Lossless' first offering in 2018 comes courtesy of co-founder Mathias Schober. With his 'Continuing EP' Mathias' definitely continues what he has started with his recent 'Certanities EP' on Optimo Trax. The EP is a true reflection of Mathias' constant approach to push the boundaries and merge his influences to draw a coherent painting. In this case the drawing is consisting of three truly unique tracks.

Klose One and Claus Fuss return to their collaborative techno alias OneOneOne with the Pipeline EP.

As a DJ, Klose One’s knack for fusing a house music backbone with elements of UKG, bass and grime has allowed him to endure as a staple of London’s fast moving underground scene. Claus Fuss is a classically trained producer and composer, and a master behind the scenes as co-creator of Zed Bias’ live set, and more recently the head of live sound for German synth pioneers Tangerine Dream.

As OneOneOne they take an improvisational approach to production, channeling their ideas through analog equipment and live sequencing. Title track ‘Pipeline’ and closer ‘Bewusst’ demonstrate an economic use of individual elements to create tightly wound dance floor rollers with a tough edge. The two let loose on ‘Squeak’ and ‘Jolt’, a pair of stripped back and anthemic techno bangers, primed for a grunge-y basement setting.

After the phenomenal compost black 12 inch this is the second strike from Yokto. Epic detroit inspired modern house music on the mysterious Lossless label...recommended!

After the great success of our first Basswalk Limited series release, we have the huge pleasure to bring you this second edition made by the rising star Zlatnichi with his To Jic Headz EP, which includes four absolutely groovy tracks. In the A side we have French Cuckold Games first, which is magnificent voyage composed by several and subtle percussion layers that creates a great hypnotic vibe that is mainly followed and driven by a very funky bass line and low-end. The second track of this side is Jazzerai. It presents several house elements and a great work over the vocals and jazz fills that gives this track a quality upgrade for sure. For the B side we have To Jic Headz at first, which shows several musical textures in correlation with an amazing groove driven by a great low-end, in addition of an extensive work with the articulations of each sound to create a great musical piece. The second track of B side is Dandarinos and it leans towards a minimal house style with some tech arrangements and sounds that makes your brain float inside a delightful sonic experience in what is one of the most beautifully produced tracks from this release.

Joshua James continues a run of infectious singles on Phantasy with a brooding, dreamlike turn into the night on ‘Marlene’, accompanied by two contrasting remixes from Swiss master, Deetron.

Beginning with the timeless texture of joyous, eighties NYC house, ‘Marlene’ soon introduces an inquisitive vocal sample, as an elegant conversation explores love and tolerance. Nonetheless, leaving little time for chin stroking, the track instead cautiously circles the pleasure at the epicentre of the dancefloor, venturing into more introspective, late-night territory, culminating in an unexpected and cathartic release of psychedelic electro. Reflecting the energy and imagination of his weekly residency at XOYO, James delivers a sophisticated, queer take on contemporary house that pays off in sheer bliss.

With a cemented reputation as one of the world’s most intuitive and imaginative remixers, Deetron carefully rebuilds 'Marlene' twice over. On his initial remix, he adopts a shuffling 4/4 bass weight, zoning in on an unintelligible snippet of the track’s sample, creating slowly escalating, sweat-inducing club pressure. Suddenly, fluttering keys and deep chords send us into a deeper direction, from the rave to the lounge and back again. Meanwhile, the Filter Dub is tailor-made and tested for after-hours selectors with a thirst for the esoteric.

Despite building their careers out of strikingly different musical places, both dBridge and Radioactive Man have taken influence from the field in which each other operate. dBridge (Darren White) was part of the iconic drum & bass outfit Bad Company and he helms one of the scene's most solid and quality imprints in Exit Records and Radioactive Man (Keith Tenniswood) was born from the acid house scene and the off kilter electronics of his Two Lone Swordsman projects (alongside Andrew Weatherall) which led him to create his decidedly UK take on Drexciyan electro. It's by no means a stretch to learn that both producers have crates that contain their favourites from each genre but they've also found a mutual respect and connection in the studio over the last few years, leading to the dBRm moniker for Craig Richards' The Nothing Special label.

After the sensation caused by its last release, Cellaa Music returns with their 25th release and label debut for a producer who has been setting the scene alight all year long. Label bosses Martin Heyder, Daniel Igl and Sven Jaeger are happy to welcome Dimitri Monev to the family, with an EP that is bolstered further by a brace of remixes from Artslaves and Sven Jaeger himself.

Enjoy the hot percussions, basslines which let´s everybody start dancing - anytime, anywhere - combined with deep and forceful bassdrums, and lots of hidden elements which are connecting at so many points to everyone's being, it's for sure that you have to take this trip through sound - better now than later.

