Official remastered reissue of the italo-disco classic song: Gimme Love, a tribute for the legendary Cellophane Club in Rimini active during 80s. This limited edition release contains the original long version on the A side plus the "Italian Version" on the B side.

JOHN TEJADA'S 'The Predicting Machine' (KOMPAKT CD 102 / KOMPAKT 267) hits the shelves on September 10th, and his second full-length for Kompakt after highly acclaimed 'Parabolas' (KOMPAKT CD 93 / KOMPAKT 234) will also feature album opener ORBITER, a glistening highlight and stand-out track more than deserving of a solo strut down the red carpet. That's where mad scientists SIMIAN MOBILE DISCO enter the picture, procuring just the right amount of flash with not one, but two expertly crafted remixes.

From party people with shoulder pads, big hair, white Rolls-Royces, panama hats, the Fragrant Harbour that is Hong Kong, had a very unique Hotel Clubbing scene before places like DD's, Canton Disco and Hot Gossip opened their doors.

After the high-in-demand digital release of the "Extinct Melodies From The Canto Club" we've had a lot of requests for more cantonese edits since features on Stamp The Wax and big names such as Blessed Madonna, Nd_baumecker, Crazy P, Ben UFO, Tim Sweeney and more have dropped these in their DJ sets.
So we decided to start a series called "Canto Club House" which will be dedicated to cantonese edits. And what better way to start this series with the two canto head diggers raised in Hong Kong: MH and RFX.

Club-friendly and cheese is what this release is all about.

It’s that time of the year again: we’re finishing our 6th year of Heist Recordings with our annual potpourri of remixes with this
year’s artists on ‘The Round up part VI’. This year, we’ve got a few really cool newcomers on the label like Demuir, Perdu and
Makèz, as well as label mainstays Fouk and yours truly delivering a great collection of remixes.

The EP starts off with label heads Detroit Swindle giving their high-energy take on Fouk’s ‘Need my Space’. They’ve chosen for
a stabby club version of the more introverted original, with different layers of synths building up alongside a pumping drum track
and a punchy Moog bassline. Check the break for a nice dreamy broken beat section before the track comes back into full
dancefloor madness.

Makèz have only just released their well-received debut EP and now they’re flanking Detroit Swindle on the A-side with their
remix of Perdu’s hit ‘Sacramento’. They replace the broken beat vibe of the original and instead go for a 4x4 track with a driving
bassline, warm pads and subtle placement of Perdu’s original elements.

On the B-side, we have Fouk reinterpreting Demuir’s take on Detroit Techno with their remix of ‘3nity returneth’. Their version is
a tom-heavy high-energy club track with a strong nod to the past, whilst still keeping that strong Fouk signature intact. They
mangle the vocal sample in a drunk and twisted break before setting the track back on fire with an extra acid line for good
measure.

The B2 goes to Perdu’s dreamy slow burning remix of Detroit Swindle’s classic house bomb ‘Music for clubs’. His version takes
the tempo down and dials the dreamy level up a notch. A mellow but punchy acid line and worldly synth hits give this remix it’s
cool twist and it’s a great showcase of Perdu’s view on the broad world of house music.

This year’s Round up finishes with Demuir’s trippy ‘playboy edit’ of ‘Random Visits’ by Makèz. He takes the vocal sample and
layers it behind a haunting string, dreamy keys and a steady groove. It’s got a funky vibe where Demuir’s knack for a good
groove fits perfectly with the fresh original.

The Round up is a special moment for us each year and we’re excited to share these reinterpretations of another year’s worth of
house from the world of Heist Recordings with you.

Yours Sincerely, Lars & Maarten.

Manchester based Coral City Records hit the ground running at 100mph here on their debut release providing four, cool, killer tracks, that are guaranteed to get your feet moving and your booty shaking.

