SlapFunk Records turns 7 this year and with all celebration comes a slick release as well. For this one we invited some familiar faces like SE62, Ferro, Malin Genie, Lopaski but also usual suspects William Caycedo and Pascal Benjamin delivered the rawness. Last but not least our brothers Ingi Visions (Samuel Deep & Julian Alexander) and JAMM (Julian Alexander & Mauro Moreno) finishing the line up. Ahhhh the joys of creating a new label! I have started Holding Hands Again to bring to light some records from the past that I adore and think should be made more widely available so that everyone can slam them in the club.

Wiggle is a label that I hold very dear to my heart. It doesn't need an introduction but suffice to say I play and love a lot of records off this classic label. A Long Weight by Timmy S & JB is probably my favourite release on there and so I am ultra buzzing to be able to announce that it will be the inaugural release on my new imprint.

In my opinion it really sums up the classic Wiggle sound. Squiggly wiggly synths, skittering pacey drums and weird FX. These tracks have been doing the business for over twenty years and I fully expect them to continue to do so for many more decades to come.

This re release has been freshly remastered for maximum boost and it comes with a new acid mix that the guys found when they were looking through their old DATs. Tasty.

Fun Records comes back with its 7th release featuring label bosses Barem & Cabri (A.K.A. Alexis Cabrera). Focusing mainly on the late dancefloor times and afterhours, this combo of three different titleless tracks is set to welcome the red and yellow autumn leaves with a lot of warm sounds, funky basslines and calculated melancholy. This way the Argentinean born and raised duo explores another palette of sounds and intensity than in their previous release on the label, while not losing their main essence and distinctive vibe.

Another Van, the label head of Ran Music’s sub-label Ran Groove, is releasing his debut EP “ The Night Is Yours” (RGV010-12) on his own label which includes 6 tracks rang-ing from Acid House to Minimal that he created between 2015-2017 in Beijing and Shanghai, performed and recorded all at once using his hardware live set-up. The immortal acid sound and minimalist groove are his forever loves. In 3 years the time, locations, and people kept changing, and all the memories of his life experiences are being mixed and melted into these 6 musical stories.

The EP name “The Night Is Yours” is inspired by a billboard which says “The World Is Yours” in the movie “Scarface”. Another Van believes that the night never belongs to anyone, the night is itself an eternal DJ, and this EP is full of tracks that touch you the most before sunrise.

We cannot be more identified with this, and hope you can enjoy our humble musical efforts. The BUDARE has their roots in the deeper lands of Venezuela, but is developed and created for the global community.

For the latest 12" on his self-titled label, Malin Genie teams up with Swedish producer Per Hammar for a sturdy four-tracker that shows off the duo's knack for crafty, rolling house music. "Lijnbaan Dubb" has a full spread of rich synthetics propelling it forward through a subtly dubbed landscape of nocturnal atmospherics, while "Fosie" needles in on crooked sound design for a playful, minimal trip-out. "Scania" has a more rattling, techno-minded framework to carry liquid shimmers of chords, and then Samuel Andre Madson comes on board for a remix that injects a little old-skool Chicago romanticism into "Scania."

After the successful PIVLIM001 it's time to reveal the next release.

Chris Stussy makes his debut on the Limited series and delivers a quality 4 track EP including the long-awaited Speak'. The warm and deep chords plus Speaking' vocal on the A1 Chris gives you his vision of house music.

A2 Deep Innocence' is a deep groovy track with a rolling bassline and swinging drums that works perfectly as warm up.

On the B-flip Parisian Djebali gives his signature interpretation on "Speak" while Alix Alvarez delivered a deep dub on "Deep Innocence".