We are happily welcoming Jacob Groening to the Earthly Delights family,
a talented producer that has been on our radar for a while. Jacob comes
through with a very special 3 track EP, which will be our first ever vinyl
release. The EP features his unique sound that he masterfully integrates
into his live shows. Working more with musicians that he records at his
studio, he plays around with the recordings, taking it to the extremes
when it comes to cutting, pitching, warping. “...following my
intentional flow, not trying to force a specific sound. I am more listening
to what sounds are good to me and feel right.”
Jacob uses Prophet 12 a lot for the pads and most synthesized sounds in
EP, using the almighty moog voyager for the bass, recording percussion
and vocals. Most of the recordings are made with long-time friends and
other Berlin musicians. Noah Rott, who played the keys for Fask is Jacob’s
first Piano teacher from Hamburg and they have often collaborated since.
“Another very close friend of mine, Joel Silberkuhl, played the hang drum
for Fask and the guitar for Lacun. I visited him at his house in Luneburg in
northern Germany and we made music all day long. It brought us back to
our jam sessions when we were just 13 years old, playing reggae, hip hop,
jazz and rock...” Joining the release is a Canadian smooth vibes operator, Gab Rhome, who delivers a minimal melodic house vinyl only version
that's perfect to have on a 12”.
This EP interlines Jacobs friendships and experience making it a
heart-warming and truly personal release we are thrilled to share with
you !

To kick off 2020 in fine style, Midnight Drive bring you something different, from the far depths and fringes of London's mid 90's Techno scene....

B.C. aka Cisco Ferreira (The Advent) and Robert Leiner (The Source Experience), are 2 very well known and respected figures in the global Techno underground. Between them, Cisco and Robert have both performed across the globe and been behind numerous seminal records, and worked with some of the most highly respected record labels to date including: R&S, Apollo, Jack Trax, Fragile / Transmat, Labworks, New Electronica and more since the late 1980's. Entrenched in electronic music, and armed with decades of experience, it is safe to say their collective reputations precede them.

'Stronghold' was a one-off concept from Ferreira and Leiner that yielded only one EP, realised in 1994. The perfect frisson of dub aesthetic, electro-techno and ambient. A stripped-back juggernaut of cavern deep weaving rhythms, modular melodic sonar blips and driving bass. Total power. 'Stronghold' is one of those records that seems to morph, winding from skeletal electro snares into an off-the-rails kick drum driven freight train, pure soundsystem pressure. Only for the headstrong. Peep Dave Angel's seminal X-MIX from 1995 for a taste, the track features prominently early on in the mix to devastating effect. Also featured on this special and limited reissue of this most sought after and lesser spotted techno classic is a never heard before, unreleased and alternative take of 'Stronghold', from 1994. Lifted from DAT. It's possible that this newly unearthed version may be dubbier, trippier, perhaps more potent, more driving.....? But we'll let you decide.

September 2018 will see the launch of Butter Side Up Records with a 12' that embodies the considered club sound of the much loved Leeds and London party.It comes from fast rising Idle Hands and Northsouth artist Christian Jay with a remix from The Brane owner Youandewan and offers four cuts of slick electronic house music complete with artwork by Sophie Doulala.Butter Side Up is a now eight-year-old party that has carved out its own musical niche. Dealing in tasteful house and techno with a leaning towards breakbeats, garage and real deepness, the night is built on a solid core of residents, with guests like Craig Richards, Nicolas Lutz and Margaret Dygas also having played their intimate events. The label's outlook will continue in this vein, with a focus on releasing three EPs a year from talented friends and close associates.Opener 'Running' is dance floor focussed house with nimble rubber drums and slick hits that make you move. Curious synth sounds and rich design make it a timeless track with an air of sci-fi trippiness. 'Green' hits a little harder, with drilling sub bass that pulls you in deep as a microcosm of icy hits, alien sounds and synth trails flesh out the futuristic groove.Flipside 'Jupiter' is a cerebral warm up tune with spacious pads circling round as kinetic little hits, whirs and bass stabs paint a colourful cosmic picture. It's a micro-groove that really gets under your skin, and is backed up with a remix from Youandewan. A long-time friend of BSU who has made his mark in Berlin with in the know cuts on cult labels like Eclipser Chaser, Voyage and his own The Brane, his version of 'Green' is super silky, with lush pads soothing your soul as the muted bassline and bouncy drums set your feet to work.This EP marks a typically tasteful first instalment from the Butter Side Up boys.

Title track "Feel" is built around a bouncing organ bass and an infectious vocal , B1 "On Sunset" get's funky with sampled disco licks and B2 Bubble Haze is a tracky club tool with a rolling beat perfect for after hours and larger floors alike , with another standout release META closes the year on a high.

The latest instalment from Danse Club kicks off a much darker and harder side of the label previously unheard of on the now established imprint - with dark sleeves and muted colours there is a clear difference in sound and direction with the 17th release by 'Emerson Todd'. Danse Club have called upon Sascha Dive, Nathan Barato and themselves (Brodanse) for remix duties in order to take Emerson Todd's original piece in three very dance floor led yet contrasting directions.

