Her second record, Overcast is a teeth-baring soundscape guided by commanding, rhythmic spells. The record's acidic slaps and punishing bass lines are uncompromising, recalling her darkly transcendental DJ sets. Overcast's masterful doom is punctuated with enigmatic sparks throughout-the light beckoning listeners into the darkness and onto the dance floor.

It's only been one year since Ireland's Rebuke put out his first release, yet his original sound has already catapulted him to the top of the class, and he makes his debut on Dirtybird with a two track EP, 'Jump Ship'.

The unique way Rebuke uses percussion alongside rolling bass and 90's-era stabs on 'Jump Ship' immediately grabbed our attention, and the cascading drums over the big bottom bass of 'The Pipe' is a striking piece of music that won't go unnoticed in any set.

South London's TROY TOWN once again draws from the local talent pool to follow the Wbeeza EP. This release opens up the detailed percussive and wide-eyed, rave-influenced productions of Copper Green Sedan.
The multi-instrumentalist was living a nomadic life through northern Europe formulating the key ideas of the EP from the back of a campervan before rounding them off back in the studio. The resulting three track EP that was delivered to us conveys a hectic melancholy.
'Pedestrian' is a driving, breaksy opener. It's sympathetic to the groovers on the dance floor and the thick chords balance the snappy percussion. 'Rolling in the Long Grass' is a glitchy trip through a meadow. Finally, 'Gene' is a dusty, hands-in-the-air banger destined to reignite a jaded dance floor as the sun comes up. Man of the moment Desert Sound Colony (Holding Hands/Touch From a Distance) lays down a beautifully bionic 'Pedestrian' edit to round off the EP.

The boys from Politics Of Dancing Records launch their new imprint, P.O.D CRXSS. It's a label of collaborations, of paths crossed, It's about friendship, having fun making music with each other. The first release is understandably done by parisian artists, as Djebali, Franck Roger and Politics Of Dancing have been long time friends, deejaying together for years. The result is two quality deep house tracks, cut for dance floors, one track pressed on each side of the vinyl for maximum dynamics and dj friendly use. Albion boys are back with their 9th installment, this time from relative newcomer on the french minimal scene Gab Jr.

Here the first release of OVNIE, label based in Madrid, presents this piece of wax in various artist format including tracks by Domenico Rosa, Himalaya Juice Culture, Pohl and Chris Geschwindner.

German duo Avidus bring their spellbinding style to Crosstown this March. The pair have conceived a four track EP that serves to showcase their unique sound.

Avidus have produced a mesmerising EP that submerges the listener in an intriguing sonic soundscape. On title track XII prominent drums arise alongside dramatic strings that create a track full of suspense. Psalm 23 opens with an ethereal vocal sample that bleeds into a high-octane beat that's pacing and intense. On the flip, Lux is a dreamy and emotive number, calmer than its predecessors with a breathtaking breakdown, whilst last year's Revenge Of The Whales gets a rework for Crosstown.

Hailing from Kiel in North Germany Fritz Wagner and Marc Wolf, aka Avidus, have forged a strong partnership over the years. Fritz began producing music in the late 90s, making Hip Hop beats and pop music before moving on to house. During his early years, Marc produced backing tracks for hardcore bands before DJ'ing at illegal, outdoor raves. He started his own night ENDVR at Kiel's Luna Club, where he invited guest such as Âme, Roman Flügel, Barnt and Marcus Worgull. Their diverse musical tastes and influences are apparent in their music, which refuses to be confined to any one genre. The duo launched their own imprint Empore Music in 2014 that has charted releases from Johannes Albert amongst others.

Blend Architect is a techno producer out of Japan in the lineage of DJ Nobu or Ken Ishii. 'Uncloud' - his very first release - is composed by 2 movements with 2 variations each.

Cloud 1.1 sets the initial atmosphere for 1.2 to jump in and offer a more tense body that will play deeply with our intellect and physicality. An apparent minimal universe but full of subtle details.
Cloud 2.1 opens the B side with a futuristic high voltage cut. Finally, Cloud 2.2 brings the time back to present tense and the dance continues!

