unique trax 003 is in charge of an artist who does not need introduction, the Russian tripmastaz gives us two strong pieces for the dance floor plus a remix with housy sensations by ariel rodz.

With credits on the likes of Bass Culture, Cocoon, Cadenza, Cocoon and Yoyaku in his locker, Russian DJ/producer Tripmastaz is about to enter the next phase in his much-respected career thanks to a recent move to Berlin. Currently working in the studio with Ricardo Villalobos, he has also released a string of collaborations alongside DJ Sneak on the likes of Kwench, Rawthentic and Hot Trax. Now, he’s taken the collab process one step further, siding up here with Alexkid, Cesar Merveille and Howl Ensemble for the debut release on his appropriately named call_lab label. Featuring handmade artwork by St.Petersburg based graphic artist mojo_monsta, it’s another example of the Plant 74 label owner’s consistent penchant for high class house and techno.



Up first is Tripmastaz’s collab with Alexkid, ‘Catch 33’. Alexkid is another producer who’s enjoyed a great run of form, and on this one both musicians triumph courtesy of an original cut that’s notable for its weighty, dubby vibes and repetitive flair. A groaning, atmosphere-heavy cut, it gets us underway with some distinction.



Up next is ‘Worship’, which this time around sees Tripmastaz team up with sometime Cadenza man, Cesare Merveille. A track that’s definitely been made with early morning sessions in mind, this one calls on the spirit of Detroit in no uncertain fashion. Banging but with a soft, deep and meandering current at its core, it’s a fantastic example of how to bridge contrasting sounds.



The last of the tracks on show is ‘Mayday’, which this time around sees Tripmastaz showcase his more gritty side alongside Howl Ensemble. A trippy, whimsical cut that’s every bit as colourful as the day its named after, it closes the release with a dexterous skill that’s abundant throughout. With releases forthcoming on Bass Culture, Berg Audio, Cuttin Headz and Ovum, 2019 looks set to be a pivotal year for Tripmastaz.

Apparel Tronic comes back after the heat of summer introducing the first V/A on the catalogue as well as its 10th release overall (Varioustronic 1). This 3 tracks V/A is an ambitious project that unites 3 great artists with diverse approaches to music production, 3 different minds and visions, 3 declination of the same verb brought together under the same roof, our roof. We always like to experiment, to try and push our boundaries over again in everything we do and surely this is an organic evolution to the so-called "Bliss-Beat": the identificative concept behind our ideas. The 3 producers we chose, Anton Kubikov, Artizhan & Tommy Vicari Jr. need no introduction so we're simply grateful to them for their availability to huddle up and create some great music for one cause and it's surprising how the three tracks, colliding, offer different but likeminded perspectives, like fragmenting planets creating new ones. Hailing from Ibiza, Beeyou makes its first outing as a label with a strong selection of up and coming talent. Laidlaw is first on the scene with a crafty little minimal number that certainly sounds tailored to the up all night crew with its heady atmosphere, playful swing and micro samples. Ben Ulrich's "Bedun" is equally seductive, playing a trade in stripped down electro that shuns obvious dancefloor moves in favour of pure hypnotism. Kesh holds down the B-side with two more maximal offerings that still align with the inventive, sleek aesthetics of the A-side tracks. "Enebodiom" is a feel good jam without ever resorting to cheesy melodies or vocal touches - it's a jazzed out variation on positivity in house music. "We Love You Michael" completes the record with a quintessential skittering, swinging house cut that keeps the freakiness in abundance and the drums as funky as possible.

A hand stamped, limited vinyl pressing which demonstrates the artist’s ability to create intricate, subtle music that intrigues whilst still moving dance floors.

Over just a couple of releases Kristjan Kroupa has developed a sound which is both singular and versatile, taking in elements on house, techno and minimal without ever really being any one alone. Initiation Rituals sees him take his deepest exploration into the deep, dark, club music which he is becoming recognised for.

A record of detailed, percussive sounds, the release sees Alleged Witches present a package of sounds which is clearly inspired by his fascination with the occult, the strange and the sinister as his name might suggest.

Alexander Gentil is as polished at compiling his futuristic sounds and unique fresh vision into tracks that leave listeners yearning for more. Hamid promises a fresh spin from Arria's second solid release, Flashlight Remembrance, each of the three tracks containing delightful surprises that buck listener expectations.
Nothing spells out his use of contrast & spontaneity like FLSHR 1, both in the way the track is built and the unfamiliar elements interaction. The second release of the relatively newborn, Berlin-based Italian label Autarchy Records offers yet another various artists release, as for the first output, the label gives light to Autre and D Roots - both producers are near to the label - and invites relevant figures of the scene to reinterpret the original tracks, specifically Hiver and Juju & Jordash.

AU002 starts with a banging tune by Autre, a slow crescendo that turns right into an emotional synth parade - Autre is a Berlin-based Italian house DJ/producer, who recently released on XDB's Metrolux. Dekmantel affiliates Juju & Jordash rethink the 'Prima' track, revisiting Autre's dreamy concept adding some industrial-ish elements.