Sleeping giants N&W return after a long hiatus with their vintage, classic sound. You'll catch them taking a nod to the retro Italo Disco sound and hear clear influences from some of the favourite Classic French House superstars of years gone by. Expect cosmic chord progressions, cool guitar licks and beautiful bass.

Krystal Klear presents Cyclia One! Informed by Jim Henson’s psychedelic and cinematic nightclub fantasy of the late 1960’s, which was supposed to be the entertainment of the future and the theatre of the year 2000, the man who brought you „Neutron Dance“ also dives deeper into his own universe. Starting with „Entre Nous“(that also is keeping the tradition of debuts in Gerd Janson Boiler Room videos) and following the uplifting piano path, while applying the thumbscrews of happiness, it’s easy to imagine bursting oversized lava lamps. The despair of turtleneck existentialism on the other hand, which was still of importance in Jim Henson’s heyday, penetrates every fibre of „Autobahn“- disoriented drivers included. „I’ll Be There When You Need Me“is the cloud with the silver lining that renders every philosophical debate useless: life is great! Nothing less could be said about „Gambino “: mid tempo beatnik boogie. Even though Henson’s vision never became a reality, Cyclia One would probably make him happy. And if not, we can still dance, if we want to.

Covering various classics is not uncommon in Italo Disco. Hardly a song that has not been pressed through the synth mill and spit out again with its own charm.

This is also the case with the premiere release from the label “Mattoni Pazzi” with the “Monomax Band”: As the song title already reveals, you will find a reference to the Led Zeppelin classic on side A. In full 80’s Italo fashion, this version is peppered with synth riffs, glittering arpeggios, a thundering DX-7 bassline and almost gothic-tinged vocals.

Side B is a remake of the remake and drifts off into the cosmic at a much higher tempo. A hypnotic repetitive bassline is underpinned with loving, oriental-inspired, lead melodies and vibrating soundscapes.

Shara music emerges with a concept that glitters by love for a very special woman named Sara. The producer of Barcelona Owen Ezard presents his new record label, Shara Music, and it starts nothing more , nothing less with this great piece of EP signed by the mexico-Italian couple Mijo & Rodion. A futuristic sound ep charged with hints Techno Latin and classical Italo influence also with the remixes included of "Chapo Guzman" and our great Damon Jee. Exceptional beginning for this label and where in addition They have prepared for us a lot of amazing references that will see the light as the year progresses. First reference Shara Music... Schatzi 007 is spun, not stirred, with five special-ops disco Bond boogies dug up from the Schatzi R&D department reserves.

"Some men just don't like to be driven" but we all like to dance...

Saint Wax's head honcho Gledd delivers a range of tracks that perfectly represent his musical influences mixing soul and funk samples with house beats.
"Behind a Cloud" is a tangle of summer end vibes and solid housey grooves, while " Want Somebody " and "I Hold You" burn the dancefloor with Gospel vocals and Funky flavour rhythms.
"Sweet Love" complete the EP with some deep loops and a vibrant voice that lead a sexy disco affair!

South Street delve into the The Sound Of Detroit from one of its unsung heroes, reissuing Amp Fiddler's 'Motor City Booty' LP on suitably swanky purple and pink vinyl respectively. Coming straight off the D Funk assembly line, it's a full on dance floor affair from Motown to P-Funk, Techno and Neo Soul.

This 12 track album produced by Amp Fiddler & Yam Who? includes the massive 'Soul Fly' sounding like a Mark Ronson production had he been hanging out with George Clinton's Parlet followed by the bonafide P-Funk anthem 'Steppin' both featuring the stunning vocals by the Dames Brown girls.

Amp Fiddler is credited for taking both a young J Dilla and also Q-Tip under his wing teaching them his Akai MPC techniques, setting the path for some of Hip Hop's finest recordings which have defined the shape of things to come.

His musical collaborations & current duties include: Moodymann's musical maestro, keyboard wizard for Theo Parrish's live band, a longstanding Funkadelic member, co-writer for Sly & Robbie, Prince, Maxwell, Jamiroquai & Seal to name a few.

