Happy to have Chicago Damn do a 12 for us. Always loved his work. The dirty grooves and nasty sampling. That's what he does really, innit

We are happy to welcome Jan Ketel & Siggatunez back on wax
together. While Siggi introduces the A-side with “Queens”, a
90ies RnB-flavoured piano anthem and continues with
“Downtown Pattern”, a typical rough and rolling piece of
samplework with a twist, Jan keeps going on the B-side with
“Bring Me Back”, a very impulsive and funky floorfiller and
finally satisfies us with “Juno's Prophet”, a deephouse futureclassic from the books you can listen to endlessly. Both give
us their trademark sound which is all we want!...basement and
dancefloor approved!

Beath presents his debut album 'Dreams From Last Night'. A conceptual album in which the spanish producer brings us closer to different sounds that would be part of any day in a luxurious tropical paradise. The 8 tracks included in the vinyl would revolve around the smooth funk with a clear influence of the sounds of the 80s. In addition, the artwork of the album includes the cover illustration by the japanese designer Yoko Honda.

'VYG03' introduces a new member to the Voyage fold In Melbourne's analogue beat-maker M5K. Five tracks spanning beats, boogie, house and funk, the EP is a great snap shot of who M5K is as an artist. The flip features a heavy remix from Germany's IMYRMIND and his MPC.

Voyage returns with a six track EP from Melbourne's M5K. featuring a lush, swung-out remix by Box Aus Holz' IMYRMIND on the flip. An exploration into analogue boogie, Marcy Ave shows M5K's versatility with five tracks paying homage to his hip-hop, boogie and house roots

Spring has finally landed and we have the perfect soundtrack for those long sunny afternoon in the park. We are glad to present Explorer of the Humankind for his first release with us. Starting with Stars in her eyes, a gentle track where the Lyon newcomer use his voice as well as real drums for a smooth listening-experience. Following in the same vein but a touch more upbeat is Just a Tool, a more playful funk-inspired piece. Closing the a-side, Share the Love takes the tempo a bit higher and and shifts toward more club-friendly territories, houses goodness.

Turn that disc and get awake for I Know, a disco-edit piece with trace of french heritage and filter action. Lastly, Deep Inside takes us into a gentle profound dreamy state, moving more on the inside than with the feet.

ADAM CHINI is most known as the keyboardist for BRIAN ELLIS's REFLECTION BAND. This LP is a spaced out tribute to love in all the right ways. Epic synth & tripped out drum machines with ADAM providing all production & vocals. Intimate, psychedelic boogie classic here for sure. Check it! Out on Chitown’s own STAR CREATURE RECORDS. DISCO RETRO

The first loft family ep starts with an irresistible funky house track made by the label owner Rocco Detroit, continue with Alan da Funk - street house, a sample based disco track, with an old school imprints.

On the flip side Class Affairs delivered by Akyra is an hypnotic mix between break and house groove, fulfilled with smooth pads and synths that bring you to a new deep dimension.
Understand closes the ep with a powerful groove, typical of Manuold productions.

Moon B debut for his own imprint World Aurale. Check!!

Disco-funk recorded in London in the late-70s by Fungai Malianga who’d relocated from South Africa to North London. His funk-led ode to his manor with ‘Finsbury Park Party’ sportin’ Break-beats, tape echo, horn section and a narrative on Harringay’s finest known landscape. This is backed by a disco-funk version of Lennon–McCartney’s ‘Things We Said Today’, not only the most unknown version until now but also the grooviest. Drum & bass grooves to the max.

Fenech-Soler produce perfectly distilled post-millennial dancefloor pop

Launched in 2018 with two first EPs, Broken District continues to explore alternative music styles with the third instalment of its VA series.

The label's territory here expands to Jazz & Soul-influenced electronic music landscapes, with productions from Turbojazz, Setwun, Leon Revol, Duktus and the label's co-founders Jus Jam and Momla.

Following on from the success of the debut release on his own TNC imprint, a slow burner rapturously received by a host of DJs from The Black Madonna to Fatboy Slim and Artwork, Lemmy Ashton finally returns to the pressing plant for a second installment, delivering another trio of irresistible underground anthems that shoot for maximum dancefloor fulfillment.

Boogie Café continue their incredible form by offering up three tracks of deep house goodness from Aroop Roy.

The A side 'Good Times' sweeps in with a bumping house cut, laced with feverish vocal cutups whilst the B side hits first with a hazy, deep synth stab groover, and finishes on a blistering, afro-tinged slice of funk fuel.

Danny Berman aka Red Rack'em is back with 2 more burners on his much loved Bergerac label. After slaying everyone last year with Wonky Bassline Disco Banger and this years hotly tipped Self Portrait LP he's got his sights set firmly on the dancefloor once more.

