Yes, we’re presenting you a new label from Ukraine again. This time the name is Secret Keeper, the owner of the label is Orbit, and for the first release they’re having one of the secret gems of Kyiv – Luschn. And if you weren’t familiar with that name – it’s finally time to acknowledge him.

All of the tracks here are untitled, and we’re going straight to the B1. The shortest track on the record and also the most interesting one. With a pinch of old electro house and the base of old progressive house with all that additional buzzing, what’s not to like here, right?

Staying on the B-side, the track on the B2 position is by far the trippiest one here, taking you in weird minimal ways for six minutes. A1 here will probably be played the most with its spooky, grimy, ChristianAB-ish type of vibe. And also with a huge nod to the mid-noughties. The one on the A2 is a slow roller, that type of track, you always like to hear, when you’re a bit tired, but still want to continue dancing. It will recharge you for at least 5 minutes.

Rob Mello and Lil’ Mark return as the Detox Twins after a twenty something year hiatus since their legendary ‘Love Shared’ was released on Music For Freaks in 2000.

Rob carries out his classic 'No Ears' duties with 2 tracks on the A side and Lil' Mark takes up the other 2 on the B side with his familiar stripped mixes. The original ‘In My Soul’ will be released separately on the label very soon.

"So A" - This song, written during the COVID-19 pandemic, carries a distinct Ghetto House atmosphere and reflects my dreams of freedom. It contains elements of utopia and was created in a dawless mode, like a timeless song. It's a solo creation.

"Jakivgusto" - Another solo song of mine, composed during the pandemic, also carries the spirit of the ghetto. This song reflects my contemplations about the moment and our inner strength during challenging times.

In collaboration with Yate, we crafted the songs "Black Camel" and "Sun Day." "Black Camel" is a musical journey that narrates a cosmic rally, bringing excitement and energy to the listener. "Sun Day" is a musical message about a bright future before the onset of wartime events, reminding us of peace and harmony.

The third record on Baltidore Records, titled «Rudimental», brings together the forces of two producers from Eastern Europe. This release features three tracks by the label's founder, Koloniari, known for his unique approach to electronic music, combining deep bass, experimental textures, and hypnotic rhythms. Joining them are two tracks from Kyiv-based sound producer Roma Khropko, a member of the project Criminal Practice, whose work is distinguished by dynamic energy and innovative sound solutions. This record is a vivid example of the fusion of two different approaches to music creation, each reflecting the unique vision of its creators. Koloniari contributes atmospheric and deep compositions, while Roma Khropko adds rhythmic complexity and layering, which perfectly complement the overall picture.

Logidy is renowned for his versatile range of original beats, spanning from dreamy soundscaped downtempo to captivating, high-energy dancefloor tracks. For his debut EP, Logidy takes a more head-on approach and swaps his bubbly sofa sound for four low-end-heavy dance tracks. In between techy and trancy, the first three naturally aim for the club while the so-called beach mix pays warm respects to a certain place in north-berlin.

“Chacha” is the third album from one of the most groundbreaking European acts of the moment. Schulverweis, the collaboration between the prolific Levente Pavelka and the elektro enfant terrible Johannes Haas (aka L.F.T.), delivers an exceptional blend of eerie, lo-fi post-punk. This album breathes new life into an otherwise seemingly explored genre, making it an undeniable must-have for collectors drawn to the experimental edge of darkwave sounds. All tracks have been specially remastered for vinyl by Daniel Hallhuber at Young and Cold Studios (Germany).