From each of the remixers you get exactly what you would expect from the said names and the result is a package of stand out 'danse club' tools that will find their way into a number of record bags

Opal Sunn's return to Nick Höppner's Touch From A Distance is sort of a recap of 2019 - a year that proved pretty incredible for the duo of Alex Kassian and Oba Hiroaki. Their live show took them quite literally all over the world including Tokyo, Valencia, Ho-Chi-Minh-City, Hanoi, Fusion Festival, England's beloved Field Maneuvers and last but not least: Panorama Bar in Berlin, where they performed twice in 2019 as part of the Touch From A Distance labelnights. Their „Laika EP“ has been largely inspired by their first Panaroma-Bar-performance in january last year, which they - unassuming, yet assertive - took by storm. Eight months later their show in the Laika tent at the UK's best kept festival secret Field Maneuvers marked a second highlight in Opal Sunn's calendar. As a tribute, Opal Sunn have called the opening track to this record „Laika“. Their second ep for Touch From A Distance is picking things up, where their debut left off, meaning Opal Sunn's sound design is as pristine as a mountain spring and their arrangements are as tight and effective as ever. Having played numerous gigs in the meantime, there seems to be a new focus, though. All four tracks feel much more centered and balanced, aiming quite effortlessly at a heaving dancefloor. „Laika“, the ep's lead track, sees Opal Sunn at their most effective and peak time. A long build up and a rolling 303 bassline make for a total sureshot of a track. On „Minority State“, the duo let's their Electro inclinations run free, fusing razor sharp beats with icy melodies and abstract sound effects. On the b-side, „Holy Mountain“ is essential Opal Sunn: Glistening arpeggios, gliding melodies and floating beats create a psychedelic atmosphere predestined to lose yourself in. The ep ends with „Tangerine Blues“, an equally atmospheric and trance-y track embedded in a rather broken beat, going for a more cinematic vibe.

UK artist Pirate Copy is sure to burst into the headlines with an arresting new track for Moon Harbour.

The project is the work of Manchester's Lee Spence, and he has previously released big tunes on labels like Kaluki Musik and Elrow Music. He is also a veteran of many residencies around the world, plays from Brazil to Ibiza, and prides himself on a raw DIY approach that always carries over into his innovative tracks. Championed by kingmakers like Pete Tong and Hot Since 82, his muscular sound is a perfect fit for this label.

'Tribal On The Terrace' is the aptly named single he offers here. It is seven minutes of broody tech with a bluster of snares and toms, metallic hits and jumbled percussion. Pained vocals add real steaminess to the track as the burrowing bass rides up and down and takes you with it. Restless and sweaty throughout, it is a track that is intense and involving and takes you on a real trip.
The instrumental version strips away the vocal to make for a track that is brilliantly full of dance floor flavour and one that drips with energy.

This is a high-pressure package that re-asserts Pirate Copy as a real tech house talent.

All aboard the 'Ark': Two by two, four by four, whatever... Whichever way you want to board, the doors of this great vessel are open and Monaberry bossmen Super Flu are the proud captains. 

Their first full voyage of the year, 'Ark' is a stately piece of techno noir theatre designed to wrestle the choppiest of dancefloor seas. A multi-layered narrative laced with crispy arpeggios and strange otherworldly talkbox textures, it's an oceanic titan that ploughs through the heaviest of elements with grace and majesty. 

'Doppt' takes us to the next waymark on the map. Gently rhythmic from the moment its first shakers kiss your ears, we're soon satiated with tightly plucked percussive elements, subtle humanised textures and a sense of momentum that's tightly coiled with suspense and drama in a way that only Super Flu know how. 

Finally our feet touch terra firma with the mysterious afro house maverick Hyenah as he provides an earthy remix stampede. Flexing between African rhythms, powerful 4/4s and a tantalising breakdown salvo, it's yet another sterling revision from the masked beast... And another exceptional Monaberry trip from the one and only Super Flu. Boy voyage!

Ranging from tribal beats over minimal house to electro and techno, it will add a unique vibe to any record collection.

The next EP on Moon Harbour welcomes prominent house figure Yousef to the label for the first time. The powerhouse behind the Circus parties and label serves up a trio of tracks that prove why he is one of the most vital players in the game.

Yousef has been a driving force in dance music's underground for many years. His curated Circus events in Liverpool have become a cultural reference point for dance music in in the UK, and it is this reputation that has seen the brand feature in events all over the globe.

As a DJ, Yousef has appeared eight times on The Essential Mix and has been inducted into the Radio 1 Hall Of Fame joining the likes of Sven Vath, Dixon, Solomun and Richie Hawtin. His weekly radio show '21st Century House Music' is on more than 100 FM stations worldwide, amassing over 20m listeners per month.