A whole different scenario appears when you flip the record on the B-side. Deep house Italian rising talent D_Roots drops a nostalgic flavour with the house-oriented 'ASMR', anticipating a solid, colourful closure of the EP which see Hiver's rework of the track, a yardstick that rounds things off just to the beginning of the A-side.

Roya is project of Sohrab Karimi (Ahu) and Rasul Gafarov (Lenta) presenting the live recordings the two made as they met in studio during two different summers. All tracks are extracts from long jam sessions in which they played previsouly released & unreleased material live and with no rehearsal at all. In fact, Siah Mashq itself means rehearsal or practice.

After a quick sold-out of the first Colors of Crocus release with a remix from Alex Pervukhin, our label invites him once again. This time for a solo EP. Three house jams that Laconica’s owner made with his analogue setup (Oberheim Matrix, Alpha Juno, MPC, etc.) are dancefloor ready cuts for every moment.

Most recently Jacek Sienkiewicz had been mainly preoccupied with with experimental music - his explorations of outer limits of sound resulted in 3 albums released already in 2019, with two more to follow by the end of the year. So, It was good and perhaps refreshing to hear his surprising return to the dancefloor with "Lightin", an unexpected Summer afterparty anthem released digitally in June. Mikio Kenzo EP marks the second release from Lee Clarke's Tahanan imprint and the first vinyl release. Following on from
Sek's Drunk Yoga EP, the second instalment delivers two original tracks Mikio Kenzo and Mind Control as well as two remixes from rising deep house producer James Benedict and Forward Education's tech house master The Wheel Man.

Mikio Kenzo, a dance floor roller with a deep yet funky sound, coupled with nice looping pads full of energy. James Benedict's remix continues that trend with a similar sound you'd expect from Lost My Dog or Large Music. The Wheel Man offers a deeper sound, fit for bigger sound systems.

Up first on the EP comes splendid "Copper". A pure 909 detroit funky work out and a
dancefloor-filler at its best. With his name kind of a bow to the originators and the
vinyl history. Waiting for the drop business.

The second tune "Memories" is harder and darker. It comes with a huge atmosphere.
You can see a dark room with just a strobe and fog in front of you.

Last one is the title track "Akira". Its more experimental with a broken beat and a vibe
which feels like a walk through Chernobyl. One for the heads.

CULT-02 sees the second VA release from Cultura Records. This time around the collective has sourced tracks from Crisna, Greg Brockmann, Tommy Vicari Jnr and BRYZ to bring together a nicely balanced slab!

Aaaron continues his journey through mystic synthesis with his 5th ep for connected , “Cosmic Soul”. It seems with each release he gathers more depth to his music and minimises his style and production to naked artwork in sound where each instrument has its space for the the listeners imagination. Abstract yet magnetic , tribal and futuristic. Sink in the shadows and rise on the waves.

1.COSMIC SOUL A rhythm section playing robotic funk against an esoteric drone meets a melancholic piano refrain and pleading vocal monotones that go dubwise. The landscape of the track rises and falls to a vocal and piano breakdown with electronic flutes piping in the distance , peppered with percussive stabs throughout as the emotive waves surge to find earth. Quite beautiful. 2.MERCY Synthetic textures reminiscent of Blade Runner 2049 form a backdrop for a skeletal drum figure, as soft Kraftwerk like notes filter in and out and a skinny sequencer drifts across the track like crosstown traffic. A vocoder pulse and dreamy synth horns hold the scene in the shade of a hot sunny day as the city flies by in stop motion. 3.ITS NOT OVER Imagine a classical symphony based on 2 or 3 chords , revolving and hypnotising by its simplicity and gradually rising in sonic temperature. Set against a drumscape of toms and unnaturally pitched and distorted snares and phasing plastic synth percussion like a drifting cloud of locusts. The vocal “Its not over between you and me” is haunting and irresistible and the song draws you in, mystified by its simplicity . Devoid of frills , cold and heartbroken yet the embers of passion still glow. Innocently executed , Aaaron at his futuristic high.

This is the first release of the new Techno label based in Ibiza called MuM, with his wellknowned nature MuM is one of the favorites partys in the Winter calendar of Eivissa/Ibiza and now lauches her homonym label.

For this beginning Ep introduces one of the most sucessfully artist of the pressent Romanian Scene, Xandru. In this Talma 22 EP give three tracks, from a clasical Piano Techno tune to a complicated textures version of the best house.

Emerging Italian label Castenea Records has been on a rich vein of form of late. Spurred on by quality signings a la Pressure Point, TC80 and OdD Music, they've quickly won the hearts and minds of numerous similarly-inclined artists. Their latest is a case in point. Coming at us from Modbox aka Patrizio Restelli, it features three originals from the man in question as well as a remix from one of minimal techno's most exciting new acts, the inimitable Topper.
Kicking off the sounds of 'The Science Behind First Impression' EP is 'Halo Effect'. A heads-down, zippy track that conjures up images of a hazy Villalobos and Zip after-hours session, it's made up of but a few parts but still manages to force a distinct

impression. An auspicious beginning, it wonderfully sets the mood for Topper's reinterpretation. Imbued with slightly more colour than its predecessor, its gradually warmer remix acts as the perfect foil to the sounds of the original.

