youANDme is acclaimed collaborative project between Berlin based pair Martin and Daniel. They make raw, emotive underground sounds and Martin recently turned out a well received full length album on Ornaments that explored far and wide. They did official works for artists like Moodymann, Radio Slave, Seth Troxler, Lawrence and many others. They also run Rotary Cocktail and 3 other mysterious labels. 'Take Away' was written in summer 2014 with vocalist Black Soda from South Africa. The track is made from various hardware synth, and is filled with feeling. It is built on a bed of pinging drums and coarse claps, but the heaviness lifts with the arrival of Black Soda's breezy, spoken word vocals and some colourful xylophone like melodies. It's a proper underground anthem in the making, frankly. Then comes Loco Dice with his version. It is chunky, with grainy, sheet metal claps, twisted vocals and skewed synths that all make it robust and masculine. Sure to be massive when dropped in the right club, it is a fine bit of work from the boss. Pablo Bolivar then steps up to remix and flips the track into a more uptempo, gliding house cut with starry melodic patterns, punchy drums and filtered vox. It builds and builds to a peak and then implodes under emotive arps that are dotted left, right and centre, no doubt owning floors in the process.

We are very pleased to bring you this fantastic collaboration between Dubphone and Patrascu that includes three stunning pieces with their Talking Machines EP. The first track is Talking Machines and it shows an amazing combination of subtle grooves working in different layers where they integrate perfectly to each other among synth and percussions, making room also to the prominent vocal phrase lines that ends up being the main element during the short breaks, where everything is surrounded by a delightful minimalistic vibe. The second track, Chaos, presents a much more underground approach and its composed mainly of a percussive low-end and several backend textures that creates an amazing atmosphere and trippy feeling, but everything created with a superb production skill set by these two fantastic producers. At last we have a Dub Mix of Talking Machines, where we can appreciate this terrific piece without the vocal lines to take advantage of the rhythmic features and grooves this track has to offer.

Since I started to produce music in the mid 00's, I undoubtedly bought the idea of puzzling my productions into nice labels like a Tetris game. This 'survival of the fittest' thinking has under the years resulted in a whole bunch of works that I made a strong connection to, but that no one else never got the chance to do, ending up in an empty folder. There are so many times that I just feel to open up my heart and brain and let people that I have a connection to take part of it, and this is the closest that I can get. The sounds that I like: the warmth, the dust, the ugly, the distorted, broken and worm has been privileged for certain kind of music. Music that I love, but that I maybe not always can play when I got the chance. Those two ideas combined gave me the idea to set up a little imprint. I'm gonna name it Dirty Hands. What that mean is up to you. What it sounds like is also up to you, and that's why I wrote this instead of thoroughly describing the tracks.

Brothers Amedeo and Matteo Giovanelli aka Mathame have quickly garnered attention through their dusky, atmospheric Techno releases on illustrious underground labels such as Anagram, ARTS and Afterlife Records utilising a wide range of hardware (from cheap analogue synths to obscure drum machines) as well as their experience as visual artists to create their free-flowing, signature sound.

For its third instalment, Ethernal welcomes the brilliant Saudade. The French producer has carefully crafted three minimal cuts with an irresistible groove on analog machines. The whole is filled with tight stabs, strong drums and deep basses. On the remix duty, the one and only Brawther has made some serious damages with an intense reinterpretation of the main title Sknob.

Renowned Jazz musician Ulf Kleiner lands on Ian Pooley’s Pooled Music this April with ‘Tubes’Grande’ featuring three remixes from the label boss.

