Pittsburgh Track Authority is back. After a five year hiatus from releasing music--during which time PTA maintained focus on expanding the catalog of their labels Pittsburgh Tracks, Love What You Feel, Machine Age Records, and Sleeve -- Preslav and Adam are back with a rejuvenated outlook on music and a renewed sense of purpose. The new album titled PA System is a collection of house and techno written to serve as a document of the past 18 months. As always with PTA, friends near and far, old and new, were a part of the writing process and the album includes collaborations with C. Scott, Santiago Salazar, Stuart Bogie, Nic Offer, Samurai Velvet, John Hall, and Kenny Peagler.

Rising Spanish talent Paul Rudder launches his new label RDDR with the four-track EP ’Chromatic’. The EP explores Paul’s more deep, groovy and dub sides of his music, and it comes with two collabs with his long-time friend Jay Nortown. Vinyl-only release, pre-orders start on the 16th of July.

With the second record for Misfit Melodies and the fourth for the Running Back universe, Robert Dietz solidifies and hones his very own sound. Heartfelt and emotive, a slice of lovers acid works as the prelude to an EP of IDM patterns, classic house tropes and something that is as much fun as it is funky. “Great Hormones at Bed Time” owes the same amount of money to Detroit as it does to Frankfurt am Main. Definitely no lullabies here.

‘Débuts’ is France-via-Brussels duo, Nikitch & Kuna Maze’s aka Nicolas Morant & Edouard Gilbert first full length album. Building on their collaborative EP “Mush”, ‘Débuts’ continues to explore the melting point between jazz and club culture, interspersed with the signature sounds of broken beat, Chicago footwork, UK garage, Detroit house, and underpinned by their road-tested new live format.

‘Débuts’ see’s the band push their musical and creative development even further, a result of touring extensively around Europe with a live drummer, from high-brow jazz festivals to sweaty basement clubs. “We would be lying if we said our gig experience didn’t influence us on this record” Edouard explains. “We discovered new aspects to songs such as “Bruk” and managed to push forward the energy side of the music from the rawness of the live shows. This energy empowered to produce and compose new material in the same vein”.

This all happened on Rental Street now undergoing the City of Chicago's now and new DJ international Street. With over 400 recordings done at DJ International and Underground Studios, most of Chicago's legendary DJ's were there. For those who were able to be there knew that this was the basis on everybody's mythology of house music . The full story told coming soon. Fresh from releasing 'Body Electric' EP on Running Back in July, Deetron returns with a new compilation; presenting Photon Remixes. Four stellar re-imaginings of Deetron's iconic track from Carl Cox and Gerd Janson, the new release on Character Records is due out on the 25th October.

Originally out back in October 2014 on the same label, the track Photon on Deetron's Theory Of Light EP was a breakout hit, with avid support from both Cox and Janson, this remix package is a celebration of years of friendship and support.

Gerd Janson delivers three remixes, twisting the essential elements of Photon, he manages to create playful and varied takes.

Carl Cox ups the tempo on his remix, piecing together a dance floor workout full of punchy drums and broken keys.

1nce Again is back again, this is the first of two 12's containing one of our absolute favourite tracks from prolific producer Ken Duke aka DJ Duke.

Closer was orginally released back in 1994 on Duke's Power Music Records and the amazing Klubb Kidz mixes quickly found it's way into many DJs record bags, including label boss Mad Mats who rates the 'Flava Dub' as one of his favourite deep house cuts of all time.
If u ever heard Mats spinning a house set chances are big you've heard this mix blasted loud!

First up for remixes duties this time is Mark Seven, Parkway/Parkwest label owner, a true DJs DJ, a passionate music lover and record collector extrodinare.
The So Close Mix of Closer is deep house at it's finest, an homage to the classic Prescription sound keeping it ultimately atmospheric. The Stalker mix continues on the same vibe yet develops into something more meaty and pumping during its course.

Together with the original 'Klubb Kidz Flava Dub' and the Mark Seven mixes this release got everything a true deep house head needs.
