Hot on the heels of the success of the Phonica AM’s debut release, lable curator Luther Vine has un- earthed another rare find. London based Subb-An is no stranger to all manner of Tech and Minimal sounds. He’s well known for the high calibre releases on his own One Records and countless seminal releases on lablel far too many to mention. Yet on ‘Synchronicity EP’ you will discover Subb-An like you’ve never heard him before. The newly found sound that he explores here with ease and panache is both steeped in 90’s history yet with knowledge of modern dancefloors.

The tight and driving opener ‘Synchronicity’ is sharp as a tack. The relentless kick of the 909 is pep- pered with Acid-tinged synths. A banger by all means, yet due to the eerie sensual vocals the overall feel of the track is positively hypnotic. It is followed by ‘Salvia Apiana’. The track evokes the Tribal rites with its gamelan influenced arrangement and superbly inventive use of playful arps. This melodic yet danceable sage scrub is guaranteed to rejuvenate all manner of tiered dancefloors.

The flip side opens with ‘Higher Frequency’ and travels far beyond the straight forward beatscapes of obvious and mundane. It resonates on mystic frequencies of Techno spectrum but remains infectiously danceable at all times.The closing track of the EP is an understated meditative masterpiece. ‘Atlantis’ takes bright jubilant semi-tones and sees them timidly burst through the artfully constructed dusty soundframe. The more you listen to it the more you will hear. Pure magic.

Yusuke Yamamoto of Kyoto, Japan graces the YUNG DUMB roster with three lush and original house compositions, plus a remix from Detroit deep house legend Rick Wade.

Welcome to Anthony Naples first outing for Running Back. Swerve sees the New York resident putting his dancing shoes back on and taking a pause from his admittedly brilliant other side. A development that last year’s Club Pez on ANS already foreshadowed. While his music is at times ethereal and cerebral, but also engaging and compelling, Naples manages to fill the gap between finesse and function with idiosyncratic abilities.
Starting with the title track that builds a bridge between a beehive and Joey Beltram’s hoover sound, it’s clear that Naples has something unique in case of temperature and tempo. Swerve flows around an addictive bass line, adds a splash of piano and manages to feel big without the usual cheap tricks. Played by Four Tet and Pete Tong. If bangers-not-bangers would be a genre, Naples would have created one of its prime examples.
The rest follows lead: Here With You uses skippy beats underneath a TB-303, Right As The Sun Goes extracts elements of its two predecessors, but mirrors them with delightful mellowness and finally, Be To feels like the continuation of the sprawling hypnotism of the mid-nineties.

With 2021’s highly rated debut “Vinland In Space Ep (JR001)” under their belt, the Pakistan/Thailand outfit Jugaar Records crew are back with close friend and collaborator, Bangkok boy DOTT, whose “Puppy Luv” EP steps up for the label's second outing, swaying towards housier realms with subtle, swung rhythms loaded with colour, including a remix from the master Titonton Duvante.

The record consists of four dancefloor cuts primed for club action or even a gorgeous road trip.

Following on from his debut release for Crosstown Rebels in 2018, Emanuel Satie is welcomed back to the revered label to present Rivers feat. MAMA, another display of his gifted musical skill, set for release this February.

Rivers feat. MAMA opens with a spirited bassline, delicate percussion is added before MAMA’s outstanding vocal cuts through, touching the soul as the mystical chant of melody slowly burns. Tokyo ASMR sees the listener transported to the colour and ambience of the city, it features Japanese inspired strings, flutes and samples that lock around a minimal beat inducing a state of meditation and tranquillity.

Frankfurt-born, Berlin-based producer Emanuel Satie has built up a distinguished reputation with his original productions and remixes. Bursting onto the scene with a slew of releases on many of the most meaningful labels, with impressive chart positions including a Beatport number 1, Emanuel’s unrelenting momentum lead to him being awarded Best Producer at the DJ Awards, an acclaim previously won by Maceo Plex and Solomun.

His music has been played by DJs across genres and previously charted in the top five most Shazamed tracks in Ibiza, whilst Pete Tong made single Don’t Forget To Go Home featuring Billy Cobham his Miami Music Week Essential New Tune. Following this Emanuel then collaborated with Pete Tong for their massive Time For Love which has now reached two million Spotify plays, released his widely supported Planet XXX on Sven Väth‘s Cocoon Recordings and was welcomed into the Crosstown Rebels fold to release his debut EP on Damian Lazarus‘ label.