2017 has been a vintage year for the Berlin based DJ producer with Radio 1 mixes, serious air miles, remixes for Tensnake, Tinie Tempah, shows for Rinse and after a hectic summer, it's time to focus on his own productions and get back to what he does best. Making slamming house cuts designed for maximum floor damage.

Place For Me (Version) is a cut up, pumping, soulful disco house slammer. Originally released in 2009, it's been updated and remastered and is another great example of Red Rack'ems ability to chop up vocal samples and make something fresh from them. Guaranteed club wrecker, which served as a pre-cursor to WBDB and thus needs to be out there once more.

Exhalt is a super deep, spiritual house number with vibes galore. Deep pads and crisp beats combine with deep bass in an ecstacy tinged, euphoric disco number. One for the heads....

Melvo Baptiste steps up to mix his second Glitterbox compilation, 'Pump The Boogie!', featuring the upfront disco heat that has been setting off the dancefloor all summer at Glitterbox parties in New York, Amsterdam, London and Ibiza. A contender for the hottest party on earth, this Glitterbox season saw record numbers through the doors at Hï Ibiza, with Melvo himself playing his first headline sets in the club's main room, the Theatre. 'Pump The Boogie!' reflects the sounds of the Theatre, moving from the joyful 80s and 90s sounds of The Emotions 'Turn It Out' and Kathy Brown 'I Appreciate' through modernised classics like Sister Sledge 'Got To Love Somebody' remixed for 2018 by disco maestro Dimitri From Paris. More so than ever this edition has a heavy focus on the latest upbeat dancefloor killers from the last 12 months, like Selace 'So Hooked On Your Lovin'' (Mousse T.'s Extended Disco Shizzle) and Gershon Jackson presents Reset Preset 'Hands Together' (House of Omni Hands Together Extended Club Mix), the exceptional new release from the Glitterbox imprint.

Demonstrating what Glitterbox does best, 'Pump The Boogie!' explores authentic dance music enhanced by live instrumentation. Mighty Mouse 'The Spirit', another Glitterbox release, uses percussion and brass blasts to build energy, DJ Mes 'Da Change' (Miguel Migs Salty Rub) carries a captivating guitar hook and Paradise Express 'Dance' (Special 12' Disco Mix) features the unmistakeable backing of a full disco band. The album's namesake 'Pump The Boogie' (Basstoy Boogie Mix) by Mark Picchiotti goes full throttle with chest-pounding groove, strings and earworm vocal. Melvo's 'Pump The Boogie!' beckons you to the dancefloor once again with a truly stomping, timeless compilation.

Another classic from Dutch 'High Fashion Music' in it's original High Fashion 1982 sleeve. Original released on the Musix Records imprint in 1982, produced by legendary Italian producer Maurizio 'Sangy' Sangineto. (Change, Armed Gang, Firefly).

Including a New Mix by Dino Soccio from LA (for his Pleasure of Love release) and re-worked by Dutch producer Orson Welsh: giving this Italo-sound classic a more powerful touch. On the B-side is the original version of 1982 , as well as the much sought-after 'Soul Version'!

One year after its release, Quartet Series proudly presents the remix EP of Nachtbraker's successful debut album When You Find a Stranger in the Alps. A collection of remixes by some serious talent. These three producers were carefully selected by Nachtbraker because of their impeccable reputation and ability to bring something unique to the world of music.

Humble Danish maestro Central (Help, Dekmantel) flips "Flambo" into a Jori Hulkkonen'esque summer anthem with a highly addictive bassline. Preacher of wonkiness Frits Wentink (Wolf, Heist, Bobby Donny) took "LOL" and brought it some serious keys on a solid breakbeat while maintaining its jolly character. Flipping the record, Nachtbraker brings us the evolution of "Just Doing My Thang" turning it into a quirky dance floor tune whilst also showcasing his ear for detail. Up and coming talent Nemo Vachez (Forest Ill, Opia Records, Rakya) dives deep into "Horsepony" as if he's cruising the depths of a rainforest in a submarine. His surreal dub mix is the perfect final track of this fine piece of wax

Andy Hart launches a new series for Voyage with two dubbed out club tools. 'Neutron Capture' is a chuggy acid number with crisp drum programming, glitched out synths and a weighty 303 line.
On the flip 'LFTR' offers up a hypnotic roller complete with reverberating stabs, crunchy hits and expansive textures.
If this is a sign of things to come for Hart's new outlet expect a string of club ready, dancefloor orientated cuts from Australia's golden boy.

The latest single taken from No Fantasy Required, "Blondes Have More Fun" exemplifies Tiga's knack for deceptively deep songwriting and lush production. It is accompanied by a trio of remixers from contemporary electronica royalty: prolific Swedish producer on-the-rise on part 1 Jonas Rathsman, Running Back boss Gerd Janson and and international house and techno breakout du jour, The Black Madonna on part 2.

