'Junto' marks Basement Jaxx's seventh studio album and the title, which translates from Spanish as together, sums up the spirit of the record and the very essence of the duo's desire to unify people with their music.

'With this album,' says Basement Jaxx's Felix, 'we wanted to do something that felt more at one with the world.' This approach is reflected in the tracklisting - 'Power To The People', 'We Are Not Alone' and 'Love Is At Your Side', as well as the uplifting 'Never Say Never' and the throwback fun of 'What's The News' and 'Sneakin' Toronto'.

On its 3rd release Casual Lab presents two new artists who contribute one track each. These two tracks are supported by two great remixes. With Mike Starr feat. Mama, Riccardo Rizza, Douglas Greed and Sven Tasnadi we go on a musical journey passing London, Italy, Jena and Leipzig. A farraginous mix that blends into something great. While "Love Away"
is more a Peak-Time Track, "Autumn Beat" invites to drift and relax. The vocals in "Love Away" come from "Mama", whose voice you could already hear on two of the last "Tiefschwarz"-Tracks. And after listening to "Autumn Beat" you will be looking forward to the next Open Air Season.

the new strictly rhythm ep part 1

Wether it is raining or the sun is shining, Popp & Popp always put you in good mood. Their frsh electronic melodies paired with the voice of a trumpet at least bring a smile to everyone's face. No matter if in a crowded club or on a big open air stage, there is no one who can resist dancing. Since two years, the young musicians are experimenting with the combination of groovy beats and impressive acoustic influences. They love to compose with other artists like saxophonists, drummers or singers.

Liverpool based Andy Ash hits the SAFT imprint with two excellent analog house jams.

The overall sound Andy comes up with, hints to the early machine driven house sounds from the late 80s on the A1 ''In Love'' whilst transitioning into the more jammy house sound Andy has been purveying on his string of latest releases on his A2 jam called ''Black Stem''.
On the B side SAFT regular ''Kastil'' provides Andy Ash's ''In Love'' with a heavy machine rework. Kastil proves he has been crafting and perfecting his production skills with some new hardware gear. This remix hold the intense feel of a 4am sweaty club session.
All and all SAFT proudly present the 5th installment in their series of pure and all round house releases.
SAFT05 will hit all well-known record shops in September, of course in the beloved 12'' format.

two very talented new faces on Dirt Crew and a beauty of a Record! Urulu who is living in Los Angeles is most known for his work on Exploited where he delivered some serious club bangers last year. More recently he also did a great EP on his own Label Amadeus and he made a great remix of a Jessie Ware track. Steve Huerta also from LA did some great work too on Amadeus, his last EP together with Prince Club is one of our faves in every set. We are extremely happy to have these 4 amazing tracks from the guys 3 on the vinyl and 1 as a Digital only Bonus Track. To top it off we asked The Revenge to Remix one oft he tracks and he dropped a serious deep techy track with an amazing bassline.

supported by: Richie Hawtin, Marco Carola, Steve Lawler, Magda, Stacey Pullen, Reboot, Karotte, Nick Curly, Kollektiv Turmstrasse, Nekes, Dan Drastic, Toni Rios, Robot Needs Oil, David Jach, Doctor Dru, Chicks Luv Us, Emanuel Satie, Einsauszwei, Steffen Deux,..

Bunte Bummler are back on mono recordings with the 2nd standalone EP on their homebase imprint called In The Now. The guys from Mannheim - Germany impressively showcase some of the new styles they're into. This EP also includes a massive Remix by the Berlin - based DJ and Producer Re.You.

After a period of absence, Killax Recordings comes back stronger on a vinyl only release (first one for the italian label) whit the participation of Noego and Marco Zampini aka Kid Mark. Funk, Jazz, and foxy samples is what you feel in 'Motherfunk'; to follow the raw notes of 'Lift', less melodic track that becomes very rough and coarse, carachterized by a more mechanic and futuristic sound.
Kid Mark's B side changes stylistic canons, whit a big room house track 'Risorgero': Roland 909, long melodies and chords; the ep ends whit the refined and smooth notes of 'Teach me', fine deep house to calm down.

Initially focused on its mission to spread left-field dance music from South America, with early appearances of the likes of Luciano and Pier Bucci, the Swiss-Chilean label is now ready to conquer the whole wide world. Under the command of the imprint's ever-energetic epicenter Dandy Jack aka Captain Deutschland, Ruta 5 Pepino Airways flight n* 5 takes off to a truly compass-defying journey: " Love and Destruction " is international, interlingual and intermedial, drawing its force from multiple global friendship bonds and family bounds. Acclaimed Swiss-Spanish composer for dance, IDM and theater music Andres Garcia delivers a tight solo ride, once again showing both his hip movement inducing capacities and inventive subtlety. On the flipside, Garcia and Dandy reunite under their common moniker John Keys, granting us an onward pushing dubbed-out space shaker with a surprising touch of 19th century french poetry. Another lyrical extravagance is proposed on the record's cover, which features a poem by chilean poet Federico Schopf, who is also Dandy Jack's father. " El amor o la destruccion " has been translated into Russian, as recent travels have evoked the son's sympathy for the countries of the former USSR. The artwork of Timur Basha, a talented young designer and DJ from Kiev, completes this holistic approach of a physical release.

Another great House selection for this serie. 12 unmixed, extended & original versions. Including Mark Knight, Weiss, Gusgus, Simone Anes, Duck Sauce,... and many more !!!!