A long term collaborator of Pooley, lending rich keyboard work to the legendary producer’s records over the years, Ulf Kleiner is better known outside of electronic music. Taken from his 2020 LP, ‘Pianoskop’, ’Tubes Grande’ is a light but immersive piece of acoustic modern Jazz that, at just 3.36 minutes, begs repeat listens. Pooley’s interpretations, a ‘Main Version’, ‘Dub’ and ‘Analog Piano Dub Mix’ lead Kleiner’s work to the dancefloor in distinct ways, showing off the producers deft touch and studio experience across the package. From the decidedly organic, mid-paced house of the ‘Analog Piano Dub’ to the dense, electronic melodies of the ‘Main Version’ to the blissed out ‘Ian Pooley Dub’ this Pooley in the form of his career.

Hendrik Wilhelms first release saw the light of the day in 1989, when he was 16 years old. He founded Toolbox Music in Viernheim with 3 partners. All the first releases on labels like Compose Records, Generator Records, UCA, Time Unlimited, Urban, Boy Records a.o. were recorded in the Viernheim Studio. During the Nineties the studio moved to Walldorf at the Session Kulturwerk, where Hendrik Wilhelm produced more than 100 releases & remixes, plus live shows with Deaf Nuts (Stereophonie-BMG) & Studio 69 feat. Karl Frierson. One of their productions entered Hollywood, as an soundtrack for an animation-film. After the closing of Toolbox Music Hendrik Wilhelms constructed and was part of the establishment at the Anixe Studios at Musikpark Manneim. In 2008 he moved to Switzerland, where he nowadys live with his family, and where he still produce music with a wide window view in a beautiful green landscape.

Bart's EP kicks off with 'Brave New World', which uses pitch curved synth lines to create a unique groove before opening up the filter to be released back into the track. 'Hypnotizing' uses a percussion line that evolves into a melodic section within the breakdown that is supported by a catchy vocal line. 'New Ground' uses a trippy bleeps and a rolling drum beat to create a lively record. 'Cabana' is slightly different to the rest of the EP and offers a distinctive set-builder using a rising and diving synth line that is guaranteed to get people on the dancefloor.

The COVID 19 pandemic has given us some time to reflect and bake beats, loads of beats! Our main man, Felix Leifur, has been busy in the kitchen cooking up some steaming BROT heaters during his isolation in the middle of the North Atlantic.

BROT 05 holds five diverse cuts by Felix Leifur with one of those seeing Leifur joined onboard by a guest, the notorious dutchman Frits Wentink, adding his trademark glitched out wonkiness to proceedings.

Sintope bosses NTFO return to Bondage-Music to their ‘Esperantza’ EP. Title cut ‘Esperantza’ sees the duo go to work, fusing rolling, crisp percussion with rich sub-bass, before ‘Uppercut’ interjects, unveiling a production packed full of swing, reinforced by robust drum licks, skipping hats and sweeping synths.

On the flip, the first vinyl only cut ‘Lux’ reveals a smooth, stripped back effort, with lush, deep pads floating effortlessly over hazy background textures, whilst the electro influenced ‘Avoid’ closing things out in fine fashion, as trickling lead lines flow amongst and intricate organic percussion patterns across seven minutes.

Months after their debut release, Bosconi Soundsystem is back with another killer package. The Italian production trio, consisting of Rufus, Mass Prod and Bosconi boss Fabio Della Torre, perk up here with Unrequested States of Bliss, a 2 x 12" offering that's packed from start to finish with spectacular dancefloor-ready cuts. The title reflects the contents of the album: psychedelic and minimal techno and electro music on a deep and dark tip that speaks to both the mind and the soul. The action kicks off with "Serotonin", a driving tech house jam that's full of driving, spacey atmospheric overtones. "Eclipsed" is a more introspective cut, while on the flip you'll find the anthemic swing of the utterly outrageous "Scaccomatto" and the psychotic electro of "Minor Thinking". The C side opens with the cavernous bass riffs and the ghostly voices of "Gravel Fire", followed by the funky grooves and twisted synth lines of "No Flowers". An unusual breakbeat track, it marks an interesting turn of direction of a release filled with intriguing motifs from the off. "Blackout" opens amongst a claustrophionic vibe, before things come down a peg or two on the dreamy, celestial strands of "Mandibola"