Antoni Maiovvi is an artist like few others. “Knights of New Haven” summarises his unique ability and unparalleled range. This return to the Bordello reflects the influence of the West Coast Sound of the Netherlands as well as that machine music of his adopted home of the U.S. “Later Not Lately” bends bars above a throbbing kick, hi-hats ruffling the clean arcs of string. Echoes of Chicago and Detroit penetrate the EP. Melting melodies fold and oscillate under the crashing cymbals of “Slack Blabbath”, staggered synthlines jolted by tight percussion patterns. A brother-in-arms opens the flip, Danny Wolfers drafted in under his Legowelt moniker to turn his magic to “Later Not Lately”. Undulating undertones are sliced by serrated snares before a sordid TB303 is unsheathed, Wolfers’ soulful and squalid retelling of the original. “The Madness in the Method” closes. Fizzing static blurs drum patterns, a taut note piercing the dense bass fog. Teetering between the profound and the profane, Maiovvi pivots his horror disco trademark sound with driving house drums and devil-may-care grandeur. An EP of epic proportions.

A new label straight from Ukraine, called Frequencies, is ready with its first joint. For this VA release they decided to gather 4 artists all around Ukraine for the unforgettable house journey.
A-side is starting with Odesa-based guru Rayo (All Inn, Fabric, Propaganda, Body Parts) and continues with a high-quality vinyl selector and producer Vinaya (Wex, Telomere Plastic, Black Pony Orchestra Records) from the capital of Ukraine.
On the flipside we’re having the youngest one from the list – Peshka (Visionquest, Banoffee Pies, Alien Recordings), who was born in Mariupol + last, but not least, the owner of the label, also member of the Aimed trio – Dibe (Adult Only, Drumma, Serialism), who’s currently based in Switzerland.

Strange movements emerge from the lake. Beneath the thin layer of water that separates aquatic and terrestrial creatures, dozens of carp move in unison. From here come the drifting voices. French artist Raveld is the bearer of those echoing sounds, and he does it among four distinctive, slick, original minimal tunes that resonate throughout both hemispheres. Prepare to be permeated by pulsating basslines, bald groove patterns, and a good dose of ethereal, blossoming energy.

E-Talking crashes onto Love On The Rocks with a 4-track EP that’s weirder, faster and harder than anything Paramida’s ever-evolving imprint has put out to date; pushing the label into new territory that’s simultaneously unexpected and unmistakably true-to-form.

The Berlin-via London-based French producer, one half of the duo & collective Nummer, released his studio debut on AD93 in 2018 and his first album on Going Good in 2021, with productions that are dense, intricate and intoxicating, overflowing with ideas and effortless finesse, qualities all on display on this EP in otherworldly abundance.

The ‘Cosmic Egg’ refers to our modern understanding of the universe as ever-expanding; extrapolated backwards in time, it implies a finite starting-time and a small starting-place, from which the entire cosmos metaphorically hatched.

‘Pads & Frogs’ finds E-Talking in the midst of this process; slowly awakening to find himself up to his eyeballs in a shimmering psychedelic rainforest, awash with swirling pads, lush percussion, tripped-out inter-species vocals and tribal rhythms, building and looping into each other in a joyous dance of life-giving. A cosmic field recording from the incubation of this special egg, recorded somewhere between whatever passes for a rainforest in Berlin and deep, infinite space, sat upon lovingly and diligently by Paramida and Alex while in the process of developing a close friendship with its birth-mother – the three of them keeping it collectively warm and preparing to hatch since early lockdown days.

The time, motherfuckers, is now. After a warm, fuzzy beginning, of course, comes a huge, shattering explosion: ‘Rise Up’ is the EP’s first big leap into new territory, turning up the pace considerably and wasting no time in serving up some seriously pounding cosmic techno, LOTR-style, with some unexpected twists and turns halfway through. It’s all in the switches and details here, and they are so good you will want to literally get naked and lick your speakers for momentary sonic relief.

Unfortunately for you, ‘Life Begins Now’ doesn’t let up, proceeding with the same intensity but a more house sensibility, with layers of percussion and grooves building off each other into a drop which could easily carry the track, but is really just a tease for another twist that sends this one off fully into intricate, exquisite orbit. ‘Neidan’ brings us slowly back to Earth for another slamming house workout with all the hallmarks of a future LOTR classic: sun on the horizon, cosmic energy to infinity, all your friends together on the dance floor. It doesn’t get better than this.

