Two lovely House mixes produced by Frankie Knuckles and Brett Wilcotts (Gherkin Jerks). From the mid 80s era when dance music was shaken up between disco, boogie, Italo and the emerging house sounds from Chicago. Claudio Simonetti was a titan of the Italian groove, but his monster jam as Kasso, "One More Round", reached the stratosphere when Windy City godfather Frankie Knuckles gave the track his Midas touch. The Knuckles mix is already worth the pressing, but the flip side contains the overlooked 80s remix by supremo Brett Wilcots. The Chicago master is known for his Gherkin Records and lays his hands on "Walkman" to turn it up to a boogie frenzy of the highest order. Must have!

Legendary electronic music producer Orlando Voorn returns to Elypsia records with a stunning two tracker " I have you" The A side features the original version while the b side features a slightly deeper mix, all in the proper Chicago/ New York house styles. The physical version comes with a colourful artwork by graphic artist Reza Hasni and is pressed on a neon pink coloured vinyl.

The Church EP features four high-energy dancefloor tracks in the signature Bootybass style, by the one ''Swoze'' guaranteed to get everybody moving. With Westcoast and G Funky vibes throughout, this EP delivers the perfect mix of fast-paced grooves and soulful melodies that will leave you either pimpin or craving for more.

The main man returns with three typically raw and jacking cuts referencing some of the older FXHE material, and replete with the usual mad artwork skillz! A return to form for AOS, and certainly not one you want to be missing.

Producer Tony Price returns to Telephone Explosion Records with his new “MARK VI” LP, an eclectic set of songs with a distinctly late-night feel. The album features 16 tracks of oblique drum machine funk, sizzling electro dubs and freaky public access TV atmospheres that spill into the streets with the combustible energy of a late night radio dance party before dissolving into a melt of bizarro techno-surrealist jazz by album’s end.

“MARK VI” is sixth full length from Mr. Price. This stretch of albums - “I Prefer Coca Cola” (2079), “Celica Absolu” (2018), “86’d” (2019), “La Vie” (2019) and “Interview/ Discount” (2020) - is a masterclass in uncouth production techniques, genre-melding and sonic satire. His production expertise has played role in breakthrough records from the likes of U.S. Girls, Young Guv, Ice Cream, the Badge Epoque Ensemble, Miss World, and Michael Rault, on labels like 4AD, Capitol Records, Burger Records, DFA, Slumberland, Run For Cover and more. In 2017 he founded Maximum Exposure, a record label and creative services unit tasked with providing top notch knob twiddling to the musical underground of the 2020’s.

His new record is named after the 1981 Lincoln Continental Mark VI that Mr. Price purchased off of a former radio DJ and archivist towards the end of 2020. In the trunk of the car was a bag full of cassette tapes of homemade mixes and radio show recordings from the late 1980’s that featured the kinetic clank of Detroit Techno, bombastic Def Jam instrumentals, TR-808 freestyle workouts, jacked-up Chicago House and hundreds of advertisements for outmoded products and redundant services. Utilizing early samplers like the Ensoniq Mirage, various drum machines and synthesizers, Tony ventured to create an album that celebrated the unabashed eclecticism, futurism and explosive production techniques of the music and commercials he heard on those tapes.
The crude and unrefined sonic source material that “MARK VI” is built from comes embedded with sizzle, hiss and hum. The messy leakage of parallel channels, telecommunication lines and metropolitan sound matter bleeds through in the spaces between beat and bassline. Foregrounding the auditory characteristics of the machinic unconscious, “MARK VI” is a celebration of the ghostly sonic artifacts from a time just before the future ceased to feel as though it were still in front of us.

New FXHE, you know the drill. Pure belters only.

Gerry Read launches his new campaign to look at Preventing Violence Against Ears in all of its forms. In partnership with the Accidental Jnr corporation, Gerry hopes that this campaign will not just raise awareness but will actively work to prevent these alarming new practices. We urge you to take notice and to assist us by making sure that your peers, foes and family alike listen closely to this important movement. Relevant recordings have been produced and are available now via both 12' vinyl and digital mediums.

More quality from the Trax vaults. Robert Owens classic from 1986 - produced by Larry Heard/Mr. Fingers. Re mastered versions from the Traxbox compilation.

Audio restoration by Arjan Rietvink's Digital Mastering. Released in conjunction with Trax / Harmless.

