House Vinyl New Releases - News

Unanim Records turns out to be the perfect match for Ion Ludwig's sound that refuses to confine itself under a specific genre.

2 tracks, each of them receiving a whole side of the record, as plenty of time and space to develop slowly. Mania GR, a wobbly theme looped obsessively around the crisp kick, takes time to change its texture from dreamscaping to trippy spirals. Same story, different characters on Side B: Wishkey in an IceJar introduces an overwhelming bassline, leaving space only for the storyteller to breathe into the track's energy.

Designed for the very special dancefloor moments, Unanim's third release manages to capture Ion Ludwig's sound signature in its entire complexity.

The 3rd Mode of Expression release includes fresh cut's from Kashawar & Paul Walter. Two original tracks and a collab work together, a selection of perfekt tunes for the late summer Moments. As usuall selfprinted cover and 180gr vinyl.

New Vinyl Only offshoot from Masterworks Music, pressed on 10 Inch with a printed sleeve.

First release is from Closed Paradise with 2 special cuts commissioned especially for this series. 2015 was a big year for Closed Paradise with releases for labels like Kolour Ltd, Diggin' Disco Deep, Whiskey Disco, & Above Machine.

Another day, another project here at Hizou. This time the first in our Special series of strictly-limited vinyl releases focusing on another side to the electronic music we love, yes, a little different to the classic Chicago and Detroit-inspired sounds of our main label, but with just the same passion, pride and panache. Friend of the label W&P Hgg (aka Hugo Giner) returns with Techno Is Back, a cut darker and more twisted than the timeless and jazz-influenced house he is usually associated with, while the enigmatic Ithkuil debuts with Speak My Language, a slice of truly dope deepness. The much-touted duo Gauss enhance their rapidly-growing reputation with Diversey River Bowl, another uncompromising delivery of machine funk, whilst the vastly-experienced pairing of Jaime Read and Owen Jay join forces on Aalto, a groovy, acid-inspired little number.

More disco house gold: Shir Khan presents 4 new fine cuts on Black Jukebox 17 featuring Martin Lewis & Aussteiger.

Hello world ! We Still Play Records are very pleased and proud to share with you our second vinyl release. Blkmarket Membership Records is back with their 2nd release featuring a stellar EP from electronic music veteran Todd Sines. Three cuts of modular goodness that each bring a different flavor to the dance floor.

2ND Sequel is a rising star that first burst into the producing scene back in 2010 at the tender age of seventeen. Sparkling with talent, his high quality and versatile productions radiate across Deep-House, new school Electronica and old school influences of Pop and Garage creating a stellar sound that's fresh and uniquely original. Any star gazers will see that 2ND Sequel is definitely 'one to watch' and, despite his young age, has a well-eductated musical ear.

After releasing his first vinyl only EP 'Tribute To The Little Things' on Moving Vibrations, it's time to bring more of his musical imagination to light with this identically titled 10inch debut album single 'Vibrations'.

Ben Gomori's Monologues Records imprint presents its first vinyl outing: a collection of new tracks and tried-and-tested edits from the vaults.

Melon dons his Je Dàvu guise to bring us 'Don't You Need', a stomping disco work-out that's been heavily rinsed by San Proper and the select few who've been lucky enough to receive a copy over the years. Fellow Amsterdammer Uffe finally unleashes the jazzy, shapeshifting 'Keepon' nearly 50,000 SoundCloud plays later. Vilnius hotshot Ponty Mython goes deep and cute on his woozy, melodic 'Still Afraid Of Bats'. Monologues fave Thorsteinssøn rounds off the package with the chunky, tribal-tinged 'Bang' from his Copenhagen workshop.

The Monologues Podcast sees DJ/producers/live acts mix an hour of their own material, with recent and upcoming guests including Atjazz, Anonym, Rework, Blakkat and Fred Everything.

Early May will see Mihai Popoviciu return with his second long player in the shape of the 'Home' LP on Bondage music, comprising twelve original compositions from the Romanian artist.

Mihai Popoviciu : "The album's called "home" because it is inspired by my experiences from my home city Sibiu in Romania. Home is also the place where the album was produced, in my stripped down studio. It is where I always return to rest and chill after touring the world and the place where I feel most safe and comfortable. The artwork shows an image of the airport lane in Sibiu with surrounding hills and mountains in the back. It is a metaphoric "gate" to both leave and return home."

Romania's Mihai Popoviciu has carved out quite the career over the past decade releasing material through the likes of Highgrade, Hudd Traxx, Poker Flat and Fear of Flying. Here though we see him deliver his second full-length album and return to Bondage Music following a single on the label back in
2013.