Throughout the ‘REFRACTIONS’ EP, Close Counters further signify their skills in blending house, soul, funk and broken beat and to create their own blend of insatiable and infectious grooves through a polished comb-i nation of electronic and organic instrumentation. The duo harness the spirit and energy of the Melbourne soul scene and raise it to new levels in the four polished, dance-floor-ready tunes in REFRACTIONS.

‘The songs were written over the last couple of years following our move from Hobart to Melbourne and was made possible with the help of a number of collaborators, including our live band members Elle Shimada, Lucky Pereira, Paul Bender (Hiatus Kaiyote) on bass, and featuring vocalists Laneous and Wallace.’ – Close Counters

DJ Dan has been a pinnacle of the dance music scene in America since the early 90s and has toured around the world with the likes of Carl Cox, DJ Sneak and Pete Tong to name a few.

Dan's label imprint InStereo is played by many top DJs around the world and Dan has chosen some of his strongest releases for Vol. 3 of the Slammin Trax series.

Moods & Grooves proudly introduces Cape Town’s Tshepang Mokoko aka LoopZ The Maestro.

Raised in a musical family, he was exposed to several genres of music including jazz, soulful house, hip hop, and deep house. A temporary move to Johannesburg focused his lens on deep house as it was the dominant genre. Influenced by AtJazz, Black Coffee, Culoe De Song among others, he spent time in the studio developing his own sound. Positive feedback from early demos fueled his passion to pursue music full time and finally, it’s ready for release.

Shallow dreams is a musical journey through the beautiful landscapes and soundscapes of Cape Town. Each track contains a mental glimpse of the area’s natural wonders, art, and design.

The PPF are now back in full voice it seems...
It's been 15 years since their beautifully packaged series of EP's found their way into the world's best record crates
And after two recent & very well received releases on Hot Peas 'N Butter, we get four more certified floor-fillers from the vaults.
Constructed as club-ready reworks for their own sets, this pin sharp selection appears here as a one-off limited vinyl release.

A 4-way of their most wanted secret weapons for the faithful, these re-tailored & timeless classics are the sonic manifesto for preserving those good ol' Dirty Basements.

Theo roars into a fierce, uglier-than-ugly edit, with no let-up for thirteen minutes, when it crashes to a standstill: a hurtling, mesmerizing ride, multi-layered and clustered with synth washes, bleeps and alarms, galloping drums, clattering percussion.
Burnt's Shangaan variation is perforce more chilled, lithe, reverberating. The drums are crafted and fatback, with moody vocal interjections and haunting keys, chocka with dub thrills and spills, lethally spiked with bass.

VARIOUS ARTISTS - 70'S DISCO - Regular Release in 2017 - Remastered Edition, 12" Vinyl!

After A First Ep Released Earlier This Year On Folamour Imprint, Fhuo, Madcat Is Back With A Second Maxi Entitled The Doors Of Perception - That Appears As An Open Door On His Many Influences From Jazz, Funk, And Hip-hop - On Which The Parisian Producer Shows All His Groovy Touch.

The third chapter in the NómadaWhite series is here and, for this one, the Bogota-based band of brothers have decided to cross the pond in search of like-minded lovers of all things deep and dusty. That signature Hip-Hop- and Jazz-infused Nómada wobble, made in Europe this time.

Dug up from the deep end of the Polish party scene, Ugly Frankie demonstrates a particular penchant for vintage vocals and whirling woodwinds, delivering a well-rounded A-side with
'Don't Step' on warm-up duties, 'Jimmy' for peak time president and 'I Need To Dance' to round things up nicely. Let there be no mistake, Frankie sure does have a pretty side.

A true virtuoso on the keys, French miracle man Mangabey then comes in strong with 'Wooden Flowers' on the flip, dropping perhaps one of the most soulful and funky synth lines of the season. Continuing his steady streak with 'No Q' and 'Unless', it should come as no surprise that some of the man's most recent productions have been released by trusted astemakers like Apparel Music, Blaq Numbers and Toy Tonics.

BMG (Ectomorph) and Liquid Liquid's Sal P, team up on this killer 12"...! TIP
A strange collaboration finally finds its release.

It feels like someone left the light on in the studio and it all just ran itself, there had been a funky human input earlier in the day but, by a Darwinian machine-led kind of osmosis, the tracks recorded spent the wee small hours self-reducing and simplifying themselves - Marinated in music. 'I believe more in the scissors than I do in the pencil,' said Truman Capote. 'Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication,' opined Leonardo da Vinci much earlier in proceedings.

