R.A.N.D. Muzik Recordings welcomes Sydney-based producer, Mtty to the label for an EP of techy, fun house.

REVOLT hits double digits with a special release from Athenian underground veteran Other Reality—aka Alex Psaltakis—a figure deeply rooted in the rave culture of the ’90s. His journey began in the late ’80s via the Amiga demoscene, inspired by the raw energy of acid house and hardcore breakbeat. By the mid-’90s, he was DJing at raves, clubs, and open-air festivals, fueled by a passion for psychedelic trance, ambient, Goa, and experimental acid rock. His dedication to the underground has remained unwavering ever since—fed by records, synthesizers, and a deep love for sound exploration.

Still Thrill EP is a 4-track release shaped by a wide musical range, bringing together elements of Detroit techno, trance, house, Goa, ambient, and progressive. More than just a debut on the REVOLT label, this is Other Reality’s first-ever release on vinyl—a deeply personal milestone shaped by years of dedication to his craft and the support of close friends and peers.

Crafted with a mix of hardware and software, the EP draws from years of studio sketches and archived musical ideas. A hidden detail runs through it: a fragmented sample from a rock track that deeply marked Alex in the past—a line that never fully completes in the track.

Each piece carries emotional weight and narrative depth, blending analog warmth with timeless dancefloor energy. The EP moves effortlessly through moods—nostalgic yet forward-looking, playful yet deeply personal.

Ohm ’95—with a name that subtly hints at the Goa trance soul—delivers acid basslines, trance elements, and dreamy pads. A transcendental, unifying experience. Kinda Free pulses gently like a groovy caress at dawn, with dreamy layers, steady rhythm, and acid touches that feel both tender and elevating. The genesis of Pain Struck Stanley Dumb is as dignified as their sound. Picture this: 7am at an afterparty, and Doctor Luke Dumbstruck, commanding the decks. Neuro-dnb at its most raw, trousers around his ankle, and a single eyepatch completing the enigmatic tableau.

Amid this sonic debris, Christopher D Ashley found a kindred spirit - PSSD was born with a manifesto: to forge timeless electronics, drawing inspiration from Drexciya, Underground Resistance, Two Lone Swordsmen, and Juan Atkins.

Their latest release, "Breakfast At Brian's", marks a significant milestone: their debut on Radioactive Man's esteemed Asking For Trouble imprint. This record is a masterclass in stripped-back electro/techno production - a testament to the power of simplicity.

Playa Bagdhad debuts in Boyanza Records with a heavy banger, straightforward track, that will bring dance floor energy to a maximum level. As the track goes by, Papa Jazz and DJ Bagdhad reminds how powerful house and dance music can be. A simple 808 to maintain feet stomping, a groovy baseline, fun vocals and a trippy trippy acid synth. A true peak time weapon.

DJ and production duo Pornbugs have been blasing a trail since 2005 and set up the label
Bondage-Music not long after to showcase their sound and the talented House artists around them. Frink is the epitome of underground. A talented artist with a steadfast fanbase that releases banger after banger with integrity and soul.

‘See Through My Eyes’ is a solid slice of contemporary house music. Deeply hypnotic and wildly addictive, its vibey bass, scattergun percussions and icy, cinematic pads feel like an warm audio blanket on a cold winters night. On the remix, Miroloja Strips away at the layers for a deeper groove.

‘Sigma’ sees the triplet explore the tribal side of House. Rubber bass wraps around the opening tribal framework and develops into a classy deep houser with bags of soul. Roger Gerresen takes the baton and runs on the remix. Dubbing out the stabs for an icy, hypnotic journey. Perfect for the early morning hours after a long club night!

Art Academy was a short-lived but impactful project masterminded by Stephan Kessler (of Aircrash Bureau), releasing just one single in 1990 on the iconic Suck Me Plasma imprint, a sub-label of Music Research. "The Banker”, co-produced by Holger Wick (Konzept), delivers a sharp fusion of techno and EBM, capturing the gritty, forward-pushing energy of early '90s German electronic music.