The B side gets underway soon after with 'First Impression'. Opener 'Something' it's a true house weapon where funky swinging snare drums carry the track from start to finish. Melodic pads go on and off, while catchy female vocal shots create an amazing atmosphere upon a serious shaking-groovy beat which is impossible to not move with.

A2 'Ballad Of The Bubblegum Kid' is a solid tech house tune with some splashes of UK raw and garage moods. The powerful and boosted bassline takes control of the track and perfectly fits with sharp hi-hats, delayed chant, and housy chords.
On the flip, 'Subterranean' is another quality tune with intricate rhythmical sections and gorgeous vocal samples bringing back some early house feelings. This one is about claps, snares and a blizzard of hi-hats and tiny panned percussions all wrap around each other into a kinetic jam, turning throughout to bring plenty of good vibes to the driving groove.
Closing the affairs is the deeper and more intimate 'Mindbowl' - a joyful deep house tune with dreamy chords and pads, perfect as an opening tool or late after-hours moments.

Four futuristic Chicago-influenced house cuts from Liou for his Finest Hour debut.

Manifested in Berlin‘s iconic club scene, Michal Zietara and Oskar Szafraniec quickly developed a friendship through their mutual passion for all things in electronic music.

After several b2b DJ sets across Berlin and Poland came about a time to put two musically talented heads together and work in the studio.

This first and not last EP from the newly formed
Loser Records in Berlin is a modern reconfiguration of minimal inspired voice of stripped back house music. A spiritual and bracing energy of active percussion throug- hout, ties in the „less is more“ repertoire without the clichés and all the originality.

London based label and party Butter Side Up follow-up a sold out debut release from Christian Jay with another helping of atmospheric house music, this time from Leeds based rising star Midge Thompson. The long time BSU associate serves up three tracks that are complemented with a rare remix from the legendary Titonton Duvante.

Opener 'Destination 2242' is a slick and spaced out broken beat groover. Sci-fi motifs wither next to a sprinkling of garage percussion and rubbery drum programming is brilliantly loose and body popping. 'Delta' gets even deeper, with skeletal drums knocking out an infectious late-night rhythm while dreamy pads flesh things out. Spacecrafts drift in the background to add some cinematic stylings and make it perfect for the more close-knit dance floors.

On the flip, 'Beeston Lights' picks up the pace with perfectly rolling kicks pulling you in as keys twinkle up top like a distant metropolis at night. It's smooth and breezy house music to carry you away on a blissful vibe. Remixing is Titonton Duvante, a long time influence on the Butter Side Up crew and a cult figure in heady house circles thanks to definitive work on his own Residual Recordings, Mosaic and many others. His chunky take on techno is hard to beat, as proven here with a remix that re-works the drums into busy, restless things that work the feet while the Americans's typically ethereal pads bring real depth.

Description: The silence is over! GummiHz is back on the release front! A dedicated frequency explorer, GummiHz follows a phylosophy that making music should always be adventurous, interesting and fun. For this reason, he has dedicated the last couple of years in rebuilding his studio setup and now it is time to share the fruits of this expedition.

"Groove is in the Hertz" includes a selection of recordings, showcasing the perspective of GummiHz on minimal house and techno. The series is split into parts with part one featuring two minimal cuts. "Aerini", on side A, offers eleven and a half minutes of miinimal techno bliss. Anthemic voices combined with live recordings set a balearic atmosphere, while sitting elegantly on top of finely programmed rhythmics and basslines. Flip it over and "Out Out" brings out even more rhythm to the game

Taking inspiration from a vast musical sphere, the Munich-Vienna pair Jorkes are widely recognised for their open-minded and passionate approach to electronic music which is translated through their Freeride Millenium imprint and own unique productions. ‘Cross The Line’ will be the duo’s first outing since 2016 seeing them join up with the Italian pair Hard Ton who are known for releases on Wonder Stories, Luv Shack Records, Toy Tonics and many more. Jorkes invite Live At Robert Johnson artist Massimiliano Pagliara and Philpot founder SoulPhiction aka Jackmate for remix duties which tops off this distinctive release highlighting the openness and sensibility of their musical philosophy.
‘Cross The Line’ begins the EP with alleviating pads balanced harmoniously with alluring, heart-warming vocals and gentle keys drifting throughout before Massimiliano Pagliara delivers an infectious remix focusing on hypnotic bass grooves, effervescent drums and undulating pads fluttering naturally with the stirring modulations.
‘Jackmate’s Dub Mix’ deploys low-riding resonations fused with muffled tones and thrilling, shuffling rhythms within whereas ‘Jackmate’s 90s Mix’ focuses heavily on organic percussion rolling throughout with robust musical elements and looping vocals. SoulPhiction’s ’Dub Mix’ completes the pack with a tranquil take on the original laying focus on funk-infused instrumentals and subdued jazz drums.

Gianluca Rattalino with his first vinyl release wants to present the freshness and elegance that his sound represents.
