Dancefloor shaman Barac joins the ranks of our label. His signature sound has accompanied us on countless night-time adventures already, providing a unique space of mind to lose ourselves in. Here, we are treated to three slowly unfurling pieces, each approaching the mental plane on its own terms. >Beyond The Gates, They Were Free I Shall Not Be Taken The Fall Of Man< closes things out in fine style, as a sidewinding drum circle entrenches itself into our minds with each rotation. Not to be taken lightly, this one.

As with each year’s anniversary, we produce an album to mark the occasion. This year is no different. And although there’s nothing more we want than to be able to celebrate with you on the dance floor, we hope this album provides the much needed reprieve.

The anniversary album consists of 8 groovy tracks from Soul Button, Nick Devon, Monarke, Grammik, MPathy, Clawz SG and Strinner. As always, thank you for your continued and unwavering support. It’s what keeps us going through these tough times. We sincerely hope to be able to dance alongside each of you very soon!

Last time we heard from Giuliano Lomonte, back in June 2020, he was working in cahoots with like-minded pal and fellow Berlin resident Alexis Carbrera. Here he makes his first appearance on Half Baked Records, in the process delivering his first solo single since 2019. The standout is arguably A-side 'Activator', a tactile, tech-tinged dancefloor roller in which spoken word snippets and fluttering electronic motifs cluster around a typically chunky and shuffling groove. The Italian producer opts for a deeper and more hypnotic vibe on the deep house/tech-house fusion of 'Control Center', before reaching for starry electronics, bubbly synth-bass and loose-limbed late '90s style tech-house beats on 'Secret House'.

A figure at the heart of the Parisian scene, Yoyaku favourite Janeret readies the third release on Chris Stussy’s blossoming Up The Stuss imprint as he delivers his four-track ‘Difference’ EP - a classy journey through slick garage-tinged melodies, dubby immersive textures, and rich house flavours.

No_4mat is an NYC-based producer, most known for his viral hits "1992" and "i'll call u mine." This is a collaborative EP release with Brooklyn-based skateboard and culture magazine Jenkem under their Jenkem Recordings imprint.

No_4mat is an NYC nightlife staple, and can probably be found lurking around the city’s nightclubs and dance floors on any given weekend. But he’s also a bit of a tech nerd, drawing inspiration from nostalgia for the early internet era. His music for this release references video games and childhood memories that will bring you back to a time when you were burning CDs and sharing USBs.

Sam Paganini makes his return to Drumcode after his chart topping album 'Satellite' with a four track, pounding EP. 'The Beat', is crammed with thudding drums, reverberated vocals and floaty synth lines. The EP, packed with tantalising synths and explosive drops, will ignite any dance floor.

Tommy Rawson releases are sporadic but always high quality. As a former member of the Souled duo who ran the excellent Fresh Minute label - he's been around the more tropical end of UK house and broken beat for many years and this, his first full release for Bergerac ushers forth a new level in his sound. This whole record is a masterclass in post bruk, forward thinking, shining, bright UK dance music. Unmatched in emotion and vibes. Deep Blue is quite simply the sound of the summer. Sun drenched, euphoric and soaring. Broken but not broken, 4/4 but not quite housey. Jazzy, soulful....yeah.... It was the highlight of Red Rack'ems Olive Grove closing set at Love International last year when it provided the most halcyon of moments. Live trumpet from Vicky Flint and a whole bag of vibes from Tommy Rawson. This is a classic. Trust. Past Tense is a super tropical African tinged house stomper which shows Tommys love of sunshine vibes once more with acres of space, insistent chants, dubby pianos and a tinge of Jungle roller bass.
The final track Into The Future takes us into almost Blade Runner-esque orchestral emotion but with a kind of Balearic feel tucked in there too. Beautiful, lilting, emotional memories. You can feel so much love in this track.Such a special record. Buy it. Love it. Treasure it.

The second chapter in the Family Matters serie marks the 10th release on the Belgian record label 9300 Records. Via electro, through house and breakbeat, all the way to New Beat, established members offer you their view on the different aspects in the spectrum of electronical music. It's a nostalgic reference to the past, through the eyes of the present. Alessandro Parisi makes his first contribution to the label with an ominous New Beat influenced track, while Betonkust joins him on the dark B-side with his well known non compromising electro. A-side consists of dance-floor approved electro/house tracks of both Intimacy & Innershades and a sober, yet sophisticated anthem by the hand of Robert D.

Melodize is a brand new label that kicks off with a mighty EP from Beartrax that includes a remix from US house legend John Tejada. Beartrax has already rebased on Motek Music, Lost Diaries and Deeper Love and makes a real impression here.