Limited edition of 300 copies on black vinyl and 200 copies on clear red vinyl, offering all original tracks along with the highly sought-after HWSK Mix of “The Banker”, previously only available on CD.

Fango’s debut EP for Running Back draws a map of the Italian’s wonderful world of sounds. To help music journalists in their ongoing search for new genres, it’s a planet that consist of techno punk, ebm house and outsider disco.
Fed by the unbroken fascination with all things dinosaurs (no pun intended) that Fango shared with his son, reading books, watching documentaries and visiting museums, he found a new place and created a sound for it. If you have ever looked for a danceable soundtrack that resembles strange dinosaurs, dark clouds, active volcanoes and powerful winds, you have finally found it. Aptly named after four different dinosaurs, this Ep consists of the irresistible uplifting vibe that is Sarcosuco and its sweet and melancholic counterpart Diplodoco, while the slow-motion rave Dimetrodonte and Gastonia mirror Fango’s darker and tool-like character. “After a stay in Detroit in 2022 (where I met some of the artists whose music I admire the most), I returned to Montreuil, illuminated and brimming with energy. I had my MPC2000XL repaired, found a second-hand Yamaha Motif ES6 at Zikplace in Croix de Chavaux, and a Korg Triton on Le Bon Coin. The three instruments connected together rekindled my practice of electronic music in my home studio. Passionate about the new setup, I tried to record a little each day.

After two years of work, I felt the desire to bring together the eight tracks that brought me the most joy during their recording. A certain nostalgia and/or melancholy can arise from the sounds of the instruments used, each dating from the late 1990s. They plunged me back into the house and R&B clips that played on MTV when I was a pre-teen, which I adored.

The recording is raw and conveys a message of peace, humility, and unity. It pays homage to the early hours of house music.

The title of the project, “please don’t wait,” is simple and refers to the passage of time, urgency, and the present moment. It’s a message that invites movement and action.”

Born and raised in Ibiza, Valentin Huedo grew up surrounded by seductive tunes and grooves - connected with astounding nature and free-minded people. He grabbed the core of the island and understood the way music transcends us, and makes us bond with ourselves and with each other. Since, he’s been projecting it both on the island and all over the world.

Their first EP "Higher" on Toy Tonic last year reached no. 1 of BEATPORT House music charts and this follow up probably will be similarly successful as it has the same high quality of music and dancefloor catchiness every DJ dreams of.

From the ON_ series where unconventional, hard edged, experimental and archival club cuts get's re-presented, remixed and highlighted. Laton outs Russian newcomer Ectro Usic with a slamming, gritty & heavy duty electro/techno full side. Flip carries DJ Sotofett's broken but strobicly steady club mix of - Austrian inventor & synth specialist - A.Burger's "Device C" which in original suit has been released by Craft Records (1996) and Laton (1999). The Techno Wave" was the first single released in 1990 by this famous project created by Jens Lissat and Ramon Zenker (Hardfloor). One of the most well-known tracks of the so called Frankfurt Tekkno scene that invaded Germany during the early 90s. This re-issue includes the original Castle Mix", the b-side The Bass is on Fire' and a new killer remix prepared by Ancient Methods who described The Techno Wave" as "one of the influential tracks that brought me alongside Zoth Ommog and R&S into techno".

Known for his ability to create captivating, emotionally charged techno, Jonathan Kaspar eventually returns to Cocoon Recordings with his third contribution Twofold Split. One, yet simultaneously two releases that once again showcase his extraordinary talent through condensed techno with a pinch of trance, weaving together driving rhythms and atmospheric textures in a way that feels innovatively progressive.

