Prolific techno producer Mark Broom also provides a compelling remix. Thudding kicks launch The DBG paired with eccentric, fizzing electronics that bubble alongside, before reaching a midpoint climax, unfurling into a colossal bassline. Mark Broom adds his groove-laden techno stamp on the remix, transforming it with energetic hats, soulful vocals, horns and hints of the buzzing high pitched synth of the original. On Get Busy finely tuned 909 and 707 drum patterns interlock with a dancing acid synth line.
Having an already genre-bending catalogue of original works and remixes, Shadow Child's music has recently hit labels such as Unknown to the Unknown, Ovum and Super Rhythm Trax. He also has a bi-weekly radio slot on Rinse FMshare a Wednesday slot with Mall Grab, and has graced the airwaves there for over 6 years. Norachi comes at you all slinky and smooth from the Victorian countryside with 4 tracks to rattle the bass bins of your deepest dancefloor. The optimist of the bunch; ‘Nurture’ reveals glimmering synths and tight percussion over a stout bassline, while the Reflective mix adds the tough yet melancholy attitude and robust mindset distinctive of Castlemaine streets in the year 2020. On the flip, Nature Bassline walks the line between beatdown and dub with hats lashing themselves over a bass melody reminiscent of classic Detroit works. Guy Gerber will finally release his much-anticipated rework of Desire’s Don’t Call on vinyl. The track had been a standout in his live sets for months before lock-down, and it has received an incredible reaction.

Gerber’s rework is a stunning interpretation of Desire’s 2012 track. Languid and sultry yet soaring, Gerber’s reimagination of the original hinges on the unique blend of melancholy and euphoria that he has built his career around. It’s fitting that the Israeli producer has turned Megan Louise’s heartbreak tune into one of the summer’s most danceable records, it’s the same contrarian spirit that saw him turn in a break-up album for his instalment in the esteemed fabric mix series.

Sintope bosses NTFO return to Bondage Music this May to deliver a combination of digital and vinyl only productions in the form of their 'Esperantza' EP.
Following an impressive break through year in 2009, Romanian duo Dani and Robert aka NTFO have since gone on to carve out an impressive resume within the world of house, with a series of releases on 20/20 Vision, Objektivity, Diynamic and Jargon making up a notable back catalogue. Owners of their own Sintope imprint, releasing material from themselves alongside the likes of revered Parisian Djebali and fellow Romanian Rhadow, the duo have garnered stand out support from Ryan Crosson, Cinthie, Vinyl Speed Adjust and Arapu to name just a few, and having recently featured on the labels 'Bondage Games' compilation in January, here we see the duo deliver a fresh four track EP that's set to become a favourite of many in the months ahead.

Title cut 'Esperantza' sees the duo go to work, fusing rolling, crisp percussion with rich sub-bass, before 'Uppercut' interjects, unveiling a production packed full of swing, reinforced by robust drum licks, skipping hats and sweeping synths.
On the flip, the first vinyl only cut 'Lux' reveals a smooth, stripped back effort, with lush, deep pads floating effortlessly over hazy background textures, whilst the electro influenced 'Avoid' closing things out in fine fashion, as trickling lead lines flow amongst and intricate organic percussion patterns across seven minutes.

131bpm's first 12" is a four tracks floor fller. It fully represent the spirit of Vitamina's parties: bouncy and banging.

"groove On" opens the A-side with a punchy kick and a mysterious atmosphere. The electric baseline adds a groovy, yet driving part to the most powerful track of the EP.

"Yeah" is more deep and soulful with a big reverb and its dark low pads. On the B side, "Hardware.Software" is really progressive and built-up.Perfect to raise the temperature during a pea-time.