The US house legend and Kompakt regular that is John Tejada opens the EP with the moody and synth laden Clarity remix. It is a roller that takes you deep and has lush chords stretching to the heavens. Clarity in original form is a tender, piano laden tune with a vulnerable vibe and deep, resonating bass. Last up is Haunted Chalice, a track with a rasping lead synth that mesmerises as the warm drums roll on below.

Beartrax is back on his own taste-making electronic label Melodize with a pair of fantastic new singles that get fine remix treatment by the cult underground figure that is Carl Finlow.

American Beartrax has been experimenting with electronic music for 10 years now, and has built up a fine reputation and discography that often leads to Beatport chart toppers and gets big support from high profile DJs.

Up first is Dream Riff, a low key roller with nice melancholic pads and crisp, crunchy hi hats as well as killer bass. It's a melodic musing that really carries your mind away from this world while keeping your body locked to the drums. Remixing is Carl Finlow, who has been an electro mainstay for decades. His version is haunting and minimal, with spooky bass notes and clacking hits that makes for a deep and atmospheric jam. Repentance closes out with nagging bass and a lead melody that is cautiously optimistic.

This is another classy EP from all involved.

PAWSA is a man making waves across the globe, with his charismatic style and unmistakable flair in commanding dancefloors. Cue PAWZ013 - two club ready, vinyl only weapons that clearly demonstrate PAWSA's power.

Kicking things off, the A side houses 'On Yer Feet' showcasing a beautiful simplicity in PAWSA's production, proving that when every element works in synergy, there's no need to clutter a mix. Marrying a rolling beat and crisp percussion with a bass weight that drives the track, the foundations are laid for an infectious, mantra-like vocal to capture minds and move bodies. The vocal breakdown is destined to be the catalyst for fabled club sit downs the world over, with the drop providing sure fire hands in the air euphoria.

On the B side a brooding, machine evoking bassline and thumping kick are complimented with claps and hats that cut right through in 'For The Few'. Adding in off beat synth stabs, the combination with the mechanical bass is bound to draw dancers into a trance inducing state.

Extra Credit is the project of three of electronic music’s greatest exponents; legendary NYC DJ and producer Justin Strauss, London DJ and producer Marcus Marr and Hot Chip’s Joe Goddard; one of dance music’s greatest polymaths.

Up The Stuss founder Chris Stussy joins forces with Mandar’s S.A.M. as the pair deliver their debut collaborative project, 'Get Together’. A rich body of work fusing both artist's unique sound palettes to reveal immersive soundscapes blended with addictive grooves and seductive melodies, the eight track project showcases a collection of timeless cuts for the club and beyond from two of the most exciting names within house music.

Following in the footsteps of Midland,Dusky, Bicep, and Glimpse, Leon Vynehall is next in line to join Aus's early-2013 run of highly anticipated and sought after releases. Over the course of two EPs on Brighton's Well Rounded Housing Project and an acclaimed two-tracker on George Fitzgerald's ManMakeMusic imprint (Gold Language / Don't Know Why) Leon Vynehall has established himself as more than just your average dance producer: he's established himself as a genuine artist, whose approach to production carves its own unique path, regardless of expectation or reaction, as he himself admits, 'I like chords, I like atmosphere and some sort of emotion in music. Rather than it being just about the dance floor, I like it being a bit of both. I like to take a sound and change it, manipulating things so they sound a bit dusty. With drums, I like to make them sound more human. I prefer dance music that isn't quantized, regimented, and super mixed down to the nano-perfect spot. I'm a believer in the fact that music doesn't have to sound professional to sound great. Mastering engineers hate me.' The 'Brother / Sister EP', due on June 10th, is a master class in rough and ready house music - the A-side is a brutal, hook-fuelled rhythm that has already been destroying clubs in Saul's own sets, while the flipside - born of the same rugged percussion - is balanced with an undeniable beauty and melodic character that many contemporaries would struggle to pull off. Listeners of his XLR8R podcast from February this year will recognise 'Brother,' and after much speculation will be glad to know of its imminent release, while both sides of the 12 also received their first radio airplay in Aus boss Will Saul's recent BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix.

