The Melody Ep got influenced by many Deep House music,
Tech House, sun, summer and sunshine.
Adam Eve an young and talented Producer.
You hear the Influence of Berlin Tech House music.
Remixes from KlangTherapeuten and Matthias Kick were organised, who did their own interpretation and showed some other sides of the song.
'Hi... this is Adam and he makes music."

West End Communications launch their imprint with a super-limited 100 run of Obstrct's Vault EP! Big room stab-heavy techno collides with raw house and the heavier side of the London techno-bass crossover .. A killer debut!

We return to Glasgow for Optimo Trax 009. Keeping the family business going so to speak, Jasper is the son of veteran and legendary Glasgow DJ Harri. While he can't help but be inspired by his dad's 30 year plus and still-going-strong dj career and musical knowledge, Jasper is definitely not riding on anyone's coat tails and very much has his own thing going on. A very talented dj and producer in his own right, Jasper is at the forefront of the current generation of Glaswegian dance ambassadors. Flatmate of Jackmaster and receiving lots of props from Skream amongst many others, Twitch was delighted to have the opportunity to release his first record, particularly as he has literally watched Jasper grow up, with fond memories of his dad taking him into record shops before he could even walk.

On his debut EP, Jasper unleashes three cuts of his signature bump n' grind atmospheric house music, all swinging drums and heavy basslines. The ep is rounded off with a remix by his dad with the help of another Glasgow (via South Africa) stalwart, Esa, as Hillhead Young Team; It's a family affair! Bright things are assured for Mr. James.

a great clubhouse bomb with elecro elements !! killer !!!

With Dan Curtin on the 4th release, Melodymathics has undoubtedly one of the key players in the development of electronic music as we know it today. With 'deserted station' Dan Curtin is as innovative and vital as he has ever been.
This funky production, with the typical Dan Curtin edge, covers the sound of the past, the present and the future.

'I want you' the result of a collaboration between 3 Belgian talents, discovered by Melodymathics. Amtek&E-Freak ft. Mike Ekim are bringing the contemporary club sound, though remaining funky and soulful, with catchy vocals. A real dancefloor killer!

Melodymathics holds the tradition alive to indulge the vinyl dj's. This time the funky loops are provided by the mysterious Melodymann and Sjef Wanders.

Featuring CHARLOTTE LE ROUGE on vocals this is a haunting Balearic song with sparse, but tense beats. The COSMIC METAL MOTHER remix adds some sax and takes the track down to lower Manhattan with a LOUNGE LIZARDS vibe. B/w a remix by label head DENNIS KANE that brings the party vibe.

Two mixes of Mr Raoul K's opus 'Break Your Chains And Return To Botswana'. Kaito takes a step back and uses parts of Mr Raoul K's tricky beats as a rock solid base to build his soundscapes on. His mix is like the soundtrack to a movie dealing with alienated individuals who try to escape imprisonment through an endless desert. They cross this cold and dark place full of rocks with strong hearts. Stopping and hiding occasionally to avoid being seen. At last, the slowly rising sun shows them the way to freedom. Keeping their eyes fixed on the gloomy red light far away keeps their hope alive and their faith strong. Mr Raoul K's own mix takes the already beat heavy track to a whole new level by adding even more percussion. His mix illustrates the preparation of the escape. Planning, setting up decoys, be prepared to response to any move the other side takes. Timing is everything. Every unnecessary step my lead to failure. The atmosphere is dense. Hide in the shadows, take only small steps forward until you reach your goal: leave your chains behind and step out into the desert to finish your journey to freedom. Enjoy.

The new Leena is by Toronto-based Sean Miller - an artist who's previously released on some of the leading dance music labels of today: Steve Lawler's Viva Music, Satoshi Tommie's Saw Recordings, Audiofly's Supernature, Nic Fanciulli's Saved Records, 2000andOne's Area Remote and various collaborations with renowned artists.