Finally, you can imagine yourself on a catwalk under the sea while listening to "Kaugummi". Sassy baseline and deep kicks, but bubbly pads and an organic melody"

Marco Pellegrino (aka Ancut) makes a debut on Wicked Bass Records. His emerging producer talent, together with his curation, makes for an interesting selection. All three tracks manifest after-party vibes, resemblant of that soulful atmosphere of an early morning, melodic and warm. Innershades delivers a remix of “Renaissance” with his signature nostalgia vibe. Fallout 'The Morning After', Produced by Lenny Dee and Tommy Musto, was originally released in 1987 on the legendary Fourth Floor Records. Originally recorded as a 17 minute opus, the track was edited into different versions; the Sunrise Mix and The Aftermath. The names Fallout and The Morning After were Tommy and Lenny's personal references to a private after hours club called the RoofTop on the 23rd floor of a building in New York where they played, named as a nod to the after effects of the late nights and early mornings of these parties. 'The Morning After' crossed many genres of dance music, and was notoriously adopted by Grooverider and Fabio who championed it at Rage, their legendary Thursday night party in London. Remastered for this re-issue, and also tastefully remix by nu disco producer of the moment, Purple Disco Machine, a new lease of life awaits for this genuine classic which has truly stood the test of time.

With 'Iyewaye', the first solo-EP after the release of his fifth album 'I am OK' last year, Oliver Koletzki shows himself in a new, but not altogether unfamiliar light: since his breakthrough in 2005 with 'Der Mückenschwarm' Koletzki hasn't sounded this hard. Gone is the pop-angle, replaced by a dark sound-aesthetic and raw energy. But even here, in the Techno realm, Oliver Koletzki demonstrates his inimitable sense for melody: thus, the gloomy and driving framework of 'Iyewaye' is lit up by a crystal-clear synth-sequence. Similarly, 'Ipuza', which hypnotizes by way of reduction and repetition, is funky in its core thanks to a rolling tribal groove. Functional, but with heart and soul.

Side A features Andy, music made by Superpitcher in memory and admiration of a pioneer artist and his works. Andy Warhol looks a scream, Hang him on my wall, Andy Warhol, Silver Screen, Can't tell them apart at all, Andy walking, Andy tired, Andy take a little snooze, Tie him up when he's fast asleep, Send him on a pleasant cruise, When he wakes up on the sea, Be sure to think of me and you, He'll think, about paint and he'll think about glue, What a jolly boring thing to do. David Bowie's lyrics about Andy Warhol mirror the groovy yet deeply moving emotion of this track. The music Superpitcher imagined here is a pleasant cruise in itself and once you wake up from it, you will for sure think of Andy.
Side B features Yves. The track starts with a long introduction of harp music and then gently evolves into one of the more fragile and poetic pieces Superpitcher has created thus far for The Golden Ravedays record. Similar to Andy this track is dedicated to an artist, Yves Saint Laurent. What is clear in this music is that there is an intense understanding of the suffering Yves Saint Laurent lived throughout his life as an artist and fashion designer. As only Superpitcher can, he translated that emotion into this beautiful and touching piece of music.

New label, AGT Records, kick start their discography with a bang, reissuing a staple of the early 2000’s UK tech house scene.

Transparent Sound (UK electro veterans Orson Bramley and Martin Brown) have certainly been around the block a few times. The duo’s iconic hybrid of electro-funk and hypnotic techno was highly coveted in the 90’s and early 00’s, gracing seminal labels such as Groovepressure, Crayon and Electrix Records. By the time they turned to the infamous Surreal they were house hold names in the electro and techno scene, making this unique take on tech-house all the more significant.

The EP demonstrates the diversity of the duo’s influences perfectly, providing top-quality house tracks without sticking too much to a formula. In Mixes 1 and 2, steel-tipped percussion shimmers around slinky basslines oozing with groove, conjuring up nostalgic images of sweaty dancefloors packed to the rafters. A remix from legend James Harrison, AKA Subfunk, seals off this stellar release in his signature machine-funk sound.

It is designed for maximum dancefloor satisfaction, sounding as fresh today as it did nearly 20 years ago. The EP has found its way back onto the decks, All in Good Time.

After the success of the first A-sides compilation in 2012, Adam Beyer has decided its time to release another. With Adam's stature steadily growing as one of the leading talents in the Techno scene and the rise of Drumcode, the standard of demo's that have been sent to Adam have been top notch. Adam has now decided to release two compilations with 10 tracks each, consisting of tracks that Adam has tried and tested. There are also new artists that have been invited to release on Drumcode for this compilation and others who are a staple in Drumcode's core family. De Lichting is back for their second double vinyl album titled; 'Twee'. The collective showcases a genuinely sensitive and pure sound resulting in an emotionally charged album.