Tiger Stripes latest Truesoul release comes in the shape of Body Shake EP. The tropically tinged, sometimes heavy, futuristic 3 track EP really showcases Stripes eclectic approach to dance music.

The dominant kick drums and soulful vocals make this energy driven EP the perfect tech house dance-bomb.

The uplifting crescendos and funk laden percussion bring together Body Shake, All Night and Ego Express to make an essential 3 tracker.

Occasionally prodigal, but ever-prodigious, Elliot Thomas AKA Etbonz weaves an 80-s/early 90's sci-fi cinema sound into a total recall of scattered memories.
Childhood play with starcom and Gobots. Soaking in cult classics like Robocop, Predator, and Big Trouble in Little China on VHS. DJing in spacey laser-lit rooms draped with sound-dampening curtains.

Side A leads with 'Blue Drink,' which is carried perfectly on melodic motifs designed for trance inducing, with a steadily crescendoing & irresistible rhythmic mantra.

Following this, 'Curtainbox Space World' flips the 'Jerry Garcia finds a 303' switch and accidentally opens a portal to some deep shamanic release.

THE SECRET SQUIRRELS CONTINUE THEIR HEAVY LOVE AFFAIR WITH UNCLASSIC DISCO-INFLUENCED PARTY STARTERS.

'Exhumed' is the first new release by DJ Harvey’s Locussolus project since their critically acclaimed self-titled album was re-released as 'Locossulous Expanded' in the Summer of 2020, including streaming for the first time.

Originally a part of 'Harvey’s Tales from the Nocturne', this EP comes off the shelf for a special Halloween release, led by the title track 'Zombie Sex Dream' which features vocals by original band member Tara Selleck and is accompanied by a demented video directed by bandmate Sam Fox.

The Strictly Rhythm imprint is legendary and is instantly recognisable by connoisseurs worldwide. It's a label that has contributed time and time again to dance music culture across it's almost 30 year lifespan. Countless classics passed through the NYC offices of Mark Finkelstein and Gladys Pizarro and this brand new 'Strictly Classics' series looks to celebrate this cornerstone dance label and it's immense catalogue by going back to the archives and presenting some double-header action for diehard fans and newcomers alike. That's right, the 'proper' mixes, reissued from source and remastered to the highest spec, each track spread across one side of a 12" for optimal sonic playback.

It's a truly deep slice of that NYC grit that works on every level, the rough with the smooth, trademark Vega-isms and those drums! A sure-shot. On the flip is yet another gem - Hardrive's 'Just Believe' which is certainly a knowing nod back to the Disco days delivered with gusto by Louie Vega and the maestro Tony Humphries. On the A Side Boston's Trip Report pays R.E.S.P.E.C.T. with an acid workout. On the flip G Markus freaks a dancehall classic with some more acid and smooths out a forgotten 2000's r&b gem.

Following up on last fall’s well received stamped testpress vinyl only release of “Everywhere You Look” by A Separate Reality (ASR), the Our Starry Universe label launches for reals (on date) with the ASR debut maxi-ep, “Heuristic Programs For Cognitive Centering.”
ASR is the collaborative vision of veteran NYC producers Nick Chacona (2020VISION/HECTOWORKS/MOODMUSIC) & Tim Wagner (Amy Douglas, Sunrise Hwy, 33Hz). Wagner admits “The title of the EP might be slightly tongue in cheek, but it’s also on the money. This is a record about the meeting of technology and spirituality. A meeting where you don’t know what will happen - only the possibilities.”
The tracks on this latest release present a 35 minute journey into a world where psych-tinged Cosmic flirts with Balearic chug while downing Jazz laced with dub. “It’s like the sound track to the surf movie constantly playing in my mind,” Adds Chacona.