Time for a little Recognition... Pets welcome a true Polish techno founding father to the fold: Jacek Sienkiewicz. DJ since the early 90s, producer since the late 90s and one of the earliest artists to stamp their country down on the techno map; Jacek was one of the first Polish producers to be signed by the likes of Trapez, Cocoon and Klang and laid down the foundations for the likes of Pets founders Catz N Dogz several years later when they emerged as 3 Channels. OG status confirmed, he's remained just as consistent as he is influential. This single is proof: 'SU17' is a bubbling sine cauldron that starts with a simmer but builds to a boil with its ever-morphing, lava-like flow. Expert drum momentum and sudden layers of instrumental help to create a fluid three-track-in-one experience that spellbinds you crowd for the entire eight minutes without realising. 'Mustang' is a cascading synth odyssey that gently rises and falls like an Escher looped staircase. Gradually building in momentum with more of Jacek's signature hypnosis flare, it's not until the drums double up with an almost live-style visceral feel that you realise just how high Jacek's taken you. It comes complete with a star-lit switch from Berlin's serial innovator Tobias, where the synths are deftly refocused and a whole layer of orchestral delight are layered within. The perfect way to follow up last summer's reissue of his 2002 track 'Case Filter' on 'Friends Of Pets Part 3', Jacek and Pets feedback loop of roots, inspiration and future is beginning to warm up...

Sebastian Mullaert is well known for his work as one half of the highly respected Swedish duo Minilogue, responsible for killer releases for the likes of Cocoon, Crosstown Rebels and Wagon Repair, alongside breathtaking live shows as a solo outfit as well as their joint live act with Matthew Jonson.
Working from the idilic setting of the mystical Swedish forest, Sebastian Mullaert has has been making serious waves on his solo artist journey, lending his signature hypnotic sound to labels like Mule Musiq, Drumcode, Minus, Kontra-Musik and Ovum. His one of a kind spellbinding live show is illuminating the world's finest stages such as Panorama Bar - Berlin, Concrete - Paris, Fabric - London, Labyrinth Festival - Japan, Black Market - NYC to name a few and can be witnessed on his recent Boiler Room and XLR8R sessions.
At nearly 13 tantric minutes long, 'Windmaker' bubbles and teases with freestyle keys with an almost Middle Eastern flavour, as Mullaert plays snake charmer to his machines, coaxing out deft melodies, airy cymbals and on point beats and percussion. It's a track to completely get lost in, crafted with fine sonics and a gloss that only an artist like Mullaert can achieve with ease. The enigmatic Ukranian producer, Vakula, is drafted in to give a re-interpretation of 'Windmaker', edgy phased stabs puncture the minimal techno beat, bouncing and reverberating off the kick drum to create a glorious wall of dubby sound that compliments the original mix a treat. Vakula has always impressed with his creative and original music for labels like Firecracker, Dekmantel and his own Leleka imprint, so it's a privilege to have him remix on Hypercolour.

With the Audiothentica 007, the DJ and producer Sascha Lebemann from Frankfurt is returning to the sound production scene after a few years. After the Audiothentica 001, he is responsible for the seventh Release on his own label. On the latest AT Records, he was releasing the Output from Acts like Martin Woerner, Franksen, Dominik Musiolik, Broombeck or Frank Leicher. As a longtime resident DJ of the most important and high-quality event series in Frankfurt, Lebemann is constantly setting new standards, also as a signpost for the next generations.

With LIVING, he is releasing an EP away from the current techno hype. In Advance, the four tracks have already been created within the last six years. Minimal Techno works, with a slight tech-housy influence. Extremely groovy. His personal tributes to his experience.

LIVING - The title track promises a hymn-like feeling. Summery grooves, percussions and synths push the track to the limit of the euphoria.

Arrival - This production can be compared with a landing of extraterrestrials. An extremely powerful tune, which should convince everyone from the second break at the latest. More Groove goes barely.

Los Elefantes Ibicencos - The Ibizan elephants. Having lived for two years in Ibiza, and still loving the island far away from commercialization, the Lebemann processes his feelings for the magical island in one track. Beading Claps and Snares, Spilled Percs - Los Elefantes Ibizencos grooved into the listener's ear.