Drifting hypnotically, this might be the most fitting way to describe what Jonathan Kaspar unfolds before us here. The rolling percussion grooves seamlessly intertwine with the siren's spectral tone, gradually blending into the alchemy of ‘Yah’ as it erupts into the mix. By the time the peak arrives, there’s a raw intensity in the air - the track seems to bend and stretch then drills and twists until it cracks, but never loses its sense of purpose and remainsanchored in its deep, pulsating groove. On the flip side, ‘Silver Lines’ stands as a counterpart, offering a contrast in both sound and atmosphere. With its minimalist arrangement, the track first nestles in gently, lulling the listener into its world—only to tighten its grip as a synth sequence gradually opens its cut-off filter, slicing through the calm, drilling into the mind, and shifting the mood from tranquil to tense.

Stately Records is back with this stellar EP by Dutch hero Joren Edwards. Joren is rapidly making waves in the scene with his stellar live performance and a highly anticipated release one Priku’s Atipic back in 2021. Now he lands on Stately Records and is delivering 3 outstanding pieces, with A1 being an analog live take, potential to do some serious damage on the dancefloor on A2, and the title track on the flipside received a beautiful rework by Stately’s own dubtommy. LIZZ is back on PlayedBy with Chapter II, a compilation of new and unreleased artifacts and other treasures from his dense catalog. Diverse and expansive, it captures his versatile musicianship and ever-evolving production style.

Broadly speaking, there are two types of tracks produced by LIZZ: on one hand rallying for the right to party, and on the other, nostalgic odysseys, sometimes lustful and sometimes wistful. Chapter II has a bit of everything. Thirteen tracks of club heat varied narrative that is worth listening to carefully.

Opener "Seamless" and its steady snare keep spirits high while the spacey keys provide a trippy, out-there vibe. On the flipside, "Clasic Dewan" uses elements we've heard before - warm pads, a percussive organ, and a looped vocal sample - but still makes for a great dancefloor track. Both tracks are a throwback to LIZZ's tried and true Terrafirma.

"Cynelmoon" unravels a labyrinthine universe twisting in and out of misty existence, with its snake-like rattles winding through a maze of synth bleeps.

Refreshing and zippy, "Dip Si M" stands out as a gritty reinterpretation of a great space and sounds like the most fun he's ever had on record. On the other hand, "Chemical Chords" is ethereal, meditative, with a hushed musicality that is almost stoic.

LIZZ takes the listener on a journey of vertiginous peaks and deep valleys as he leads "Round Around" into spiraling locked down looped club music.

Listening to "Nothing with Nothing" feels like a video-game on its own. It’s a bundle of joy and energy, peaking with a crescendo of color.

On "69" the energy builds with such careful, gradual restraint that even the most active listener might wonder how they ever got to this point. Chopped up shards of melody and vocals combine to create a kaleidoscopic funhouse with a strong Perlon-esque flavour.
"Roaki" is the dreamy track with an irresistible groove, where LIZZ combines smooth synth pads with dubby and distorted electronic drums that add a sense of cyberpunk feel, reconfirming's Playedby's fanaticism for this project.

A bubbling, percussive roller marks the beginning of "Jazzohub" and skyrockets from there. The track hits with an inviting vocal that dissolves into a fluid swirl of layered hand drums.
"No More High" is a a real banger. This one bounces hard with a bass-heavy beat and a military snare, leaving you no choice but to tip-toe with its groove all night long.

Chasing an ever-vivid muse,"Electronic World" hits with its drumming rhythms, labyrinth of synth bleeps and bold vocals reminiscent of tunneling club nights.

Closing track "I Am Cross" brings an unusual kind of dark atmosphere to the fore: it's cavernous and enveloping, almost as if the rhythm was an afterthought.

Chapter II is every bit as ambitious as its predecessor. Across thirteen tracks, LIZZ approaches the dancefloor forms of his earlier work with a fresh and voluptuous groovy attitude. Somehow, individually, we must reclaim our own experience.\5

“Miss Honey” by Moi Rene was an underground New York anthem during the early 90’s. While the artist and the song never fully got the acclaim it deserved, it’s originality and authenticity was strong enough to sustain its reputation as a must have track for any DJ who wanted to inject some raw and real NYC underground vibes into their set.