Healing from some late-night studio jams in Northern Italy, this new EP out on Axe on Wax showcases outstanding 'from house to disco' free music approach. 'Catch me in the blue' features a fully original and charismatic sound-work direction from DJ Rou, flowing with D'Arabia live finger drumming, Jimbo's lyrics and Sci-Low jazzy-blues guitar picks.
Let yourself inspire by this authentic dancing vortex!

Original, Idiosyncratic, Full Of Imagination And Featuring A Couple Of Dancefloor Hits, How Could I Resist 'also, 'the Sun Is High' Was Surely Destined To Become A Sun-blissed Summer Anthem.....

Feon Has A Few Things He'd Like To Say About This Ep -

'i Wrote These Tracks In A Manic Ten-day Session, Shortly After An Unravelling Ayahuasca Ceremony, Which Is Evidenced In The Psychedelic Sound Of The First Track In Particular. Upon Reflection There Is Something Of A Primal Quality To 'the Sun Is High', We Were All Sun Worshippers At One Point In Our Ancient History. The Vocals Are My Voice Stacked Thirty Odd Times In Different Harmonies, Then Put Through A Space Echo, And They're Followed By Some Gratuitous Moog Noodling To Boot! For Use At The Beach Party.

The Flip Goes Into Darker More Experimental Territory, With 'holland Fly By' Taking Clear Inspiration From An Old Implog Track, And 'without Sound' Getting Stranger Still, The Vocal Refrain's Mournful, Tense Landscape Interrupted By Boisterous Drums.

Its A Real Joy And Honour That I Can Add Something To The Optimo Sound World As It Is One That Has Given Me Great Pleasure Over The Years.'

Jennifer Touch - a name that most likely will ring various bells in the ears of those who have been monitoring the recent proceedings within the Riotvan camp. Just remember her vocal refinement of the New World EP and her (still newsworthy) contribution to the - Familiar Faces No.1' label compilation. After a collaborative EP with Keinemusik's own Adam Port, released on Pets Recordings, her time has come for an ultimate declaration of independence.

Acclaimed Russian producer, DJ and live musician Kito Jempere is back with a stunning second album, this time on Italian label Hell Yeah. Entitled Sea Monster and due for release in early 2017, the nine track album is a fantastic fusion of live instrumentation and electronic production.

Kito Jempere is a musical polymath. The Russian artist, producer, multi-instrumentalist and band leader has been involved in many projects over the last ten years plus. These range from rock to acid jazz to electronic bands and often call upon a rotating cast of other members who are all equally talented.

From playing in small bars to headlining big shows for thousands of people in Saint Petersburg, he has put out a number of albums and singles on labels like Freerange, Room With A View and Hell Yeah and DJs around Europe.

Jempere plays live as the Kito Jempere Band, and here he calls upon his bandmates for their many skills to lend the album a richly musical feel.

Mixed and co-produced by band member Roman Urazov, the album features Artemiy Gunbin aka Noteless, the voice of the Kito Jempere Band and front man of his own rock band Videatape, as well as Ruslan Gadzhimuradov, a long time drummer on many projects, plus Matvey Averin, the bassist but also co-producer for cult group Manizha and finally Sergey Lipsky who here plays guitar and is also half of Simple Symmetry as well as having played for Kito's other project Saint Petersburg Disco Spin Club group.

Sea Monster kicks off with Lifetime Theme, a heavenly groove with loose drums and percussion and gorgeous keys. Form there, Artemiy Gunbin's ethereal and crystal clear vocals take centre stage amongst balearic guitars on album single 'Ampa', and then 'To Talk' is a deeper cut with bumpy drums, long tailed pads and shiny synths all making for a curious and whimsical atmosphere.

'Grid Cells' is a lush instrumental track with clever revel and echo adding a sense of grandeur to the freeform jazz drums and frazzled synths, 'Uohha' is as sunny and laid back as an afternoon on the beach and 'Puzzled' then layers up scuzzy basslines, popping hits and suspenseful synths into something smooth and seductive.