Across the project Mihai delivers his signature dance floor focused, stripped back style with records like 'ACK', 'Sandstone Folder' and 'Tentacle Operated' showcasing the hypnotic and percussive style
Popoviciu executes so well. The project also drifts into smooth dubby realms via compositions like 'Cannon Poets' and 'Sunshine' while the likes of 'Triumph' and 'Music 999' radiantly display Mihai's proficient production abilities as he wanders into a brighter more house centric sound.

All in all Mihai Popoviciu turns in a coherent long player whilst exploring a broad range of styles, 'Focus and 'Havana' lay down a groove-led feel with subtle modulations and an unfaltering structure, while 'Data On Data', 'Paranoia' and 'Hypnosia' tip the focus over to dark and brooding territories with murky synth pads and chuggy low end tones. Once again Popoviciu has proven himself to be one of Romania's finest electronic music exports.

Heavy deep disco invasion! Black Pearl Records Mudegg (Roskow Kretschmann & Tom Sky) deliver insight into their knowledge about and passion for disco-music. One complex and well arranged song full of musicality and a keen sense of groove make >At Light< a bomb. Sellos raw and straight rework and Siggatunez rolling Slo Mo Joint improve the fourth tieffrequent-release to a very diversified dance floor-filler and a very special piece of music..

We are really pleased to present you the mysterious new only vinyl imprint MOnsieur BLUe.

Re.Face Limited inaugurates its first release on vinyl with a unique 4 tracker EP titled Lost. Authors of this work the italians Re_Named, creative and talented resident of one of the strongest national night-life realities, Zu::Club, based in pescara. If Lost, eponymous EP track, condenses in itself the thrill of a hopeful search of quiet serenity, United seals the safety of a placid finding, conclusion of an introspective journey to the discovery of a significant identity of its own. On the other side, the remixes of Sakro and Jack Wickham consistently run through the same vein, a current that leaves way of surrender, but never tragically lost.

Cakeman Records is a new record label created and curated by Dragos Ilici. The first release comes from romanian producer Teluric. "În Padurea Fermecata" means "in the magical forest" in romanian. Its name provides the track originality, and it piques curiosity. It is a trippy yet solid techno track, rich in atmospheres and pads, warm and intense in the same time.
"Magnetic Fields" is a stripped down dub techno track. Rolling hihats, a punchy kick drum that moves your body, and a classic dub techno stab combine in a simple yet groovy and effective track.

Catren hits the shelves with its second release, a 3-tracker slow cooked by Emi Nescu. We jump on this house & techno bandwagon with Maimultmodelat, a 12 minute piece stripped down to its hihat backbone, with the focus points centered here & there on the wobbly bassline and the sharp cut kicks. As for the Side B, a more textured journey awaits us: Soustra, encapsulating its warmth deep into the fading melodic strips and the fast paced Walkabout, a breaks sequence that could easily hyopnotize the crowd with its electro reminiscences hidden under the percussions layer.Catren 002 exposes us to 3 apparently different tracks yet with one strong thing in common: Emi Nescu's groove led energy

Ho Do Ri is the combination of Fabe (Salty Nuts) & Ben Balance (Sukhumvit Records)

Ever impressing Romanian duo NTFO return to their Sintope imprint to deliver four weighty, original productions set for release on the labels vinyl series this July.

After bursting onto the scene in 2010 with the release of their first vinyl LP, NTFO have rapidly established themselves as one of Romania's top duo's amongst the nations ever expanding depth of top electronic talent. With their catalogue boasting releases on Diynamic, 20/20 Vision Editions, Gruuv, Objectivity and Bondage the pairing have caught the eyes and gained the support of key industry heavyweights and look set to continue the trend with their latest Sintope release.

'Fuel' opens the EP with an impressive arrangement of reverberating low end tones, crisp hats and snaking synth lines before 'Rush Over' switches up the aesthetic with it's offering of soft melodies, laid back grooves and shuffling drum licks. Third track 'Menduz Affair' then builds from a series of lo-fi glitches and pops, with punchy 4x4 kicks and an infectious low-slung groove line revealing a production aimed at the dancefloor. Last up, vinyl only offering 'Tot Cubas' rounds out the release in fine style, ebbing and flowing through 6 minutes of raw, intricate percussion patterns that are packed full of swing.

The original 12" sampler from the Tsuba Rarities album, originally released in 2010. Nina Kraviz delivers a classic remix and Geddes & Newman rework Lost Souls into Lost The love adding a rather well known vocal on top. Strictly Vinyl Only!