The A-side kicks off with Boris Acket & Kaap. The live and improvised performance 'De Tuin' starts as a percussive soundscape and evolves into light footed ambiance, which resonates to a designated chill-out space, followed by 'Verwar' of Eversines. A darker hedonistic cut thanks to its atonal pads and heavy but sensual low end. A polyrhythmic breakbeat is introduced, which releases the tension and clears all the grey clouds to its sonic spectrum.

Human Space Machine & queniv take over the B-side this time, working their way through an emotional techno journey with Human Space Machine's 'Feels' and the most apocalyptical techno banger we've heard from queniv so far called 'U.I.C'.

Switching records to the second vinyl, we start on the C-side with Boris Acket's 'Humming', a house anthem sure to jerk the tears of euphoric dancers. Continuing, three other cuts which are Nathan Surreal's 'Chaos In The Echoes'; a mental deep weapon, queniv's museum inspired experiment 'Kruller Muller' and 'Onvoorwaardelijk' by RDS. C4 lives up to its number; blowing up clubs with a lovely sensitive yet dangerous electro bomb of a track.

When the concluding side is put on, we're taken aback by Kaap's 'Hartzeer', a heart aching combo of 707 drums, grungy textures and a rolling 16th bass, which goes right in the feels. RDS is featured a second time on D2 with 'Haat & Liefde', resulting in the most acoustic sounding track on the compilation before we end with Eversines' '2Anticipate'. An ambient cut where the 303 acid synth has hardly ever sounded so soft, tender and more sincere than you'd expect. And so, the album is wrapped up and implies a feeling of a new start to the next compilation.

Alan Fitzpatrick makes a triumphant return to the scene-leading imprint this August. The typically bombastic three-tracker of explosive, crowd-moving techno opens with Love Siren packed with all the power and punch required to knock over festival crowds as it systematically builds and drops, this is one for the big open air stages. 'U Said U is a massively hyped track that has been the subject of huge fan-demand since it first featured on Beyer's Drumcode Radio in January. Rumours wraps things up in slightly more understated but non-the-less effective fashion with its drawn out, tension building intro mushrooming into a crescendo of sleazy chords and sparking melodies.

‘Thief of Sanity’ is shapeshifting duo Animistic Beliefs’ debut on Brokntoys.

The 4 track EP is an ode to the past, drawing inspiration from political techno group Underground Resistance, as well as ancestral pan-tribalist music. Without compromising their signature Rotterdream sound, the dynamic duo deviates from their recklessly violent live-sets, tuning into more introspective and earthbound frequencies.

By means of hypnotic synthesizer and bursting drum machine workouts, Xakalele and rbf.linh take you through their melancholy filled world, sharing with you their worries, hopes and fears in the form of a tongue-tied protest.

Opulence is back, debuting the burgeoning Puerto Rican talent of Cerrot.Title track ‘Proclamació’ twists and turns through a deep, minimal journey as trippy R&B vocals, rolling grooves and glitched samples are laid over a subby bass - giving all the elements of undeniable heater.

Romanian man of the hour Cristi Cons is first up on the remixes, providing a skippier twist on the original full of springing synths and cerebral sounds to unlock minds and move bodies. Closing out proceedings, Maher Daniel brings a techier, driving, dancefloor bomb of a remix as the final weapon in OP007’s arsenal.

It’s lucky number 8 for Cardiff-based imprint Haŵs - and to mark the occasion, they’ve invited the riveting Jad & The to whip up a perfect storm for “Transorbital Express”. The five-track EP teems with lightheaded house and techno beats, from micro-detailed refrains to fervent show stealers.

The A-side offers a lavish yield, with the washed-out “Mastermind” rippling into a compelling bassline and a melodic sensation of bubbles cascading to somewhere unknown. “Transorbital Express” evolves upon the delicate flair, spacing out into its own groove like a dancer becoming increasingly lost in the moment. Meanwhile, “Way To Kill” takes on the role of a subtle tyrant, delivering a charmingly malevolent feel with its menacing synths and warped vocals.