Previously, the universe was thought of as eternally old, with no start and no growth. Boring. This EP exemplifies just how wrong that is: an adrenaline-fuelled salute to the constant creative expansion of the universe, and all the weird beings who inhabit it.

Rustam is a Ukrainian DJ and producer with a preference for groovy basslines in dreamy spaces. ‘Happy Comby’ serves up a touch of acid on a rough-edged groove, while Jordan Lakofski’s ‘The Heat’ on the A2 is dripping in nostalgia, driven by an infectious 8-bit synth lead and a rolling bassline.

Finally out, the third release from Mondo Phase Rec!

The record features four unreleased tracks by Robert Calvin, a producer already recognized at the time by the iconic Turbo label, founded by Tiga. Produced between 2001 and 2004, these tracks had been forgotten on old, dusty hard drives, but their sound is definitely relevant today.

Robert unmistakably draws inspiration from Italo-Disco and EBM, finding his own personal way to carry forward a Spanish post-punk tradition with that melancholic Italo-Disco touch that the electroclash years knew how to interpret so well.

For those unfamiliar with Mezerg, his real name is Marc Mezergue. Originally from Bordeaux, he launched the project in 2017. Prior to that, he started playing piano at the age of 16, teaching himself entirely. He later pursued studies at the Bordeaux Jazz Conservatory, though he wasn't particularly inclined to follow that path further. Nevertheless, it provided him with a solid musical foundation.

Making beats since ’95, Uruguay’s Two Phase U now lands on System Error’s ERROR100 series. Exploring the delicious intersection between classic hardware-driven sounds and modern sensibilities, where the familiar warmth of hardware grooves connects seamlessly with the pulse of modern dancefloors.

Known for his hardware-harnessing live shows and acidic jams, the Bristol-based Miles Otto’s ‘Skitter’ EP is alive with propulsive electro rhythms and dreamy synth melodies. ‘CV Swizzly’ grabs your attention with its wistful analogue tones and percussive crunch, before a burbling bassline burrows through the arrangement, while the 303-laced ‘Vectron’ takes cues from Detroit electro with its menacing riffs and eerie synth drifts. ‘Skitter’ itself subtly reveals its details layer by layer, with crisp drum machine hits and low tones opening out into mystic harmonies, and Plant43 recasts ‘CV Swizzly’ in his distinct image, adding metallic synth bass and urgent keys to finish the EP in fine style.

Tony Neptune continues the story of Yuri Gagarin, the fabled cosmonaut and explorer who tragically died in 1961. In the third of these odes to Gagarin we join our Hero after escaping the city of Toierra drawn by a mysterious pull he tries to find help and allies to bring down the Clinks and save his friends.

From the mind bending warping techno of Gradual Internment to electro with a big Detroit flavour in Rem Katar there’s real dance floor numbers here, interspersed with mellower organic tracks to cap off a varied melodic release.

As usual the artwork has been designed and painted for the release by Sam Jefferies with the tracks acting as a soundtrack to the cover image. An insert containing the story accompanies each copy of the release with a print of the original pen and pencil design on the flip.

Alienist Rec is back with its third installment, presenting a special split EP that showcases the diverse talents of two exceptional artists. Each side of the vinyl is dedicated to a different artist, delivering a captivating blend of underground electronic music.

On the A-side, we are thrilled to introduce Chaou B, a promising young producer from Morocco. Known for his distinct style, Chaou B explores the realms of deep Techno Electro House with two mesmerizing cuts that are not for the faint-hearted.

Track A1, titled "Instinct," is a dynamic composition featuring sharp drums that create an irresistible rhythmic foundation. Combined with a mesmerizingly mental and spiritual bassline, as well as a captivating synthline, this track is sure to take the breath away on every dance floor.

Track A2, "Untitled Groove," takes a more straightforward and loopy approach while maintaining the captivating vibe established in the first track. Chaou B incorporates crispy synth leads that elevate the energy and intensity, keeping the listener fully immersed in the groove.