Lost in Sao Paulo - When the young Lebemann was still on tour with one of the most important electro musicians of our time - in Brazil, more precisely in the 25 million city Sao Paulo. Here you can lose yourself quickly. In this track, however, you will be more likely to find yourself. Warm basses stimulate the synapses of the listener. Lost in Sao Paulo has the same Anthem-Character as the title track Living.

Panic Sounds Records is an emerging Berlin-based label ran by Italian producer Lorenzo Panico. Focused on all aspects of house and techno, the label promises a wide remit of different sounds, many of which come to the fore on their debut release, SixFingers' quite brilliant X EP.

Getting us underway is the sounds of Modern Cassette', a minimal effort that chugs along at a steady pace before some elegant keys breathe new life into the equation. Simple yet devilishly effective, it'll tickle any dancefloor it's allowed to let loose on.

Next up is Pleasure MPC zone'. An ode to the ubiquitous MPC sampler, this one is a rollicking journey that's notable for its tight percussion and deep motifs. A harmonious balance between two very different sounds, it combines both with an assured effectiveness that's nothing if not admirable. Much more multilayered than what's come before, it's certainly the most distinct track on display here.

The B side gets going with 'Vivi the Soul', a bleepy techno workout that's crammed with suspense throughout. We're then left with culminating effort Jazz Reverse', a track that does exactly what it says on the tin. A trippy, hazy effort that's full of melancholic wares, it signs off with the sort of distinction that's evident throughout.

Earlier this summer Monaberry misters Super Flu sailed into the summer with their stately 'Ark'. Big and groovy enough to contain 200 of every animal, they eventually crashed it after a summer of their sweetest technoid soirees. Now safely back on dry land, the duo lure us back into the clubland winter months with two more provocative slices of dancefloor theatre.

'Selee' sets the scene with strong mystic twinges and twangs and a dynamic arrangement that peaks and troughs on its own momentum. Cathedral like in height and scope, rain forest like in its density and intensity, if this doesn't grab your dancefloor by the short and curlies, you're playing to the wrong crowd.

Speaking of wrongs, 'Bongbeat' is here to abstain you from any you feel you might have committed this summer. A strident piece of stompcraft laced with fluent acid sinews and a raw gutsy call to arms preach, if you don't feel cleansed after dropping this warehouse shattering jam then you need to consult a physician.

Moon Harbour welcome UK based, Greek born artist Tennan for their latest EP. Next to his three originals label regular Detlef serves up a fine remix.

Although a newcomer, Tennan has long been soaking up underground dance music as a dancer, DJ and student of music technology in Leeds. He has a slick sound that has landed him on Viva Music, 20/20 Vision and Repopulate Mars, and now he makes another huge stride forward with his fresh offerings here.

The excellent 'Everyday' kicks things off in infectious and party-starting fashion with restless drums and loose percussion all getting you on your toes. Enveloping sub bass rolls down low and the addition of a vocal loop and curious synth sound really finish things in style.

Detlef appeared here last in 2013 with his Daxx EP, and now shows off the evolution of his sound with a killer remix. His take on 'Everyday' flips the cut into something more incendiary, with huge hi hat loops layered in and an even more freaky and dehumanised vocal adding a weird aspect to the razor sharp tech house groove.

Tennan then comes on strong once more with 'NahDah', a track built on woodpecker kicks that rattle your ribs. Funky little bass riffs get you shaking your behind and clever filters make for playful passages of tension and release. It's essential dancing music of the highest order, as is closer 'Malouca', the prickly and spiky cut with metallic percussive sounds, whirring machines and squelchy acid synths all zipping about like a cat on a hot tin roof.

There is a real sense of humour and cheekiness to this EP that makes it yet another standout effort from Moon Harbour as they snap up an explosive new talent.

Hector's Vatos Locos Recordings returns with the label boss himself joining forces with VL family, David GTronic.

Unravelling across 10 minutes, 'Holding On' opens up this three tracker, offering a deep journey through the minimal grooves that Vatos Lacos is becoming a go-to label for. Surging kicks and crisp hats lay the groundwork for expansive undertones and sweeping pads, layered up with modulated stabs that delve into the depths of the track's melancholic makeup.

Taking to the flip, 'Gabacho' follows with an immersive roller coupling a rumbling, big room kick with glitched out synthwork and overdriven vocals that twist and turn with crunched up hits. It's lo-fi, sci-fi, set to take listeners to another dimension.