At the helm of London's renowned label and party series Tessellate since its creation in 2013, co-founders Max van Dijk and Oli Hiam have been shaping their sound as DJs and selectors, curating and soundtracking stellar lineups alongside the likes of Ryan Elliott, Octo Octa, Evan Baggs, Chaos In The CBD, Shanti Celeste, Youandewan, The Ghost, Christian AB, Tama Sumo and Gene On Earth to name just a few. Following various studio explorations, the pair launched their collaborative guise, The Trip, in 2020 with their 'Wet Your Whistle' EP, with follow-up EPs via Nuances de Nuit and Fraise Records gaining the attention of Peach, Paramida, Avalon Emerson, Nicola Cruz and Enzo Siragusa. Returning to home turf to close out the imprint's 2022 schedule, December welcomes an exploration into cosmic spheres as the label bosses unveil their latest material. Inspired by their time over lockdown digging through their own record collections and Discogs online, taking cues from records of the past, the four-track 'Pacific Vision' EP draws from 90s progressive spheres and the golden era of tech house to showcase a modern take with carefully re-worked samples - delivering a selection of productions destined for big dancefloor moments.

For their ninth iteration, Hamburg's The Press Group punches back in with the sizzling hot debut to a VA series bound to scout and shed a broader light on exciting artists from various territories and backgrounds.
Pulsating to the bone, "Future Prospects vol.1" showcases a quartet of heaters courtesy of Germany-based Robert Dietz and Aii PS on the A-side and Kyiv-based Vlad Stuparenko & Ghetto Sunrise plus Sasha Zlykh on the flip. Either sides of the
disc inbound for optimal and non-pareil impact on the dance floor. Dietz's "Salbung" paves the way old-school style, grinding everything from lethal breaks to rowdy drums, via lysergic synth flights straight out a wild sci-fi scenario.
Aii PS' bouncy and oneiric contribution "Donteven" is more of a low-slung affair with its mischievous fusion of filtered synths and acid-informed bass spurts painting the sky all shades of radioactive green.
Flip it over and Stuparenko/Ghetto Sunrise's stealth, aqueous weapon "Pine Water" ushers us in a corridor of groove-enslaved echolocation, delayed stabs and propulsive bleepin' n bloopin' from the depths. A further dusty, shuffling affair
blazing with clanky hats on a Chicagoan tip and futuristic electroid inflections, Zlykh's "Pidozepam" tops it all off in implacable fashion, casting a spell of exquisitely thrilling menace upon the ravers.

The first to release on the relaunched Nu Groove in 2021, NYC pioneer Jovonn is an artist whose musical philosophies align intrinsically with the beloved label. Now he returns to the imprint with a four track EP that continues to demonstrate his innate musicality and deep seeded roots in club culture. From the deep, minimalistic grooves of opening track ‘RAISE UP (Raise Up High)’ and driving melodies of ‘Sunday Ride’, to the chunkier ‘WHAT’ and the big room bass and plunging sub of closing cut ‘Let The World Dance’, this is another unmissable package from the rebirthed Nu Groove, from a true house master.

Oana delivers the third vinyl-only instalment to arrive from the Romanian record label feeder sound. Oana is well-known for her vibrant selections and productions, as well as for running Ariki Records. Titled “Transmisiune Intergalactică”, the 12’’ packs three solid minimalistic tracks designed with deep and futuristic rhythms and textures, ready to take you on a journey into inner and outer space!

With previous two releases signed by local artists Dragutesku and Piktor, feeder sound stands out as an essential platform that connects to an international community focused on modern electronic music and art, alternative news, multimedia and events for about 16 years. The collaboration with Oana follows the feeder sound live-streaming event series that took place last year, where she unleashed magical and engaging sounds in one of the episodes of the transmissions alongside visual artist Livi Po, who performed a live-painting session. Livi Po's artwork is now featured as the artwork for feeder sound's third vinyl release.