Through a series of memorable releases, the production team known as SRVD has emerged as one of the worldwide DJ community’s most original and innovative talents. Consisting of renowned producer Radio Slave and Performance arsist Partrick Mason, SRVD has done a remix that retains the New York-in-the-90’s edge of the vocal, while adding a techno – laced rocket fueled beat and synth that have made the track an immediate favorite of headlining DJ’s worldwide. Entitled Moi Honey, the SRVD remix package consists of a vocal and instrumental version.

Originally released on Robs Records offshoot Pleasure, followed by a repress on Air Trance in 1995 featuring Francesco Farfa & Kiticonti on remix duty, the debut offering from French/UK outfit Prism - aka Pascal Eloy & Grant Wilkinson - ‘Vapour Trails’ EP eventually gets a much needed reissue on Cosmocities this summer, enhanced with a remix from Bliss Inc.

From its initial sortie on the label run by Rob Gretton, former manager of legendary New Wave bands New Order and Joy Division, onto making it to a then en-vogue Italian trance imprint, this record made waves and opened new portals for many lovers of the burgeoning electronic sound, including - years later - Cosmocities head exec himself, holding the special status of being his first ever vinyl record buy. Harder was the path towards that longed-for repress, but with a twist from destiny - after tracking down one half of Prism - Pascal Eloy - to no avail, the label managed to find him through his father, contemporary composer Christian Eloy, plans were set out to release a first EP, ‘Rain’ (2022), and now ‘Vapour Trails’, which comes as the icing on the cake.

A future-facing slice of fast-track trance bound to have ravers melting in XTC thru and thru, the lead single treats us to a deluge of prismatic arps and multi-faceted synthwaves, ushering us into a vivid, mind-expanding kaleidoscope of throbbing colours and propulsive groove; an absolute killer of a tune that’s lost nothing of its frenzied punch. In the hands of Italian duo Farmakit, the track morphs into a further corrosive churner tailored for peak-time rumble in the warehouse with its calibrated mix of acid-drenched bass whorls, hard house bounce and Tangerine Dream vibrations.

Flip sides and here’s ‘O.N.V.I.’ shifting gears towards a more tribal / spiritual kind of uptempo hoodoo, running the gamut wildly from ethereal choirs to warlike drum programming, via sci-fi-indebted cosmicness and proper 303-infused salvos from outer space. New addition to the bunch, the remix from Bliss Inc. treats us to a more focussed parade of jacking house percussions, hi-NRG acid tropes and Afro funk-minded psychedelia, revving up the engines as the room temp rises from hot to sweltering. More Rice returns with its ninth release and second vinyl drop of the year, delivering a heavy-hitting EP from label cofounder Sarayu. The Don. Mueang. marks his first full solo release on the label since 2021, reaffirming his distinct voice in Asia’s underground dance scene. The A side features two peak-time weapons: no nonsense, bass-driven influenced techno rollers built with the dancefloor firmly in mind and straight to the point. On the flip, trusted More Rice regulars step in on remix duties. O-Wells reimagines Don Vito Bingus with a warm, rolling take that leans into house and tech
house territory, giving the track a smoother, hypnotic swing.

Mogwaa closes out the EP with his Fiesta Mix — an electrified, rhythm-forward version that does exactly what it says on the tin: it bangs. As always, all tracks made for the dancefloor

Tech-Droppers fronts a coil of six acidic, harmonizing, well programmed, whizzing and straight to the bone dance punchers. The string of snappy snares, rainy cymbals, steps of cuts & drops, as well as the sequenced balance of high flying chords, rolling rhythms and solidly sectioned stabs keeps all tracks absolutely straight to the point.