The final third of the album closes out with blissful guitar licks, lazy broken beats and brilliant drum playing that all have you wishing it was summer again.

This is an album with elements of jazz, house, disco, balearic and many more sounds all smoothly blended into one coherent and captivating album full of soul and musical skill.

Forthcoming Director’s Cut of Kito Jempere’s Sea Monster album on Hell Yeah is filled with gems, and two of them are now getting pressed up on a limited edition run of only 100 7”s.

It will be a special package mastered and cut by Andreas at Schnitstelle, hand written and hand numbered by Andrea Amaducci and including a double sticker in a high quality plastic sleeve.

Russian master Kito Jempere dazzles again with “Uohha!”, which swaggers on lazy drums with expressive vocals conveying a sense of carefree emotion.

“To Marvin” is then a jazzed up number, with keys and trumpets, twisted synths and loose drums all getting you up on your toes.

This is a sure-fire secret weapon that you need in your collection.

"Emotional Response continues the second SchleiBen series with a pan-ocean exploration of meditative spiritualism meets psychedelic ambience. The 2nd of the 4 part series expands with the inclusive offerings from LA's Matthewdavid and London's HOLOVR for a cyclical journey of altered consciousness against lush 303-tinged harmonics. First, Matthewdavid provides a 20-minute live recording to showcase his "meditation with music". Beat maker, producer, label owner, radio host and now new age explorer, Matthew David McQueen has been a fixture of the City Of Angles music scene for over a decade. However, it was his association with Tropical Hi-Fi (SchleiBen 3) that first attracted the label's attention to dig deeper in to his developing sound.
As Leaving Records founder he has a prominent role is shaping the cities sound that has seen him work with Sun Araw, Laraaji and a myriad of the label's roster. Here performing in most his recent incarnation, Matthewdavid's Mindflight - having just released the wonderful Trust The Guide And Glide double album opus - is Sonos. Recorded live at Dublab Radio's "Tonalism" event at Sonos Studios, the piece utilises Critter & Guitari Pocket Piano, Hulusi Flute and Ableton Live to create movement, fade and sequence. A looping realisation, music inside music, thresholds expanded, connecting the centre, a place, origin, a soul that allows a devout expression to exude and find mediation in sound. This is music to get lost and at the same, get found in.
Set against these endless arp-loops, is HOLOVR, raising a more focused consciousness that is a perfect counterpoint. Having already appeared on the label via his recent, deep, eloquent remix of Sad City, as well as releasing with label favourites Opal Tapes, Further Records and Firecracker, the desire to work with another uniquely individual producer has been in place for several years. Recorded using only hardware; 303 lines, soft pads, arpeggio synths and Roland percussion capture a snapshot of time in a natural, in-the-moment negotiation of these different elements, giving trademark, open, drifting loops that let the listener within, while texture and tone engage, activating harmonic resonances almost as a drone. This progressive disintegration, tuning in and dropping out of musical spheres envelops while hinting at aphex influences and (artificial) intelligence. SchleiBen shifts, expanding, growing, pulsating. Keep the faith and (un)listen.

UK artists Reset Robot, Jon Gurd and Tom Powell collaborate again on their free-form
hybrid electronica project- 'Mister Woo'.
Following a series of under-the-radar EPs, 'Beyond Light' is the trio's debut album and most experimental and eclectic work so far.
Mister Woo recorded 'Beyond Light' in their Portsmouth studio over three weeks in 2016, setting themselves to writing and recording tracks on-the fly and building an album around one-take, improvised performances. Free to take its own form and direction from the outset, the result is a varied, unpredictable, high-energy record that pushes Mister Woo's distinct brand of
electronica into new and unexplored places.