Side A is reserved for the title track “Transmisiune Intergalactică”, an immersive composition that goes past the 10 minutes mark, revealing a steady-paced drumming sequence smoothly blended with vast, ever-evolving background atmospheres and spiralling psychedelic effects. Make sure you tune in to those kinds of frequencies!
On Side B, first there’s “Conexiuni Astrale”, a hypnotic piece that focuses on its percussive elements and strong bassline, offering a twisted sound with numerous variations and build-ups. Subtle breakbeat and acidic influences are felt throughout, as the bleeping synth patterns and heavily modulated vocal cuts evoke an otherworldly dimension. Closing the wax, “Holograma” switches the tempo and drops an uplifting rhythm infused with funky arrangements and a sublime universe of electric micropatterns that will definitely make you shake your body and dance ecstatically!

by the time sewer sender had their inaugural appointment, nokato nomer found his way to the assembly right as remnants from the pulsing waste conformed. with SSNDR002 we make acquaintance with nokato nomer who establish his granular sound with a clear vision. A1 is a steady paced roller with a primary chord that resonates throughout the entire release. A2 expands this notion by widening the soundscape and opens up for an introspective passage while B1 finds it's way home with a long running dub version of A1 the flip side.

Landing this summer is a fantastic body of work from talented Irishman, Tr One, and quite notably the inaugural release on his own “Intrinsic Rhythm” label. His debut album “From The Studio Of” is a masterpiece that maneuvers between innovative strains of deep house, spaced out electro, and discerning mellow techno; the studio album spans across fourteen tracks including an acid tinged remix from, Cignol, and some stellar input from, Mihail P. Continuously inspired by the greats, and drawing influence from an array of sounds of the past whether that be, Chicago, Detroit and beyond, Tr One has now found himself with a cohesive series of tracks that speaks with power and creativity, and will see the light of day on both 2 x seperate 12” EP's and digital.

The first EP cruises into “Pitchshift” a deep, and melodic Detroit beatdown influenced trip featuring the vocals of Elaine Dowling. “Turning Point” drifts you up a notch, emotional synths breathe life into the crisp drum arrangements, but never getting carried away. The intelligently constructed “I’m Dreaming Again” sways gently in the realms of the after hours, hypnotic and captivating sounds from the Carlow based producer. Maintaining the enigmatic mood is “Stay Offline” a distinctive bassline drives the track allowing the other elements to converse peacefully. Cignol’s remix of “Turning Point” brings a new acid dynamic to the album, squelchy lines bounce around tidy drum work.

Sunny side up » is the first solo EP of JL., Paris based artist and Reshuffle music / Momo's Basement resident. The EP embraces a solar energy spread in four refreshing tracks, between house and techno. It has this sunrise galvanizing vibe, that you can enjoy either when partying late or waking up at dawn to welcome a new day. A game of contrast and textures, definitely positive.

The first in series of self-released Liquid Earth Physical releases, “The Electronic Brain” is a nose dive into Junkyard Synthesis.

From EP Title opener and the three tracks to follow, you’ll find part '80s sleaze, part '90s deepness and part '00s wiggle wrapped into one package.

A2 track "Vector Boy and The Horse With Three Legs” is as cooked as the title given. A twisted ride on a budget carnival right, steered forward by driving percussion and a mid-break bubbly synth line.

“Bubble Pop,” an ode to the 1986 arcade game, is a straight shooter. An early morning tune that pirouettes nicely through a sunrise set. Record closer, “Stingray Shuffle,” ties the release together with its juggled arpeggios and organically grown drum work.

The Electronic Brain makes dance music cocktails that pop like a twist of lime hitting seltzer. Melodic, crisp, and refreshing.

We are pumped to share our 7th release: “Snorkeling in Dewsbury” by a fairly new name out of Leeds, Midge Thompson. Another heavy hitter out of the UK (go figure), we first caught wind of him via his release on Butter Side Up (Big shout out to Hamish!) and knew we had to get him on board for his next vinyl output.

He delivered the goods as we expected with a well rounded EP that's an ode to his hometown. The A1, Snorkeling in Dewsbury, is the title track and delivers a punchy but deep, house groove. Fat bass lines, catchy chords and a subtle yet uplifting vocal make this a warm-up killer. For the A2, Snorkeling in Dewsbury gets a rework by our Italian brother Paolo Mosca. He puts his own twist on the title track with a progressive arrangement that eventually erupts into a dance floor weapon that is begging for a dark, sweaty room. Heads down, hands up.

