For SIL019 Silverback Recordings welcome Lisbon born, now London based producerPhotonz with the Corroios Royalty EP - an ode to Corroios, the suburb he grew up in.

The originals on the release, Parque da Liberdade and Casa do Povo, are colorful, 707 driven workouts, high on feel and melody. As one of the frontrunners of the new Portuguese house sound Photonz has been flexing a balance between the UK and the Continent way before it became a question of ZIP codes for him, and the EP's true to this intricate signature. On the flipside, Silverback staple The Phantom reinterprets Parque da Liberdade as an old school flavoured, meditation-tinged piano jam, while London heavyweight Ikonika injects the same track with a dose of her trademark retrofuturistic funky.

Mahogani Music's Dan Shake launches his label 'Shake' with two infectious edits.

Fresh from Catz 'N Dogz own recent remixes of Disclosure, Roisin Murphy and Rufus comes their own remix album of the critically acclaimed 'Basic Colour Theory' album the Polish DJs, producers and Pets Recordings' label owners have now invited a prolific array of artists to remix a selection of the LP's signature tracks. This collection will be released digitally as well as on vinyl on 11th March 2016 The 2015 original LP combined traditional songwriting meets Catz 'N Dogz trademark infectious basslines; a natural result of extensive sonic exploration and the osmotic process of years of DJing worldwide, all the while developing a deeper understanding of what they want to deliver through their music. From more simple edit work, to entire tonal shifts, the pair's songwriting has been reassembled by an eclectic, star-studded cast of beatmakers that include Jamie Jones, Maurice Fulton, Skudge and Yotam Avni all skillfully apply curious fusions of their own unique musical roots. This is a remixer's remix compilation that succeeds in connecting the tracks musical dots into a singular musical vision. Rethought and reimagined, melodies and vocals are respectfully trimmed away In favour of new found rhythms., The remix clearly thought of as an extended method of quotation, citation and commentary with each new sound enforcing the consistency and dependability of Catz 'N Dogz original production. Across the weighty 4 tracks of warm grooves and up-tempo cuts, each remix demands attention; blissfully capturing the original's fun-based lovingness and while often delivering unlikely juxtapositions carefully avoids any artistic tangle.

GCW lovingly presents the debut album of a Mr Paxton Fettel. To cut not a particularly long story short, you're in for a real treat.
Everything stays the same is a beautifully conceived work of house music which delves in depth and diversity, tapping into the old bittersweet emotion. It's a true labour of love presented in Double LP format.Amber light burns opens the mood with subtle and refined melody, a suggestive Detroit dynamic, firing arpeggiated weaving synth work and an enigmatic outlook.
A filtered funk perpetuates on Beyond the sapphire surf, fluctuating hi hats sway in and around a circulating and pulsating low end bump... freaking bass twangs, the full nine yards delivered. When left to his own devices, utilizing real instruments along with a proper kerfuffle for a shuffle he belts out blinders. Cloud feeling really epitomises the Fettel ethic of playfulness. Blissful charm and slickness for her pleasure.
Another hanny fammer paced down slammer, Dots on the skyline displays proper musicianship placing focus on crafted drummer jams and selected keyboard gems.Future adventures provokes seemingly effortless expression from the fender rhodes, A poolside tune for poolside loons.Manifesting the most expressive intuitiveness of an evocative sample gets a lock in here. Lift off thumps and grinds itself along, mad with rich attenuation and weight of skills. Pax meets Takuya, paralleling influence and sustainability a bond brings out a mad collision. Afloat on a sea of nothing is immersed in an innermost display of passion, brilliantly smoothed over in fine fashion.Solitary returns re invites the initial heads down bruiser, going out to the lifetime chooser... Return yourself to the start why don'tcha

Ronald Burrell's reputation as deep house royalty has long been solidified throughout the years having released on many legendary labels since the late 80's including Nervous, Nu-Groove, Strictly Rhythm & many more. Working both solo and alongside his brother Rheji his output has always caught the interest and ears of dance music aficionados world-wide with a heady mixture of Gospel, Soul / R&B, Jazz, & Garage heavily informing his sound.