Flipping over to the B-side, we encounter DJ Void, a seasoned veteran of Vienna's best parties and afters. DJ Void brings forth two groovy and uplifting productions that effortlessly traverse the realms of House and Minimal Techno.

Track B1, "Frankfurt Jaam," is a masterful creation that showcases DJ Void's intelligent arrangement skills. Combining pulsating beats with a meticulously crafted blend of melodic elements, this track will undoubtedly keep your ears focused and your feet moving.

JALE makes its Roof Records debut for the seventh release of this established concept.

With the four tracks of this ep, the artist tells us about his new musical explorations: enthralling, sometimes broken, sometimes syncopated rhythms that blend with hypnotic sounds with strong acid contaminations. A total journey that embraces what has been (the influences of the 90s are clearly perceived) and smiles at what will be. Music goes beyond time, order without power is celebrated.

However, at the heart of it all it’s the connection between the group’s two members, Anthony Silvester and Sarah Jones, the friendship the much-travelled duo have managed to maintain for nearly 15 years and a showcase of the slow-burning construction of the electronic world that they’ve surrounded themselves with. We Used To Be Friends is ultimately the tale of two storied artists in their own right, holding onto each other through personal and career twists and turns, relocations and broader movements through respective phases of their lives. Silvester and Jones first met and then collaborated as part of biting post-punk five-piece XX Teens in 2008, eventually breaking off to forge their own path together even as the latter’s demand as a drummer grew. Performing with everyone from Hot Chip, Harry Styles and Bloc Party among many others, Jones has been a constant percussive presence across the sphere of alternative UK pop music – she’s also found time for her own solo project Pillow Person and played on records by the likes of Puscifer and Kurt Vile. Silvester meanwhile has performed in art galleries across Europe including: Fridericianum in Kassel, Kölnischer Kunstverein in Cologne, and Vleeshal in Middelburg, as well as providing sound design and composing work for several art films. Technology + Teamwork is the constant throughout all of that though. “Technology + Teamwork's name perfectly describes how we work” Silvester explains. “Sometimes the teamwork is between each other and sometimes it’s between us and the technology.” Although going by the name Technology + Teamwork as far back as 2014, two events conspired that pulled the project into focus for the pair of them: firstly, Silvester spent a year constructing a soundproof studio shed on the border of London and Essex where he lives. Secondly, inevitably, the pandemic brought the globe-trotting Jones back home to just seven miles away from her long-time collaborator and friend. “We probably hung out more than we had for a few years” says Silvester. “Also, after all her Pillow Person releases Sarah had gotten really good with recording vocals and knowing what did and didn’t work and had a really good home studio set up. We still worked separately though, exchanging ideas via email and WhatsApp.” As with many artists through 2020 and early 2021, working separately was a new necessity that they were forced to adapt to. However, it became clear that there were creative benefits to it. “It really changed our sound and our sounds became a lot more focused as a result” Jones says. “I wanted to use the same ideas of improvisation that I might use while playing the drums for myself and apply that to melodies and lyrics.” The album bristles with hyperpop modernity. You can hear it in the manipulated vocals most prominently on Big Blue’s disco strut and on Moving Too’s heady mix of pitched up voice and burrowing sub bass. However, the pair also looked to San Francisco and the West Coast synthesis movement of the 60s, Silvester inspired by the likes of Suzanne Ciani and Don Buchla. The plaintive lo-fi and melancholy of Amsterdam incorporates Mutable Instrument’s Marbles by Émilie Gillet which – inspired by Buchla’s own synthesis work – outputs random voltages to give the track an air of unpredictability. It’s something that occurs throughout the album, the duo revelling in the happy accidents that disrupt the flow of their hook-laden pop. “The ‘Buchlian’ ideas of music having randomness and uncertainty, completely freed us up” Silvester explains. “It felt a bit like having more members in the band, machines that didn't do what you expected or intended.” Perhaps more subtly, is the influence of 17th and 18th century Baroque music, with Silvester drawing a line between it and the 90’s R’n’B he and Jones both love – exemplified perhaps best on K+B’s percussive claps and sultry grooves. The portentous juddering synthpop of the title track, meanwhile, alludes specifically to Handel’s Sarabande. It’s typical of an album that only needs a scratch of its seemingly glossy surface to unearth a myriad of contorted touchstones and reference points that’ve fermented beneath it. Thematically there’s an anxious sense to the record, with tracks often balancing above a quiet sense of unerring tension even at their most bombastic. Moving Too is the result of an existential doubt that hit Silvester while out cycling, with the outro refrain "it's not enough to die you also have to be forgotten" a take on something Samuel Beckett once said. These worries are echoed on the album’s closing track What A Year, which borrows a lot of lines from the late drag performer and fashion designer Dorian Corey including the grimly defiant "you're gonna leave your mark somewhere in this world just by getting through it”. Those clouds offer a counter point to We Used To Be Friends, but then isn’t that what great pop albums do? Technology + Teamwork undoubtedly love the craft of the hook and the song, but they always position themselves left of centre, prepared to scuff things up, pull something out of shape or manipulate something to leave it sounding warped. Much like their friendship, nothing here is particularly linear – and it’s all the better for it. Nico Motte returns to Antinote with his second album ‘The Missing Person’ after his 2015 introductory EP ‘Rheologia’, 2016’s ‘Life Goes On If You Are Lucky’ LP, and 2017’s ‘18 Rays’ EP collaboration with Zaltan and Raphaël Top-Secret. Truly though, Motte never really left, having been the aesthetic eye for each Antinote artwork since day dot. His visual style would prove pivotal to the labels decade long success in the leftfield music underground. But here Motte shows us once again that his skills don’t solely lie in graphic art.