On the flip-side, the chunky “Space Infinitum” launches into attention, carving through the ozone with a woozy blend of bassline and kick drums that chug with an enthralling arrogance. “Outer Planet” closes proceedings as a driven statement of intent, taking a straight-forward groove and offsetting it with eccentric, off-beat inflections.

If you listen right from beginning to end, you’ll end up somewhere at the edge of the universe. Looking towards the future with a diverse yet consistent approach, the label ensures through their thoughtful choice of artists that no matter the direction of their output, it’s one that’s set with a clear bearing by all involved.

Pearson Sound returns to Hessle for the first time in 5 years, with an EP for clubs and warehouses varied in tone and intensity. Evolving in the Berlin scene for over 3 years now and being over 4 years old. Kerri Chandler's Kaos Theory returns with the musical minds of Voyeur providing the heat via two new originals, alongside a thumping tech house remix from man of the moment Desert Sound Colony.

‘Acid Test’ is a pounding 303-laden warper, laced with wiggling synths and lo-fi vocal samples. On the B side ‘Bits’ is full of low-end weight, bumping kicks and contorted melodies as Desert Sound Colony rounds things off with a trademark techy remix of ‘Bits’.

Influential Spanish artist Coyu is stepping out on his own Suara label with a long overdue debut album entitled ‘You Don’t Know’ that is going to shatter all conceptions about him. Due for release this September 23rd, the 16 track affair showcases his broad range and takes in collaborators like Moby, Lazarusman, The Horrorist, Thomas Gandey and many more.

Coyu quickly rose through the ranks to become one of the most prominent names in underground dance music. The Spanish man famous for his love of cats has established his Suara label as a go-to outlet for the most essential house and tech tracks, as well as releasing his own expressive grooves on Cocoon Recordings, Diynamic, Bedrock Records, Turbo Recordings and MORE. Now he really stretches his legs across a fantastic full length album that goes way beyond the dance floor and shows many new sides to his sound. The artist has been working on it since 2012 and aims to show people that whatever they think about him is wrong.

Says the artist himself, “the album is named ‘You Don't Know’ because many people have a preconceived idea of who I am. Until now, maybe I wasn't smart enough to show them my roots, what I love and what I can offer to the music. I'm not just a DJ or a producer who can play or make grooves – I love many different genres and many different kinds of music. With this album I want to change that preconception.”

The album kicks off with a dramatic spoken word from legendary vocalist Lazarusman before exploring low slung and sleazy grooves on ‘The Three Chimney’, floaty light melodic and dreamy house on ‘Out of The Pain’ and more club focussed but just as dreamy fair on ‘We All Try’ with Mike Leary.

Proving he can do everything from poolside gems to peak time techno, ‘Fear Is Gunna Be A Player In Your Life’ is one to get you in a trance with its sonar like synths and rolling deep space drums. Thomas Gandey aka Cagedbaby then steps up to guest on ‘1+1’ which is a hands in the air piano anthem to pump the party, and ‘Wanna Do Right, Wanna Do Wrong’ is a techno cut with brilliantly energetic drum programming and a big, perfectly placed vocal sample.

Switching up the vibe is ‘I May Be Dead, But One Day The World Will Be Beautiful Again’ with none other than dance legend Moby. It is a heavenly track with break beats, angelic melodies and a celestial feel that leaves you refreshed. The second half touches on raved-up drum & bass, gurgling minimal techno and harder techno with mind melting acid synths. The Horrorist contributes to the banging ‘My First Pill’, while the techno journey continues with ‘Unite’ featuring Gabriella Vergilov before the album finishes on the fluttering ambient track ‘Insania’, with mad church bells and manic percussion all bringing things to a close in style.

This is a broad, adventurous album that covers plenty of music ground and takes you on a true electronic trip from one of dance music’s most accomplished names.

We at MOTHER are super excited to welcome back DILBY, our homie from New Zealand who is now based in Berlin, for a banging new EP.