Surprising as it is, "It's A Boy" was never released, only ever existing as a test pressing! The 4 track EP takes in all the musical influences listed above and flips them into some seriously deep territory. Opener "Journey" is an epic jam punctuated by an 808 cowbell, beautiful pads, strings and Ronald's voice asking us to join him on a journey through our own minds. Second cut "Feelin Jazzy" picks up the pace a little, a stripped back rhythm blessed with some choice, chopped up Jazz samples and vocal stabs keeps things moving in the right direction. Over on side-B we are treated to the deepest groove of "Bedtime Story", which has all the trademarks of a classic Burrell production, soulful vocals, melodies and crisp drum programming. Closing track "The Crib" rounds things with off with a stomping church inspired organ groove, an up-lifting end to the EP.

As mentioned above, this is the very first time this underground House classic has ever been released! This record is a real collectors piece and has commanded collectors prices on-line in the past, a real rarity. It has been re-mastered and re-pressed in conjunction with Ronald Burrell from his original DAT tapes and all original label artwork has been preserved.

After a strong release by Soul In The Hole's Disco godfather Sadar Bahar, KALAKUTA SOUL RECORDS returns with a strong three tracker by the hands of West Atlantis' best kept secret Cuttlefish & Asparagus that celebrate their third release on the label. This time, the duo dedicates the A Side of this three-tracker to never ending dances with a touching vocal that goes through body and soul. On the other hand, the B Side is a sure shaker and a massive dancefloor oriented set of tracks that brings out the Boogie in every single person in the club.

SoulPhiction and The Missing Linkx combine forces again on this split 12inch on Philpot. The Missing Linkx are kickin' it off with a classic tool, bringin' some jack moves to the table while SoulPhiction on the flip dug out some reels and found this little diamond of fuzzy Psych-Disco-Dub.

Mr Trum* wakes up at his Manhattan residency a bit dizzy from his late night scotch and cigars with some right winged peers. After his classic raisin and bran breakfast, he decides to flirt with the raver community in order to win some votes for the upcoming elections. His decision seems irrevocable now, the first measure he will adopt if he gets elected is to build a wall of sound on the whole Mexican border and start a macro rave under the premise of "We are all immigrants".Inspired by this extraordinary situation, 4 producers (Hack Force One, Pau Roca, Scott Ferguson & the enigmatic 3%) reached a sonic epiphany and the second EP of Black Money Records emerged.

Grand Pianoramax is a supergroup' consisting of three strong personalities, each possessing outstanding mastery of their craft: the acute lyricism of Leo Tardin's keyboards, the immediate intimacy of Black Cracker's wild poetry and the powerful, razor-sharp and pugnacious drums of Dom Burkhalter. The virtues of this rare alloy illuminate each of their concerts, which have taken place all around the globe. Indeed, Grand Pianoramax did a 10-city tour across the USA and performed at major festivals worldwide, including Tokyo Jazz Festival, Montreux Jazz Festival, SXSW, CMJ Music Marathon in New York, Akbank Jazz Festival in Istanbul, Jazz à Vienne, and Paléo Festival in Nyon to name a few. With already four albums and two vinyls under their belt, the supergroup founded by Geneva-based pianist Leo Tardin releases their new album Soundwave' this winter, their debut collaboration with Mental Groove Records staying true to their instantly recognizable signature sound at the crossroads of post-jazz, art rock and hip-hop. Soundwave' is a new step in the ambitious artistic path of the trio. As opposed to their previous opus, this new release is characterized by a more DIY and less polished production, a better reflection of the spontaneity shining during the trio's live performances.

