

Running and curating a label of his own makes perfect sense as a next chapter for one of the Dutch capitals most prolific artists. The label will serve as a platform for solo material by Boris, as well as collaborations with a myriad of befriended producers, vocalists and other musically likeminded spirits he has met over the years. Musically, expect the unexpected. Caught In A Bubble will be a creative outlet for sounds ranging from abstract, heady and trippy all the way to almost acoustically organic and groovy.


The first outing on the label serves as a perfect example of this ostensibly broad pallet of sounds and influences, becoming manifest in a cohesive yet surprising collection of tracks. The A side is featuring collaborations with Amsterdam cult figure San Proper & vocalist Gretz and another with the illustrious Funky Bunch. Meanwhile the flip sees Dutch minimalist maestro Ion Ludwig on remix duties. Turning Werner & Propers playful and groovy “CIAB” into the kind of strung out dance floor burner he is known and revered for the world over. Rounding out this already impressive collection of tracks with a solo effort is non-other than Werner himself with the aptly titled “Rhythm & Beat, Yes”.

The nostalgia of something that you only experience in your head.

This year Alin Crihan has been showing many different sides of his musical palette. For the 12th UVAR he pushes the boundaries yet one more time and draws six mind altering musical trips. The album takes the listener on an intricate and enigmatic ride where he once again demonstrates his remarkable ear and understanding for detail. The album is dominated by warm, floppy mirco sounds and noises woven into a steady beat . The complex composition and texture feels light to the ears of the listener which makes this album a refined, multilayered creation.


Alin’s fascination for the sea and river made him reconnect to it while producing the album. Listening closely, one will perceive the pleasurably peaceful sounds that radiate a deep dive into the water or navigate you near it. Symbolically water stands for purity, circulation, flow and motion, so all the characteristics that apply to the sounds and noises that we come across hearing in the six tracks. The album is a beautiful and pure way to reconnect with something that lies in our instincts - an inner peace treaty. In most of us this feeling evokes around water, when we get away from the city, the troubles or even ourselves and start rearranging and clearing the thoughts in our heads.

Sibe B brings the London break out artist James Dexter to SIM with "Inside," a deep cut featuring a heart throbbin bassline, a kick and snare combo that chugs with anthem like vocal hits... must have for a deep set! Jascha Hagen is back for Luise's largest sibling and takes it all down a notch. »A Touch of Cold Water« is a tale of minimalism and awareness, carefully placed and well de ned elements, light spaces and echoing rooms. A string of tracks that vary between unfazed euphoria and sober retrospection, slightly out of tune like the voice in your head. Who needs to wipe o the dust when it scratches so nicely.

One of the first visitors to Planet Euphorique, Melbourne-based producer Roza Terenzi makes her triumphant return with the first LP release on the label. A playful yet cohesive collection from post-electro and extra-terrestrial techno to dreamy prog-house and low slung zingers, bumping us into the new decade. Modern Bliss, the sound of Roza Terenzi fully realized.

Never shy to experiment with unconventional sounds or mingle influences, the album presents 9 offerings to suit every flavor of raver. After a breakthrough year in 2019, Krab Records unveils a new series to kick start their 2020. The label delivers a hand picked cast of artists tasked with delivering their own take on Krab's quickly growing sound in the first of many Vinyl-Only releases.

Argentinian Neik provides the perfect start to KRBVA001 with his signature style, providing a glitched out roller with infectious energy. G76 establishes a sonic universe that dares to immerse you with a piercing and powerful tone on his latest EP for Naural - Giarmata Plutonium. His electronic arrangements are enriched with seductive energy, delivering a straight-forward sound that reveals modern minimal-tech templates.

“A good colonel is hard to find” introduces a hollowed-out groove with eventual vocal shadings and glitchy modular accents providing the ear candy.

“Unmark my words” is a chunky four-to-the-floor track with tantalizing details like ascending bleeps, precisely arranged snares and drum hits, but as it builds, delirious synth spiral in a maddeningly intricate manner.