THE PATH is a chunky, driving slab of house that has been tearing up dance floors since it hit our inbox. The beat is constructed of big analog drums fused with ethnic percussion and tribal vocal chops then underpinned by a heavy sub bass. But, the real star of the show here is that flute hook, so catch every time!

Rounding out the EP is KICKIN IT, a funky grooving house weapon that is sure to bring smiles to the face of everyone on the floor! Dilby takes a modern house aesthetic and fuses it with a catchy throwback piano riff and ultra memorable vocal hook to deliver true hands in the air bomb.

Italian duo, Giacomo Godi and Emiliano Nencioni, better known as SUPERNOVA, debut their first MOTHER RECORDINGS release with their latest two-tracker EP, 'The Joy'.

Kicking off with their headline track, 'The Joy' pits together a hard-hitting house beat and walking bassline against a set of dark warbling synth sprays. Here, the duo truly show off their impressive work with the synthesizer, juxtaposing soulful acapella gospel licks with a bundle of morphing synth lines that effortlessly rumble and groan throughout.

Fat kicks, trashy hi's and spacey synths open up 'Reflections', lighting up the dancefloor from the very start. Here, Supernova step it up a notch, flipping their dark range of warbling synth lines into a set of warm and dreamy funk pads that endlessly purr underneath a sturdy bassline. A range of elusive vocal howls and cheeky funk melody licks polish the track off around the edges, intensifying in all the right places to create some satisfying releases.

Having begun in spring 2019 with the Moment EP, featuring her international hit ‘Starry Night’, Peggy Gou continues the story of Gudu Records with an EP from one of dance music’s most prolific artists, DMX Krew. Closely associated with Aphex Twin’s Rephlex label, Ed DMX emerges once more from the underground with four sublime tracks of charismatic electronics, as potent and unmistakable as any music produced across his three-decade discography. For the uninitiated, opening track ‘CJ Vibe’ is the perfect, floor-focused distillation of DMX Krew’s timeless studio powering into psychedelic life, as a spaced out, playful synth line holds fort through a detailed house music trip. ‘DXIOO’ heads further down the techno wormhole - a rich, deep ballad of entangled DX100 and TR909 that expands to overwhelming machine funk. On the flip, ‘Don’t You Wanna Play?’ strikes immediately to deliver the EP’s most suitably playful cut, pairing irresistible modulations with sharp toms and hugely satisfying hits of cowbell, revisiting the frantic atmosphere imprinted within the carefree rave heritage of the DMX Krew project. Finally, ‘110 Series’ dials down the tempo while retaining the high-spirits for an inspired composition that sees Ed take his numerous synths on a skilful and melodic moonwalk around the studio, then onwards to the dancefloor.

Exciting new electronic project E&D burst onto the scene in stunning style with the exhilarating ‘Not Enough’ and ‘Runaway’, released on FCR on 14th June and backed by remixes from acclaimed electronic producers Mall Grab and Ali Berger.

London based E&D have unleashed two scintillating vocal cuts which have UK clubbing culture at their very core, featuring classic Garage influences. The theme of heartbreak runs throughout both ‘Not Enough’ and ‘Runaway’ with an emphasis on harmony and melody which will be integral to the identity of the E&D project.

The deep and atmospheric ‘Not Enough’ presents a beautiful yet powerful female vocal whose tone and expression perfectly emphasises the message of lost love. E&D perfect balance this with contrasting shimmering and stabbing beats to produce a track that already has the hallmarks of a classic.

‘Runaway’ is an up-tempo, vintage-sounding UK Garage themed cut with poignant undertones, as the gorgeous female vocal again mourns a relationship which has moved on.

For the remixes, E&D have called upon two of electronic music’s most respected producers – Mall Grab and Ali Berger. Both offer a completely fresh perspective to the originals. With his remix of ‘Not Enough’ celebrated Australian Producer Mall Grab takes the original into deeper, tougher territory, stripping back and lowering the vocal and adding intense, almost tribal, percussion alongside vintage acid house beats.

FCR favourite Ali Berger also takes his working of ‘Runaway’ deep into the underground, emphasising the bass, cleverly layering the vocal and building to a peak-time floor-filler.