A bandcamp review of Motte’s first LP reads ‘French late seventies synth-laden electronics of avant garde film soundtracks with a touch of early house, minimalism and Balearic…’
‘The Missing Person’ holds true to that balearic core while adding flavours of lollipop dub, sugary synth and Martin Denny-esque Exotica. Synth-Pop from a tropical island. Perhaps The Missing Person here is the album’s protagonist themself, having sailed away from the trivialities of urban life to lay on a white sand beach somewhere warm, drinking fresh coconut water and not giving a shit. A laissez-faire attitude.

Underneath the cool sonic facade of ‘The Missing Person’ Motte effortlessly meanders through pastel sounds drawn from an extensive collection of vintage synthesisers, drum machines and effects units at Synth City. The result: a smooth textured continuous listen of an ear off to somewhere far… island life perhaps? perhaps urban life in need of reprieve.

Angelo is an LP, named after a car, featuring nine songs Brijean have crafted and carried with them through a period of profound change, loss, and relocation. It finds percussionist/singer Brijean Murphy and multi-instrumentalist/producer Doug Stuart processing the impossible the only way they know how: through rhythm and movement. The months surrounding the acclaimed release of Feelings, their full-length Ghostly International debut in 2021 which celebrated tender self-reflection and new possibilities, rang bittersweet with the absence of touring and the sudden passing of Murphy’s father and both of Stuart’s parents. In a haze of heartache, the duo left the

Bay Area to be near family, resetting in four cities in under two years. Their to-go rig became their traveling studio and these tracks, along with Angelo, became their few constants. Whereas Feelings formed over collaborative jams with friends, Angelo’s sessions presented Murphy and Stuart a chance to record at their most intimate, “to get us out of our grief and into our bodies,” says Murphy. They explored new moods and styles, reaching for effervescent dance tempos and technicolor backdrops, vibrant hues in contrast to their more somber human experiences. Angelo beams with positivity and creative renewal — a resourceful, collective answer to “what happens now?”