Closing out the EP, 'Villa Kubu' probes even deeper with menacing pads thundering in the background as crisp percussion cuts through to the fore. Erie and ominous in equal parts, it never loses that sure-fire groove that Hector and David make looks so effortless in their programming.

The OUER guys just live down the road from us in Berlin and we have been crossing paths many times these past years so it is with great joy we can finally present a full EP with their unique approach to electronic music on Dirt Crew Recordings. Since their debut on 'HEIST' in 2016 Xaver and Oliver have consistently pushed their sound and production, on their own OUER imprint they released four EP's up till now and the latest called 'E' is just a few weeks old as we speak. The A side opens with the title track 'Stingray Nebula', a bliss composition of layered arpeggios underlined by a deep sub bass, building steadily towards etheric strings setting in and descending again with a break beat ending that builds perfect grounds for the following dance floor stomper 'Undine'. That second A side track is a great mix of Deep House and Electronica and is what makes OUER's music so special, almost entering trance territories here but keeping those Chicago and Detroit references alive. When we head over to the B side we encounter some new tracks that really made us want to release this EP in the first place. The beautiful 'Thales' contains live bass and percussive instrumentation and is a crossover indie-tronica gem. Following that is the deep 'Inside' where an 'emo' piano themed House jam meets clever vocal sampling and filtered synth stabs to produce a great going groove. Closing out we have some real ambience electronica for you in 'Train Ride to Bratsk', again played mostly live and using acoustic instruments recorded in their Berlin studio the OUER guys are crossing borders again and turned out this piece of goodness. Enter the world of OUER, we hope you like it as much as we do!

Jack's House Recordings is back with another instalment of the Jacks Tracks VA series. Previous releases have included artists such as Alex Arnout, Terry Francis, Tuccillo, James Dexter and 2VILAS. Instalment number 3 features 4 great artists feat Rich Nxt, Politics Of Dancing, Julenn and Legit Trip.
First up is Rich NxT from the UK with a dark rolling number with a quirky melody coming in and out of the arrangement with subtle drum n bass influences also coming through.
Next up on the A side are popular duo from France, Politics Of Dancing with a solid house track that grooves all the way through carried along by a strong baseline and stabs.
On the B side, Julenn (also from France) who launched his first track with the imprint, is back with another brilliant slightly jackin influenced track full of punch, drive, busy percussion and some celebratory vocal snippets popping up in the breakdown
Last but by no means least, the talented Legit Trip from Russia with Djedai. This super cool understated minimal house track will have you head nodding from the start to the end and has a interesting Russian spoken vocal ! This track definitely is the definition of less is more, and this one will stay in your head.

And if you know his material from previous releases on the likes of MoBlack and Chapter 24, you'll already know how much attention this should command... 

'Modest Is Hottest': not just a fine life motto, but also vitalising slice of incredible dancefloor emotion. A rolling agenda based around a rising arpeggio, this surges beyond limits taking you and the crowd higher and higher on every bar, this is the epitome of evocative story telling techno.

"20/20 Vision's was founded on the idea of 'perfect sight'. We wanted people to have a clear vision of music. A big part of that musical vision was our influences from the origins of Electro music - from the original Electro Pop pioneers Kraftwerk and Yello to more experimental laboratories of Raymond Scott, Tomita, Wendy Carlos and the BBC Radiophonic workshop. We also loved the next wave of Electro from Detroit brought by Juan Atkins and Cybotron. All the early 20/20 Vision output was produced at Farmhouse Studios by Carl Finlow, who went on to record as Random Factor, Voice Stealer and Silicon Scally. Now that output is regarded as classic Electro. It now seems like a great moment again to dive back into the deep and find the next generation of electro artists... Welcome Chris Roman aka 214 with the 'Ingalls Way', a record filled with the kind of creativity and production skills we have become accustomed to with his music over the years. After previous outings on electro institutions Frustrated Funk and Central Processing Unit, 214 now appears for the first time on 20/20 Vision. From the atmospheric tones of 'Potential Events', the manic energy of 'Windeye' and the deeper grooves of 'Back To Sine', it's an EP that leaves no stone unturned in the intergalactic sonic quest. On remix duties we have none other than Keith Tenniswood aka Radioactive Man, who also makes his first appearance on the label. Joe Hart and Scott Fraser's Body Hammer, London's legendary jack party has been capturing the hearts, minds and feet of Londoners for 11 years strong. Having kicked off in 2008 at the Korsan Bar, and now comprising only of residents Scott & Joe, it takes place in various venues every month. Their open minded music policy commands a friendly, spirited, diverse and fiercely loyal crowd making it consistently one of the best nights out in the city, hands down. More recently, taking the party out of London they have been touring at clubs and festivals from New York to Berlin in and everything in between. They now have their own label and its 100% Body Hammer dancefloor certified.