Harvey McKay is back on the track, and stronger and harder than ever before! His last release for Cocoon climbed to the top position in the Beatport charts and stayed there for quite some time and it was about time that the drumcode- and soma-recordings producers returns to Cocoon.

And the wait was worth it as he manages it to bang the drums even more with his new release! 'Cinnamon Kiss' brings us spicey cinammon flavour for the colder days & nights that need to be heated up in all the clubs again after this super hot (but short) summer. A massive tech-house-tune with cool oldskool house chords and cool break downs that will put raverhands up in the air. However there is even more here waiting for you as 'Push It' does what the names says and pushes the beat even higher! This tune is energy loaded and will power your legs to dance, dance and dance. A pumping techno monster that even features a little D-Shake sample for the ones who know. Pure Testosterone and a clear message: Get on the floor and get crazy! One for the big raves!

If It’s Love is a joyous celebration of a soulful house sound that came to prominence in the 90s, where vocals were the heart and soul of a record and the vibe was unashamedly positive. But more than being simply an homage, If It’s Love combines the heady, feel-good vibe of those classic records with production values of the present, delivering a timeless record that will more than hold its own on the sonically rich dancefloors of 2020.

Few modern house records champion original vocals, and even fewer can boast the incredible amount of talent involved in the writing and production of If It’s Love. Laura Davie is part of the House Gospel Choir, a live group and production team that have been performing their awe-inspiring shows around the world for the last six years, and have worked alongside the likes of Stormzy, The Kooks, Annie Mac, Riton, MNEK, Wretch 32 and Gorgon City. Meanwhile The Melody Men are three equally talented women - Amy, Dyanna and Lou – who have written, rapped and sung on house bangers from producers like Kideko, Mason and Tough Love.

Alongside a stellar line-up of vocalists, the track is even further enhanced by the talents of Davos on keys. He is renowned for his ability to play authentic riffs from the golden era of House and over a few years, he’s quickly risen to fame with his online viral video clips of him replaying 90s classics on his keyboard.

“With If It's Love I really wanted to produce a record that had the fundamental assets of all good song production: melody, hooks, meaningful lyrics and a great arrangement an art I feel is being lost right now in house music. So the challenge was to make a big, soulful, vocal house record – the kind that I fell in love with in the mid-90’s – but do it in such a way that would translate in the here and now. I also wanted to make a record that I could actually play at any point in one of my headline sets, as well as working in my soulful sets.

Saved Records founder Nic Fanciulli returns to Rekids with a tough two-track release entitled ‘Focus’.

British Grammy-nominated producer and globally renowned DJ, Nic Fanciulli has prevailed as one of the most sought-after house and techno artists of the last decade with a global touring schedule, including launching his well-received debut Ushuaïa Ibiza residency ‘Dance or Die’ last summer to add to his years at the iconic Space Ibiza. While releasing on many of the most respected labels including RCA, Anjunadeep, Crosstown Rebels, Rekids, Circus and Play It Say It, he crossed paths with Rekids when remixing Radio Slave’s seminal ‘Grindhouse’ back in 2012, but it was only until last year that Fanciulli dropped a full solo outing on the label with his superb ‘Understand’ release.

Two consecutive #1's on the Beatport Top 100 has taken this special series of releases from strength to strength. Combining Techno's new breed of heavyweights with the perfect classic track, is a formula Renaissance are getting right time after time. Following on from Solomun and Tale Of Us's outstanding contributions, Renaissance turn their attention to the ever-evolving Maceo Plex for a remix of Remake's iconic 'Blade Runner'; a track featured prominently on the very first Renaissance compilation in 1994.Eric Estornel aka Maceo Plex has become well known for his mind-bending Techno sets and releases under various guises such as Maetrik. 2011 saw the Ellum Audio boss, release his debut album under Maceo Plex on Crosstown Rebels, 'Life Index' was met with critical acclaim and propelled the North American to success. Leading to him starting his own label Ellum Audio with a distinct Techno sound, whilst releasing his own music it's served as tool to champion those around him seeing releases from upcoming acts such as Agents Of Time and Shall Ocin.Speaking about the ReMix Maceo Plex, explains his love for the Neo-Noir Science Fiction Film Blade Runner's soundtrack and the inspirations behind the track:
'The original Vangelis, soundtrack for the movie Blade Runner is my all-time favourite cinema soundtrack and one of my favourite records from the early 90's is the cover 'Blade Runner' by Remake.' - Maceo PlexThroughout time artists, musicians and designers have all paid homage to the cult classic movie and its soundtrack which has inspired the minds of many. Now taking his opportunity through the ReMix collection, Maceo Plex has delivered a timeless edit for the Renaissance collection series. Injecting the signature Maceo Plex sound with pulsating bass lines and futuristic synth tones stabbing their way to the breakdown where we're met with all too familiar piano melody; transforming the original cover into a prime-time atmospheric weapon. 'I wanted to make my own version to honour this special music and add a little something personal in this new version' - Maceo Plex With the previous editions in the ReMix, both hitting #1 in the Overall Beatport Chart within a week of release, the Maceo Plex remix will be eagerly anticipated.

