Digital Traffik is back with its third release of 2016. This last vinyl of this year is completing the serie dedicated of the "10 years label birthday " celebration. Also on this Ep four new artists are on board : Marco Effe, Alexandar Ivkovic, Neverdogs and CLiVe. 'Weird Tales' is the Marco Effe track, an incredible artist of Digital Traffik family and founder of his own "Impress" party on Watergate Berlin. Kick and bass lines are big, the melodies are infectious and techno just keeps on giving... simply amazing! Alexandar Ivkovic presents 'NBDG' : in this track merge is signature techno-detroit sound into something that still contains stacks of class and character. Neverdogs directly from Music On World Tour returns in Digital Traffik family after two years. Throughout their track "State Of Blind" there is a sense of tension that is created through the eerie pads and synths combining to create different rhythms to keep the listener on their toes. The Collective Rhythm Network (Hamilton, Canada), is a weekly radio show that focuses on underground dance music past and present. This EP was produced in celebration of the radio show's 20th Anniversary, featuring tracks by Detroit's Rick Wilhite, Ron Allen and Terrence Parker !

Rick The Godson' Wilhite is a Detroit born producer/label owner/record store owner/DJ and founding member of Detroit's 3 Chairs. Rick also releases music under his Vibes New & Rare Music label. For this release Rick has provided us with a brand-new track entitled Mind Control' - a thumping late night dance floor stomper
reminiscent of early 3 Chairs, that is sure to keep the crowd jumping!

Ron Allen is a Toronto based JUNO Nominated music producer/songwriter/DJ and founder of legendary dance music label Strobe Records that was instrumental in developing the house and techno genres in Canada in the early 90's. Whispers' by The R.A.S.E. (Ron Allen Sound Experience), features melodic keys, dreamy vocals and a groovy, head-nod inducing bassline that sounds just as fresh now as it did when it was originally released in 1994.

Terrence Parker ( TP') was born and raised in Detroit and has become legendary for his skillful turntablism style of playing House Music. Terrence has released more than 100 recordings on his Intangible Records & Soundworks label and various other international record labels. With lush keys, and soaring vocals, Embrace (The Original Melody Vibe)' is one of the deeper cuts in the Intangible Records & Soundworks catalogue.

Following his first ep for Accidental Jnr in the summer Bambooman is now back with something entirely different. The downtempo experimental designs of the 'Feel EP' give way to his latest offering 'Shudder'. Available on 12' and digital the 4 tracks of Shudder weave through a club music tapestry like a chainsaw through custard. The opening and title track is hard to describe, a mix of off kilter synth stabs and hammering snare that routes you to the floor - it's one of those tracks to whip out of your bag to remind the crowd they have no idea what is coming next. Track 2 'Grasp' with a blissful Detroit groove under deep rich melting chords is a perfect blend of early funk house style and super crisp new production.Side B opens with 'M1' a lazy floor track with washes of bells, static and detuned synth above a bed of solid kick and shuffling bass. Finally 'Kyrian' closes proceedings, another club friendly slice (despite being in a 7/8 time signature), the track could have led the EP in its own right but feels like the perfect bookend with its shifting almost garage like 2-step feel and glancing vocal hook.Bambooman wields refined live recordings, warm exquisite melodies and a silvery vocal into the track's rich musical fabric. It's hard to suppress the emotions with this one' - Boiler Room on 'Feel EP'

Franck Roger reunites with vocal powerhouse Mandel Turner for one of the year's most infectious tracks, 'Through The Motions'. The product of a melting pot of inspirations, 'Through The Motions' features a hilarious spoken-word sample, Mandel's ultra smooth vocal contribution and louche, hypnotic atmosphere underpinned by a laid back BPM.Franck and Mandel first got together on one of last year's dancefloor smashes, the superlative 'After All'. The twosome found common ground through their love of eighties and nineties New York musical culture. Mandel being one of the fortunate few to have spent time at Larry Levan's Paradise Garage, where the magic really happened week in, week out for over a decade between the mid- seventies and mid-eighties. Franck and Mandel formed a strong friendship and decided to continue their working relationship by reuniting for 'Through The Motions'.Franck concocted the track's continuous linear beat after finding inspiration in one of his favourite tracks, the cult classic 'Make Me Dance (Hard For The DJ) by Nu Groove legend Basil Hardhaus. Later, during their studio sessions, Franck and Mandel came up with the hook This time derived from a cult track from the nineties New Jersey scene, 'Goin' Through The Motions' by Keisha Jenkins and produced by New York duo, Blaze. Add to that a side-splitting vocal sample and 'Through The Motions' was born.Just like 'After All', 'Through The Motions' is proof that the partnership between Franck Roger and Mandel Turner is one that can Produce Instant classics. Their joint musical heritage combined with a variety of influences, from both house and many other genres, Giving to high Quality contemporary electronic music.

When WPH boss Red D heard 'Toriton' being played by Ken Ishii during a WPH radio takeover on Belgium's Studio Brussel radio station he ran to the booth and knew this track had WPH written all over it. Not abiding to any trends, just devastatingly beautiful house music.

Some licence negotiations and months later Satoshi Fumi agreed and made 'Lalalalaland', a brand new track to go along with 'Toriton' and make up this E.P.

The title track has that unmistakable Detroit feel that takes you from melancholy to euphoria and back, while 'Lalalalaland' has been described by people hearing it in Red D's sets this summer as 'Japanese sunset trance' or 'end of the night eyes closed hands in the air stuff'.

Whatever the words, it's the music that counts and Satoshi Fumi takes his place among the WPH family in style!

Orlando Voorn, the artist:
He who started in the late 80's as a successful DMC DJ in The Netherlands, mixing electro and hip-hop tracks, established thenafter an historic musical connection between Amsterdam and Detroit. Orlando Voorn's unique signature of early productions, analog tweaks, funky beats and cosmic chords, quickly attracted the attention of the like of Juan Atkins and Kevin Saunderson, for which he produced game changing classic tracks like "Game One (as Infiniti)" and "Fix (as Flash)" in the early 90's only to continue to do so until today on numerous labels (R&S, Fragile, Nightvision...) and under various aliases (Playboy, Ghetto Brothers, Format...).