Renaissance recruit Tale of Us for the second the second edition of their quarterly-century celebrations.With the first release in this series occupying #1 status for 6 weeks last summer, Renaissance are back with the second instalment of their 25th Anniversary 'The Remix Collection' project. For the follow-up to Solomun's immense reworking of Age Of Love, Renaissance have bagged more Techno royalty in the shape of Italian duo Tale Of Us, to take on the huge task of remixing another iconic 90's classic.The track in question is the legendary 'Café Del Mar' by the 90's trance project, Energy 52. Much alike the previous remix by Solomun, it seems Tale Of Us also have their work cut out for them, as this track has had no shortage of remixes over the years. However, the popularity of 'Café Del Mar' is not simply reflected through its remix roster. Named after the iconic bar at the heart of the Ibiza clubbing scene, it was the soundtrack to the rave-culture movie, 'Human Traffic' in 1999. In addition to this 'Café Del Mar' later went on to be voted #1 in MixMag's 2001 '500 Best Tracks Ever' list.With this second remix, Tale of Us take the classic elements that made Café Del Mar such a huge track in the 90's, bringing them into the present-day with big licks of bass and a huge crescendo. Carrying forward the focus of the series, this remix refreshes the iconic track for a new generation of listeners. Harry Wolfman has been a staple member of the Dirt Crew family since his debut collaboration with Loz Goddard in 2016. We’ve since seen considerable growth with EPs on Phonica’s “Karakul”, “Omena” and “Outplay” all lending a hand to the development of his signature sound into its now established lo-fi style, delving into a range of genres... ethereal ambience, electro and left-field rhythms, and of course deep, often break beat laden house grooves.
This new EP is no exception, Harry drops some irresistible dance tunes with “Walk With Me” and the banging title track “Sly Contrast” but also explores the boundaries of his palette with the vocal interludes “A21z” and the majestic “Courage” featuring the voice of “Mona Vale”, dipping a toe into the floaty world of lo-fi pop.
We also find ambient and Jazz elements cleverly combined in “Fhloston Paradise”. And the closing drum break joint “Wokit Shep” loops live drums, strings, piano and brass elements, twirling towards a majestic finale reminiscing dusty jazzy Trip Hop and instrumental Hip Hop pieces.
This record offers hope for better times... we are really glad to have Harry back with these strong tunes and can’t wait to hear these out again on a juicy sound system. Enjoy!

Adlibitum Tum Tunes debuts as the new sublabel from Mixcult Records, focused entirely on refined, well-crafted deep house. Farid Odilbekov opens the gate with his EP “Annex” letting in elements like sharp rhythm shuffles, spoken-word vocals and a very distinctive bassline that can set to motion even the numbest bodies. Slices of a Dog’s Records third release is by our favorite dawg on the planet right now: Jarren from LA, who takes all of that legendary g-phonk legacy from his hometown, and transforms it into something very contemporary and fresh, crafted with tons and tons of style and finesse. This one is something more than a debut EP, displaying Jarren’s talent, skills, culture, and fine taste, over a diverse range of styles: from that fat funk, to uplifting house, to old school electro vibes u can easily pop-lock to. As a plus, the project features guest musicians appearances from veteran maestro Jacob “JD” Crouch on sax, LA legend Bendek on guitar, and label’s co-founder Brothermartino on flutes.

Saturn Drive is back with their second installment by Dutch veteran, Lauhaus. Title track “Mel Gibson” is a tech-house anthem which made it's rounds in the ibiza circuit, pre-covid, more notably at Circo Loco compliments of Seth Troxler. Second track, Seance, is a late night trippy banger built to hit bodies and minds. B-side “Taste Buds” comes with a vinyl only original version which brings a funky touch to the catchy vocal and spaced out ambient. The remix, by the mighty Ray Okpara, delves into minimal psychedelia to great effect.

This June Session Victim return to Jimpster's ' Delusions Of Grandeur' imprint with a third studio album. 'Listen To Your Heart' is the result of a year of cross-continental scripting, started in their Hamburg studio and wrapped up stateside in San Francisco's Room G Studios where the duo had worked on their 2014 LP 'See you When You Get There'.

Sampling still remains an ever present backbone throughout the album. Session Victim have dug deep for sounds, resulting in a richly detailed and organic sound collage that goes hand-in-hand with their live instrumentation, this time enhanced through several guest musician appearances, most notably Carsten "Erobique" Meyer (ex-International Pony). Smooth guitar samples are built up on 'Over and Over' while on 'Moons & Flowers' the live instrumentals that Session Victim do so well come to the fore.

The treasure trove of San Francisco's record shops proved to be a hard bait to resist and the pair spent a large part of their Californian time hunting for records to sample. Three new tracks emerged from these digging sessions, with the sweeping disco string arrangements on 'Shadows' standing out as a prime ode to days spent combing through bargain bins.

Listen To Your Heart is equally a product of the road. While heavy touring is often cited as a hindrance to the creativity of artists, Session Victim see their live shows as a catalyst to their creativity. Two US tours in 2016 gave the Hamburg duo the opportunity to take track sketches and fragments on the road to incorporate into their live shows and then digest them back in the studio. The playful funk soaked groove of 'Matching Half' captures the sense of movement present throughout Listen To Your Heart and the LP mix of 'Up To Rise', which caused heavy ripples when it dropped as part of 2016's Matching Half EP is an extension of the upbeat and euphoric groove

Veteran German duo and masters of the deep TIEFSCHWARZ bring an infectious double header to Suara complete with remixes from Sinfol and Marco Faraone.