After the unbridled success that was "Volkwein', Super Flu's collaboration with The Dortmund Philharmonic, the always on point Monberry label now revisits the package with the help of some fine contemporary remixers, namely Kollektiv Turmstrasse, Monkey Safari and Bebetta.

Super Flu, aka Herzblut Recordings regulars and German pair Felix Thielemann & Mathias Schwarz, really conjured up some magic with the original so these remixes, which reinterpret in fine Style, are more than welcome.

First up are Kollektiv Turmstrasse, a rare act that infuse their sound with something more - extra soul, depth and meaning. On their remix of the title track, they go for a trademark deep, brooding and slowly unfolding vibe with subtle synth modulations, buried drums and a rising sense of tension.

The curious and off kilter German duo Monkey Safari are up next. First they rework 'Bratzke' with a sensitive sense of touch. Underlapping, rubbery drums roll below churchy and hymnal chords. Softly spoken vocals add intimacy and you can see this one really making for quite a moment on the right dance floor. Secondly, they serve up a digital bonus remix of the same track that makes less use of the vocal and places plenty of emphasis on their lush arrangement and true sense of musicality.

Lastly we have Bebetta, a playful producer who infuses her music with charming melody and a real sense of personality. She has also recently won the Tresor Newcomer Award for her impressive DJ sets around Berlin. Her version of 'Volkwein' is patient and spacious. Glowing harmonically it soothes mind body and soul with playful patterns and clever use of filters.

This EP is an elegant and magical release that proves house music can be so much more than a physical and functional thing, and can instead stir real emotion when in the right hands.

Boris Bunnik aka Conforce returns to Delsin for his fifth album on the label. Across eight tracks he delivers a wide range of styles yet keeps the ethereal and textural aesthetic of his sound recognizable at all points. His atmospheric approach combined with razor sharp percussion and intricately programmed synths make "Dawn Chorus" one of his most adventurous albums to date. Flirting with his Versalife moniker at times, this album leans to his experimental works, strongly optimized for dance floors using his unique sounddesign skills and unstoppable drift to reinvent himself.

Throw' by Paperclip People is reissued, accompanied by LCD Soundsystem's sublime and inventive cover on the flip. Perhaps the best known release from Carl Craig's long-running alias, 'Throw' is instantly recognisable to the day; a joyous distillation of Craig's house, techno and disco nous, as a chugging, organ-led bassline leads to a sensational breakdown. Once a favourite of LCD Soundystem's live set, the flip of the record captures the now Grammy-winning US group performing a studio-recorded cover, one that instantly, naturally captures the original solid groove, while adding shades of their post-punk approach.

Having requested the parts of the original track, the intrepid duo travelled back in time to the year 1991, set up their samplers and got busy with the breakbeats and euphoric synth pads.

The latest collection of wayward floor heaters from Nuances De Nuit takes us once more into a colourful headspace where the possibilities are wide open to make house music with personality. Californian shining star Liquid Earth is up first, although he's better known as Urulu. 'X-Form' is a bubbling metropolis of futuristic synth squiggles with starry-eyed wonder in its heart and vintage techno smarts up top. Huerta follows up that sterling start with the enchanting electro incantations of 'Legwork', which build wonderfully on the sound laid out on his recent debut album for Voyage Recordings. On the flip, DJOKO brings a smart shuffle and some shimmering synth work to the forefront for a seriously smart twist on the tech house template, while T. Jacques opts for space age machine funk with a splash of boogie poured in for good measure.