Angelo the car is a 1981 Toyota Celica they got off Craigslist during their first stint in Los Angeles, where Murphy and Stuart have since settled. “Such a bro-y, ‘80s dude car, it’s been super fun to drive around in a new town,” Murphy says. “He’s older than us, he’s a classic, he’s got a story.” It is a spiritual vehicle with a cinematic appeal, first dropping them off in an alleyway for the scene-setting intro, “Which Way To The Club.” The question is quickly resolved by “Take A Trip” as a cruising bassline mingles with crowd sounds, hand-claps, cuíca hiccups, whip-cracks, even a horse neigh. Brijean have found some club on this cross-dimensional trip — the kind of

imagined space or chamber within one’s self capable of “shifting a fraction of who you are,” says Murphy. They wrote the track with the simple intention to be “as free as we could be,” adds Stuart, likening the flip on the B section to a realm unlocked: ”What if the world changed completely? You open the door to a new room.”

Next is “Shy Guy,” a motivational anthem for the wallflowers among us. Murphy sets up the daydream: “We are in junior high, we’re on the dance floor, what’s going down, who is dancing, who is not, how are we gonna make them dance?” The narrator, the MC, hypes up the room as conga-driven rhythms bounce between languid synth and guitar lines. “Show me how to move...I feel something...I know you feel it too,” Murphy sings sweetly, calling back to the opening lines of Feelings, and this time the audience chants it back. It is easy to picture Brijean performing this one — something they only got to do a handful of times until more recently, opening shows for Khruangbin and Washed Out, an experience they found informative. Murphy explains, “It was inspiring to be out there and let loose more. To see how people can expand their expression on stage gave me more liberty with how I viewed my musicianship. My role for so long was to be a backup percussionist, so why would I ever leave the drums, you know? But then after playing all these runs, you see these artists and realize you can, you have permission.”

“Angelo” and “Ooo La La” deliver the danciest stretch in Brijean’s catalog to date. The title track adopts a deep house pulse replete with strings, hi-hats, and kicks. The latter opts for a funkier groove that foregoes verses in favor of warbled hums and extended breakdowns. What follows is perhaps the duo’s dreamiest run, a comedown initiated with the honey-hued interlude “Colors” drifting into “Where Do We Go?”, a tropicália reverie where Murphy contemplates the passage of time and space.

It all culminates in “Caldwell’s Way,” a fond farewell to their Bay Area community — “a part of my life that I knew couldn’t come back,” says Murphy. Above shimmering organ sounds, lush strings, and the birdcall of their former neighborhood, she wistfully articulates the uncertainty of moving on by remembering the characters dear to them. There’s the wisdom of their neighbor, Santos, who refused payment when helping them move out: “I’d rather have 100 friends than 100 dollars.” And the song’s namesake, Benjamin Caldwell Brown, a friend and club night cohort for many years. “I’m only miles away, maybe I’m just feeling lonely,” the line resigns to warm nostalgia, and “Nostalgia” runs the closing credits to this healing and transportive collection.

Fresh from DOTT’s “Puppy Luv EP” and Rudoh’s “Vinland In Space EP”, Jugaar Records is back and this time with a full-length, double-pack vinyl, and digital compilation bringing together friends from Asia and Europe. The record is testament to the healthy place the Asian electronic music landscape finds itself in and those intrepid producers who are willing to explore new scenes and sounds. It's energy-crew from the off - with UK beatmaker Joe Koshin’s “Astro Wax”, a techy electro work-out that conjures images of futuristic cityscapes and dense urban mazes. Up next, Pakistan-born and label co-boss Rudoh maintains the electro vibe with cut-up hip-hop vocals sprinkled on top of a pulsating bassline in his “KOF”. His records are being picked up by global tastemakers from Emerald to Roza Terenzi to DJ Masda. Don’t sleep!

Moving to the B-side, German-born, London mainstay Voigtmann shuffles and deals a steppy drum pattern and intricate synth-work, with a bassline drenched in that particular brand of funk to get the party going even at the most ungodly hour. Observatory resident Nic Ford closes this disk with an ambient excursion that summons spiritual rave voices from the deep laid atop a lilting synth loop. It’s typical of his ambient performances which have gained much notoriety in Vietnam of late.