The first release, of course, features two banging club tracks written and produced by Fraser and Hart at Fraser's East London basement studio, mastered and cut by Keith Tenniswood at Curve Pusher.

The A side, 'Spit from the Sun' is a peak-time jacking acid number which will set any dancefloor on fire. Its rattling drums and pulsing bass stabs capture all the intensity of the convict poet on the vocal telling his story and lamenting the waste of his life behind bars.

After three major releases by Tell, Nachtbraker and S3A, its time for debuting Italian artist Verner to close our beloved Trophy Quartet. This Milanese key virtuoso is ready to blow your mind with this eccentric yet humble ep, taking you on an emotional journey. Long stretched pads, playful chord progressions, organic percussion all produced with analogue 70's and 80's vintage synthesizers and drum computers in Verner's studio reminding us a bit of Harvey Sutherland and Nu Guinea's style. We're talking groove, funk, jazz but also house and soundtrack style compositions which together form a very complete record carefully A&R'd by Nachtbraker.

Drop the needle on the A side and you'll start off with L'inizio, a majestic piece of synthwork. Hurdling through different emotions and vibes, this could easily be the intro of one of your favourite 80's tv series. Upset takes you on a happy groovy tour whilst Crash of the Web Era and The Motion Pictures take us on a trippy and ambient voyage that is hard to wake up from. When flipping the record to the B side, Verner is stepping back into the groove and funk with Tecladista, arguably the dance floor hit of this debut EP. Starting of with again a majestic synth intro Area drops into a festive funk and jazz bomb with some intricate synth work treating us with some lovely solos. Closing this versatile EP is Late Night Job, a deep, deep tune with a thriving baseline and mesmerizing synths.

An all-time rave classic gets the Gerd Janson re-loving as he works his magic on the 1992 anthem 'Don't Go'.
26 years on from it's first release, Gerd takes the tempo down a notch laying out that all too familiar drum break, instantly recognisable piano line and Julie McDermott's timeless vocals. His subtle touches and added weight, behind a pounding kick, are sure to set any dancefloor alight. About as euphoric as they get - if this doesn't do the business then god help us all.
On the B side, Belfast's Ejeca flips 'Don't Go' into a heavy-hitting, rave tinged, techno bomb. His inventive sampling turns the synth stabs and vocals on their heads, making them almost indistinguishable, but no less impactful, from the original. It's over four and a half minutes till the iconic chord progression is heard in it's initial form, before Ejeca throws it back into a rapid fire, industrial thumper.Lastly, Gerd serves up a VIP Dub mix echoing claps and synth lines into the stratosphere whilst leaving the vocals at bay, save a short cry of 'Don't Go' from Julie towards the end of the track, allowing those anthemic elements to do the talking. A modern touch on an all-time classic from Gerd with a complete reinterpretation from Ejeca, this is a heavyweight release and one that's already being played by the biggest and the best out there.

London house & garage sounds drawing on influences from the past and mixing them with the future.

Sometimes, there is a certain attention for a new artist and you can actually feel that this one is about to go through the roof. This is exactly the feeling we have with Few Nolder right now. With releases and tracks on Boso, Suol, Cloud Vision and not to forget his little summer hit - IF' on Connaisseur in late August, the Vilnius resident has caught quite some attention over the last months. Now, he completes this successful and busy year with his frst full EP on Connaisseur called - Moli', featuring three new lovely tracks. One of Few Nolder's talents is to compose state-of-the-art music which also has a timeless approach. The a-side - Twin' is one of those tracks. Sounds and melodies which stick in your mind straight away and an on point buildup make - Twin' one of those universal tunes which can be played in every moment. - Sonar' on b1 is a bit more reduced and raw. Played at the right moment it is a heavy hitter, with its memorable break and the big synth theme. On b2 you will fnd the title track and maybe also the hidden hit of the release. The bittersweet - Moli" is a delicate extravaganza with big melodies and emotions.