Limited to 200 copies, this release is the fourth of the 5 12" from the Thomas Brinkmann Retrospektiv 5xlp box set. The 5 individual 12" will be released through 2018/19. Thomas Brinkmann is one of the great producers of Techno music and modern dance music. He initially gained notoriety in the experimental electronic music and Techno community for his full-length 'variations' of material by Wolfgang Voigt under his Mike Ink moniker, and Richie Hawtin. The variations were made by playback of the original artist records on a turntable of Brinkmann's design, which has two tone arms with separate outputs for left and right channels. The turntables were then pitched down from 33rpm to 27rpm and the results recorded and mixed. Both Voigt and Hawtin were sufficiently impressed they released the results on their own labels. Since then Thomas Brinkmann has produced some all-time classic dance tracks, many of which are collected here in what is a personal selection by Thomas Brinkmann himself. There are unreleased tracks, different versions, and tracks that have never been released on vinyl.

Acid Pauli and Nico Stojan's Ouïe label acts as home for left-of-centre music from disparate sources - somehow connected by a thread of hedonism with a melancholic edge. Welcoming Kerela Dust to the imprint, this four tracker showcases the different dance floor shades the label always reaches. Kerala Dust are a London based trio that owe as much to Tom Waits as they do to Four Tet or DJ Koze, but somehow tread a fascinating line between genres and moods. Mixing jazz, indie and the sharper end of the club sound, Francesca's Frames is the perfect introduction to their vibe. 'Maria' is augmented with a thick, mid tempo kick and sparse, effective percussion. The clever vocals provide the topping - showcasing the band's pop writing prowess. The track will appear as a single release on 6th Aprila accompanied by a music video. Acid Pauli and Nico Stojan's remix picks up the pace a little, while dubbing out the elements into deep, late night dance exploration. 'Nyla' brings a new vibe, deep, pulsing synths and a bubbling baseline accompany the crisp, compressed rhythm track before Ed's iconic croon arrives to take the track to a new level.

When they felt that the world around them became a place too chaotic to live, they knew that nature and music where there to calm their spirits and bring a sense for living. They are a musical trio who named themselves Lisiere Collectif in order to bring an ovation to what brought Bogdan Ardeleanu, Andu Simion, and Dan Gheorghe together. A minimalist and well controlled style is their productions' main characteristic, just like the movement of natural elements in the wind's blow. Although the project was born in the suburbs of Ploiesti City, their tunes travel through souls of many techno passionate people around the world.

Third Stream is the new project developed by Alex Font and it is dedicated specially for the real diggers. This record hardly has any promotion in order to preserve the music to those who invest buying the music and dig deeply. No promo pools, no SoundCloud, no Facebook fan page or shit like that. We could call this a true only vinyl record with JUST 150 copies.

Seeking new and unforgetable ways to express ourselves is the main serving of this course.
First dish and last of this EP - Giash serves the 6th platter of the Why So Series menu, spiced and salted with all the right ingredients for each and every table.
Starting of with the A1 entree, "Meie", which is riddled with Detroit heavy influences ranging from the omnipresent pads and morning dew details, sparkling with clear headed details and drum tracks which morph into a more stripped down structure which rests underneath the bedrock of the whole landscape.
Beyond that we have the intermezzo B1 "Sailere", a more clairvoyant excursion into the more harmonious aspects of minimalistic perfection, keeping true to the artists intentions and executing with precise accuracy the melodic afterthoughts of the ephemeral.
At the very end we're left with B2, "Eeder", the more introspective and "grow to love me" side of the dish. A melancholic and heavy set relief of the persona which is Giash, a Hungarian fellow which is new but at the same time so familiar to our cause, a true believer and relatable idiom which we all can identify with.