The 2nd release from TABBY TRAXX is an exciting mix of acid house, jackin' house and tech house. The title track "STALKER" gets a special Chicago style acid house remix by MATTHEW BRIAN. "FLASHBACK" on the flipside pays tribute to the early days of acid house and gets a remix from label boss MIKE MAPES.

Jens Schwan, best known as the owner of the THE CLUBMAP magazine and co-founder of ZUG DER LIEBE, has been in the techno scene for 30 years now. "Frontier Reichenberger" marks his debut though when it comes to releasing records.

The title might ring a bell for some of us as it is a literal combination of a track by Underground Resistance and the old location of the Hard Wax record store in Berlin.

The record itself reminds us of classic Chicago House style music - claps, hi-hats and bass drums are neatly pumping their way into this nimbly track with its noisy attitude.

The remix delivered by Jarno Eerola is a playful deep house track, a chugging jazzy piece of music that shuffles along slightly dragged, demanding your attention with loud little surprises.

Jarno releases music under his alias Joe Le Bon and Aitokaiku and has now released three albums and various tracks on labels such as International Deejay Gigolo Records, Pro-Tez, Plastik.FM and Blumenbeat. His remix is a true evidence to his skills in the studio. On a side note, Jarno is not just a DJ and procuder, though - he is a tinkerer and a little bit crazy. He has toured conferences and festivals all over Europe and Russia, building audiovisual installations.

It’s an overall pleasure, having both Jens and Jarno releasing this piece on Dizzy Tracks and it’ll be interesting to see, whether there is more to come

* As one of Chicago's most mysterious and revered characters, the story of Gemini, aka Spencer Kincy has become something of a myth in recent years - blazing a trail throughout the 90's, prolifically releasing over 200 tracks from 1994 to 1999, Spencer's music had shades of innovation and soul few of his peers could match. Then, suddenly, at the peak of his career, he disappeared.

* Anotherday are very proud to bring you the reissue of Gemini's most complete and varied album - 1997's 'Imagine - A - Nation', originally released on Cajual subsidiary Relief. You know the music - every track is on youtube, or you have picked up one of the very expensive original pressings on discogs, but here it is, in its fully re-mastered glory!

* Rumours and gossip of Spencer's whereabouts and situation have been rife in the music press, and rarely on the money. Spencer is alive and well, and wants his music to be heard. This album has been licensed directly from him, and the money made from its exploitation will go directly to him.

The Cryovac machine is maintained and operated by A. Garcia. The components that make this machine function are the artists that push their creations forward to seal off their own vision of the now. Cryovac believes sound vibration released from vinyl has the proper disposition to express the true nature of the Cryovac approach, and only selects the best vinyl when manufacturing and inspecting its' product. Traxmen, legendary Chicago label created by the very own Robert Armani presents an exclusive capsule collection on vinyl of the artist greatest hits honoring his 30th Anniversary in the music industry.Robert Armani is a living legend and he is loved from Chicago to Belgium. It’s the ultime collection and an unique opportunity to celebrate the artist’s outstanding career.

Mostly records, the onward recordings sub-label, presents Unum Festival by Franco Cinelli, which includes two remixes made by Bs As deep. One of these versions is with his pseudonym "System T", chosen to do some works inclined to tech house and more experimental sounds sometimes.

Unum festival is an event characterized by five simple elements of life; music, sand, pines, the sea and the mountains.

The golden beach of Rana e Hedhun is where the festival will host 50 international and local acts over the course of 5 days and 4 nights.
Franco Cinelli is summoned every year to bring his music from Latin America to Albania.

Franco had a good idea in his head to print on a vinyl one of the tracks that had been Anthem in one of those events, which is also used as the official track and curtain of one of the promotional videos of Unum festival.

In "Mostly" both Bs As deep (owner) and Maxi iborquiza (owner) they had thought of including Franco in their next release. They talked about it, and presented some ideas.
This is how this project was born, proposed by Franco himself to Mostly Records.

Diego (Bs As deep)
"We thought it was a very good idea, we keep in mind the exposure of the event and that Franco is also our friend, and we know what he can offer. Franco is an icon in our country, not only as an artist, but also as an excellent person. In addition, we had already worked together on Onward Rec.

With maxi we are low profiles in the scene, we like to work and contribute our music and our imprint without being behind any fashion conditioning, that is why we opted for two completely different versions for this vinyl; influenced by the sound that we like the most, house, with very musical and instrumental overtones, and on the other hand a more intense and effective sound for the DANCE FLOOR." with several American influences.