On the flipside you get “Sometimes You Can” a hi-hat and sub-bass driven, deep yet techy, track akin to the golden age of 90’s house music with timeless minimal vocals and swing. To round out the EP, you get Hot Rod, a slow-building, big room slammer that’s patiently waiting for club’s to re-open.

There are few people across the globe, who will have not been touched by the work of Frankie Knuckles. Forever regarded as ‘The Godfather of House’. A Grammy Award winner, Frankie had a street in Chicago named after him where the old Warehouse once stood to commemorate the first ever Frankie Knuckles Day on 25th August 2004. Five years ago, Frankie passed away in Chicago on 31st March 2014 leaving behind one of the greatest house music legacies spanning almost four decades.

Now he is commemorated once again by long time writing and production partner Eric Kupper who will release part II of the special commemorative album on vinyl around this date. Eric, himself a seasoned DJ producer and writer, working side by side with Frankie on many his seminal classics, as well as personally working on over 116 Billboard #1 Dance Records. Having both worked together for many years they established themselves at ‘Director’s Cut’ from 2011 and set about producing original releases and remixes based on the classic ‘Def Mix’ sound while sharing equal credits for their creations.

The album features some of Directors Cut’s best works with the Re-Directed version of the seminal classic ‘Baby Wants To Ride’ plus their re rubs of Inaya Day, Sybil, Hardsoul and Lou Rawls - You’ll Never Find Another Love Like Mine (Kenny Summit, Frankie Knuckles & Eric Kupper Unreleased Anthem).

This album is to be released in collaboration with The Frankie Knuckles Foundation who work to continue Frankie’s legacy whilst focusing on music in schools, LGBTQ youth homelessness, AIDS research / prevention & diabetes research / education.

Sweat It Out up the perspiration levels to 10 with this modern day rework of Kwanzaa Posse's 1993 tribal infused 'Musika', by the much in form Yolanda Be Cool. A driving beat and dynamic bassline are interspersed with the Posse's euphoric chants firmly placing this a dancefloor destroyer.The first of three remixes comes from Babert. Turning Musika into a Miami Vice style synth laden boogie number, complete with uplifting piano stabs and a full bodied bass. Flip it over and things get a little more sinister. Both ideal for the basement club setting as much as they'd work in the big room clubs. GotSome revolve their remix around the chopped up tribal chants of Kwanzaa Posse - enhancing the expansive build ups and breakdowns to new heights.
To close it out, Dateless strips things back with a huge pulsating bass / kick combo whilst dubbing out the chants to be dropped in at choice moments before those heavyweight drops.

Super Rhythm Trax is excited to welcome 303 enthusiast and incredible conceptual artist (check out his website) Yuri Suzuki to the label. Yuri serves up 4 acidic tracks that are perfect fit for the label, all of them giving you that little bit extra, burrowing deep into the groove whilst giving plenty of extra elements to push the listener that bit further ‘out there’.

Yuri has collaborated many times with DMX Krew and appeared on labels as diverse as Matthew Herbert’s Accidental Jnr, Jared Wilson’s 7777 and Chicago’s mighty Trax records.

Emerging Netherlands-based pairing Parallells will land on Damian Lazarus’ Crosstown Rebels imprint for the first time next month. Gifting us an emotive offering in Ashes of Snow (The Rebirth Of The Phoenix), it acts as a tribute to their favourite Portuguese beach club, Yamba, which was tragically destroyed by a fire last year.

The title track hits a wonderful sweet spot between electronic elements and organic instrumentals. It feels raw and authentic, blending saxophone segments, electric guitar tones and a jazzy-like backbone to form a cut that feels ripe for both sunrise or sunset. On The Banks of The River comes next, manifesting as a more toughened dance music number thanks to deep bass components whilst still retaining the boys’ natural sound. Rounding off proceedings is Clive Henry, who’s remix of Ashes of Snow flies the flag for contemporary minimal. Weighty kicks reside next to delicate hats before ethereal synths are brought in, creating a romanian-inspired piece that you can’t help but dance to.