As a producer and remixer, he has appeared on Desolat, BPitch Control, Cocoon and Crosstown Rebels whilst his own label Circus Recordings celebrated its 15th Anniversary with releases greats like Green Velvet, The Martinez Brothers, Laurent Garnier and Marco Carola. His career trajectory over this time has made Yousef more influential and culturally relevant than ever.

First out of the blocks here is 'Nothing to Fear', an intoxicating tune with a nice rolling bassline and exotic synths up top. It's one to get summer crowds locked in and along for the wild ride, while smartly filtered vocals add fuel to the fire and clever drum fills build the tension.

Yousef then serves up a dub of the same track that has bigger, more rubbery drums at the heart. It's deeper and more intimate, though melodies explode like fireworks and synths twist and turn throughout to bring plenty of energy to the driving grooves.

Closing out the superb EP is 'A Better World', a perfectly punchy track but one with majestic chords and melodies infusing it with a serene sense of futuristic Detroit soul. It surges through the night on a slick, supple bassline, and is sure to make for plenty of good times to any set.

This is a standout debut from Yousef which shows off a couple of different sides to his essential house sound.

Here we have one of our favourite kitties... Affkt! He is one of the most experienced electronic producers coming from Spain.
"Lost In Process" EP is a two tracked affair backed with the remixes from Cristoph and Wehbba. The title track is such a delicate cut, boasting the sensual vocals from Thomas Gandey which evolves the cut into a deep and emotional song that radiates pure joy. On the other hand, "Boss" is a darker and techier cut featuring Thomas Gandey's robotised voice that perfectly balance the whole cut. The remixes from Cristoph and Wehbba bring out the burst of energy the release deserves.

Germany's Ninetoes is back for his third EP in three years on Moon Harbour, and once again proves why he is one of the most essential talents in tech house. Label boss Matthias Tanzmann plus Harvard Bass also step up to remix one track each.
Releasing on Kling Klong and Play It Down, the man born Özgür Yelmen has achieved plenty since emerging in 2013. As well as putting out the likes of 'Finder', which went on to become one of the most Shazamed tracks in Ibiza, his hip hop influenced sound last year gave rise to the Bonita EP on this label. Played far and wide by taste making headline DJs, this latest offering is another subtle evolution of his sound.
It is the dry and stripped back 'Be' that opens the EP in fluid and infectious style. Weaving together hurried drums, intricate percussion and fluttering snares, the track is restless and super groovy and one to get you into a state of hypnosis.
Matthias Tanzmann steps up to remix and makes the drums bigger and more airy, with rolling snares and watery sounds percolating up through the mix. It's pure dancing music that has an irresistible tech-funk to it.
Ninetoes's second cut is 'Stand Up', another paired down and warm track with soft drums and shakers. It's atmospheric and heady for more cosy and late-night dance floors, with a heated chord progression dancing up top to bring colour and energy to the groove.
Mexican-American bad-boy Victor 'Harvard Bass' mixes up the raw appeal of American booty with the style and function of European beats. He flips the track into something with splashes of cymbals and vocal stabs that amp up the energy levels. Filled with tension and pressure that never releases, it's a fresh way to round out a varied EP of forward thinking house music.

Apollo proudly presents the return of SW, joined by partner SVN for a sublime 6 track EP. SW's lush sound design and hypnotic arrangements of 2017's 'The Album' had hearts and minds swooning following it's license from SUED to Apollo.
It's balmy glory won over Pitchfork ('deeply expressive debut album' 8/10), Rolling Stone (best electronic albums 2017) and XLR8R (Best releases 2017) amongst many others.
One year later, SW and SVN have gone into the studio, together; 'to make some original music specifically for Apollo. The results are the 6 tracks on this EP,' they share in a typically taciturn statement.Taking inspiration from the iconic house and techno of the mid / late 90s - SW and SVN combine dreamy melodies and mesmeric grooves with unfussy, focussed minimalism, their beguiling, modern take on classic sounds and rhythms remains thrillingly unique and elusive. While SW and SVN are more comfortable out of the limelight, this 6 track EP for Apollo once again proves that they are rightly worthy of the hype that swirls around them.

The latest single taken from No Fantasy Required, "Blondes Have More Fun" exemplifies Tiga's knack for deceptively deep songwriting and lush production. It is accompanied by a trio of remixers from contemporary electronica royalty: prolific Swedish producer on-the-rise on part 1 Jonas Rathsman, Running Back boss Gerd Janson and and international house and techno breakout du jour, The Black Madonna on part 2.

Norwegian producer Carmen Villain follows up last years cosmic beauty - Both Lines Will Be Blue - with a remix mini-album. Curated by Carmen, she asked some of her favourite producers to pick a track from the album to remix, which resulted in this collection of 6 tracks and 31 minutes of cosmic/dubs, featuring club ready tracks by Parris and Karima F., deep atmospheric reggaetón by DJ Python, fourth-world jams by D.K. and Yu Su and a far out dancehall dub by Jay Glass Dubs.