The main track is the one that occupies the entire A side, is the original, composed by Franco Cinelli, said track is like a loop that introduces us to the rhythm and with a very attractive arrangement of vocals, what is interesting is the constancy of the track, Franco manages to keep the public's attention with productions that have a particular attraction in his beats, which maintain the groove all the time and as the track unravels, it changes little by little, to return again to that hypnotic loop that very few can achieve.

The cover art is based on the photographic images of the same event, captured by a great professional such as Bruce Wuthrich, to whom we thank and give all the credits.

There will be a limited edition of several copies for Argentina, which will contain inserts with information and photos.
We like to do that as part of an added value; In addition, the followers of the label like it and value it.

Chicago artist Justin Kay was hugely prolific in his day and world under several different nom de plume. Now some of his best work is being revisited for a series of posthumous releases. He traversed several different sound worlds with equal aplomb from bright pop to sludge metal via IDM. Under his Cosmic AC alias he manages to mix up equal parts ambient bliss with breakbeat action, raw techno and emotive house. The standouts of this Continuations album come thick and fast from the high speed jungle breaks of 'Blue Whirl' to the jazzy downtempo delights of 'Hedge Clipper' and plenty in between. See also the majestic pop serenity of closer 'WTWIRDYMTBOWSA.'

Parisian underground cult-figurehead VOIRON is next up on Glasgow's Craigie Knowes. The 4 track VOIRONZINOR EP strikes with a ferocious blend of Acid, Rave and Hardcore sounds with that signature VOIRON dusting of Gabber-esque roughness. Those with knowledge of 1980's French rave culture will catch the nod in the EP title too. A record of true heavy hitters.

Big Strick back with a BANG for the '15. 4 rolling, killer house jams in the inimitable Strick style.

Fresh for 2016, Big Strick strikes again with his new single "The Gathering." A quality mixture of Deep House and Techno!

incl. Larry Heard Remixes

Two years may seem like a very short stop gap between original release and reissue, but when the music comes at this kind of grade who's complaining? Much like his contemporaries such as Fred P and DJ Qu, Patrice Scott's take on deeper-than-deep house conjure up ambient fantasies coloured with twinkling synth lines and slowly exhaled pads. It's not all fuzzed-out bliss though, as "2000 Black" sneaks a warm and snarling bassline amidst the soothing elements around it. "Mind Rhythms" especially shines with its combination of heavy groove and intricate melodies bubbling away under the surface.

Extremely raw house and techno treasures of Kit Clayton are back on a vinyl only release!

Absolutely essential for Boo Williams, Zip and early 90s Chicago / Detroit fans!!!

NBASTWAX014 showcases a stomping joint venture by the amazing UC Beatz from Belgium and our homie Ethan from the UK. It´s a graceful and uplifting EP and their remarkable four-track debut that qualified to the soul dang legacy. NBAST Soul Selects Vol.1 wastes no time diving into it´s bouncy, soulful textures. A spiritual ride that encapsulates the feeling of being lost in music; pretty much all you need to get sucked into a hypnotic, liminal space of bewilderment and enlightenment . An elegant and tasteful take on House with a futuristic flair courtesy of lush and conventionally tuneful tracks that gonna make your soul and body bounce whenever you put the needle on. A record that will send the punters home filled with euphoric warm fuzzies.

"Never 4get EP", an EP of house tracks from KERAW (Bruce Vanderro & Lucas Moinet) made at their Studio 937 in Paris. For this release, they wanted to give back the original color of the traditional deep house sound from New Jersey with four essential-to-release tracks of theirs. "Never 4get About The Second Vibe" pays tribute to the 90's deep chords tradition with a proper hardcore deep house second vibe. On the other hand, "Until The End Of The Night" brings a deep & introspective ballad theme to the record, while "50%" and "Jersey Bass" ensure the resurrection of the early 90's traditional New Jersey sound. All tracks have been composed, recorded and produced at Studio 937 with yesterday's and today's hardware equipment. Matter of fact, Keraw never wants to forget the NY sound of deep house music foundations.

KERAW is a deep house production duo made by Lucas Moinet (Groove Boys Project) and Bruce Vanderro (aka Rawaï). This production team is the fusion between an instrumentalist and a beat maker, and became a common ground project for paying tribute to the early 90's US House sound. Their production process is mainly hardware based with an full analog recording studio and old school recording methods. Through their record collection, Lucas & Bruce fell for the NY deep house sound and co-founded the Studio 937 in 2018 as a place to create, experiment and record their music. Behind the desk, they play old school house music records in the NY tradition.