‘Some Thing’ opens up with a saturated big room belter. An intensity built through analogue weight, sonar pulses and glitching synth sounds trade off against fiery cymbals and peppered rim shots. That enigmatic vocal reverberates through the ether, giving an deep and mysterious touch to the track.

Next up, ‘Thinking Of You’ treads a more cerebral path, twisting it’s way through the mind with surging yet soft pads, fizzing rides and siren-like swells. Sci fi tuned vocals add a touch of dystopian darkness to this intergalactic treat.

On the B side, Sinfol steps up to turn ‘Thinking Of You’ into a harder hitting industrial bomb complete with throbbing strings, monstrous synthlines and firecracker percussion, distorting the vocals to add even more menace. Finally, Italy’s Marco Faraone takes ‘Some Thing’ into roller territory with a mesmerising groove powered by a thumping kick that works magically with that mystifying vocal.

SW11 brings together fourteen artists with divergent styles of electronic music.
From energetic frequencies to thoughtful melodies, the Secret Weapons Part 11 provides a mixture of different approaches to the musical creative process by new and familiar faces.

A work 12 months in the making, Adam Beyer continues his exciting series of collaborative EPs, teaming up with heavy-hitters Pig&Dan for an multi-faceted four-tracker.
Chances are up if you spied Adam Beyer in an airport departure lounge over the past 12 months, he'd have his head buried in his laptop, immersed in creating sound sketches.

A long-time fan of collaborations, the Drumcode chief has been on an inspiring streak of form lately, teaming up with the likes of Mark Reeve, Dense & Pika and now Pig&Dan. The results have been compelling, to say the least.

In trademark perfectionist Beyer style, the title track 'Capsule' - a
shimmering slice of techno - involved "around 15 different versions" the track rigorously road tested by the Swede and featured in episodes of Drumcode Radio to test dancefloor reactions, before finally getting the sign off.

'In Love' is a big room techno groover, driven by crisp drums and the kind of evocative vocal effect that'll have hairs standing on ends.'Atmosfear' is true to its name, centered on a menacing synth line and gritty percussion, its deep kicks and subterranean bass combining superbly to create a heady dancefloor brew. 'We Are E' is propelled by a catchy synth hook and a classic call-to-arms vocal, which tips its cap to the artists' shared love of classic UK rave.'Dan's a cool cat. Early in the piece I found out he actually played a role in producing an early Stone Roses album - they're one of my all-time favourite Brit Pop acts. He also used to be an old drum'n'bass producer for many years in London throughout the '90s. If you listen to the track 'We Are E', that's very UK rave inspired.

That's common ground we both have, as I was heavily into D&B and jungle. We spent a lot of time talking about old records and samples. It was fun finding out we share similar interests." - Adam Beyer

The first artist to see his music engraved in black plastic is our long time favourite duo Alexxei 'n' Nig, which delivers a carefully crafted piece of deep house that sounds like played by an orchestra, with violins, trumpets and a piano and that brings the usual, dubbygroovy feeling of the italo-russian guys to a new, more melodic level.

AUX88 did it......They Brought the first of the Mad Scientist Cd Release tracks from there pivotal LP. Finally original mixes on vinyl. AUX88 proves once again not only are they one of the best live bands in electronic music, but one of the genres funkiest groups in the world......continuing where Cybotron and Drexciya left off to a style all their own. Aux88 along with Drexciya single handily brought the electro genre back in the late 80’s

1) "Voice Modulation"- Vocals are what set Aux88 apart from everyone else; the beat is dark and precise with thumping bass line.

2) "Mad Scientist"- K-1 on vocals shows you why they loved making this LP and tour everything was used on these tracks analog and digital........................Mad Scientist they have created a true masterpiece. The Lp was dedicated to the late James Stinson

The brand new WOLF Music release features the talents of Dutch wonder kid Frits Wentink. At only 23, his unique take on house music extends well beyond his years.


The EP leads with 'Mouse', a peak time dancefloor track that has been causing damage on dancefloors across Europe in the months leading up to this release. The deep hypnotic grooves that can be found on 'One Mouse' carry on throughout 'Mice' & 'Mices'. With vocal snippets, driving basslines and Frits' rich production techniques once again creating two great tracks that are crying out to be heard on a large sound system at 3am. Don't forget, all mice stink alike.