Opening the second record is Egyptian gem Hassan Abou Alam whose recent outings on Naïve and Banoffee Pies have gained him much and well-deserved attention. Here, his “Gloom” combines twinkling IDM modes with heavy sub bass experiments primed to stop the most idiosyncratic dancefloors in their tracks. Up on C2, the Version, 3024 and Phonica Records graduate Yak adds breaks to the equation. His “Disk Full” brings together a haunting gated synth and razor-sharp beat programming to devastating effect. Melbourne based, Salt Mines Records honcho Shedbug concludes this side with his hopeful “A Lil Piece” whose soaring synth line will hit all the right emotional chords at all the right times.

On the final side Bangkokian Chalo reminds us why he is one of the masters of this increasingly fully formed scene. His Depth Charge is a muggy dub-laden, electro jam capable of rattling the weightiest sound systems in some of the most twisted raves at the end of some of the darkest Sois. The record is completed by New Delhi linchpin and Boxout.fm resident Monophonik, whose techno/electro “Tumbi” journeys out of the night into a euphoric sunrise moment that will be setting the dancefloors alight come festival season.

Evocative and spooky contemporary prog. Meine U Teksi has absolutely nailed it to fetishist levels. It sounds like the synths were the only thing keeping the castle warm the night this was recorded.
The whole record it's made even more unnerving by the fact that the 4th track doesn't exist.

ENARCHY is the debut album by Leipzig-based producer and singer Maria die Ruhe. It is the result of a deep and thorough look the
artist took into both her own inner workings and the world around her. In 14 tracks, she explores different types of energy,
oscillating between head and heart. Final destination of this sometimes painful process of self- exploration is the embodiment of
her own power and creativity; the realization, that she manifests her role as catalyst, healer, and fighter for freedom and equality
by reporting on her experiences. These songs are about nothing less than that. And you can also dance to them.
In a musical sense, Maria surpasses herself compared to previous releases. She is bolder, more explorative and dissolves genre
boundaries. Acoustic instruments like the cello and the piano unite playfully with electronic beats. Her expressive voice speaks and
sings from the lowest lows to the loftiest heights. Her self-disclosing lyrics communicate the deepest messages of the soul. One can
tell right away: something is at stake here, this is about a real human living through something real, and now reporting from the
front lines of the human experience.
With lines like „Things are changing all the fucking time“ (ENARCHY) she posts a reminder for the current zeitgeist and the resulting
global uncertainty. „Some things need to be destroyed before they can heal“ is a demand for openness towards change, even if it is
challenging, requires energy, and leaves behind some scars.
In ART IS THE ONLY REAL TRANSLATION OF LIVING FOR ME, Maria uses sentences like „I’ve been trying to please you, I got headaches
and I still don’t fit“ to express her desperation with existing structures of injustice and the lack of livability of the artist lifestyle.
„Ah, you’re an artist - and what do you do professionally?“ Everyone loves music and art! When, o when, will the understanding
follow that there need to be people who make this art as a central part of their lives?
Frustration takes turns with hope and a growing acceptance of the self. In EQUALISTA, Maria discusses antiquated conditions like the
inequality between the sexes in a kind of manifesto, with a simple proposal for solution: „Let’s both be selfish and raise our
energies, to create a whole world with all the things we need.“
In WE BELONG TO NEVER, Maria sings about the everyday horror of toxic relationships. Lines like „Disengagement and rage, I’ve become such a slave.“ express the despair of the emptiness that results from a lack of affection. She also describes treacherous
narcissistic manipulation: „You cut me small just to feel tall.“
In SKIN, she confesses: „I’m not as enough as everyone else.“ and describes the long and painful way from rejecting her own body
to loving herself unconditionally. „I hate what I feel, while I pretend to be free“ means she doesn’t want to be reduced down to
her body, doesn’t want to be seen as an instagrammable, thoroughly designed product; she wants to be acknowledged as an
individual.
In LOST, she poses a question that many are currently forced to ask themselves: „What do we do with all this solitude?“ Maybe
making use of the reclusion by exploring the shadow self. „Can you cope with the truth?“
The conclusion: energy is being freed up through the means of self-experience and living through the personal darkness -
ENARCHY. The realization: every human being is self-determined and should simply do what they feel. It is everyone’s right to
choose their own life’s path. Here, intuition serves as a signpost. This is both feminine and strong.
ENARCHY celebrates an embodied anarchy by working through the personal shadow and the genuine, healthy integration of the
struggle survived - not as a destructive rebellion, but as a testament of shameless, joyful self-empowerment.
„In the end, I want to be alive, because in reality, I’m free.“