We have been really impressed by his releases on Dockside & Hizou, his music expresses perfectly our= essential vision of dark subtle and Intimate afterhour- like club sound with his edgy elegant and minimalistic approach over a raw and gritty sound recording, and especially our meaning of "groove", the whole enriched by his aquatic and unmissable original touch. It has been hard to make a decision over the wide selection of tracks from this ultra prolific producer who has actually a long history and background into the detroit techno scene, collaborating in the past for such labels as Transmat and managing the Buy Rite Records shop. What you'll find here it's basically what truly sounded to us as tough and timeless: the EP starts with the rollin funky blues of Kreatorz, while the second cut of A side is taken by the detroit driving trippy tool of Quincee; on the B side instead you'll find the techier dirty and hypnotic stripped down groove of E Way and the conclusive vocal house track of the record called Ucanb which goes more soulful

The A1, named after the release title, is a summer techno drive, or a ride through a hot landscape in centralamerica, as the notes of marimba suggest. After their featuring on Kyle Hall's Boat Party EP, the Bologna based duo Nas1 join the Bosconi Family with a lush six tracks vinyl strongly influenced by contemporary detroit house. A side starts with the chuggin and moody beat of "Black Coffee", then continues with the stomping and sexy midtempo of "I Don't Mind" and ends with the more mysterious, electroboogie raw jam of "Dallas Vertical Roll". On the flip we find the slapped roadhouse blues of MadTurkey followed by the twisted Gifted & Blessed's re-interpretation of "I Don't Mind". The EP ends with the melancholic and soulful textures of the shuffle groover "Hoarse Presence". Tasty!.

Bosconi Records has long been renowned as arguably Italy's foremost exporter of house and techno music. 10 years in, they celebrate one decade in the game courtesy of 'Bosconi Stallions Volume 2', a 3 x 12' release that features some of the label's most prominent names. 5 years after the inaugural 'Stallions' release, 'Vol.2' is a timely reminder of the talents of one of electronic music's most consistent labels. Before we get to the music, a word for the artist. Bosconi's iconic stallion is presented again, this time by none other than Silvano 'Nano' Campeggi. In case you're unaware of the man's work, Campeggi is one of Italy's most renowned contemporary artists. Active since the 50s, he has portrayed cultural icons such as Marilyn Monroe and designed 'Ben Hur''s iconic advertisements, which is where he first developed his famous horses concept. His iconic images are associated with the golden era of Hollywood, and he also worked on artwork for the likes of 'Napoleon' and 'Casablanca'.Suffice to say, stunning artwork should only be matched with stunning music, and 'Bosconi Stallions Volume 2' is very much a triumph in this regard too. From Nas1, who kicks off the release courtesy of the brilliantly bleepy 'Peli Peli' (complete with 8-bit sounds) to A Guy Called Gerald, whose 'Always' sees him welcomed back to the Bosconi fold in emphatic fashion to label boss Fabio Della Torre (who perks up under his Minimono project alongside Ennio Colaci with 'Pandora Peaks'), this is a release that's stuffed to the brim with high-quality electronica.

The likes of Riccio ('Get It On') and Rei Loci (the suitably named '808') are reminders of the label's ability to introduce new talents, whereas British tech-house stalwart 100hz shows he's lost none of his panache on 'Tenderness' and Rufus (a member of Bosconi Soundsystem alongside Della Torre and Mass Prod) impresses on the haunting, eerie tones of 'Under the Line'. Mass Prod is another individual who makes a stunning solo addition here, with 'Mathemagix' a frankly mental piece of music that has to be heard to be believed.