The new a.r.t.less release is by no other than UK Techno gentleman & Rave maestro Mark Archer. His EP "Songs For Einna" was produced in 1996 and originally released in 2007 as a limited edition of 93 copies only, we thought it's time that we make this fantastic music available on wax and digitally for some more people and especially for the new generation of music listeners to enjoy it!

... BubbleTease Communications and Running Back team up once again for Mim Suleiman’s fifth studio album on vinyl and compact disc. During the course of Si Bure you will find Mim at her very best.
It’s easy to imagine the Zanzibar-born-UK-based vocalist and percussionist dancing and prancing to the 14 songs featured here.

The tropes of house and disco are mixed here with wonderful rhythmic adventures, infectious futuristic pop and ultramodern African music, while the mesmerizing and addictive lyrics are sung in Swahili and deal with love and affection, freedom, oppression, unity and everyday life.

"This is a true labour of love,' says Tiga. 'Two of the most refreshingly positive figures in dance music teaming with me, the heartless cynic with a heart of gold. Positivity and actual quality: the best of both worlds."

Tiga was originally meant to produce tracks for the DJ duo, but the sessions soon evolved into a full-fledged collaboration. The three men manned the studio in psychic unison, laying real-time drum programming and minimal storytelling over a techno foundation to create a truly dynamic dynamic. The result is some of the best work of their careers.

'Chris and Steve brought a deep knowledge of house music and DJ energy-flow, while I left my deep hatred of live studio jam sessions at the door," adds Tiga. The material was written and recorded over the course of two sessions at Montreal's Lost Star Studios, a haven for vintage gear and laid-back vibes right out of your most casual dreams. It was easily the most fun anyone's had in a studio since 2014.

After 7 strong and ranging releases by the likes of KiNK, Fort Romeau, Autarkic and De Sluwe Vos amongst others DGTL Records has set out a diverse and yet steady course. A mixture of these different sounds is all found on this Various Artists EP, with input coming from different parts of the planet. The 4-tracker consists of contributions by HAAi, Rebolledo and Paulor, Axel Boman and JP Enfant, of which three are also playing at the annual DGTL festival in Amsterdam this April. Needless to say, the EP will be available at the festival too. The Various Artist release on the Dutch label is the first in a series, so expect more to come. HAAi is up first on the EP with her track 'Drumting'. The Australian born, London based DJ and producer has enjoyed a rapid rise to prominence over the past few years, most recently winning the title of the BBC's 'Most Essential Mix of 2018' for her contribution to the world- renowned mix series. 'Drumting' channels a similar energy to that found in her warm up sets, with a danceable yet steady rhythm underpinning her characteristic globally-influenced blend of electronic and acoustic elements. The typical driving and sturdy sound of Mexico's Rebolledo and Paulor is evident on the A2 side of the EP. Their 'The Fog and the Forest' is almost like an LCD Soundsystem song without the lyrics due to the sturdy bass line. When the captivating synths and overpowering guitar chords drag you further into the foggy forest there's no turning back, but why would you! Axel Boman's 'Surfliner' is one to listen to while overlooking the ocean after a warm day in the sun for sure. The emotional piano chords that are with you throughout almost the entire track, are there to hold-on to while 'Surfliner' takes you on a melodic and enticing trip that is best described as new-school Balearic. Another trip comes from Amsterdam's own techno wunderkind JP Enfant. 'Sputnik' is a smooth but stirring ride into space loaded with hallucinogenic acid lines. Exploding into ecstasy at the edge of the universe, while the ride back to planet Earth is just as exciting as the way up. JP Enfant's techno track is the perfect closer of the very first VA release on DGTL. Just like the previous two releases the artwork on this EP comes from the very skilled duo Boris Acket and Tim Straver.

North South are channeling the early 90s with this sprightly new release from label co-founder Henry Hyde. There's a clue in the title "I Heard You Like To Squelch" - the acidic synth line underpinning the track is certainly one to whip out the gum boots for, but it's also lifted by bright and hopeful string pads straight from the Motor City blueprint. "My Function" is a playful track with more snappy synth plays and a catchy earworm vocal hook. "Sick Rick" has a more minimal outlook, but there's still space for a proper cheeky bassline, and then "Second Face" completes the set with another wriggling, wiggly groover to get all kinds of mischief going on in the club.

Lion & Lamb Records emerges from the London-based community of underground electronic heads orbiting the venue of the same name. Considering the quality of the events, you can drop the needle on this various artists joint safe in the knowledge the same high standards apply. V3000 is up first with the ear-snagging machine funk of "The Man Who Belongs To The Horizon", before Alex Celler drops in some utterly cheeky, wriggling micro house naughtiness to add some spice to the after party. Andre King brings things back to an electro tip for the edgy sci-fi noir of "Floating Sensation" and Unai Trotti restores the balance with some boisterous 4/4 bleep business.