Party starting outfit Spaghetti Club dive into 2022 with a hop, skip and a wobble as their third release sees the light of day this January. The four track VA maneuvers between dynamic moods for the dance floor, including sounds from label founder, Pierre Codarin, Harry Wills, Philipp Boss, and Jealous Lover.

Carrying the torch for the first track is UK producer, Harry Wills with “Longbags”, his animated sound fitting the ethos of the label entirely, cruising on a slinky arrangement, and sub heavy bass. Next up is Activo founder Philipp Boss, with a deeper and curious encounter, riding his synths around subtle house movements in “Serious Cat”.

Head chef Pierre Codarin provides a pacey and elasticated groove in “Smoke The Gap”, mechanical beeps and bleeps breathing life into the forward motion of the track. On a more mysterious trip is the last track of the EP from Jealous Lover. “Dresses For The Ride Not The Slide” is a hazy trip, crammed full of rippling shades of electro, calling in the shadows of the afters.

On this second delivery of Uruguayan Sound, Mephis presents us with two like-minded producers with a love for machines and their sound.

On the A side we have Elias Sternin, with his particular nostalgic, mysterious and trance-inducing sound. The EP opens up with Wah Wah y Phaser, evoking the feeling of a spaceship lifting off, into the big Other. Bass rolls into the stratosphere, whilst sharp and poignant synths push us past the space rubble that surrounds our planet. The second Track is a proper mood work, landing us in an uncharted yet familiar alien landscape. You can breathe the mystery in, whilst closing your eyes and embracing the unknown.


On the B side we continue travelling through a path of esoteric and questioning vibes. Artesano Titer delivers an ominous mind trip with Science to Music, an utterly mesmerising soundscape to question yourself and your Umwelt. Closing off the EP, we have White Rabbit, a profoundly narcotic trip to the centre of our own perception. Slides, breaks, smooth lines and an acidic bass that spiral down to the core of the self.

Phantasy are delighted to introduce Greek duo Boys' Shorts for their debut EP on the label, ‘Athena’. The project of music obsessives Vangelis and Tareq, the Boys’ Shorts sound has helped redefine timeless strains of disco, house and Italo for Europe’s queer club underground, with similar charisma spilling into their collaborative productions on labels including Live at Robert Johnson, Permanent Vacation and Polari.

Boys' Shorts appearance on Phantasy is coupled with their most ambitious and fulfilling songwriting to date. Featuring a rare vocal performance from beloved selector and cosmic disco expert Budino, appearing alongside Elisa Paradiso, the instantaneous lead cut ‘Summer’s Here and Summer’s Missing’ recounts a sun-drenched romance cut short. The duo’s soft, bittersweet synthesis mingles with Budino’s Italian-language lyrics, gently pulsing to find closure, or at least further pleasure, while up late in a Balearic discoteque.

Under those same hot lights, Boys' Shorts go deeper still with the leading oscillations of ‘Stereo on Acid’, in which classic, wobbly-hearted 808 sounds flirt playfully with a bassline that bumps like downtown traffic on a sweltering Athens afternoon. Reflecting the hidden pleasures and true underground culture of the city after nightfall, title track ‘Athena’ is a sensual and sophisticated groove with an epic yet understated touch, that one can imagine soundtracking a future soiree or centuries of ancient history alike.

Stomping Grounds is happy to announce George Heerds return to the label with the Acid Garden EP, this time marking his debut under his new solo project - George Heerd. Drawing inspiration from the golden era of UK tech house while adding modern touches, George crafts an EP that reminisces about the early 2000s while embracing a contemporary twist.

Crate 17’s first release introduces Jaen — a project in motion, shapeshifting between impulse and introspection. It marks the beginning of a label intent on embracing transformation.

On the A side, “Electrons” launches with kinetic purpose. A cut that dives into electro wobble territory, weaving pulsing basslines with a frenetic energy.
