What started with an anonymous CD handed out in a dark club to Serafin, found its way via Marcus Worgull to a mesmerized and raving Running Back office.

Four cuts that goes from the sexy garage touch of Rhythm&Soul's Say U Will, the amazingly organic funk touch of What I Dreamt from the parisien golden boy S3A to the aggressive naughty groove of the Cecil or the bizarre uptempo beats of hidden treasure from Paris, the new comer, Adepte.

Hitting a particularly fertile patch with his music, A Sagittariun continues to ride the night skies with some heavy doses of cosmically sprinkled techno and kinetic electronica. 'Aruba (Overhead Mix)' is a seductive jam of Nuyorican (tech) soul, cloaked in warm synths with a breathy, human quality and deft melodies to ensure a smooth takeoff for the passengers. Lead cut on the vinyl is 'The Code Breaker', channeling some enchanting techno moods and themes on a no gimmicks, no cheap thrills, head & foot stomper, whilst 'Triangulum' prefers a mechanical rhythm of robotic tech funk, syrupy melodies and acidic motifs to deliver a dance in outer space.

Nach Marco returns to Ovum to kick off 2015! Nach Marco returns to ovum with Warm Trax Vol 1. Nacho debuted on Ovum with his 2013 release 'Ghosts' EP. The EP received critical acclaim and found it way into the box of a diverse group of DJ. One of the most acclaimed DJ's and producers from Spain, Nacho's history is evident in his productions. He is as comfortable making a peak time acid track to making deep house tracks that harken to productions of Mr Fingers. Nacho is clearly influenced by the early sound of Chicago house and acid house and delivers a modern twist on what is a timeless sound. It is one thing to make music that is influenced by the past, it is another to do it tastefully and properly. Nacho Marco achieves this! Nacho's diversity is on perfect display on Warm Trax Vol 1. The lead track 'On Fire' is classic acid house at its finest. The track builds and builds around a twisted acid line and snapping percussion, which eventually find its way to incredible lushness. A perfect peak time track that should drive the crowd wild. For the B side, Nacho dives into his deep side. This is classic deep house in its purest form. The Parisian label Flyance Records newly set up by Janeret, Ka One & St-Sene comes back with their second releases "Cycles Vol.2".
As the first one, Cycles vol.2 is a various with 4 tracks focus on the deeper side of house and techno.

Nyra returns to Never Learnt with the follow up to his 'Best Of' EP which saw huge support at the wax only imprint's debut 12".

To round off their birthday in style Craig and Graeme have asked some of the label's main acts and strongest supporters to contribute a track for a new compilation. Artists including jozif, Ryan Crosson, Uner, Gary Beck, Of Norway, and Simon Garcia all feature in the collection that Silicone Soul present as a snapshot of the future sound and musical vision of Darkroom Dubs.

Patrice Scott and Chris Mitchell are back at it under their Modular One moniker. Segue One sees the duo pushing forward on their thematic journey into deep, interstellar techno. Adding to the fire, UK deep techno maestro, Aubrey blesses the EP with a remix crafted in his signature textural style.

This is the debut track from a young London based producer, inspired after a particularly intense Kerri Chandler set.
He explains the origins of this track in his own words:
"I actually went to the Kerri Chandler night a while ago at Plan B, where he played all night and the atmosphere in there was incredible. Needless to say, he utterly smashed it. I was coming home from work on the train a few days later and literally managed to get the main riff down in about 40 minutes and finished it off that weekend. It was a really quick track to write, probably about 6 hours in total but I guess I was super inspired."
Paul Woolford played the track on Space Terrace during the summer and it was the final house track played at We Love Sundays this season.

After featuring on the One Records VA released earlier this year with 'Besides', young Frenchmen Yamen & EDA are back on board the label with 'Planet Brooklyn'. The release features two seductively deep solid club tracks with one special remix coming from dream team Shaun Reeves, Jay Haze and Bill Patrick and another from label head Subb-an.
Always on the hunt to recruit and push new talent, Subb-an and Adam Shelton have been quick to snap up Yamen & EDA to be part of the One Records crew, who will also be making their debut at Adam and Subb-an's famous Below party in Birmingham later this year. While only in the first stages of their career there is no doubt this talented duo are on their way to stardom with previous releases on Safari Numerique, Earlydub and their own Unpleased Records with more on the way.
Shaun Reeves is no stranger to the label after his remix of Subb-an's 'Soul Skool' appeared on one of the first releases. Combining forces for the first time, Shaun Reeves, Jay Haze and Bill Patrick remix 'Planet Brooklyn'. Three of the biggest names in the business, One Records are proud to have them on board for this rare collaboration.
Subb-an has really shot into the limelight in the last few years with huge releases on labels such as Visionquest, Crosstown Rebels and Spectral Sound. His hectic touring schedule has seen him travel the globe as part of the 10 Years Of Crosstown World Tour and with gigs lined up this year at the likes of Panorama Bar and DC10 and a forthcoming album, Subb-an is heading for superstar heights.