Monaberry’s label boss, good old Herb, is back in business. The House multi-talent curates the latest Mona compilation – Herberts Best #8. Famous Monaberry artists and new faces from all over the world follow his call and deliver exquisite productions to grandpa Herbert.

Tim Engelhardt’s contribution “Skin” is a deep hitting symphony of a cineastic atmosphere, rolling drums, crystal clear luminescent synths and captivating arpeggios. Mi.li.an’s vocals enchantingly highlight the track’s vibrant beat and the analog drive finally flows into bubbly extasy.

Just right after the release of his latest track on Monaberry Sobek pleases grandpa Herbert with “Camerlengo” – a gently evolving and hypnotically dragging track with some smacking groove that wraps around the floating framework and tickles your senses all at once.

Armonica, the charismatic duo from the dephts of Italy, put a mad peaktime track on the table. “Time” is just bursting with slightly dark synths and FXs. The energizing bass line and the vocals reduced to the essentials are literally pushing this track onto the global stage.

Another track is delivered by Sonic Future from Porto Alegre, Brazil. His artwork “Pontilismo” is full of vigorous rhythm, crisp synth variations and minimal 80ies flair that will knock your socks off. Especially the filter modulated chords carry you away to Alpha Centauri and fuse together with the beat into an embracing sound.

Luis Junior brings “Go Gech” into play, a rotating Detroit UFO made of technoid ruthlessness and deep groove. He successfully blends dramatic synth chords, vocal snippets, and striking FXs into a continuous storyboard with a break that will make your endorphins dance and pleases with a lovingly staged happy end.



Italian stallion Ivan Masa uses Afro House elements and sprinkles some melodic parts and softly playful groove to build the sound frame of “Nativity”. Dense spaces and percussions merge into an ethno inspired work of art that will flow straight into your body and soul.

Ikarius & Dhakka join with “Salvation”, a hypnotic production that catapults the audience into a next dimension with opulent synth chords and effects, crunchy claps and subtle toms. The track composition is indeed psychedelic and a powerful tool.

Ultimately, a compilation like this can only be brought into being by good old Herb himself. We bow to his wisdom and cannot wait for these seven gorgeous pieces.

Shinra displays his musical dexterity and diverse influences across this 4 track EP delving deeper into the realms of electro and techno.

'Route 909' serves up emotive melodies rooted down with a heavy kick before working the keys hard to maximum effect. 'Flyby' is a beautiful moment of electronic bliss reminiscent of the great Aphex Twin, while the acid soaked '1111' is a certified dance floor bomb.

Shinra isn't adverse to switching tempos and beats and can also deliver flawless techno. The cleverly structured and melodically complex 'On & On' rounds up the wax with a track that makes you want to drift away on the dance-floor, prepare to be transported to a future world where machines have emotions.

Protagonist of the - Dub Ass EP is Berlin-based and good old friend BEE LINCOLN, who makes noise these days with his label as usual.music! Two rumbling originals getting completed with an excellent pack of remixes by Ukrainin guys OUTSTRIP and label head FRANCCESCO BALLATO!

- Dub Ass in its original mix is nothing less than a bassy rave monster, which appears occasionally at the peak time in the center of the floor and eats you. Definitely it's the kind of unexpectable and not usual track, but the power of the synth bass has a taste of apocalypse. Furthermore on the A side is the reinterpretation by Mr. Questo Francesco Ballato, who strips down the elements and comes up with a groovin' minimal techno remix. Taking the bass stabs and setting up effectively in combination with the tuned percussions, creates a subtle driven piece which is extraordinarily worthful playing/dancing it.



The B-Side features at first Bee's original - Consciousness , which is grounded on a warm drifting bassline. Sneaky synth cuts are directing it to the question ‚What is conciousness' and gains a higher state of meaning. A divine female voice is trying to give an answer and leads into suspensful chords. The guys of Outstrip are masterminds of contemporary groovin techhouse and minimal stuff. They recently released on labels like Dogmatik Rec., Fantatstic Friends, Lapsus Music, Knee Deep In Sound, Antura or their very own vinyl imprint Outstrip Wax. So the remix is obviously made for the wax with a keen bassline and reduce the elements on its basic. Smartly giving it a deep touch, it gives the flawless part to have a rounded vinyl EP.

On a recent trip to the Saved studios we discussed at length, the strength and power of &Me's productions, with label boss Nic Fanciulli. Now the Berlin based man and firm member of the Saved family, returns to the imprint to follow up to his 2011 smash "Red Flag / Clamb."

A huge DJ favourite, &Me's productions soundtracked 2011, with his Saved double-header and his "Purple Rain" ep on Keinemusik taking root in the monthly Top 50 rundowns on Resident Advisor. Now he returns with another brace for the UK label.