Parallells are two Amsterdam-based brothers hailing from the south of France. Multi-instrumentalists, composers, producers and label owners (Klassified), their music cuts across electronica, electro-jazz and underground dance music. Their live, hybrid and DJ sets have graced some of the world’s most esteemed stages, including DGTL, Robot Heart, Mayan Warrior, The Gardens of Babylon, Wonderfruit and many more besides. Their music is also heavily influenced by world culture, a feat that led them to launch their video series concept A Day In. House music icon Kerri Chandler unveils his first album in 14 years, Spaces and Places, a global celebration of club and sound system culture, meticulously created by the New Jersey producer/DJ over several years on location at twenty-two of the world’s most distinguished nightclubs. Each track built on the spaces individual relationship with Kerri, often through decades of live shows or appearances, and in the process capturing unique rhythmic and emotional nuances.

Written and performed with a temporary studio on the centre of each dance floor, this jaw dropping 3 x 12” album in a stunningly designed tri-fold picture sleeve complete with hand signed A2 poster insert (first 500 only), showcases Kerri at his finest. Taking in never before heard tracks, versions and mixes separate to the four samplers that preceded it, this incredible body of work and concept has seen the album submitted for two Grammy awards.

As one of dance music’s most respected and authentic figures, Kerri Chandler is a true originator of his genre, with an impeccable discography and signature sound to match. He has unquestionably helped to shape house music’s positive outlook over the last 30 years. Not only from the DJ booth and studio, but also as an A&R via his Kaoz Theory label which has worked with contemporary talents like Jamie Jones, Seth Troxler and The Martinez Brothers. Now, Kerri Chandler is set to release a carefully rendered and truly unique body of work. Spaces and Places will undoubtedly be seen as a timeless tribute that underscores the originality that has kept him as one of the most in-demand artists for so many years.

“The first time I stepped into a nightclub was with my father as a child. I saw the magic of what a club space could sound and feel like as my Dad set up the DJ equipment at The Rallye Racquet Club. Hearing the power of those huge Altec Lansing "Voice of the Theater" Speakers and Horn-loaded JBL subwoofers fascinated me! In the late 80s, I was spoiled sonically by playing on several Richard Long Sound Systems around New York and New Jersey. This is why ever since I first ventured away from home, I have been infamous with my soundchecks at any space I have performed in. I make sure, with the help of the engineers in these “Spaces and Places”, many I have known most of my career, to get the best from each system. Each sound system is unique to each venue, even if it's the same type of gear, because of the physical space. And when you add the right audience to that specific nightclub, it comes to life! The club owners and engineers were gracious enough to let me take over each club and turn each venue, into a recording studio. I wanted to express the love of what could be possible in capturing my productions in the venue, from the heart of each space, right on the dance floor and I translate it onto this album, which I created over the course of 4 years and 24 venues later. Next up on the A2 is Moray with the funky and banger “Ohhhhh Really”, processed drums and some retro vibes on this one also big track to fill the dance floor.

Flipping over onto the B side we have "My Houze’' by Tripmastaz, a full-on pounding acid house beauty with a pulsing, peak time rhythm that just won't stop!

Finishing up we have as always on the B2 a honne music member this time Rodrigo P. with "Olas", a soulful and uplifting track where if you listen with detail you can hear the delicate work in its arrangements perfect for a warm up hr or closing your set in a perfect way.

Rising Mancunion producers PSTW serve up a tight Tech House roller with Fixation and then we have decided to go big on the remixes to do their hard work justice! First up we have the Nigerian modern music visionary Jerome Sydenham (Drumcode / Liebe Detail / Ibadan Label Boss) coming direct from the European Techno Hub that is Berlin, a man with his finger firmly on the pulse and it’s no surprise, IT’S A BANGER! Following on from Jerome we have Mykel Haze & Plastik Corpse (Noir Music / Naked Lunch) with a deeper more melodic interpretation that still gives a fair bit of punch to keep the energy of the release on track. Then we throw in a curveball with the wobbly acidic vibes of Dan Wild (Just Jack Bristol) which would fit perfectly at any late night Chicago warehouse party, and finally, last but by no means least, we have label boss and rEJEKT supremo Iain Taylor with a straight up House groover that brings a distinct American / Parisian feel to the proceedings.