‘Empirical Test Vol. I - VA’, our very first release, it’s finally out. Let us show you our minimalistic sonic lab. We believe in tracks for the dancefloor with an eye in experimental and introspective views of electronic music. A1. ‘Frics’ is probably the most well-known work here. Developed by Romanian talent Cojoc it has become a serious festival banger thanks to a killer bassline mixed with an aggressive synthesizer which remains a machine gun. A2. ‘Mal So Mal So’ arrives directly from Switzerland. Produced by Marques Sigi mixing spatial and analog sounds with an exquisite modular electronic sequence. The rhythm is marked by catchy kicks and swift hi hats plus some straightforward pads and effects. Classy and harmonious. B1. ‘Space Runner’ involves Angel Mosteiro and Joel Vazquez —part of Bohrium crew— premiering his first production as Akela. In this track the duo propose breaky atmospheres, rhythmic movements full of textures in a complete sequence of energetic synthesizers. The melody makes you traveling into a sonic, organic and hypnotic deepness. B2. ‘The Muggles’ by Panamanian producer Avidel proposes a playful, funny and easygoing track. After a busy Summer on the road, South London's Silverlining returns to his home-grown imprint for the tenth release on his cult series.
The EP opens with his sublime 2019 remix of Arctor and Jay Hill, previously unrleased on vinyl.
On the flip are two reissues: the first of his 1998 remix of Ravi McArthur from Reverberations; and a Detroit-inspired electro track written at the tender age of 19 back in 1995 under his early Spook in the House guise.

The latest drop on Aesthetic comes from Gruia, a Romanian producer with serious credentials thanks to his recent appearance on Sonet. "Neutron Starlet" is a trippy, playful minimal tech house workout with zippy sounds darting all over the mix. "Din Eter" gets into a more pronounced swing, and uses a sustained pad to create an ethereal mood that should inject some spiritual energy into the party. "Jalea Viului" keeps things steady and rolling, but there's still space for flamboyant FX buried in the mix. "Un Vechi Inceput" finishes the record off on a tense note, using minor keys to keep you on your toes without slouching on those all-important wiggles and squiggles to keep things funky.

San Francisco’s Manjumasi makes its first foray into wax with the vinyl-only release of History Ate Itself by San Francisco producer and label alumnus R. Fentz. First up on the A-side is the title track - a complex and textured piece, full of intricate percussion and sonic detail. The track evokes a sense of journey, with synth pads building and working through stages of crescendo and release. A percussive, punchy bassline holds steady throughout, giving a sense of time pushing ever-forwards.


Next up on the AA is Glitter, a more light-hearted number with a friendly and inquisitive disposition. As a counterpoint to the urgency and insistence of History, here R. Fentz uses delicate, gentle touches to create an inviting, warm atmosphere. The bubbly groove has a delightfully playful bounce that washes over the listener, with sparkling synth details float over the silky groove as the track works its way forward.

On the flip side, Ukrainian producer Silat Beksi takes on remix duties and delivers a supremely heady and tasteful reworking of Glitter. His version builds a soft bed of pads over a punchy groove. A very tasty dub-filtered synth groove slowly works its way into the mix. The result is a complex and organic sonic tapestry with no shortage of sparkle and shine, but plenty of subterranean depth. Yet another extremely solid offering in this sought-after producer’s vinyl-only catalog.

Longstanding series Afterhours. unveils its debut vinyl record, as they tap Romanian underground producer RQZ for EP ’Sublevels’.

Following lauded releases for Modeight, Mr KS & Friends and Unic, the Club Midi resident cuts deep with his signature sound, plying dark hues and warped basslines to maximum effect.

Back with another instalment from the mysterious TZU imprint. Following in the footsteps of previous releases, this release looks to bring 4 upfront underground cuts but this time adding some vocal flavour. Their debut release sees Unic call on local Australian talent & modular specialist Venda. Having recently received rave reviews for his ‘Ovio’ Ep on Modeight Records, the Sydney based producer hits his stride across 3 riveting slices of minimal, lacing them with eerie vocals and trippy pensive flourishes.

Daniel Sanchez is back to Bad Barbie with an astonishing four track release named Kaddara EP. On the A Side we have Bara Groove first, a fantastic Live Jam session that express nothing else than the creativity, soul and talent of Daniel Sanchez as DJ/Producer. This track presents a superb and sophisticated groove that can easily ignite the crowd at any dance floor with its energy and vibe. As a second track from this side we have Slick Thin Version, which is nothing else than a great No Kick Tool that works as support for any long mix to create an especial moment of tension during the blend of two or more tracks at the same time. Over the B Side we have Dusty MicroHead as first, which is beautiful long run of pure micro-house with a subtle hypnotic vibe that slowly evolves into a fantastic sonic experience with a stunning low-end work. And for last is Spacey, a Dub infused track extracts sounds from intricated resonances, synths and intriguing vocal reflections immersed in strong atmospheric reverbs. A truly master piece from Daniel that shows the true versatility of this Amsterdam based legend.

The ‘Leo’s Landed’ EP - the 17th release in Lefback’s burgeoning discography - kicks off with ‘Flipside Flute’, a gloriously wonky and unusual cut that’s sure to appeal to DJs reading for something different from their bag. The title track is another that showcases the producer’s knack for unconventional wares. A relentless, grinding, atmospheric track full of weighty bass kicks and off-kilter piano lines, it’s a stifling, unconventional track that will sound at its best when the night is at its strangest point.