Yes, it's the space around the object, what you leave out that makes what you leave in so important. "ESG" know this. Sure they can play the game but it's the swagger of the groove and the minimal topping - like an anti-cup cake - that makes this unique New York sisterhood so appealing on 'Keep On Moving'. Sampled on TV ads, lauded by critics and swooned over on the dancefloor, ESG's post-punk took out the grunge and polished the basics.

Cut them open and 'less is more' is written all the way through. 'Keep On Moving' was released just over ten years ago to much praise (Q said it was 'even better' than 2002's much loved 'Step Off'). 'ESG' had been sparring partners for PiL and early hip hop and four years after the 'Off', they were onto something new - rhythm as core, reflective storylines about relationship management, sensuality and insanity gather around the bass fix but they're much blurrier than the incessant beats. Inadvertently they unmask techno and glitch and leave out any kind of superfluous fluff. It's hard and temple throbbing.

Turn it up. And keep moving. 'If there's one tune which sums up
ESG's enduring lust for life, it's the beautifully-judged Black Flag
early techno crossover of the closing 'Gimme A Blast'.' The Guardian 5/5 // 'This album's every percussive aspect has been honed to impart the maximum amount of pleasure.' The Observer // 'Despite their influence on younger bands (you can hear LCD Soundsystem's knobbly grooves on 'Insane'), ESG still sound like nothing else.'
- The Guardian.

Come Away With "ESG". 35-year anniversary release of the classic genre-busting debut album by the Bronx sisters ESG. The sample-friendly opus that's the inspiration for hip-hop, house and post punk. Music that falls outside of the no wave, new wave and post punk library, it's for the dance floor but it's not funk, there's no horns, no driving organ; it's the opposite of Sly And The Family Stone but no less cool and no less groovy. 'A lasting document of their unique brand of minimal funk that would influence subsequent post-punk, hip-hop, and dance music acts. Stripped down to the most basic of drumbeats and rudimentary bass lines, 'Come Away' confirms the notion that the real rhythm is what happens between the beats. - AllMusic // 'This is dub disco with a punk edge.' Paste // 'Uncut punk-funk straight off the streets of the South Bronx.' Record Collector // 'ESG are that rare thing' Guardian // 'Come Away with ESG sounds so shockingly current.' Paste // 'A musical snapshot of New York City at the beginning of the '80s.' - Allmusic.

The story began when three Stornoway Cove’s (Innes, Uilly and Boydie) met up in the house to have the craic on a Saturday night playing music with just the dog and the cat watching. After a few tunes getting thrown across the room Boydie stated muttering a few sentences. As he is a man of few words not attention was really given to him until he shouted ‘Quick, line me out!’ Not a second to spare a set of old broken headphones were cable tied to a guitar amp and out came a few cobwebs followed shortly after with a sound nobody had ever heard before.

The band play homemade songs that tell stories in a funny kind of way about the island life. It’s not for everyone but they’ve sold out Glasgow Barrowlands and 5 other dates already for their Spring 2020 tour with a second night announced for Barrowlands in November. They won BEST LIVE ACT at the Scot Trad Awards 2019!

Peat & Diesel – Light my Byre takes you on a journey to the heart of the Western Isles, where #peatlemania was born. You might have time for a brandy in the ‘Airidh’ but don’t miss your ride in Calum Dan’s Transit Van, we ain’t stopping till we lose the water.

For our 12th release we turn to local friend and rising star on the underground scene, Ray Mono. With a string of recent releases catching the ears of people like Ben Rau & Enzo Siragusa, Ray's signature groovy sound is in hot demand. For remixes we've turned to Julenn who's recent Blind Vision EP sold out in under a week. Holding up the tail Pathway boss Niko Maxen delivers a stripped back remix of Identify Crisis.

Founded by ordained bishop Larry H. Jordan and his brother-in-law Frank Tinsley in the early 1980's, Enlightment was among the first groups to fuse modern R&B production with gospel themes.

After providing the group’s ultra-rare debut album Faith Is The Key with a proper release, Nature Sounds is now making another lost classic from Enlightment available to the world. “Agape Love” was
a 1988 promo-only 12” single pressed in anticipation of a second Enlightment album, which unfortunately never came to fruition.

Previously only available in extremely limited promotional quantities, “Agape Love” has been re-pressed off the original vinyl parts and will now be hitting record shelves worldwide. “This is well-deserved reissue,” says famed DJ and record collector Kon, who calls the record “a lost gem that slipped through the cracks of obscurity.”

Smell the perfume of the Mediterranean coast with the brand new project born by the minds of Don Carlos, Cosmic Garden & Rhythm Of Paradise.

A little mystery goes a long way, but it's fair to say the appetite for unearthing those secret tunes and lost classics has rarely been stronger...