"Matters" on the A is a track that immediately commands attention with it's rolling, rich bassline surrounded by punchy, organic drums. The effective vocal moves with the track as more drums are added to the mix through intelligent programming. As it reaches the main drop the drum rolls creating an intense buildup before the record kicks back in.

On the flipside is "Ashes". The record has a cool, slow feel yet with a driving edge that progresses towards the drop. The intensity matches the A side and seals off the package perfectly.

Following releases from Huerta, Mandar and Makcim & Levi last year, Oscillat kicks off 2019 with an assured, brooding club 12" from long-serving producer Matthew Dekay. Since surfacing in 2001, Dutch producer Dekay has put out a formidable body of work under a variety of aliases and in collaboration with producers including Lee Burridge and Maher Daniel. His sultry tech house approach has graced labels as highly regarded as Innervisions, Cecille, Aras and Maeve, and now he comes to Oscillat with "Spellbound," a track that finds him diving deeper than ever before into hypnotic, swinging rhythms loaded with atmosphere and longing. On the B side, Oscillat bosses Mandar (Lazare Hoche, Malin Genie and Samuel Andre Madsen) take Dekay's original and inject it with an infectious peak time energy, creating a straight-up, acid-flecked workout that sits in neat contrast with the immersive shuffle of the original.

The latest transmission on Aesthetic comes from Nolga, previously spotted alongside Michael James on the Hoarder label. The sound on this record is pure, classy minimal house executed with a fine ear for detail, leading in with the deep tracking "34100" before locking into the equally immersive "XYZ". The shuffle is strong on this 12", keeping up on the flip with the subtly dubby, utterly funky "Line Of Questioning" before launching into the crafty, bouncy tones of "Shelter". Immaculately produced with maximum body response in mind, this is another strong outing for Aesthetic and a promising next step for a highly promising producer.

'Rainmaker' is a six-track, double-vinyl EP crafted from the delicate-yet-powerful ingredients that are Recondite's signature. Free-falling from the tense opener 'Valvate' through various shades of his sound, you're at once enchanted by the alluring melodies and moved to dance. Unfortunately it took a bit of time to present here our third release, but luckily enough we are happy to show you now "We are Groove Cirqus EP". The duo from Italy brings three great tunes with enormous, nice rhythms on drums and percussion. "Semiprofessional musician" a smoot and deep track peppered with vocal shots, starts the EP followed by "U Better Hear" and "Think It Over". We needed a special, great remix, so we get Schallbox's owner Steve Cole who spend a phat and tight one, flavored with some synth sequences. We are sure these tracks will retune every mind and transform every dancefloor to a particular place.

Levi Bruce, aka Unknown Mobile, has been a prominent figure of the Canadian Underground for quite some time He resides in Montreal and has contributed to a number of North American labels. It seems only natural that he is the next release on Planet Euphorique. “Mobile Sorcery” could be his most rhythmically diverse 12” yet, recorded in just a couple of weekends it breaks free from 4 to the floor, experimenting confidently with syncopation, voices dipping in and out of focus. The opener Broke Melt presents a driving baseline filled with attitude, flickers of glistening synth arpeggios to soften the clanging drum patterns, working in harmony with delicate top lines. The hypnotic haze of textures carries through the record, A2 lifting in energy; shooting stabs, ricocheted sub base filling the space between commanding snares. The Beat Dub of Sorcery strips the track back to the essentials, resulting in a perfect tool for DJ’s building tension. Surprisingly keeping the essence of the tune whilst offering hints of more dubbed, percussive club pushing UK bass.

The B Side explores more of these unconventional rhythmic themes whilst highlighting the power of melody. Heavenly Depression accurately depicting it’s title, pulling on the struggle of your emotions through an ever-progressing lead woven tightly over sweeping pads. The closing track Wilders Lake ties the record together cohesively, lifted stabs to calm the tripped out percussion swooping in and out, growling bass alluding to darkness. The EP blends genres to create new feelings from familiar foundations, channelling Detroit inspired grit and emotion; well rounded to suit hazed and hedonistic dance-floors.

Following Lone AKA Matt Cutler's stunning sixth album 'Levitate's hallucinogenic joyride through breakbeats, he returns to R&S with 'Ambivert Tools' the first in a series of EPs for the floor returning to hypnotic 4/4 excursions.

Inspired in no small part by the rich seam of house that he's been excavating with his fine Magicwire imprint, a refreshed Cutler delivers an EP stacked with sure-fire bullets, crafted for his intoxicating DJ sets.

First up is 'Crush Mood' - crunching drums, lush resampled chords and dulcet female vox combine into a heady, peak-time rush. 'Chroma' comes off like a lost 90s anthem, with its shimmering vibes, airy chords and bumpy rhythm track. B-side closer 'From A Past Life' could well be the strongest track on the EP - hazy Emulator ii chords, spiral arpeggios, gooey bass and woozy african percussion that finds Lone digging deeper into some of his more esoteric House music influences.