The EP is produced by Alessio Viggiano, the international producer and DJ that have been hosted many times at After Caposile.

'Reise Ins Glück' (engl.: journey into happiness) was the second EP from Pitchwork in 1996 by three young students from Freiburg (im Breisgau). At the time it also marked one of the very first record Alex (Sevensol) ever purchased and since then always finds it´s way back into his record bag. Three of the original tunes plus one unreleased track ('Rückreise') are now available again on vinyl. Fitting for the dancefloors of the 1990's just as much as it still is today.

This record mirrors the personal dance music ethos for Long Vehicle, blurring fine lines between driving tech-house, slightly progressive acid and dubby garage music. Yes sure, let's go to bed grandpa.

We first discovered this when Noir recieved the promo from Ten Ven.Noir then started spreading the word about his love for this new 'Ten Ven' act and shortly after we were generously offered to release it on Noir Music.
We did not hesitate for a second to sign this and we are delighted to be able to present such a great 4-tracker on the label from a new and exciting act. Not only do we believe that Ten Ven could be the next big thing but we also strongly believe that these solid house grooves might lead the way of the changes in the underground this year. Its a throw-back to french and filtered house as it started out more than 20 years ago melted into todays production techniques. It's super refreshing to hear this sound again and we promise there's more to come over the summer period.

Poker Flat's Forward To The Past anthology returns in its 3rd iteration, as lean and mean as it ever was and precision-engineered to make you jack, dream and all things in between. The winning formula remains the same: task a selection of hotshot veteran and up-and-coming producers with recapturing the style and mood of early club music, paying homage to the golden years between 1985 and 1992 when Chicago House and Acid, New York House and Detroit Techno took the world and its dancefloors by storm. The result is a collection of new and exclusive tracks as addictive as the stone cold classics that influenced them - a tribute and, at the same time, the cutting edge of contemporary music production. LA-based compatriot MANIK contributes a rolling, no-frills jam that sticks to the tried and tested production values of early acid as if to say, Why mess with perfection' From his small Amsterdam studio crammed with classic drum machines and synths, Wouter de Moor serves up 'Bon Voyage', a simmering analogue acid jam bedecked with snickering percussive flourishes and long, sustained chords for that blue-tinged Detroit vibe. Pavel Iudin, meanwhile, adds jazzy Rhodes inflections and whistling birdsong to a similarly bubbling groove. Veteran DJ Aakmael adopts the classic Juno bass sound to pay homage to the godfather of deep, Larry Heard, for an exercise in immersive repetition.

Uruguayans Luis Malon and Jorge Gamarra in his new alias Ecstatic are in charge of SUR’s ninth instance. House, Techno, Breaks, Electro and whatever ; Four mental and dancefloor tracks for the club or the afters.

It's been so long but finally we are back with our 3rd release OTTEP20, brought to you by the Venezuelan artist Onoffon based in Barcelona and resident Dj in MAD Radio. The release has two original cuts that fit perfectly for the dance-floor with tracending melodies, acid basses and energetic drums patterns. It includes a sick remix by the well-known producer Len Lewis which is a track irresistible for the peak hour.

Two excellent production from Ron Trent finally back on vinyl.

Hamburg’s Polycarp Records delivers the ‘Never Ever’ EP by Bonn this January, backed with remixes from Johannes Albert and The Cruiser.
The Polycarp Records imprint was launched in 2016 by Simon Ferdinand and across its past ten releases has unveiled an array of material from the likes of Pleasant Systems boss Tilman, Frank Music founder Johannes Albert and Simon Ferdinand and Basch both under their own artist names and of course their collaborative project, Bonn. In 2019 Ferdinand and Basch inaugurated their Bonn guise with a debut album entitled ‘Forget Forgot Forgotten’, 2021 saw the release of a follow up EP entitled ‘Ravenous’ and here the story continues with the pair’s latest collaborative works.
The original mix of title-track ‘Never Ever’ opens the EP and lays down
crunchy, off-kilter drums alongside mystical atmospherics, an unfurling acid bass lead and loopy, fluttering stab sequences. Johannes Albert’s twist on ‘Never Ever’ follows next, the fellow German producer takes things down his signature cosmic, nu- disco path via bubbling arpeggio lines and 80’s tinged resonant leads melded together with fragments from the original composition.
‘Phero’ then opens the flip side and sees Bonn deliver a twitchy house
workout fuelled by fidgety synth bleeps, dubbed out chords and bumpy,
saturated drums. Last up to round things out, The Cruiser turns in a
high- octane interpretation of ‘Phero’, upping the tempo and reshaping the original’s raw elements into a murky, dynamically unfolding thumper.

