Release number 004 on Lokee Musik comes from long time collaborator and regular behind the decks at Lokee events Gavin Herlihy. Gavin's music has been a constant feature on some of underground house and techno's most iconic labels since 2006, and we're very excited to add him to the Lokee Musik roster. With this release Lokee Musik is going back to its roots: straight up no-nonsense house music! 'Higher', the first track on the EP, combines saturated swinging grooves with a pitched vocal to take things straight to the dancefloor. Laura Jones even shifts up a gear and turns her remix into a hypnotic rolling bassline monster for the peak-time, successfully road tested at DC-10 and Fabric. On the B-side we have 'Just Love' which shares the same chunky sound signature as the A-side, but is slightly more fluid and mellow. Rising stars Death On The Balcony take it easy and add some lush and dreamy soundscapes for their remix. All in all LOKEE004 is sure to keep you warm through the winter months.

record showcases Moire Patterns different moods and directions. "Deep down" is an excellent floor warmer, stripped down to the basics which urges you to get down!

serious heat issues on the dancefloor or even your living room! The remix on the same side comes from from Detroit's own Santonio Echols! Santonio needs no

introduction really but for history's sake, he has been releasing productions with long time friend and associate Kevin Saunderson on their Reese & Santonio project with
noumerous releases on KMS, as well as Chez Damier amongst a plethora of productions dating back to 1987! We cannot even describe how honoured we feel to
have a true Detroit legend doing the remix work for us! Santonio has notched up the mood of the original song and has come up with a classy techy mix keeping the

Picking up where 'Our Society' left off, 'Doe's Playas' and 'I Can't Understand' pursue a dusty groove led aesthetic made up of well-cut samples. Diva vocal snippets , tribal tinged beats and filtered basslines make for an irresistible feel good combination. 'Secret Agent' explores a deep techy house sound built around a playful filtered synth line and bouncey bass, primed for the dance floors.

*UK house producer XXXY has signed to Rinse for his latest release, entitled Got Me So, to be released on February 11th
*Since 2009 XXXY, aka Rupert Taylor, has released a string of 12"s through labels like Infrasonics, Well Rounded and Ten Thousand Yen that have showed off his idiosyncratic takes on UK garage and bass-driven house. His debut for Rinse picks up where they left off, with three tracks of shimmering, synth-led house music, marked out by Taylor's distinctive spiralling melodies and sampled voices.
*'Got Me So' starts slowly, opening in a quiet cascade of Casio tones and a looped vocal, before abruptly exploding with the most muscular bassline Taylor's crafted to date. Towards its end it abruptly shifts up a notch in intensity, building to a gorgeous, string-led crescendo.
*'Get Ready' has a sweetness and positivity that harks more explicitly back to speed garage, hinged around swung drums, wordless voices and hefty four-to-the-floor kicks.
*The bundle is rounded off by 'Studio 9 (Just Like That)', it's most directly house-leaning track. It's house supercharged, though, lent momentum by snares and whiplash synths that rip through the mix.

Once in a while a high quality unknown artist project emerges from out of no where. The SUPERJAMS 12 inch contains some refreshing sounds which balance on the thin line between modern day techno and house music. Hybrid sounds that could be played by any purveyor of quality deephouse or any peaktime techno DJ. Highly original sounds without any further info available.