Frits Wentink hails from Ultrecht in Holland where he studied audio design. Growing up on a diet of Madlib & Pete Rock before gravitating to more electronic sounds. Quickly gaining a reputation not only for his unique productions, but for his live sets as well. Not content with standing behind a laptop screen, his live setup contains a 16 channel mixer, synths and homemade midi controllers. Designing his devices in a way that it is easier for the audience to imagine how he controls the sounds, giving the audience a more intuitive idea of what he is doing live.

Holic Trax has established itself as a respected, no nonsense outlet for quality house and techno and that carries on here with a new EP from Keita Sano that comes on a limited
edition run of coloured vinyl. Keita Sano is based in Okayama, Japan and has previously released on labels such as
NYC's Mister Saturday Night and Hugo Capablanca's Discos Capablanca. Here he presents his latest single for the ever excellent Holic Trax in raw and excellent fashion.
Up first, 'Flowers From Your Grave' is a gritty number with tough drums, Detroit inspired pads and plenty of physicality in the groove. Crisp and dynamic, it's a robust house cut, for sure.
'Let's Stay Together' is a more party sounding offering with atmospheric ambience in the back ground as streaming Rhodes chords and organic percussion set a Moodymann style
vibe front and centre. Then comes 'Night Walking', which flips the script again, this time sinking down into a warm,
propulsive deep house vibe with bold but soft edged chords, driving drums and engaging hand claps. Lastly, vinyl only cut 'Exit'
is a prickly, raw and frazzled acid number with phased
basslines, panning 303 squelches and plenty of wallop in its bones. This is a fine EP that is sure to make a big impact on the dance floor.

Topping off an incredible run that included last year's releases SICKO (KOMPAKT 322) and YOU ARE A BLADE (KOMPAKT 343), UK producer and long-time Kompakt ally REX THE DOG presents two brand new jams on TEUFELSBERG - this latest offering connects the dots between the powerful, melody-driven techno of Rex's earlier works and his current set-up that favors muscular, raw tracks with a distinctive analog bite. The latter is no accident, as Rex has become increasingly involved in DIY synth design, building his own modular hardware for studio and live use. Title cut TEUFELSBERG starts off lean and mean, quickly establishing momentum with propulsive beats and a simple, but seriously effective bass line - the track's main protagonist, however, is a sweeping melody blowing up for the track's entire run time, an utterly scenic synth job that doesn't even flinch from a ground zero break. Meanwhile, the flip side shells out a proper rave whacking with industrial-infused banger SHORTWAVE - another relentlessl piece of prime time techno that is as monolithic as it is playful.

'Psych', the long-awaited Freaks album released in 2014 gets a re-release in 2015 with some brand new remixes.
Freaks, a musical partnership between Luke Solomon and Justin Harris that's spanned twenty years and includes the Music For Freaks label, four albums, and an avalanche of singles on the likes of Playhouse and Hot Creations to Crosstown Rebels, News and International Deejay Gigolos. The album was released to rave reviews and featured a much awaited gathering of material from the late 00s onwards, including collaborations with Robert Owens, Stella Attar and Diz Washington.
This 12" includes interpretations from Dave Aju, Jamie 3:26 and Freaks.For over a decade, San Francisco innovator and a vital part of Circus Company, Dave Aju has been producing and performing his unique brand of electronic dance music, a consistently fresh and expressive sound.
His remix of 'Situations' makes no exception, a strong piece of jacking house music with bubbling sub bass, strong raw percussive beats, and an effective use of Diz' vocals and the flute sound. On the B Side 'Misfits' is reworked by Chicago's master Jamie 3:26 who turns the tune into an acid house monster and by Freaks themselves who extend their Original version for dance floor action. Stefan Schwander has been releasing his heavily processed and sequenced take on African music and American minimalism under his Harmonious Thelonious moniker since 2008. His new EP on meakusma is only the second one on a non-German label. On two tracks, Schwander takes his trademark rhythmically and melodically repetitive sound into straightforward Techno territory, although some heavy phasing gives the raw power and stoic repetition of these tracks an ambientish, post-club feel. Two other tracks further develop his typically eclectic and informed sound, playing live organ on one of them, displaying a jittery and jumpy rhythmic style that looks for a groove that until now did not exist. Jesse Hackett, a.k.a. Elmore Judd, delivers a remix that takes the original firmly into 'My Life In The Bush Of Ghosts' territory, giving melody and rhythm a more open sense of space, and layering it with vocal samples to further add to a sense of Funk alienation. This is serious and exhilarating music!

Two Hot Creations titans will team up with a renowned singer-songwriter next month, as Lee Foss, Detlef and Anabel Englund collaborate on the two-track Thunder & Lightning. Set for release on 20th November, the EP marks the trio’s debut collaboration and sees Lee and Anabel return to the label for the first time in six years.