The release is full of surprises too. Life's Track (aka Herva & Dukwa) impress on the chaotic, UK-inspired strands of 'Wasting My Time', while Herva's gorgeous 'Crash Point' makes for a fitting finale. Elsewhere, up-tempo cuts from Dukwa ('Thanks Daddy'), Bosconi Soundsystem ('Tutto Gas) and Soutine ft. The Clover ('Florence Shuffle') ensure the listener stays enthralled throughout. A package that features a plethora of exciting sounds, the much-anticipated second 'Stallions' series is a real joy from start to finish.

A figure at the heart of the Parisian scene, Yoyaku favourite Janeret readies the third release on Chris Stussy’s blossoming Up The Stuss imprint as he delivers his four-track ‘Difference’ EP - a classy journey through slick garage-tinged melodies, dubby immersive textures, and rich house flavours.

Renowned live artist and Premiesku member Floog delivers four shimmering microhouse cuts on Archie Hamilton’s Moscow Records this September. Hailing from the vibrantly active house and techno scene of Romania, Floog has established himself as one of the country’s most distinguished artists with releases on labels like Mulen Records, Atipic, Joule and MEOKO. One third of the Premiesku group alongside Livio & Roby, he has specialised in capturing the infectious rhythm of drum machines and analogue synths with regular support from Apollonia, Petre Inspirescu, Raresh, Priku, Sonja Moonear, and many more.‘The Gathering’ kick starts the release with layered claps, a low-end analogue hook and tantalising high stabs, before ‘Balance Right’ continues his signature minimal aesthetic with sparkling bleeps, sweeping vocals and a catchy synth loop. On the flip ‘Amiba Ta’ gives an eerie feel whilst tight drums lock in the groove, until finally ‘Sepe Patru’ closes the package with decayed voices, bouncing side-chained bass and saturated snare layers.

After the two stunning Tenenement Yard albums on Eye4Eye, Altered Natives comes back on Bosconi releasinganother strong three tracker ep full of pagan and mythological inspiration called 'The Fates'. As the artist says,this EP was based on the Moirae, the 3 Greek/Roman goddesses who controlled fate. The Greek word Moirae iterally means a part or portion, and by extension one's portion in life or destiny. They controlled the metaphorical thread of life of every mortal from birth to death, so each track as be named for each one of them: the dark bass house anthem that opens the ep is Nona Clotho, who spun the thread of life from her distaff onto her spindle.

With no need for further introduction, the legendary Cleveland and now Berlin based producer Dan Curtin lands on Fabio Della Torre's Tuscan label Bosconi with 2 previously unreleased gems from his 90's DAT archive. The release is further enriched by Curtin's very first live rework of one of the tunes. After Releasing on such labels as Headspace, 7th Sign, and Sublime and with the recent repress of his historic Silicon Dawn album on Peacefrog including the supremely modern Population 2, here comes the previously unreleased Population III which moves even more forward into the outer realms of space and time. On the long side the farsighted and futuristic Metamorphic label boss delivers this marvelous continuation of the previous version taking it more into straight forward techno and even further into deep minded synth experimentation and acid bleeping. On the Flip we have a modern live rework of Population III which Dan has been playing around the world in his current live set. The live version goes a bit more into electroid landscapes but still maintains a straight groove for electro and techno purists most playful moments. The third cut is the epic acid banger and previously unreleased Redshift, showing already at those times that Dan Curtin was defying conventions and pushing boundaries and pioneering what we can now consider modern dance music while displaying melting innovation and deeply felt emotional content at the same time.

After several releases as Minimono & Quitefrut, finally, Fabio della Torre, Bosconi Label boss and dj resident since 1995 at Tenax club in Firenze, finally shows up on the Label with his own club-music project and artist name. The Ep, containing 4 tracks of proper, sincere raw and hypnotic dub techno, has also delighted by an outstanding afterhour playa time remix of 'Mr. Analogue Solutions' Eduardo De La Calle. As Fabio Della Torre, Corcos last solo release on his much-respected Bosconi label came out in 2012. Almost seven years later, Della Torre reprises the alias here, returning to his home label in stunning fashion courtesy of the sumptuous, brilliant and always innovative sounds of Bosco042.