The B side gets underway thanks to the cowbell heavy strands of ‘Perc’. Dramatic, eerie and sparse, it’s another rugged cut on display, with its shuffling beats and many relentless emphasis meaning it’s sure to make an impression in any set it finds a home in. It’s then left to the swagger of ‘Real Talk’ to conclude the release. A brisk, confident-sounding, baseline-led jam featuring a sporadic female vocal and some brilliant 8-bit sounds, it’s unlike anything else on show here, but it too is designed to create a bit of a stir. Somehow, the two Croats always make the right combination of rocking house grooves with funky Frickelsound treasures, which they gather at the wayside. Die 12'' war erstmals 2014 in die Läden gekommen. Der Titelsong beginnt mit einem "sehr subtilen Set von Melodien, welches sich fast gänzlich ohne Überzeugung wiederholt, um dann schrittweise einer riesigen Collage an Farbe und Kraft Platz zu machen", um es mit Wests Worten auszudrücken. Indem es sich nicht auf einen konventionellen Beat verlässt, ist dieses Stück ein erstklassiges Beispiel dafür, wie ein analoger Synthesizer die Kraft und das Moment einer ganzen Rhythmusgruppe erschaffen kann.

Von den verzerrten Wellen in "3 Chords", gleichermaßen wachsend und schrumpfend, bis hin zu den sich kontinuierlich beschleunigenden und verlangsamenden, rhythmischen Wellen in "Recovery", bilden der Moog Voyager, Prophet und ein altes Bandverzögerungsgerät den Kernsound der EP. Taking influence from techno kings like Underground Resistance, Yakine rolls out four interlinked pieces of cosmic electronica, created with an old Roland R8, modular synths and a whole heap of analogue effects, which all form part of a journey into the stars and beyond...

»KAMILHAN; il y a péril en la demeure« is the conclusion of a 5-part cycle of works by artist Grischa Lichtenberger which was initiated with the album »LA DEMEURE; il y a péril en la demeure« in 2015 and continued with the triple EP release »Spielraum, Allgegenwart, Strahlung« in 2016. In addition to the concept of „demeure“, ones residence as a symbol for the joy and artistic possibilities one can find in isolation, Lichtenberger places a further emphasis on the expression of the voice, represented by the word „Kamilhan“. „Kamilhan“ is a non-existent word, an expression that Ernst Bloch once mentioned in an anecdote about his childhood. Fascinated by its sound but without knowing its meaning, it remained vivid in his memory in its purely „material“ form. Lichtenberger also refers to this childish perception of language. Words that we do not know, but repeat in our thoughts until they become insignificant. Lyrics in a foreign language that we do not understand and still sing along and imitate. With computer-generated voices, Lichtenberger tries to reproduce these experiences. In his tracks we hear syllables and phrases that are similar to words and that seem familiar to us, but whose meaning remains a secret. As on the previous album, the tracks on »KAMILHAN« are constantly torn apart and reassembled. Borrowings from hip-hop and even pop are unmistakable, desired, and yet delusive. Rhythms that are repeatedly broken in order to re-organize themselves into new temporal patterns. Melodies that are pierced by precisely these intricate rhythms. Voices that lack any empathy due to their artificiality. Lichtenberger himself describes these tracks as „crooked ballads“, which, by deliberately following classic pop song structures, try to sell us the absurd as the normal, and in turn smuggle some hope of recognition into the absurd. »KAMILHAN; il y a péril en la demeure« will be released on May 08, 2020 on CD and as a limited double vinyl edition including a handmade and signed silkscreen print.

For the first release of 2020 Banoffee Pies Records introduce "Black Label Series 04" while welcoming another selection of new artists to the fold with a collection of low slung moody tech house for mornings and dusted dance floors.

Opening the releaseBernard Horn's "Ticket 2 Tomar" flaunts a Britney Spears sample to kick the mood off with a drum heavy broken beat full of fluttering synths and spooked out shivers. The A2 comes from friend of the label, and producer of the minute,Alec Falconer, with his tribute track "Hiero". A misted journey along the shore line or across the water showing a short taster of the more sub heavy productions he's known for seen across the likes of Entity or other Garage aliases with a clean 4/4 night drive.

Following his outstanding contribution to Holding Hands Records at the end of 2019 in collaboration with Banoffee mainstay producer Gallegos, Baby Rollen kicks off the B side with an acid infused travel rhythm encompassing the Ecco and aquatic feel using sonar like underwater snippets in "Swimming With Dolphins". The last track comes from Tito Mazzetta and Isai with "Red Bali Tunnel" in true Black Label style. A moving house beat perfect for dusk or dawn creating some semblance of order to round off the dream like states delivered across the release. For slow moving and shaking.