Thunder & Lightning sets the tone, with hard-hitting drums residing atop a subtle underlying bassline. Anabel’s stunning vocals soon stir up feelings of intensity and resilience, before the infectious kick-hat backbone comes back in to form an emotive, dancefloor cut. Enzo Siragusa and FUSE launch new label LOCUS this June, with the debut EP coming via hotly tipped talent KOKO.

Having recently unveiled a new-look aesthetic for his long-standing and highly influential FUSE imprint, Enzo Siragusa and the FUSE team will now turn their attention to fresh project and brand-new label - LOCUS - with the definition of the label’s namesake matching their ambition to create a new and refreshing home for exclusive underground electronic music whilst delivering high quality parties, just as FUSE has done so over the past 12 years. With an ethos of exploring all shades of house music with the dancefloor at the forefront of its thinking, LOCUS looks set to house the very best in four-to-the-floor club music from both established talents and rising stars alike, with the first EP on the label arriving this summer courtesy of Infuse regular and ever-impressing Italian DJ and producer, KOKO.

Opening with the infectious ‘Chantal’ alongside Brooklyn-based vocalist Quelle Rox, the Italian’s penchant for rich and dynamic soundscapes from across the house sphere quickly becomes apparent as he fuses resonant synths and refined drum licks beneath infectious vocals for a sun-kissed opener. Next, ‘Your Ass, My Camel Blue’ welcomes fluid electric piano lines and icy hats atop of a snaking bassline, before journeying into the luscious chords, sultry rhythms and resonant sax-riffs of ‘Love in Plexiglass’. French-native Malikk debuts on Hot Creations this December with the two- track Heu Como Bailar. The EP continues a busy 2020 that has seen him release on labels such as LouLou Records and Two Many Rules.

The title track sets the tone, with punchy kicks sitting alongside driving hats. An irresistible 4x4 groove acts as the backbone, before the infectious Heu Como Bailar vocal helps whip the beat along. Rounding things off is Got The Body, an unapologetic dancefloor cut that you can’t help but dance to. UNCAGE’s label owner Marco Faraone drops his second album on Rekids, focusing on an unrestricted, unfiltered soundscape inspired by childhood, entitled ‘No Filter’.

Since his initial appearance on Radio Slave’s esteemed imprint in 2018, Italian artist and label boss Marco Faraone has continued to enthuse techno communities across the globe, playing at the likes of Awakenings, Caprices, Tomorrowland and Kappa FuturFestival. With previous releases on Ovum, Drumcode and Be As One, the Tuscany-born artist has garnered the support of Len Faki, Rodhad, Laurent Garnier and many more.

‘Force Deep’ and ‘Iconic’ give the senses a relaxed flush of ecstasy and lofi-esque rhythm, while tracks like ‘Night Ride’, ‘Addiction’ and ‘No Filter’ lean more on a stripped back, beat focused dub techno tip. ‘Frogface’, and ‘Time Equals Eternity’ then flurry with signature drum programming, and otherworldly synth stabs. Finally, ’Trust Me’, propel forward with after dark atmospheres, giving this versatile and luscious album that mainstay place amongst any unique techno set.

One of the most enjoyable parts of Dirtybird is to watch a talented artist grow. Nala started out in Miami cutting her teeth on the local DJ circuit and then moved to LA where she eventually signed with VonStroke and Aundy's Motherbird Management.

Her weekly Dirtybird "TV Party" on Twitch is one of the most popular shows on the network. Each week she features her unmistakeable punk & new wave-influenced DJ style while also hosting a special underground guest, as well as her long time friend and local LA rave legend, Richie Panic.

Nala’s debut on Dirtybird, “Psychic Attack”, is a gritty A-side with her own vocals shouting about the nervous the angst of 2020. The B-side, “Sun Is Hot” showcases her gentler side with a deep groove, a smooth vocal tone, and melodic vintage synth riffs throughout.

Head To Toe boss Ninetoes is next up on the famed Hot Creations as he makes his debut on the label this March. Geared for the dancefloor, Same Same is a solid two track release that sees the German native at the top of his game.

Title track and A-side Same Same is a bonafide feel good anthem that packs a heavy punch. Uplifting vocal samples lead the way over the rolling, minimal undertones. On the flip, Feel It kicks in with a deep and swinging bassline as subtle vocals drift in and out amidst dark, melodic keys.

Hailing from Stuttgart, Ninetoes arrived on the house music scene back in 2013 where his track Finder took Ibiza by storm. Releases and remixes soon followed on acclaimed labels such as Moon Harbour, DFTD, Crosstown Rebels, Avotre, Saved, Suara, Mobilee and Play It Down to name a few and were supported by the likes of Loco Dice, Carl Cox, Jesse Rose, Luciano, Davide Squillace and Koze. 2019 saw Ninetoes launch his own label ‘Head To Toe’, where the break out track for the label became one of the top 10 Shazam’d tracks in Ibiza that season. This year shows no sign of slowing down with a string of new music on the way.