We kick off with 'What's the Case', a hypnotic, minimal wiggler that maintains a strong after-hours vibe throughout the course of its 7-and-a-half minutes. A trippy voyage into the producer's more restrained and foreboding side, it's a slick, sleek excursion that's full of multiple twists and turns throughout. Weird but most definitely wonderful, it's sure to go down a treat with discerning DJs especially, with its swinging groove sure to prove a particular treat.

The B side then kicks off via 'Down on Time', an unrelenting, jacking cut that's indicative of the early work of minimal techno pioneer, Robert Hood. A jacking, booty-shaking jam that features more than its fair share of oldschool vibes, this track is indicative of a side that the producer rarely showcases — but one that he's evidently more than capable of showcasing. Rough, ready and most definitely effective, it features the Bosconi owner at his up-tempo best.

'Monster Knight' culminates the EP courtesy of an uplifting, electro-inspired jam that's catchy and banging throughout. Notable for its elastic baseline and flashy, rhythmic elements, it brilliantly closes a fantastically eclectic EP that demonstrates three sides of the producer's sound in some fashion.

Martino Marini aka Mass Prod contributed to spread the seeds of the Bosconi Records nationally and internationally. Unforgettable are his early releases 'Bosconi Groove' and 'Paris,Texas' which gained a great success, especially thanks to the track '72 Minutes Of Scrubs A Day'. After many years of studying in consevatory of electronic music and improving his already exceptional skills within music production and composition, between a freaked out IDMish album on his own Wo Land label, releases with Herva on Kontra Musik, Marmo Music with the Tru West- The Leftovers projects and the Nightdrivers records with Rufus, the prodigal son is finally back with an edgy four tracker of pure anti-romanticism named 'Ears In My Eyes': the record starts with the perlonish, groovy and funky minimal house jam of Marmeria Mornings feat Vash (collaborator at Marmeria Studios in Genova and well known synth repairer in Italy), while on the second cut there are the sexy, electroish and ultra catchy SH101 bass line riffs of the title track 'Ears In My Eyes'. On the flip side instead let's get back to some swinging beats with the trippy and mysterious atmospheres of 'Marmeria Nights' while on the final cut more electro with another flying, rough and subliminal machine funk winner to close up this release called 'Aria Fredda'. It's been a long awaited one!

Bosconi is back with his third release featuring the naughty QuitèFruT guys, label boss Fabio della Torre and his parisian-berliner mate Mattako. The orginal tracks are the spontaneous results of two afterhourmakingmusic studio sessions and what came out are two proper minimal kickass bass throbbers, dry but fat dj-tool house that take inspiration from Daniel Bell, Baby Ford, Zip and Mike Ink works.

After the release on french label Basse Resolution and after a couple of years since his last Ep on Bosconi, having released with the 'Under The Line' track one of the highlights of our latest 10 years compilation and as BSS together with his mates Fabio Della Torre and Mass Prod, Rufus is back on Bosconi with a new four tracker record which goes on a new direction compared to the past music he did. 'Ritual Chants' was mainly recorded in the abandoned industrial area of Milan called Bovisa and probably for this reason the release sounds all around a bit sci fi, cinematic and especially gothic. All begins with the raw techno jam of 'Fast Rituals' where structured mellow and dreamy synth lines combine with the dusty, aggressive and driving rhythmical transportation of its drum section. Fast Rituals is one of those electronic pieces which tells you a story from the beginning till the end, so please pay attention to it. 'Sapere Sparare' looks calmer but actually has the more mental and psychotic feeling of the whole record, driven by an intoxicating and fat bass line, rough jazzy beats and a lot of twisted out fm synths goodness whose times are punctuated twice by the warning female vocal theme of the track. 'Last Shot #5' instead is a jacked out, hypnotic and darker broken house track dense of pumping low ends and subtle but glorious synth riffs properly made for the late hours and totally in the vein of a Baby Ford - Minimal Man production.'Tenebre" closes up the EP with its horror movie atmosphere, drilling drones here and there, big bouncy bass lines, reverberated snares, drama strings and a dominant sinister melody which slightly reminds of some old DBX track.