For their seventh issue, Adam's Bite have tapped italian DJ and producer, Christopher Ledger. His work has steadily risen to the top over the past five or six years, honing in on a reduced style favoured by intimate dancefloors throughout Europe. For his most recent output, Ledger draws upon more muscular, more urgent matter altogether.

His encyclopedic knowledge of dance music's hidden corners reverberates strongly within these five tracks. Find echoes of the fledgling Roman rave scene in its heavy drumwork, whilst the trance-infused synths recall the hazy glory days of mid-nineties Elba. All touched up and bound together by a thoroughly modern approach to sound design and floor awareness. Ledger carries his italian heritage on his sleeve, and although many of the calling cards might appear obscured to the uninitiated, those familiar with his craft will find more to love with every rotation. Pass this gate and discover the depth at your own risk.

The inimitable, Detroit-born, UK based producer and DJ, Demi Riquísimo returns to his unbounded Semi Delicious imprint with a 4-track EP with feature vocals from one of London’s most in-demand DJs - Lulah Francs.

Delivering another delectable spread of speaker rumbling house music in a variety of dancefloor flavours, Demi sets off with title track ‘Rush Common’. A steady rolling kick, with his signature live-feel hi-hats are joined by a rumbling 909 groove and massive synth chords and a wandering acid-lead. Simple, effective, fearless house music.

‘Paroche’ brings the authentic Italo-influenced flavours that Demi has become renowned for. Sampled female vocal chants dissect a metric, live drum groove with lush pads and an oozing, wandering arp synth running through the centre. – Demi also includes a huuuuge, Extended Balearic Mix for the bubbling Ibiza terraces throughout the summer.

‘Circulate’ showcases fellow Londoner Lulah Francs vocal leads, across a gnarly FM synth lead and sassy Roland drum groove. Lulah’s enchanting vocals give this one an extra edge to captivate any dance floor it meets.

‘Don’t Feed The Tiger’ combines Indo-influences with modal vocals and an eastern instrumentation to bask in under the midday sun. A slower tempo from a live-drum groove offers space to move between shaded trees, barefoot in the Balearic sands.

Burnski's Constant Black keeps on serving up the heat with a new one from Michael James, who is something of a label regular by now. He kicks off here with 'Remember' featuring a rather iconic vocal sample that cannot fail to get crowds going. It's well worked over an infectious house beat with warming bass. 'Tequila' is another kinetic cut, this time with skewed synth lines and prickly percussion that is raw and tech-edged. Closing out this classy but party-starting EP is 'Remember Me' (version 2) which is a real pumper with twisted acid lines and a killer groove that is catchy as Covid. Another vital drop from this label, as always.

Vertere Berlin is a contemporary fashion brand and party collective founded by a group of local DJs and designers. It was founded in 2017 and since then rose to international attention for their club-ready streetwear and their fashion collabos with DJs and labels like Jennifer Cardini, Disco Halal, DUAT Records to name a few. Vertere Berlin also made a name for themselve for their hyped party series “Strictly Dancefloor Business” - hosting artists like Roza Terenzi, Narciss, DJ Fuckoff, Boris, Heap as well as their resident DJs.

As a logical next step Vertere Berlin is now launching their music label Vertere Berlin Records.

The first release is by label founder Uli Hasselmann aka Basic Instinct. Basic Instinct’s DJ sets represent a hypnotic and atmospheric dub-house sound. This is also reflected in this release. “Angel Dust” is an elegant and moody house track - enriched with a stab-led groove and a haunting vocal. “Feel It” is dubby and sexy prime-time track. Seducing vocal cuts are joined by a
warm analogue lead line.

The EP also includes two stunning remixes by VRIL and Narciss.