We're pretty excited about this one. Street Meat is the new imprint from UK producer and edit maestro Ghosts of Venice. The label's debut release comes from kings of sleaze In Flagranti.
Radiation Level is a looped out DJ tool that works it's way through funk guitar licks and rolling bass lines. Followed by the sultry and sleazy Freakin' Time. The flip side kicks off with the classic electro boogie sound of Breakin' In Space and closes out with the roller disco vibes of Switch

After 10 years away from vinyl, 3am Wax Vol.1 hails a return to 12' on the label, now in its 13th year. The EP features an all-3am regular artist cast, three making their debut on vinyl and one making a return to 12' after a 12 year gap. 3am boss Al Bradley opens the EP, while label regulars Carlo Gambino, Ben Dean and Michael Scott all return for the 12". With over 400 releases and remixes between the artists, the EP showcases in-house talent from the label - the emphasis on quality rather than names. Ranging from Berlin-influenced deepness through to raw analog acid house, the EP has been doing damage at label gigs throughout 2015 including Berlin, Ibiza, Copenhagen, New York, London & label-home Leeds, with plaudits and support also coming in from a wide range of DJs from the promo.

After the success of the Henry Wu & Chaos in the CBD releases, Rhythm Section International present their 9th offering, from Mancunian newcomer 'Contours'.
'Technician' is a percussion led rhythmic exploration, spanning 6 tracks which take in down-tempo grooves to up-beat workouts, all held together by a smooth, lucid sonic palette and arresting, unorthodox live percussive elements.
Already an accomplished drummer and percussionist, Contours manages to combine driving rhythm, lush textures and hypnotic melodies to create a sound that feels very much at home as part of the Rhythm Section imprint, while simultaneously pushing it forward into new, undiscovered territory. One for the Heads, one for the Dancers, one for the warm up, one for the afterparty.

Bushwick 90210, the second 12" release from William Roy's 99¢ Dreams imprint, is an homage to the revered New York graffiti artists of Bushwick's bygone era, and a love letter to the insular and dysfunctional contemporary Myrtle Avenue music scene.

Conor's an extremely influential, yet somewhat mysterious figure in SF's disco and house underground. It's known that he has an enviable collection of disco on wax, that he's not afraid to use it, yet no one seems to know if he sleeps, or where his bed is, or if perhaps he just lies down among record crates with one eye open, scanning his vinyl collection....
In any case, the guy knows what he's doing. Along with SF's Solar, he's booked, hosted, and played alongside a long list of the world's best underground electronic, house, and disco artists at his party series No Way Back, and his taste and talent for curating artists, and selecting records, is widely acknowledged to be some of the best around.

Here comes the new cross-over project from the master of french deep house, mr Franck Roger! Let's go back to the roots of House with him, and when I say House, I mean real, true, phat old school House that comes right from the soul! Franck as come up with his most sophisticated work ever, but you'll be suprised because it's completely spontaneus and elaborated at the same time.

Jazz & Milk turns TEN! To celebrate a decade full of music the Munich based label offers a limited vinyl 12" edition which comes in a hand-drawn and numbered sleeve - 300 copies available only! Since 2005 Jazz & Milk offers an experimental playground for international artists. On Ten Years of Jazz & Milk four exclusive tracks are brought to you by the likes of Sam Irl, Mieux, Todd Simon & The Angel City All Star Brass Band and label founder Dusty.

On the A-side label artist Sam Irl brings Dub culture onto electronic dance floors. Dreams is a forward driven introspective dub track built around a heavy steppas-influenced rhythm and deep bassline. Expect his full-length solo debut album to released later this year on Jazz & Milk!

Mieux is an upcoming duo from Vienna, famous for their lively Boiler Room performance last year or rather recently their latest album "Are You Happy", which was heavily featured by the likes of Gilles Peterson, testpressing.org, billboard.com and many more. With Technotrap they contribute a playful and dreamy uptempo tune that cleverly balances a straight-forward driven beat with harmonic and repetitive melodic figures.