Teona will lead the third and penultimate Stallions gallop along with home Bosconi Records. Starting from Dry Scream by Alex Picone, a forest full of warm sounds and rough that only analogue instruments and a tape recording can give. Follows, always on side A, Quanto tempo ci rimane a track of the mysterious matrix Nightdrivers edited in terms of house by label boss Fabio Corcos. KiNK returns with the second release on the still puerile label Sofia. The second of many to come, „Nagore“ features four tracks again that are incentive, innovative and ingenious at the same time. Based on the incantations of KiNK and guests like Red Eye, Kei and Sofia’s guiding spirit DJ Valentine, you get a mix of free-flowing techno, bass bumpers, ravey IDM tropes and pitch-wheel house or four smart bombs, if you will. Graced with technical prowess and creative powers, this is once more proof that the man cannot set a foot wrong. Remember the future!

SOFIA: Founded by Strahil Velchev and Konstantin Petrov, Sofia is not only the physical location where this music was made, the city where they met and developed as artists, but also a paradox that is reflected in the art and music that comes from the place. Beautiful and ugly at the same time, clean and dirty, brutal as well as romantic, it’s a place where aesthetically seemingly incompatible styles come together in a twisted, yet unifying form. The photographs for the sleeves are made by influential local selector DJ Valentine, effortlessly capturing the local reality.

This is a city of contradicting systems and clashing elements. Its morphology becomes a direct representation of a poly-rhythmic frenzy, avoiding any attempt of crystallization into a single entity. Hi hats become columns, snares turn into repeating arcades and drum kicks form encompassing volumes.
This is the architecture of the absurd, where reality as a single vision is no longer possible. As music helps us escape our bound dimension through obsessive repetitions, this city wants to be a materialization of this transcendental power.

We wonder what this year will bring if the kick-off is already on such a high level Ricardo Tobar's first remix 12 comes with two stunning re-arrangements by Fairmont and Tech-House grandmaster John Tejada. The canadian minimal techno hero Fairmont remixed Tobars Angora' and gave it such a strong Border Community vibe. Dark but at the same time pushing and hedonistic. Fairmont starts off with a subtle percussion-beat-acid-combination and turns his remix into a proper and mad electronic masterpiece the longer it runs. Epic! Californian tech-house pioneer John Tejada is on remix-duty for Invierno' and he blasts us away with the result. Deeper than deep and kick-ass house with a pushing detroit and KMS vibe. This one almost appears like a lost & found alltime techno and house classic and it will hit the Zeitgeist in Berlin, London, New York and Tokyo like no other release on Cocoon Recordings lately. New imprint beam dump curated and run by Chris Geschwindner starts its operation with the usual madness. Following the idea of a beam dump, a device that captures and dissipates large amounts of radiation, the label showcases music that strikes through its energy and coherent complexity.

German imprint MASK return in 2021 with yet another inviting anonymous release featuring six raw original cuts.
The MASK imprint continue to impress with their signature aesthetic which places focus on intricate, modular based house, techno and ambient cuts and everything in between. Their previous releases have
garnered strong support from various artists including the likes of Laurent Garnier, DJ Bone, Photonz, Anastasia Kristensen, Marcel Dettmann and many more, and ‘Knef’ sees the esoteric German imprint deliver yet another impressive collection of tracks to kick start 2021.
The ‘A1’ gets the EP rolling with muffled drums and enticing moods that sit delicately underneath the soulful, samples and sweeping synths before ‘A2’ offers up resounding kicks that balance delightfully with the reverberating modulations and powerful yet interesting fx. The A3 lays focus on an aquatic house roller with bubbly melodies and dreamy pads with magnetising emotions brimming to the surface.
On the flip, the ‘B1’ is an engaging cut with breezy resonance and ethereal leads which lure you in from the start whilst the dubby drums, solemn ambience and laid-back m oods take focus in the ‘B2’. Rounding things off in experimental fashion, the ‘B3’ is an eccentric meditative, cut with leftfield oscillations and beatless vibrations which blend together with stunning effect.