HVOB release first live album and tour documentary

77 sold-out concerts in places such as Buenos Aires, New York, Mexico City, and the Funkhaus Berlin, stops in 34 countries and four continents: the Rocco world tour in 2019 once again underlined the role played by Vienna duo HVOB in the world of electronic music.

One of the highlights of the tour was in London on April 13, at the filled-to-capacity "Electric Brixton" music venue. The evening had already been planned in advance as an album, a lot of effort went into recording it in its entirety. "Live in London" will be the first live album by HVOB. It will be released on March 11.

A short documentary by Nicola von Leffern will be released at the same time as the album. The film director from Hamburg accompanied HVOB on tour and it delivers a very intimate, unfiltered insight into the musical lives and the routine aspects of touring for the normally publicity-shy HVOB duo Anna Müller and Paul Wallner.
HVOB are currently working on a new studio album that is provisionally scheduled for release in spring 2022.

Founded by Matthias Schildger & Carlo Ietri in 2013, Repeat is finally ready to conquer the world and bring it's sound to all music lovers out there.
The first imprint of the new label was made by Wigbert // Matt Star & Marvin (incl. Dorian Paic, Dragosh Rmxs) and is called - Play, Stop, Repeat'. It will be out very soon on vinyl and digital.
With the label comes a new booking agency which contains a nice mixture of already well known artists and a few fresh and talented ones.

Matt Stars long experience in production combined with the freshness of the very talented Marvin resulted in this deep and groovy track driven by some nice drums and a fat bassline. Dark Athmospheres meets broken beat dubbish minimalism is the best way to describe it.

Dragosh Remix:

Dragosh's interpretation of - In the Trees' is a more percussion orientated track wich will put a lot of smiles on the faces of dancers. Crispy, rhytmic and simply good.

For decades London has been a fertile breeding ground for innovative producers, inspiring generations of DJs, and this is certainly the case with blooming producer, Revivis. A name you will be sure to hear frequently over the next years as he continues to churn out high quality sounds on a host of acclaimed labels such as Cinthie’s We_r House, Okain’s Talman Records and Quality Vibe Records. Now based in Berlin, Revivis has notably begun to craft his personal sound, already sealing several releases over the coming period.

Neotropiq returns for its first release of 2021 with three tracks from Revivis, backed by a remix by the label’s boss, Silverlining. Swingin’, stripped-down and underground, the originals offer an undiluted house groove for every moment of the night. On the Silverlining remix, we can hear the Londoner’s signature

Brotherhood Sound System Records is back with the third solo EP on the label, this time coming courtesy of Swedish producer and electronic mastermind Nils Krogh, aka Arkajo.

He's made his mark on the dance music landscape as one half of the revered House, Techno and Electronica duo Genius Of Time, releasing on labels such as Aniara Recordings,
Running Back and Royal Oak.

The lead track on the EP, 'Panacea', is a prime demonstration of Krogh's ability to manipulate percussion whilst showcasing his well refined talents in the studio. Opening with thunderous kicks, off-kilter percussion and ominous atmospherics, the track quickly transitions into a stripped back club record with thick hats and claps underpinned by a brooding sub.

Elements begin to drift in and out as another horizon is teased, before the beat crescendos and sharply falls into a percussive heavy, head-nodding cut that introduces more
hits and undertones as it rolls on, drawing the listener further in.

On the flip, Krogh drops two tracks that are aptly named after his love for using tape decks in his productions. First up is 'Tape 8', a hypnotic cut of Dub-Techno inspired electronica, with rolling kicks and intelligent percussion layered neatly under delayed synths and tripped out sounds.

The pace is set in place by a carefully crafted off-beat hat and further reverb soaked percussion, allowing the track to explore deeper sonic territories as it progresses. Finally, 'Tape 15' takes things down a more minimalistic route, with repetitive and compelling percussive patterns sitting alongside drifting atmospherics.
A continuous but modulated synth loop pushes forward until a subtle clap pulls the track together as it moves forward.

It doesn't get much bigger than this: Adam Beyer links up with Green Velvet and Drumcode's outstanding rising star Layton Giordani for a debut collaboration.

Some musical partnerships feel fated. Both fans of one another's work, for years Adam Beyer and Green Velvet had discussed writing music together. In turn, Beyer's protégé Layton Giordani had admired the Chicagoan's work for as long as he could remember. When the 25-year-old found himself playing alongside the green mohawked legend at Belfast's Shine, the spark and subsequent friendship was immediate. With the links now set in place, it was only a matter of time before the trio's creative chemistry would manifest musically.