Glenn Astro is the groove wizard. His new four-track-EP TEARZ is the travelogue of an expedition through the misty jungles of Chicago House, UK underground and Future Sounds of Paris.

Those who know his style will quickly be familiar with Glenn Astro ´s heavily syncopated and fluffy takes on contemporary House Music. With a timeless concinnity his tracks float over the dancefloor like fleecy clouds on a balmy summer morning.
Together - the very first track on this EP, sets things clear within the first few bars: Welcome to the wonderful world of Glenn Astro! A funky bassline, a well-hung synth and beats from another world are woven together to a deephouse-monster that grabs you after seconds and binds you to the dancefloor 'till the end of time.
Back to how it was, with its massive Wobble-Bass, raises the tempo while shuffling its way along the deep paths of string-loaded UK-groove history - straight into a clear blue 2013-acid-heaven. The title track Tearz, same as all tracks on this EP - is barely scratching the 5-minute mark. Tearz takes the listener on a dirty sashay deep south, where the claps are still handmade, the drums crisp and an irresistible hook-line cries for endless repetition. Everlasting afterhour-happiness.
Get Up, the final chapter of this stunning EP, gives you a ride back to good old Chicago with its reminiscence to - house as a feeling'. In the lead-up to the release of 'Motion Sickness' on December 3rd, Domino will put out a three-part 12' vinyl series with each record featuring two highlights from the remix compilation. These releases will be staggered throughout November in December, the first of which is to be released on November 19th. Full details can be found below.
Bringing together some of the most respected names in dance music with the key players in the Domino roster; the compilation celebrates dance and electronic music. In this series these incredible interpretations will only be available in the format classically associated with the genre: vinyl.
The tracks featuring in the series include the Grammy Award-nominated Carl Craig remix of Junior Boys' 'Like a Child', Mike Simonetti's re-working of Blood Orange's 'Champagne Coast', the fluid funk of DFA's remix of Clinic's 'Tomorrow' and Joy Orbison's beautifully twisted and intricate take on 'Love Cry' by Four Tet.

Bring U Up originally appeared on Roman's Blackmale label in 1995 as a rumbling slice of New Jersey garage complete with gospel samples and Romanthony collaborator The Trojan Horse. It was a bit of a cult favourite with underground heads like DJ Deep. It wasn't until Roman completely re-produced and re-sang the song in 2000 that it fully took on anthem status. Out went the heavy kicks and hypnotic moods and in came James Brown horn stabs and a live beat that sounded like Bernard Purdie had joined him for the session (the drums were actually provided by Roman himself). The result was an instant club hit with everyone from Pete Tong to Francois Kevorkian that reached (a very respectable 74) in the UK national charts.
On this 12' PBR Streetgang deliver a wonderfully deep modern house groove, Toby Tobias delivers 2 mixes straight out of the 90s basement and Glaswegian wunderkind Barrientos offers a kind of sun-kissed Gypsy Woman style re-invention.

Prime Numbers are back with the next in their compiled EP series, once again selecting new tracks from producers who inspire & represent the sound of the label. This time it's a diverse outing, dwelling on the dubbier, more subtle side of things.

The release starts with Modini, Following on from their excellent Turk EP for Dixon Basement Jams here they flip the script.'Attack Warning' fuses new wave & nu-beat styles with an almost ZTT-like sensibility. It's big, bold & direct with chopped vocal samples, an acidic bottom line & rock hard snares.

Nick Sinna returns to the label with 'Come Again', a brooding piece with a distinctly UK feel. Various drum sounds are dextrously melded into a restrained afro tinged rhythmic workout.
Luke Hess brings his own take to the track stripping back & tightening the elements whilst washing it in a Detroit solution for a more intense overall feel.

Finally Hakim Murphy drops 'Synth Work'. Fantastically understated & ethereal the track draws you in with padded kicks, floating bleeps & squelched bass.

Ricardo has the potential to become a real rockstar in the electronic bizness. Living the vida loca between night life and bedroom producing. THE MESSAGE EP is his debut. Inspired by 90ies UK Garage, Voguing, New York (where he has spent some time), Marshall Jefferson, Kevin Saunderson, ethnic minorities and Soulmusic. Deep, funky, great.