Four years since his last EP release and Josh Wink is back with Balls on Ovum.
Since his acclaimed album release in 2009 with 'When A Banana Was Just A Banana', Josh Wink has been heavily touring and working on building a new studio. Last year he produced his greatest creation to date, a beautiful baby son. After taking some time out to enjoy his newly found fatherhood, he finally got into his brand new studio towards the end of 2012. The outcome was 'Balls' - a ten-minute drive of pulsing intensity bating towards a huge breakdown, unlike any of Wink's work to date...
'I am always surprised with what happens when I go into the studio after not being in there for a while. I feel heavily inspired to make music by all the great things I hear and from personal experiences that have occurred over the past year. I didn't expect to make a techno track. However, the grooves came quickly and naturally along with the hypnotic analog pulses. Originally I came up with the foundation of my grooves using a beta version of Ableton's Live 9. And after I constructed the fundamentals of the track- I hit record, tweaked and grooved the components live for 20 minutes, and then tightened up and edited the best parts into a sequence. Then I played out, got some new ideas from crowd interaction, and re-tweaked and made improvement.



When describing the track to Matt (Ovum label manager) I was saying that I think that you really have to have balls to play this track, as it's a little different from most of the music out there right now. The track's time couldn't be edited down any further as the story and journey wouldn't be conveyed. So, the ten minutes is DJ friendly and I'm happy that I can express my tale. The track, usual of my work, is based on aural textures and tension. The breakdowns have changed through several attempts, and are now adjusted to drive the crowds, whether in clubs or festivals.' - Josh Wink
When you're as iconic a figure as Josh Wink, it's noso easy to sum up a career in a few words—but there are a couple of terms that might serve to get a handle on the seminal electronic-music producer's lifework. One of the most apt, certainly, would be longevity. A brief scan of Wink's mammoth résumé reveals the following: Early-'80 days as an underage mobile DJ; a major role in fostering his native Philadelphia's burgeoning warehouse scene during the house-music explosion later that decade; name-making '90s club hits like 'Don't Laugh,' 'Higher State of Consciousness' and 'I'm Ready'; a label, Ovum Recordings, that's undisputedly one of the most essential dance-music imprints; and his current position, after all these years, as one of the scene's most vibrant and creative DJs and producers (witness the critical success of his 2009 long-player When A Banana Was Just A Banana).

After the extremely solid album of the Romanian due earlier this year, Cristi Cons and Vlad Caia (SIT) are coming up with a beautiful limited edition vinyl release on their new home label - Sushitech. The original version of Alternate is a warm and dreamy, atmospheric track that keeps pushing the boundaries of the modern Romanian / Berlin minimal house sound.
On the flip UK legend and label veteran Steve O'Sullivan takes things dubby and funky with his original strong trademark sound. As all other limited edition releases on the label this will probably be very much sought after - don't sleep.

Following his debut full length in 2016, Youandewan returns in 2017 with four pacey club tracks on his own label, The Brane.

Scottish producer Austin Ato collaborates with Jamaican reggae artist Brushy One String for this release on Defected Records, 'Oh Mama'. The producer has been active under various guises for over a decade, recently releasing on Phonica White and Futureboogie as Austin Ato, as well as some very fine remixes for the likes of Balako and Folamour. 'Oh Mama' is a stripped back release, giving space to the folky qualities of Brushy One String's voice alongside the warm acoustic tones of a double bass line. The Dub does away with the majority of the vocals, substituting saxophone and synths.

Jansons is a name that has come into real prominence on the underground dance scene in the last couple of years. The established producer has engineered for artists releasing on some of the industrys leading labels like Knee Deep In Sound, Leftroom Records and VIVa Music and we are happy to give this burning EP a home at Nick Curly and Gorge's label 8bit.