Following our deep & dubby vibes, this time is our Swiss friend Philipp Lichtblau as usual, no digital promotion and limited edition.

Following on from March's Shlømo remix package featuring Donato Dozzy, Bambounou, Shlømo and label boss Kennedy Smith, Bright Sound's second release of 2016 will new a brand new EP from Sweden's Andreas Tilliander.
With his releases on his own Repeatle imprint and his TM404 alias's hardware-driven techno featuring on Skudge White and Kontra-Musik, Tilliander is among Sweden's most versatile talents working right now. His arrival on Bright Sounds is of a piece with BSRX 004, last year's reissue of fellow Swede Henrik Johansson's 1997 EP as Smyglyssna. As with Johansson's record, Tilliander's Stettin Libau EP explores slower tempo techno, locating the moments of space and energy in between its rhythmic structures. This search is most keenly observed in 'Knapp Ledsyn', with its ever-shifting sonic landscape melting away at various points to reveal its unusual, skeletal beats and hidden melodic details, while the EP title track and 'Nybliven Lots' apply that approach to what might at first be a traditional dub techno template, yet still offering further small moments of off-beat character. Completing the release is a 'Detox Operation' remix of 'Knapp Ledsyn' from Nonplace Records chief Burnt Friedman, in which the German veteran strips things down to a gentle patter of drums overlaid with suggestive flashes of the original's rich atmospheric elements.

A beautifully crafted deep techno EP. Bjika delivers a cascading expanse of atmospherics and rolling deep techno beats. Every moment that passes feels familiar, yet unique, in its own space and time. Quite simply this is Lush.

Originally released in 1993 by the Italian imprint Minus Habens Records, 'Concrete Jungle' is the second album by this seminal project of Dirk Ivens (The Klinik, Absolute Body Control). A work considered as groundbreaking by lot of fans of early 90s industrial, noise and EBM. There are few electro-pioneers that are still active and successful and Mr. Ivens is one of them, inspiring a lot of acts to follow in the past three decades.Concrete Jungle' is being released for the first time on vinyl in a limited/numbered edition of 700 copies. Double record including all the original tracks plus the 'Extended Play' EP (1994) and some songs from old compilations. Artwork based on the original design and presented on a deluxe gatefold sleeve with printed inner sleeves and numbered card.

Deeplay / Opilec Music offers up three new versions of a classic and previously unreleased (on 12" at least) disco-fried Giorgio Moroder track in the form of 'Utopia - Me Giorgio'.

The remixer is Opilec Music boss, I-Robots, who has reworked classic Moroder material
before and who is a huge fan of the disco and electronic music pioneer Einzelgänger.

The concept of this release was simply to create longer versions of the track that was originally included in the From Here To Eternity partially mixed album - incredibly no one else has officially done this since the original release date in 1977.

Importantly, though, because the track is so seminal, the remixes are all hugely sympathetic affairs that don't change the atmosphere or intentions of the original artist.

Up first is the 'I-Robots 1977 Reconstruction', which has just seen the original extended from 3:23 minutes to almost 7 minutes (all these reconstructions are long). The result is a fantastic thing that is now perfectly suited to club play with fulsome modern production, a revisited version that is a perfect reinterpretation maintaining the spirit of the '77 original.

For the 'I-Robots 2014 Tape Reconstruction', the remixer had a dream that he found an old original Moroder tape in a flea market and used it to beef up this track. The addition of analog tape background noise gives the mix a dirty and dusty vintage sound and as such it now has a strong and powerful impact with infectious drums, frazzled synth lines and plenty of meaty disco dazzle.

Finally, The 'I-Robots 2014 Reconstruction' is the clean version of the Tape Reconstruction with a powerful tech-house beat underpinning it, making it the version most suited to heavy dance floor usage.

The vinyl release includes only the 1977 and the 2014 Tape Reconstructions and is handled exclusively by Opilec Music.