Label head Dusty joins the EP with a slow-house MPC jam called Heavy Lights. After a dreamy intro the track soon fades into a hypnotic direction based on percussive vibes, big bottom samples and heavy hitting snares.

Todd Simon's arrangement, blending multiple versions of a classic for his 21-piece ensemble featuring himself on Flügelhorn and Alan Lightner on Steel Drums. Recorded live to tape in an 80 year-old studio located in the heart of Hollywood.

Thanks to each and everyone for supporting Jazz & Milk and vinyl music culture throughout the years!

Atjazz Record Company is pleased to welcome back prolific artist and dapper gent Fred Everything. From Canada to the UK, this skillful and ever-present producer brings over 20 years of talent and experience to bear on this exciting new release.
We delve into the offering firstly with the titular track: O. A soft and muted start slowly builds up into a fizzy melodic vibe that is undercut with a tasty bass riff. As the track drives on, the harmonies continue to build until they crescendo with a dreamy high-end hook juxtaposed with stippled sour characters.
Then Mr ARCo. himself, Atjazz, enters the fray with the Galaxy Aart Remix. Staccato rhythms and active bass notes combine with engaging pops of synth to further illustrate Atjazz's mastering of his craft. We follow this with Her, a meaty beats and bass orgy that effortlessly builds into a shimmering and crystalline cut. This track perfectly showcases Fred's commitment to quality legitimate music and you will not be disappointed!
We conclude with the shorter and sharper Devil In The Dub remix where only the lightest of tweaks and touches is applied, but this brings a fresh and compelling sound to an already impressive track.

Side A

"4 U (kick back mix)"
Warm and bouncy Emax samples with screwed G lyrics - Laid back evolution of drums - unexpected break announced by air raid siren and followed with euphoric disco theme.

Side B
dedicated to late night club session.

Station Wave (club mix)'
Heavy nonchalant slap bass - progression of house stabs and altered drums - final stage with infected Juno voice.

Sneakers 91' (intuitive mix)'
Efficient wooden piano bass line - 90s digital horny horns - fatal female beat-box voices.

The Nang crew are back with their yearly round up of all that is spiffing here at Nang towers... Volume 7 of the Array is here. 7 years... wow we are getting old.

Anyhow onto the tunes and a step back to the 80s with (the amazingly named) Hot Hot Hawk and their 80s synth and guitar micro-epic "Atlanta Skyline". Next we head straight for a slice of catchy-vocal disco house from those talented Italians Irregular Disco Workers with "Yesterday". It's a stomper. Talking of vocal house stompers, next up is an exclusive (to this comp) mix from Russian remixer wonder-crew Kim and Buran. They take "Downtown Girl" from the Mexican based Future Feelings to a whole heap of new and interestingly funky places.

Nang head honcho is up next with one of his rare (and over the top) musical excursions "Ponies It's the Flowertruck". Don't ask about the title, but groove wise we angling toward the 80s with "lexicon of love" type orchestra arrangement and slidey-moog-bass overtures. Karaman gets disco-house funky next with "My Touch" before West Coast based Aimes takes things up a dancefloor notch or two with his wonky-funk groover "Trepadado".

No Nang compilation is complete without some space or sci-fi references in the mix somewhere..., and "Taking Control" from Moskva Kassiopeya does just that. Space -Disco - Rock..., we have lift off. Nanka then slows the pace down a tad with Blue Azure on their foreboding and melodic song. Bestinspace keep the space theme flowing with their bleepy-sci-fi Nu Disco. Just a touch of 80s power vocal in there too...,.

UK based Martin Davis keeps the big room disco house fires burning next with "Inflation" as does Italian Nang newcomer Romain Bezzina with his big-time swinging disco epic "Late Night Dance". Russian producer Hemul teams up with Sportloto on the remix for the electronic funk workout "Supernova" just before handing over to Nang long-time collaborator and all-round DJ whirlwind, Rayko. His stabby synth and catchy guitar from brand new track "Crazy" being a great starting point for future Nang material.