London based producer O'Flynn has announced his latest 12' on his new label Hundred Flowers, following a string of critically acclaimed single releases on Blip Discs and Ninja Tune, further solidifying his status as one of dance music's most captivating new club producers.

His new 12' release further refines and develops his signature afro-influenced house sound. A side TKOTN functions as a tense, glitchy club cut punctured by an explosive tribal drum pattern, manipulated vocals and a visceral, bass-driven pulse. On the flip side, Siberian Goose Down begins as a propulsive house track which intensifies throughout with warm percussive energy and intoxicating groove.

The secret gem of Space Disco vibes, Ichisan will be releasing his new EP via Kanto Records. First track of the EP, Megla (The Fog) is some sort of an instrument showcase by the Slovenian producer, who used his analog synthesizers deftly to accompany the funk-house strumming of his bass and electric guitars, both played by the artist himself.

Veter (The Wind) is a five-minute-long journey into the depths of unique and captivating musical mind of Ichisan, daring to be simple yet invoking majestic feelings. Third and fourth track of the EP, Planica and Yassa are more dancefloor oriented tunes that beam with positivity and energy, both have the potential to become anthems of the summer and beyond.

The next offering on Crosstown Rebels comes from Italian trio Pastaboys, who gift us with a rhythmic and hypnotic three-parter. They invite the inimitable Rebolledo to take on remix duties to complete this package.

The EP is a trance-inducing affair. The trio lure us in with opener Kolo Kolo. Its funky rhythm sets a precedent as its trance-inducing power builds layer upon layer into an intoxicating and hypnotic groove. Abbassa is up next. Heavy on the bass, with a sensuality that is palpable. The African vocal adds a tribal touch before the track tumbles into a crescendo of urgent synths. Welcome to PETS EDITS. 001 is the Catz 'n Dogz Edit of Blue Hawaii's 'Try To Be'. A track that has received an incredible response when played out and through their official soundcloud stream. Canadian duo Blue Hawaii have been releasing music since 2010 but it was their Untogether album from 2012 that really announced them on the world stage. Recorded throughout the Vancouver and Montreal Winter and Spring the album was said to reflect the vast world of self-awareness and delicacy. Try To Be instantly stood out for Catz 'n Dogz and became a firm ipod favourite on their global travels. A little tinkering and soon the guys had a version for their sets. The perfect blessing came from the band themselves who contacted the pair to let them know how much they liked it. Staying true to the original, Catz 'n Dogz underpin the Guitar line and beautifully melancholic vocals of Ra with a crisp understated 4/4 beat. Pfeiffer follows in the footsteps of labels such as Svek and Kompakt, known for releasing a wide range of techno and house with a common thread of unique and unpredictable energy. Looking to bring this type of eclectic curation into the modern era, Pfeiffer draws inspiration from the raw simplicity and effortless magnetism of its namesake location on the central coast of California.

Pfeiffer's third release sheds its veil of anonymity in style, bringing U.K. pioneers Waze & Odyssey to the label. Hot off the success of their summer smash "Everything," Waze & Odyssey's latest track 'Upper Thrust' is a veritable journey, twisting and turning through deft synth stabs, ravey vocal cuts, and a dreamy breakdown. Halo's DJ-kicks packs a lot in to just 60 minutes. It kicks off with the firstof two of her own exclusives, 'Public Art', a tactile piano loop that sets themelodic tone of the mix in focus. Crunchy drums soon take over and begin whatis a blistering ride through electro, trippy minimalism and textures thatrange from icy and dubby to steel plated and sharp from the likes of Red Axes,Parris and an exclusive from Rrose. Another exclusive, rough and ready cut from Machinewoman follows, before themid section twists and turns on surging drum patterns, frantic industrialtextures and spaced out gqom sounds from the likes of Griffit Vigo, DarioZenker and Final Cut. This year we have reached our long term goal as a label which was to expand our releases into the wax department. We feel like we've done a good job bringing upcoming and original local talent to the surface so far and it is only fitting that our first vinyl release is done by the Icelandic duo David & Hjalti.
The duo has been busy with the production since their arrival from Manchester and have played a number of great live sets underlining their skills as producers. We feel that this release is the high standard we set ourselves before going vinyl and that this is just a small first step in a fruitful beginning for the producers David & Hjalti.