'Space Date' was conceived organically and birthed quickly. Propelled by Green Velvet's trademark vocal hypnotism, the triumvirate combine to craft a pumping intergalactic slice of techno laced in melody that's highlighted sets by Beyer at Awakenings, Ushuaia and also EDC Vegas when Green Velvet dropped it to a raucous response. The track is complimented by 'Rome Future', the product of a year-long series of productions between Beyer and Giordani. Deftly combining crisp drum work, catchy vocal effects and a powerful bassline melody that gives the track an almighty kick, it will be familiar to many who've followed their sets over recent months.

Prolific American artist Jon Hester returns to Rekids for the first instalment of his new album, ‘Converge’, this September.

Jon Hester grew up in the Midwest US, living in Chicago and Minneapolis while taking musical cues from Detroit. Initially he was a dancer, and later transitioned to the decks with a refined understanding of what it takes to move a club. He progressed to hosting his own events, holding residencies, and working at a record shop, and now brings his physical rhythms and adventurous drums to his productions, with output on respected labels such as Transmat, Deeply Rooted, Dystopian, Klockworks, and LET Recordings, not to mention multiple appearances on Rekids.

Continuing to show fine form on his debut album, Hester now serves up eight of his signature house and techno fusions with plenty of his trademark directness across four sides of vinyl. The superb 'Sending Signals' opens the album with scene-setting synth modulations full of sci-fi atmosphere. It's the calm before the storm as 'Metropolitan' then immediately sets off on a cantering groove that is eventually run through with busy, jazzy piano keys that bring the soul.

'Haze' has excellently taught kick drums with hypnotic synth tones adding colour, and features Hester on saxophone. When 'Rain' comes, things grow darker and more menacing, with shakers and urgent stabs keeping you moving at a slick pace.

The second half of this compelling record features the loopy punches and pulses of the super smooth 'Dreamstate', beautifully cosmic and widescreen techno of 'Free' and pensive but urgent deep electro of standout cut 'Flex.' Last of all, 'Equinox' is lit up with distant chords which bring a far-sighted gaze to the rolling, robust kicks.

Cin Cin opens it's 2019 account with the inspired pairing of Joe Goddard and Kiwi.

A production 'tour de force' over the last decade, Joe Goddard has had his fingers in many pies (Hot Chip, The 2 Bears, Greco-Roman Soundsystem to name but a few) but it's on this Cin Cin debut that he bares his solo chops and delivers something for the floor. The darker roots of acid house are channelled on 'Jack Come Back', with a rubbery bassline and churning keys loaded over the vintage drum machine rhythms as the deviant vocal calls out the track title. 'Moebius Trip' takes a headier journey through wave upon wave of melodic modular synthesis and crumpled beats, with a nod to Detroit's techno-soul heritage, whilst packing a punch with the energy levels.

Since bitten by the Techno bug some twenty years ago, Sammy Goosens aka Sierra Sam has been following the steady pulse of the kick drum. Soon his solo tracks caught the attention of legendary R&S Records label who signed him in 1997. James Pennigton aka Suburban Knight started to work with him, co-producing Suburban Knight's classic album - My Sol Dark Direction' for Peacefrog as well as as well as other remixes and singles.

More releases on renowned labels like Dirt Crew, Supplement Facts,Serialism, Upon You or Souvenir followed and resulted in a busy schedule, performing analogue live sets at some of the world's most revered clubs such as Fabric, Rex, Wood, Watergate or Berghain.

In May 2014, Sam teamed up with KiNK for a very special 3h20 improvised live jam at Watergate club Berlin which resulted in the - Live at Watergate' release in 2015. Apart from this, Sam has been busy producing tracks for Upon.You, Sound of Vast, Holic Trax and proveded a 32 tracks retrospective to Best's Friends.

ALEC TRONIQ tells himself off - with two fluffy and cheery smilemakers on base of light but raving rhythms. In "Rueffel" he's piping, drumming berserk and doing echoism. A sweet remix is delivered by STEREO EXPRESS from Atmosphere / Burlesque, well-known for their bombs "Shadoorack" and "La Vie En Rose". On B1 Alec crashes a russian wedding, kidnaps "Ljudmila" and entrains her to his own spring meadows. The groover on B2 is remixed by a guy named BUNCHED - cutting, stomping and constantly stepping forward. As a bonus there's a digital only "Behende Version" of the title track: more rave, less gadgets - with a free download code enclosed to the vinyl !

DC10 resident Tania Vulcano and her mate Jose De Divina add a deeper version to complete the release.