Late August will see B.SOUL Music Limited release the various artists package 'Thanks 4
Nothin'', a four-track vinyl only release from the Tuscan imprint.
Marcos Baiano's B.SOUL imprint was launched in 2013 and across its back catalogue has
welcomed an array of classic and contemporary talents onto its roster from House legend Jovonn
through to Music For Freaks co-founder Justin Harris and Parisian producer Terence :Terry. Here
we see the label push on with its second vinyl release set to be released via its Ltd offshoot and
offered up as a various artist four track package.
Bosconi Soundsystem artist Rufus takes the lead on the release with 'Realize Dis' with classic
house tropes, employing a bumpy swinging rhythm as the foundation whilst murky pad swells and
spoken word vocals ebb and flow throughout the composition. Label-head Marcos Baiano follows
with 'Nullll', stripping things back to shuffled hats and wandering rave stabs before the latter stages
introduce a warm ethereal pad.
Opening up the flip side is Retro Activity aka Ivan Iacobucci's 'Rocket' edging things into Techno
territory with weighty drums, mind bending synth flutters and an ever-unfolding, billowing
atmosphere. DRMC's 'Do Not Disturb' then closes the package on a minimal tip with modulating
percussion, minute organic drum shots and airy pad lines laid out over its seven and a half
minutes.

'Neverending Story' opens with 'A Dimension Reflected' and its introductory mixture of keys and beats. The beat is built upon piece by piece, while slippery synths fill in the upper registers. The second track, 'Planet Texture', opens with a blossoming pad which is soon joined by a steady kick and some bouncing synths. Before long an adventurous bassline joins in and puts the track into full groove mode. There's a twinkling synth floating above it all, sometimes present, sometimes not, making you wonder if you're really hearing it at all.

Next up is the first track on the B-side, 'Old Problems'. Filled with little samples and microsounds, the track uses its beat to push through heady and sometimes disorientating array of colours that swirl across the track. A wide synth enters affairs a third of the way in and helps push the track out onto the dancefloor. 'Neverending Story' comes next, featuring a skittering beat and atmospherics that seem to come from far away. A low bassline pops in and out of the track here and there, while pondersome some keys complete the mood.

The EP closes with 'Algorithm', another scrambled, unpredictable track. The track opens with a rainbow of keys and synths, darting between your ears in their affected manner. An almost glitchy ambient track, it brings to a calm close a fantastic release.

After a successful release on Eastenderz, viceversa returns to his own imprint for another great release. Support comes from the likes of Raresh, Enzo Siragusa and East End Dubs. Limited numbers in. Not to be missed

Diogo's meticulous arrangements and idiosyncratic approach to electronic music have made him shine over the last years as one of the youngest and most promising talents rising from Portugal.

'Tanto Amor' is a 2-tracker EP of expansive excursions rich in detail, expansive low-ends, and rhythmic structure, and not only is this his solo debut on Pluie/Noir, it's also a warm and welcome comeback for the imprint after a long hiatus period.

'Tanto Amor' (A) is a haunting composition of marching drums and crisp hi-hats, but its ever-mutating melodic arrangement, along with Alba's hypnosis-inducing vocal tricks, creates a wide dynamic spectrum of sound capable of filling any type of sonic space.

The flip-side 'Wasame' (B) adopts a freestyle, delirium-inducing approach where wacky minimalism and repetition do all the mind-tricks. Elements communicate and move in a very liquid, organic way yet never losing the drive, giving the overall palette a slightly jazzy, improvisational tone.

The EP's artwork also sees a debut of another Portuguese talent, Pics of You, using solely analog photography as his tool of expression, fitting to this installment of an ever-strengthening series of releases Pluie/Noir collectors were missing. Limited Pressings.

Fresh from her last release which featured an essential remix from Ricardo Villolobos,
Russian artist Julia Govor is back with three more great tracks on the ever excellent
Rhythm Cult.

Julia has come a long way since playing in a military band and is now a foremost house
and techno name who has released on labels like Cocoon, Hypertone and Second
State. She can also be found rocking crowds at the likes of Awakenings, Time Warp,
ADE & Sonar often alongside Richie Hawtin, with the core of her sound built around
an emotional truth, depth and devotion to seductive rhythms.

Opening the EP is the immediately absorbing 'United', a deep electronic house tune
with a warm bed of crisp, driving beats overlaid with acid twitches and dry claps. It
really locks you in and some female musings add a pensive air.