'Ambivert Tools' finds Cutler a true master, at the top of his game - taking all he's learned over his many years of beat exploration and condensing it down into rugged house stacked full of nagging melody / harmony that elegantly pays tribute to bygone years whilst simultaneously feeling fresh and vital to 21st century dance floors.

Anthem alert, digging deep into the box marked "Detroit"! Polartronics aka legendary producer and DJ extraordinaire Terrence Parker delivers this almighty grooving kalimba led cut from 1993 on KMS offshoot Trance Fusion. This is one that will get the dance-floor moving in seconds, the real deep House deal!

The vocal mix on side A is a blend of whip-crack percussion sounds, whispered and spoken vocals and deeeep pads, a mixture of winding, melodic sounds that are a little more insistent than the languid instrumental take over on the B-side that somehow retains the mystical spirit of the previous mix but at 20,000 feet below sea level. As the EP title suggests, this is "The Deep" indeed. Absolutely killer stuff from the D here, with TP in full effect, do not miss out on this one!

Rainman EP is the first release of Iori Wakasa, our Japanese family member, on our label. He is a well known artist in the electronic scene and just released on Highgrade Records and SAW Records his last works. Rainman comes with an impulsive beat full of clear hi hats, paddy kick drums and melodic atmosphere of charming. Second track - Take U Antarctica' is the opposite of Rainman. Deep waves leads through the whole track, dark and tight drums and hi hats round it off.Neverm!nd the German duo from Berlin flavoured the remix with their own touch and Yosa a good friend of Iori put all his energy for creating his kind of remix which is awesome too. We really love all four tracks and can say that Iori Wakasa, Neverm!nd and Yosa serve us a solid EP in the end for being a perfectly driven for the dancefloor.

Jerome Hill, the man synonymous with the UK Underground for a couple of decades now arrives on DEXT with this 4 track EP and shows just why he is one of the country’s most underrated talents.

After his superb remix for Nightwave on our LTD label, we had to get him on board for an EP. The Super Rhythm Trax / Don’t Records boss really flexes his muscles on these heavyweight offerings – effortlessly blending super sharp drum programming with his signature “acidic bleeps and breaks” style, delivering 4 clever-yet-no-nonsense jams to make you move for a long time to come.

This is a man unquestionably at the top of his game both in the studio and behind the decks, and we couldn’t be happier to have him as part of the DEXT family.

We live in the era of 'more'. We spend our days trying to keep up with a seemingly infinite range of links to follow, pictures to see, sounds to hear, places to go, objects to desire, events to anticipate, heroes to cherish and villains to loath. But rather than freeing, too many options can become paralyzing. Consequently, we often find ourselves frustrated because of the experiences we will never have... without even knowing what we really want. The same goes with music creation in digital environments. Too many possibilities can also mean a tyranny of the "what if...". In this light, celebrating 'less' becomes vital. And that's exactly what swedish producer and Studio Barnhus affiliate Simon Haydo does in 'Redux'. All of the sounds in the album's nine tracks come from just one synth: the Korg MS20. As Simon puts it, the idea was to "maximize the use of less, basically. Less gear, less effects, less input from other people, less everything."Using only between 2 and 6 channels for every track, the result is a stripped but surprisingly rich sound, that delineates spatial Techno vignettes coated with the unmistakable charac- ter of the MS20 filters. Even more interestingly, this restraint is not only applied gear-wise, but also from an emotional point of view. "Instead of involving my own feelings, I let the voice of the MS20 take care of it", says Simon. All this makes 'Redux' an expression of techno in its purest form. After all, it's a kind of music that has always gravitated around simplicity, austerity and, of course, the believe that the machines have their own soul.

We Are The Brave boss Alan Fitzpatrick joins Rekids with ‘Step Away’, a euphorically chargedtechno release featuring two remixes from Planetary Assault Systems.

Having performed across the world at the likes of Watergate, fabric, Shelter and DC-10, renowned UKartist Alan Fitzpatrick has continued to bring driving techno to the forefront of electronic music culture since the early 2000s. With a ream of releases on Figure, Unknown To The Unknown, Drumcode, Hotflush and many more, he now launches into 2020 with his debut on Radio Slave’s revered imprint.

Fitzpatrick’s signature, thundering techno cut ‘Step Away’ opens with spacey toms, industrial kicks, delayed claps, pulsing bass and atmospherically sustained keys.

The hailed Mote-Evolver boss and esteemed remixer Luke Slater serves up two propulsive edits under his Planetary Assault Systems alias with the first remix being otherworldly with reverbed stabs, subtle arpeggiated synths, minimalistic drums whilst the second remix goes into overdrive with analogue beat programming, computerised melodies and a harrowing sub-frequency rhythm.