Mid November will see Retrograde co-founder Marlon Hoffstadt pair up with Paris Brightledge for 'Shattered'. Following a run of releases for his Retrograde label and a track featured on the 100 Dirt Crew Compilation Berlin based DJ and producer Marlon Hoffstadt continues his upwards trajectory, once again enlisting the services of legendary Chicago vocalist Paris Brightledge who recently collaborated with Paranoid London on their 'Paris Dub 1 & 2' records. Stepping up first is the original mix of 'Shattered' with Hoffstadt and Brightledge delivered a raw, experimental house feel via broken drums breaks, sweeping synth chords and acidic bass chops, whilst Paris' vocal stylings add a soulful edge to the record. An 'Instrumental' mix of 'Shattered' follows and as the name would suggest lays focus on the rhythmic and melodic aspects of the composition, shining light on the swinging breaks, emotive string melodies. Lastly to complete the package is 'Elevate' which sees Hoffstadt fuse weighty drums and ethereal pad swells with arpeggio synth leads and subtly unfolding intricacies, whilst Brightledge's understated vocal contributions further fuel the records hypnotic feel.

Sakro has built up a formidable body of work, dropping stripped-back bombs on such esteemed labels as Pleasure Zone, Housewax, Visionquest, Raum...Musik and many more besides. He now makes the latest addition to the Half Baked family, following up the various artists' 8 Years Of Love EP, which featured label regular Mike Shannon amongst others. The mood on Millions Of Stars EP is urgent and infectious, all uptempo house jack infected with playful basslines and subliminal atmospherics in keeping with the distinctive Half Baked sound. 'A Violent Disturbance In A Crowd' EP, Stephan Barnem delivers a rabble rousing three tracker EP of blistering techno. Being heavily championed by Maceo Plex, this is another great release for his great Ellum imprint.

Originally born in Brazil, but raised between Berlin and Venice, Stephan Barnem. His latest 3 tracker on Ellum is a powerful beast, featuring the lead track 'Violent Disturbance', a hypnotic techno infused groover of epic proportions. On the flip and Kina, featuring Junyi on vocals get's tougher as we are spirited away in haze of hedonism. Finally 'H' is a dark destroy prodding the analogue underbelly of the EP into submission!

The EP opens with 'I Need', a pulsating ear worm of a track that wastes no time in luring you into its embrace.
Perhaps leaving the best till last and bringing it back to the four-to-the-floor touch, Theo's Party is on the money, boasting that favoured 90's House flare with a sprinkling of modern flavour designed to have fists punching the air at any time of day or night.

The latest from the Galdoors stable: Cafe Nostalgia takes off, a pumping slab of bubbling bleeps and bass with creeping pads to chew on as you go. Looped-up rounds off, with layers of restless, twittering snippets wrapping you up in a wigged out groove. One-to-watch from Junes on his own imprint.

The four tracks on this EP represent a bit of a transitional phase for Louis Jaquet (aka Kid Who), marking a move from a basic setup with an MPC2000XL sampler and a computer to a fully-fledged hardware studio. The initial versions of these tracks were quick jams that he had made early on in this change, but which had lay dormant on his hard drive for some time, before being revisited and reworked for this release with the new equipment.

'Rhythm Code' began life as an exercise in using only freely distributed software synths, and the majority of those sounds are still there, bar some additional acid sequences and tweaks to the rhythm parts.

On 'ZF Cut' his focus switched to samples, in an effort to squeeze the most he could out of his MPC, which at the time had only recently been upgraded. The unassuming beige box gives colour to anything you feed into it (breakbeats in particular), and a host of basic onboard effects add further quirky character, in this case hollow drones and rumbles which are the core of the track.

One of Kid Who's early purchases was a cheap old Yamaha multitrack cassette recorder, which presents many opportunities for sound manipulation. Different tape speeds, tape types and manual manipulation during playback open up a world of noisy, woozy atmospheres, some of which formed the basis of 'Spool Night'.

Of all four, 'Timescape' required the least revising, and the version presented here is very close to the original, 100% computer-based draft. Although the beat was built with Roland 707 drum machine sounds, a staple of early Chicago house records, he wanted to juxtapose these with a more up-to-date techno aesthetic, with a handful of final touches added in the new studio to finish