Malaga's Cuartero is next up on Constant Black, bringing a finely honed minimal house sound that fits into the label's shadowy club aesthetic perfectly. "Rame" is a driving, insistent slice of stripped down house with plenty of subtle wriggles and textures gurgling away under the surface. "Melkor" has some tougher drums, not least around the low end, but the same economy of sonics is applied here where the beat takes the lead and the FX skirt and skitter around the beat. "Caterpillar" has a tougher, less swung accent to its beats, but the chunky drum machine patterns are still executed with that stern focus that makes a minimal track pop off in the mix.

The top futuristic year is 12006: next up on label-owner David Vunk's Moustache Recordings label is a collaboration between him and fellow Rotterdam rogue, Ben La Desh who between them have combined to produce two tracks full of spaced out house, techno, electronic and disco feelings. First up, Turner drops a rich colour palette of vibrant space disco prize strings. The creeping cresecendo of synth-led brushstrokes paint a rich impressionistic glow interpersed with positive vocal samples drifting through like dutch boats in a gale. Next up Deep Valley takes off over the snow-capped mountain tops and towards the flowing river of deep techno drums. Eerie soaring strings and isolated vocal snaps conjure up images of cavernous depths of deep sea and space as we go deeper into the valley of the dolls. With releases coming on strong over the past few years La Desh continues his ascent into production adulthood on the 21st release on Moustache Recordings while Vunk's typical high-class production values shine through this entire release. Further collaborations between this duo would be only gezellig.

On the flip side ‘People like This’ is a slightly deeper diversion championed by a beautiful 303 bass arpeggiator motif, voice vocoder, subtle delayed bells, and immersive atmospheres transporting you into LVCA’s hypnotic sound. Closing out the EP is ‘Timeless Melody,' deep, elegant and sublime with touches of beautiful piano riffs, warm chords, seductive voices; ready to mesmerise and be dropped at sunrise, sunset or whenever you please.

To mark the 10th release on the Zeitnot imprint we've invited our very special friend Nick Gynn. For this milestone occasion Nick's prepared his longest play yet, 6 stellar tracks ranging through various flavours of deep and warped dance floor sounds.

On the A side AAA shows some love to the golden era of IDM with its B12-esque synth lines, and a growling grooving bass patch. Similarly weighty dance floor bomb Dynamic Traces has a mind-warping atmosphere, and a catchier hook than your favourite guilty pleasure.


Lose yourself in the gripping melancholy of Lourd, with more squelchy IDM-inflections, and practically dripping in nostalgia. Swap plates to the C side to hear expert examples of deep and driven electro Pheonix and Rokit, before gracefully coming to rest amongst the clouds in the arpeggiatted symphonies of A = 432 (Hz).

Since its inception in 2011 the Fuse label has grown to be one of the leading voices in the dance music underground, originally kicking off with co-founder Enzo Siragusa's 'The Sagamore EP', subsequent releases were kept strictly in-house with productions from the roster of resident DJs that feature at their
London based daytime raves (Seb Zito, Rich NxT etc).