Ju'Go presents his first Feature-EP together with Mat, a Berlin DJ and producer . "Different Moves" distinguishes itself by deep basses and instruments full of sound like saxophone or piano which operate harmoniously in the interplay together. The powerful piece of music is rounded by remixes of Oliver Schories, Melokind and Vamos Art, who also indicate the gentle side of the EP.

Spring is here and as every year arrives on time the wildest dance compilation that will make us dance on the ski slopes: SUBURBIA UNMIXED Vol.33 is all this and much more! A collection designed also for the DJ, a double CD with 20 tracks unmixed in the extended version !!! The songs from the strongest international chart in a new and unmissable number of a brand guaranteed ...

Leao is the latest project from Polish ex-pat Grzegorz Ochman, a man who now calls Manchester his home. In the time since he moved from his homeland, Grzegorz has quickly earned a reputation as a producer of some repute; chiefly courtesy of his Robot Needs Oil pseudonym. Like all great producers, however, he isn't one to shirk a challenge, and after recognising the fact that he needed to shake things up a bit, he settled on Leao as a new alias for his classic-sounding, deep house tracks.
The first outing in the new mask came in the shape of the brilliant "Level Infinity" for Artreform (available on 12" vinyl and digital download) but there's a whole host of goodies lined up for the likes of Sneak's I'm A House Gangster, Mono Recordings and now on Society 3.0 Recordings too (will be available as 12" Vinyl Maxi Single and Digital Download).

Morris Audio continue releasing UK producers and new talents. This time it's up to Illyus!
Glasgow based Illyus Brown has released on Sccucci Manucci already and now he's on Morris Audio with some sexy house tunes.

Yeah you know we like that! The b-side offers a fat remix from Morris buddy Dale Howard - yeah Dale we love BASS too!

The second remix is from Illyus' Glasgow buddies Mia Dora (they remixed Romanthony for Glasgow Underground) and is a special digital bonus.

Having emerged in the late 80s, making his indelible mark as a DJ with four residencies in London every weekend most notably at the legendary End nightclub that became his spiritual home for 14 years, Matthew was catapulted into the International circuit. Making music was always in Matthew's blood however and the artist has a phenomenal six artist albums under his belt (a seventh on the way this year) as well as over 120 remixes, and 160 tracks. Moniker Just Be is making its mark on 2012 with releases signed, sealed and delivered on Get Physical, Maison D'etre, Plus 8, and Intec Digital and with gigs at some of the best clubs and festivals on the circuit.

On "Work That Shit Party," a Fingers Inc. style rhythm buttresses a two-note riff, a crackling male voice filtering in from the ether.
A pinging keyboard zips around before that two-note flicker expands and contracts, warps and wheedles.
But around halfway in, a female vocal refrain of "Gonna work it out" breaks fat lacerations into pinholes, blaring keyboards seeping in through the gaps and crevices.
Then, as with "D117," it's the congealing of all these disparate elements: A "work it out" from Fischerspooner's Lizzy Yoder sashaying with the two-note riff, the keyboards bouncing off the ceiling, and flaring hi-hats fraying the surface played by Pat Mahoney (LCD Soundsystem). Each portion is given its due, only to make the ensuing combination that much more enthralling.

Produced and Mixed By Still Going (Eric Duncan and Liv Spencer)
Written & Performed By Liv Spencer Lyrics By Eric Duncan and Liv Spencer
Vocals By Lizzy Yoder
Hi-hats By Pat Mahoney
Engineered By Liv Spencer
Mastered By Rick Essig

Ausgabe das erste große Jubiläum feiert: about:berlin!
M-22 servieren auf ihrem Debüt - Good To Be Loved ein sommerlich zartrohes House-Carpaccio,
about:berlin vol:10 sagt Danke!
Classics. Und weil
jedes Kind einen Namen hat: Róisín Murphy, Robyn, Phonique, Justus Köhncke. Das sind 4 von 13.
Worte braucht man da nicht mehr.