Next is the equally excellent 'Morse Code,', an airy and cerebral, super deep roller that
is quick and slick and filled with eerie atmospheres. Razor sharp hi-hats cut up the
groove, ponderous and hollow bass synths add depth and the whole thing is made for
heady backrooms at 4am.

Last of all is the seductive 'Parallelepiped', a quick and clipped deep techno cut that
will get you on your toes. Distant synth patters and perfectly programmed, frictionless
drums all add up to a steamy and seductive sound.

This is a high class EP of heady house and techno that will find favour with
connoisseurs all over.

The following three-tracker release is one of those that are about to take you on a very clear ride. We will start with some tensioning and rising loops and will keep you up while the swiftly vibes are getting to you. With The first composition on A side, Alex won't give you a break - it's a one breath composition where you don't have any time for a second thought. When it looks like both chunky bass and kicks are going away - a very sharp-shaped and acidy synth will remain on the watch and will ensure the continuously driving thrill. Getting to the Second part of this side, what can we say, straight from the beginning a thick bass line makes it s introduction in order to lead you into some awakeness on a early morning on the dancefloor. Stepping into the game, Diferit on the remix for B side is bringing you a blend of both tracks u've heard before. Very rich in vibrations of different spectres and proveniences - from very clear and clean kicks to a bouncy bass line to the very zippy and zappy sounds of his unique style. Dream Keepers EP is an exquisite 3 track musical story from Alsi. The title track, Dream Keepers, blends Alsi's old progressive background and their current minimalistic approach while also setting the tone of the EP with its dark, intricate synth structure. This synth dream is continued by the A2 track, Ray, building up momentum with its heavy and ever changing bassline as we delve deeper and deeper. The B-side track, Search Plus, reinforces the eclecticism of the release with its structure and deep house musical aesthetics layered upon a heavy rumbly bassline.

Fun Records is proud to present the first various artists release of its catalog. A combination of long time like-minded friends that have been collaborating in many ways for over a decade.

The journey begins with Jorge Savoretti's 'Brau Li'. A club banger that pushes you to dance effortlessly with a unique bass line, funky rhythm and hypnotic synth lines. One of those perfect dancefloor weapons that you can't wait to play the upcoming weekend.

Federico Molinari's 'RFL' is the second cut of the A side. A very good example of the artist's very particular sound. Lots of groove, synths that get acid for moments and various elements continuously shifting throughout the track.

The B side begins with Nekes' 'Same But Different'. Nekes is master of perfectly simple, always interesting and straight forward club tools. The kind of tracks that you can play on every set for a long time and always work. This one is no exception.

Label bosses Barem & Alexis Cabrera (under his 'Cabri' alter ego) round up the V.A. with 'Butter Hands'. Another clubby tool with a very warm driving bass line and catchy synths.

Overall a very DJ friendly compilation that will most likely stay in your bag for a long time.

Three main attributes ditinguish the fifth chapter carried on by the well known only-vinyl italian label: harmonic breaks, catchy grooves and a middle-set oriented concept. Few shades of micro-touch here and there and here you got some secret shots to drop when the dancefloor is in need for. Shout-out to Topper for his reinterpretation of A2 side, the man let his work to gently flow into the organic release without creating any feelings-gap in the middle of the listening session, and to Vern too of course to present himself at ReFace's audience in such a warm look.

Cologne is Danny Lane and Vasilios Manoudakis - a photographer and a ship captain who make songs together. Vasilios works as a boats captain in New York while Danny stays landlocked, producing tracks and hustling work as a photographer/actor in Los Angeles.
The two communicate with one another through music, sending loops and snippets from wherever they happen to be, independently writing pieces of songs that smoothly snap into
place. Throughout this, the two share a thing for synths and classic pop, creating songs that are warm, relaxed, and inescapably catchy. Though their influences range from 80s dance music to minimal house and ambient music, they see Cologne as something new and have a very pure idea of success: If people like it, we are happy.