"This release is 3xLP and it's individually 1000 hand-numbered limited edition. The first 200 copies are pressed on BLUE TRANSPARENT vinyls (AR012).
It's dedicated to the Organic / Meditative / Groovy 1992 Japanese release, with all the ORIGINAL tracks, contained both in the CD and in the now so rare 12"" + 4 SPECIAL REMIXES from Japanese men, none than... Kuniyuki, Chee Shimizu (Organic Music), Max Essa and Tadashi Yabe (U.F.O.).

New York's JKriv returns with his outfit The Disco Machine to release another big-hitting track on 100% original Disco label File Under Disco.'Make It Hot' - which he released on the imprint a couple of years back and then found its way into the sets of top disco jockeys all around the globe including Rahaan, Horse Meat Disco, Idjut Boys and Greg Wilson - has been called a future Disco classic in the making. The new single, 'Can't Give it up', again features the amazing vocal talents of Adeline Michele from Escort and picks up the beat right where 'Make It Hot' left off.

Finally the official remastered reissue of one of the rarest and sought after italo-disco record from early 80's. You'll be hard pushed to hear anything like this ever again... this is an epic out there electronic production that's one of a kind. In the same period of other italo-disco classics like REM, STOPP, Klein & MBO, GANG previously reissued by Best Italy, they representing the roots of chicago sound played by the pioneers like Ron Hardy!

Proving a saviour in these testing times, Bollywave supply a four-track feast of Bollywood edit delights. Something to stick a smile on your face and get those dormant limbs moving, it’s a feel-good blowout of fragrant firepower.

On Animals Dancing's eighth disc, Dazion aka Cris Kuhlen lets rip with three psychoactive, percussion-laden mind benders for all good dance floors.

A tweaked vocoder mantra speaks in tongues across interlaced layers of live percussion on 'Yu Go Bah' before sirens ring in the distant chants.

Blood Moon takes the marching band down to the basement, fusing more twisted percussion with electro squelch to soundtrack the sweat rain down from the heavens.

'The Chant Of Celebrational Beings' beckons in a sunrise as the last inklings of serotonin jerk a tear to your eye.

Deetron’s debut EP for Running Back is an amalgam of some of the key virtues of both parties involved: the evocative and glorious power of the early days of rave (see cover art for further reference), emotional house, melodious techno, a beatless beauty and a firmly polished dance floor. Over the years, the Swiss producer has proven that his skill set and philosophy (underpinned by his mastery of the DJ trade) is perfect for such a mixture.
The EPs title track is the result of an extensive research in quiet storm soul records and their influence on traditional house music. „T-Symmetry“ and „TXT“ make extensive use of Roland’s classic JX-8P synthesizer with very different outcomes and the certainty that the idea trumps the tools. Euphoric UK breakbeat pianos and Detroit techno soul can be made with the same mind and machine as well as in any time or place. A record full of fun, finesse and fantasy. Deetron, we salute you!

Following previous sold out instalments from Yadava, EVM128 & James Rudie, Partner Music, High Praise bossman Hugo Mari steps up to the plate for the 5th instalment of the label’s lauded edits series. Two action-packed, vinyl-only, bombs set for dancefloor detonation, the A-Side 'Tired Of Sitting Down' channels the past year's sedentary frustrations into a joyous invitation back to the club, whereas on the flip 'Acid Locomotive' is an intense, driving number, complete with uplifting fanfares and (as the title suggests) a little acid-tinged addition. It’s good to be back.

Having steadily honed his soulful sound over the past few years with releases on Heist and Freerange Records, as well as amassing over 2 Million Spotify streams, Hugo has marked himself as one to watch in the UK’s vibrant electronic music landscape. His knack for fusing organic musical elements with driving rhythms and emotive melodies, allows him to craft beautifully uplifting music that works beautifully either at home or on the dance floor, winning support from Jamz Supernova, Tom Ravenscroft, Nemone, Complex, Stamp The Wax, Ransom Note & many more.
