A new release on Keinemusik is coming up, and ‘if you want it’ might be a bit of a rhetorical question to ask. The groundwork for „Crazy For It“ came together when Rampa and Boys Noize were exploring project ideas, and it was only a matter of time until things fell into place. Jack-of-all-creative-trades Vinson stepped in, and laid down those heartfelt vocals. The production was refined exclusively within the Keinemusik circle, and was premiered live together with Vinson at Coachella, showcasing „Crazy For It“ to be the most soulful, passionate, and driving tune you’ll be dancing your heart out to this year. Chances are you might even go crazy for it.

Experience the magic of 'Fly Away,' a timeless record crafted by the exceptional vocal talent of Kimberly Brown, renowned for her work with Sounds of Blackness, Produced by Michael, this track has garnered widespread anticipation and is finally set for a full release on Sultra Records, following exclusive publishing clearance from none other than the legendary Stevie Wonder himself.

This captivating single is just a taste of what's to come from Michael's highly anticipated album, 'Optimism,' slated for release this summer. Die "French Touch Collection" ist eine Doppel-LP-Serie, die der französischen elektronischen Musikszene gewidmet ist. Beeinflusst von neuen Musikgenres wie House, Hip-Hop, Techno und den Rave-Partys, beteiligten sich Mitte der 90er Jahre mehrere französische Produzenten an der Demokratisierung der elektronischen Musik. Ahead of a full-length album coming on Glitterbox Recordings, the king of disco re-edits Dr Packer presents the second instalment of this 12' series. 'Different Strokes Part 2' features four Dr Packer versions of soulful house favourites, giving a flavour of what's to come from the LP. Kicking off with a bonafide classic, Dr Packer's take on Soulsearcher's 'Can't Get Enough!' maintains all its most iconic elements, the euphoric vocals and timeless groove given a fresh-sounding elasticity. Next up is Dr Packer's remix of The Shapeshifter's evergreen 'Lola's Theme Recut' appearing for the first time on vinyl. An exclusive to this vinyl release, a remix of Johnny Corporate's 'Sunday Shoutin'' picks up the pace with a funking bassline to suit any dynamic disco set. Rounding off this foursome of impeccable remixes is Cleptomaniacs featuring Bryan Chambers 'All I Do', a vocal house classic from the early noughties, reinterpreted masterfully for today's Glitterbox dancefloor,r which was originally featured on the label's A Disco Hï compilation. DJ Tennis expands the universe of his recent single ‘Playa Paradiso’ featuring vocals by multifaceted British artist Eliza with a deep-diving Club Mix, retooling “Playa Paradiso” into a darker, longer-burning version aimed squarely at the dance floor.
Stripping back the sun-kissed gloss of the original, the Club Mix leans into his precision production instincts; elongating the groove, tightening the rhythm, and letting the low-end shine. With the vocal weaving in and out like a guiding light through the haze, it’s a hypnotic take that trades coastal charm for heady club
elevation. A masterclass in tension and release, the Club Mix underscores DJ Tennis’s ability to balance emotional depth with dance floor functionality. The remix is a reframing of “Playa Paradiso” for the night shift: smoke-filled rooms, peak-time crescendos, and sunrise afterglows. Both versions capture different corners of the
same world, one that basks in the Balearic sun, and the other pulsing in the strobe.
Together, they mark a full-circle return for DJ Tennis’s first solo material in three years as an artist whose sonic world has always defied simple categorization.

An artist who needs no introduction, Mike Dunn returns to the legendary NYC label Nu Groove with a four-track vinyl release that brings together disparate influences from the master’s encyclopaedic knowledge of genre and style.

What results are productions that are at once timeless, a quality that can only be achieved through the lived experiences of a four-decade career. Title track ‘Git’cha House On, Baby’ is a late 80s freestyle throwback, with hard synth lines running the show, while ‘Don’t Pay Me No Mind’ is a metropolitan anthem led by a solid piano groove.

Additionally, the vinyl features two tracks from Dunn’s ‘Rock Ya Body (Deepa)’; the lead, an effortlessly cool deliverance of pure, unadulterated house, and ‘Let’cha Love Fall Down On Me’ which swells and flows with addictive ease. Elevating all four compositions are the producer’s signature vocals, immediately arresting and suitable for all genres. Dunn’s status as an innovator was earned through creating and influencing the scenes we know and love today, and this new delivery of originals further cements his status as a 100% house master.

One day early in the global lockdown, Frédéric Blais scribbled four words on a Post-It note and pinned it up in his studio. When he headed to a studio in the mountains north of Montreal to start work on his fifth album as Fred Everything, those words went with him. They would not only provide inspiration during two weeks of isolated music-making, but ultimately provide the subsequent album with its title: Love, Care, Kindness and Hope.

Those sentiments – a positive mantra during a period of personal and collective vulnerability and isolation – resonate throughout the album, a gorgeously warm and beautiful affair that counts as Blais’s most personal, musically expansive, mature and sonically detailed set to date.

While each of the tracks began as a rough sketch laid down during Blais’ retreat, they evolved considerably over the months that followed. Blais reached out to a handful of carefully selected guest vocalists and collaborators, including Stereo MC’s, Robert Owens, Sapele, James Alexander Bright, Wayne Tennant, string arranger Pete Whitfield and multi-instrumentalist Finn Peters. He also lent his voice to several tracks, a first in a career that stretches back to the 1990s.

The results are magical, with Blais not only offering subtle variations on his own trademark deep house sound, but also nods to complimentary music styles and classic electronic albums from the late ‘90s and early 2000s.

Naturally, much focus will fall on the album’s high-profile guests, whose contributions work perfectly with Blais’ cultured dancefloor electronica and soul-soaked broken house grooves. Robert Owens – “the voice of house” himself – expertly delivers lyrics full of compassion and reassurance on recent single ‘Never’, Sapele infuses ‘A Long Time Coming’ with lashings of soulful spirituality, and UK hip-hop/soul legends Stereo MC’s make their presence felt on the subtly Latin-infused dub house excellence of ‘Soul Love’.

Then there’s ‘Breathe’, where UK singer-songwriter James Alexander Bright and backing vocalist Wayne Tennant rise above punchy broken house beats, Blais’ trademark square-wave bass and Pete Whitfield’s swelling strings on ‘Breathe’. By the time kaleidoscopic, sun-down breakbeat brilliance of ‘A Good Day’ arrives to draw proceedings to a close, you’ll be overflowing with Blais’ “love, care, kindness and hope” – just as he intended.

Alleviated Records is proud to present the first of hopefully a succession of releases sharing selections from our own Archive of recordings that either have never been issued or that have never been issued on the Alleviated imprint. After many years of being ''on-the-shelf'' we are extremely pleased to share these with the public. First up, we have a selection that was being considered for the ''Another Side'' (Fingers, Inc.) album that features Ron Wilson free-styling vocals to a deep-house vibe. To this day, we are not quite sure why this selection was not included on the project but are pleased to finally share it. Next up we have ''Electronic Debris'' delivering a ''mellow-deep'' vibe. Then we have ''Saspence'' with, as the title implies, a ''mysterious-deep-minimal house'' feel. Concluding the EP is ''Nyte Light'' delivering a ''deep-ambient-acid'' flavor. We sincerely hope that you enjoy these selections at the club and at home for a long time to come. Musically Yours...