We round things off with the Stone Funk collective take on the summer sound scape "Beach Coma" from the Korvids (another exclusive to this comp) and Kazakhstan newcomers Wawawiwas with their thoughtful, melancholic synthfest "Sea Of Dispair". Sportloto makes another appearance with his slightly jazzy, delightfully quirky vibraphone & flute fest "Ruines". We leave things big, dancefloor and chunky with "Begin" from Russian producer Folano.

As the D EDGE label clocks up release number 24, it turns to the Phil Hinter Ensemble for a fantastic three track package that is lled with fresh house vibes. Phil Hinter Ensemble is a joint project by Phil's main pillars Philogresz and German Simon Hinter. They have ties with labels like their own Phil, Love Unlimited Vibes and of course D-EDGE.  Previous EPs have gone down well around the world and Simon Hinter's smart grooves and sample based ll-ins blends with the wombastic bass and shivering synth lines of Philogresz perfectly. Up rst is 'The Owl,' a squelchy, synthetic house track with lively drums and chords and magical trumpets all making for a party starting track. It is perfectly arranged and expertly musical, unlike much of today's plastic and sample heavy sounds.  'In The Air' then gets even more playful with glossy synth stabs, rumbling bass and diva vocals all bouncing along in a charismatic style that is full of colour. 'Struggle' then gets intimate and nal with scurrying little percussive sounds, burst of afro vocal, down low sine waves and icy snares all making for a perfectly seductive minimal techno brew.

Deepblak's Chief Connoisseur presents his first full-length & further grows his Afro-inflected house vibe into spiky new directions featuring compelling vocals of Khalil Anthony and some assistance from Afrikan Sciences.

Multi artist comp covering disco, slomo house and beatdown, funk & soul, reggae. Versatility in your crate on one record. Vinyl only DJ promo. Hand stamped natural chipboard jackets.

Defunct San Francisco Free Jazz-Free Punk band LIBERTAS finds release on La Mission.
Growing up in San Francisco, one of the most important punk bands in the tight-knit Mission scene was 50 MILLION. When Beaner discovered 50 Million Member Wade 'Storey' Driver's new Free Jazz-Free Punk project LIBERTAS, he had to release their 'Song For The End Of The World'.

Remixes by MAX GRAEF (in his REVEREND G guise), KENNETH SCOTT, and J CHOIRBOY & BEANER fill out the project. The remixes span the gamut.
Max's weirdo spacelord deep house remix builds to several crescendos, continuing his meteoric rise. Kenneth's tongue in cheek nod to 90s house a la Dajae also mixes in modern elements present in his work on labels like Circus Company.

Lastly, the collaboration between La Mission core members J Choirboy & Beaner has a subdued yet big Shed light sound. Something for everyone.

As with past releases in the ongoing kunst/WORK series, this one includes a Magazine (40+ pages, Performance Ticket (for the third performance related to the record and magazine) and defaced Zimbabwean Currency (seen below). All these things tying together the theme of 'Divesting from Capital/Against Austerity/Exposing the false Scarcity Economy'

Essential 4 track EP of deep disco and summer soul, boogie house and steady groovin' funk edits. All tracks are given Magnetic Soul's expert disco dub treatment focusing on grooves, added presence and beefed up bottom end for a solid dance floor feel.

The A side enters the spacious tropical House vibes of Summer Love and the delightful slow building soul strings and vocal of Universal Love. The B side hits first with some low slung, raw funk grooves with added brass stabs and leaves us on psychedelic soul funk, à la Gil Scott of Cold Outside.

Support from: Rahaan, Mark 7, LTJ, Vinyl Addicted, Copycat, Yam Who, 80s Child, Beaten Space Probe, Jay Ru & Sad Ghost...