JT Donaldson and Adam Pickrell (White Lotus Society) team up with Zimbabwean artist Hati Monetsi to create a unique work entitled 'Ceremony'. Spoken in her native tongue of Shona, Hati pens a passionate tribute to loved ones who have passed while JT and Adam frame her words with their elegant, deep musical production.

a great vocal clubhouse burner !!!

After a small hiatus Matthias Vogt and C-Rock finally got back together in the studio to present another Motorcitysoul masterpiece and convincing follow-up to last years Carry On single. The song features conspicuous vocals by the drumming singer-songwriter Phil Fill making it an eager and exhilarating confession to the playground love. The remixes of Lithuanian standout producer Mario Basanov contribute pure dancefloor magic. While the Vocal Remake offers a sentimental 80s disco feast, the Remix version is riding his distinctive Vilnius deep house vibe. A promising foretaste to Basanov's upcopming full length album "Journey".

With his debut album 'Cirque De L' Amour' things have come full circle as the eleven tracks show his wealth of variety as well as his verve for thrilling vocals. After the seething 'Intro", with the pre-released single 'When I'm With You' and 'La Vie En Rose' you fortunately step foot into the world of Stereo Express. While 'Freedom' reveals his pop affinity inclusive catchy vocals with a rolling bass and a divine electric guitar, 'Stranger' starts with a dominant kick drum. Together with label mates umami and U So Witty a longing pulsatile piece arise that develop a proper suction with its haunting synths. Sakso is Stereo Express' studio partner in crime and 'Agoria' indicates with its floating character not only an impressive climax, but that they are simply a dream team. 'All Over You' with the support of Sakso and Shimmy Timmy, who's voice already heard on the single, is a prancing track that breaths a good dose of sex appeal and desire through a funky bass guitar. While the deep bass line of 'Looking For Somebody' won't let any hip unmoved, the wonderful vocal sample of Ciara's 'Promise' evoke a delightful mood. After the good-humored 'Nasty Groove' the last track 'Cooking With Izolda' with its warm keys and voice of the Serbi

many many djs ask us for this strong dance title, deejay.de get a very limited edition !!!

This latest release comprises three originals, all infused with an evocative nostalgia. Opening with 'I Can Fly' the pair work in high-pitched synthesizers around a classic 4/4 disco beat, a wonderfully catchy filtered disco vocal hook and an acid style bass, creating a bumping 90s electro vibe with touches of hip-hop aesthetics. 'Beats Can Fly' simply strips back the vocals leaving you with penetrating raw melodies and a crisp drum beat for those wanting things a little grittier.
Closing the release is 'Talking Box', a feel-good number, featuring an electrifying synth hook that ripples through your mind, hooking you from the off. A low-end sub warbles in the background creating a slo-mo rolling groove, whilst bright piano chords lead the way. The 'less is more' approach to the composition does it justice, opting for minimal elements, yet each has a maximum effect, soundly playing off one another to create something retro, heartfelt and enviably captivating.
Miguel Campbell & Matt Hughes 'I Can Fly' EP is out on Outcross Records 04th June 2012.

Limited Red Vinyl Pressing!
For the third installment from the Wilson Records Split Grooves epic, we see the "new school" of Fabio Monesi featuring the "classic school" of the Chicago house producer Jordan Fields, a guy with a career that was shaped by the early days of breakdancing, boom-boxes, and '80s house.
Fabio Monesi's evolution into an artist of his own accord is becoming increasingly more apparent with this all out analog fatale of the old school on the A side 'Warmest Bump (Hissman mix) and Black Brother' Two cuts on fresh wax throwing down some ruthless hard hi hattin' action.
Released on a coloured vinyl, you can't say we don't spoil you.

2 original tracks plus 6 vinyl only locked grooves!
Next number on Claap and it is another special offering. For our 16th release we welcome new kid on the Berlin block Kindimmer. We have had an eye on this upcoming creative spirit in a while and everyone was buzzing at ClaapHQ when we got the tracks that Kindimmer sent over. The grooves on both tracks got us so hooked that we asked Kindimmer to produce locked grooves out of these beauties and turn this release into a locked album! On side A 'Workz on dope' is a house groove reminiscent of that MCDE aesthetic but done in Kindimmer's own and unique production attitude. Hailing from Volos its by no luck that we have nicknamed Kindimmer as Volos city drum ensemble! Next to 'Workz on dope' we have added 3 locked grooves full of elements appealing to the djs who like to work it while playing! On the flip 'The distraction of fever' has that characteristic raw detroit vibe. Dominant stabs and a serious groove full of beeef! This one is for these moments when turnng the heat up is the only way to go!

Warm and crispy as always, the third Monday Night: mixed, structured and recorded live on tape.
The whole EP is a cutting-edge merger between old school and modern, carefully crafted sounds, to forge an outstanding collection of deep house tracks with a timeless fashion.
The opening track on side A serves a gentle two-chord loop, locked with a groove beat progression, whilst track two builds up a dense swarm of rapid drums, with synthetic bursts twirling on an energetic bassline.
On the B side, a bare, rampant one note bass leads a haunting, gloomy first track, whose main theme is surrounded by recurring confused, scatterbrained vocal samples, while the second one is characterized by the simplicity of an upright, stabbing rhythm directing an emotive one note chord.
The ending track develops around a big, serious bassline, pleasantly contrasting with a succession of dreamy, floating melodies and noises.