After a two year gap Clio is back on Metroline Limited after producing two of the most successful releases from the label's extensive catalogue: For Sure Baby (2010) and Do It EP (2012). In the opening track, The Beautiful Forces, Blade Runner soundscapes morph into post-rave stabs and combine with heavy subs and sci-fi effects to create the soundtrack to a rave in an abandoned space station. On a more Chicago tip, Something Like That is a collaboration with French groove master Loquace. The result is a loose, flowing house jam, which as the lyrics tell you, is all about vibe - it doesn't have to be planned... it's just how you feel! The legendary Thomas Schumacher turns out a serious burner on the flip with his remix of The Beautiful Forces, bringing the vocals up in the mix and throwing in a pumping b-line to keep things moving nicely. Swiss rising star Yvan Genkins takes on marginalising the Chi-town flavour of the original and working the elements up into a eyes-down Tresor-style techno monster. Classic 909 hits, a satisfying low-end rumble... it doesn't get more floor-friendly than this.

DJ Bone, Terrence Parker, and Scan 7 remix Disruptive Pattern Material on the ‘Necessary EP’, landing this May on Rekids.

Making his debut release on one of electronic music’s most vital labels, Michigan’s Disruptive Pattern Material emerges with ‘Necessary’, a Detroit indebted jam backed with remixes from some of the Motor City’s most influential names.

Leading the A-side, the original mix of ‘Necessary’ loops a vocal chop at its core, weaving airy synths and bubbling, dubbed-out bass effortlessly throughout the track. DJ Bone’s remix sees the Subject Detroit and Encounter boss draw hidden textures from the original, adding fresh synth works atop the pitched-up vocals for a distinctly Detroit jam.

On the flip, Intangible Records & Soundworks’ Terrence Parker introduces skipping drums under a hands-in-air piano loop, effortlessly flipping the track into a bonafide party starter. Taking the B2 spot,UR affiliates Scan 7 blend rave stabs, 909 kicks, and rubbery bass for a remix of digital-only bonus track Freedom.

We are very happy to welcome to Bad Barbie to Marc Faenger with an exquisite four track release named Cabinet EP that besides the two originals from Marc, also includes two fantastic remixes by the Romanian's talented producer Plusculaar. The first track from A Side is Cabinet, in which Marc presents a delicate blend of trippy elements present in the backend that configurates an amazing groove in combination with a solid low-end leading the rhythm. The second track from this side is Mescaline which has a much more techno vibe with a solid tech foundation too, which easily immerses the audience into a subtle hypnotic vibe with an especial underground sound. For the B Side of this record we have both Plusculaar remixes made from Cabinet. The 1st Remix presents a broken beat with Plusculaar's characteristic sound that leads into a twisted voyage through a superb atmosphere with an outstandingly composed groove. The 2nd Remix is a solid re-work of Cabinet's sounds with a very inspiring, deep and evocative vibe that results in a very creative and beautiful mind trip that closes this release perfectly.

Having regularly played and partied together over the years, the 2020 lockdown enabled Dennis Cruz and Josh Butler to finally have the time to collaborate. Resulting in Ahora Todo Va, the first single from Dennis Cruz’s debut album, set for release on Crosstown Rebels this coming summer. UK favourites and label affiliates Gorgon City provide the remix.

If music can be used as medicine, then Ahora Todo Va will heal the darkest of days. Opening the track and setting the scene for what is to come, an excitable crowd can be heard lapping up the voice of an energetic performer. The duo make full use of a range of instruments, from the sophisticated piano keys, rhythm infused drums and increase of excitement throughout resulting in a triumphant crescendo.

At the forefront of the global house scene is Spanish DJ and producer Dennis Cruz, with a number of accolades under his belt. Gaining support across the board, Cruz has released on Solid Grooves, Moon Harbour and Hot Creations among others, and an ever-increasing list of Beatport #1’s resulting in him being one of the highest selling tech house artists. Since bursting onto the scene in 2013 with the acclaimed Got A Feeling, Josh Butler has been a prominent figure in the dance scene. Remixing the likes of Fatboy Slim, Carl Cox and Joris Voorn whilst also warming up for the multi-grammy award winning Nile Rodgers and Chic. Josh has released EPs on Rejected, Defected, Poker Flat, Kaoz Theory and more.