Native to Sweden, the Manchester based artist Bobo has set out to free himself from the terrestrial bonds of earth and explore the ephemeral sounds of the outer atmosphere.
Leaning into this stylistic predisposition, Contact takes characteristic elements from the worlds of dubstep, ambient, breaks, electro and techno to create bold, cinematic textures and otherworldly imagery.

Quinoa Experience, the Madrid based collective, is eager to unveil the long-anticipated first release of their new label – Quinoa Cuts - entitled “The Nutritionist’s Guide to the Galaxy, Vol. I”.

The intention behind the split E.P. is to produce a versatile, nutritious and invigorating record through the juxtaposition of the two sides.

On the A we find a ‘’Vitamin’’ side, where fresh, subtle and deep

grooves will stimulate the listeners’ appetite to get them levitating, introspectively. While the B-side, the ‘’Protein’’, is best saved for climatic dancefloor moments and muscle-building workouts.

Emerging from Tunisia, Pan-J serves us the vitamin supplements. Solid and funked-up basslines with hefty doses of swing amount to sunny and radiant minimal house productions. Colorful and engaging, his tracks will dissipate all traces of fatigue from your body. Two ritual-ready tunes with a proggy approach that don’t neglect moments of suspense.

Flip it and we find the protein powders by a Ukrainian artist Roma Khropko, co-founder of Criminal Practice – a prominent Kiev DJ collective and label. His side speeds ahead with playful organ chords, subversive solar rave fits with killer samples, sweeping percussion shifts and delightful switch-ups that send the record straight into orbit.”

Flexi Cuts is pleased to introduce Lazy Snail's new EP, Lucky Life. A truly valuable work, the result of time and research, where Alessandro (aka Lazy Snail) wanted to explore different sides of electronic music of an inner and mature nature at the same time.

Lucky Life is like going up to the attic and finding something precious to take care of; it sums up a long musical journey, from the past to the present, in five tracks full of meaning.

The first track, Remèrcier, is a tribute to 'dance' music, an intense talk over a hypnotic moog bass.

This is followed by Vagrants, dedicated to his hometown (Cudgnola), where we find an 808 rhythmic patterns as involving and beating as a walk in the rain.

The B-side opens with One Place, which features a vocal stunning collaboration with Flicker Fox, who brings the track into a techno universe with percussion and intimate echoes.

Climbin' High was inspired by Alessandro's passion and admiration for the mountains. He composed it imagining an extreme climb, and immediately afterwards an equally dangerous but necessary descent. Just like in reality.

The record ends with No Evil, an ambient-flavoured gem that opens on the climax in a riot of expert snares and synths.

Welcome to Dazion’s Grooveboxxx – a maxi-sized love letter to The Hague’s 80s and 90s club scene crafted with minimal tools and loaded with vibe. It’s no coincidence it arrives on Dekmantel, a label with its own roots in the same Dutch city’s electronic music culture.

Dazion is The Hague’s Cris Kuhlen, previously spotted releasing on Second Circle, Safe Trip and Animals Dancing. He cut his teeth clubbing and working at long-since closed clubs like Eau, described in Kuhlen’s own words as, “clubs with blocks to dance on, lazers, decorations, crazy extravert sic parties.”

In capturing the spirit of Eau and the other formative parties of his youth, Kuhlen limited himself to just one machine to make his longest work to date – the Roland MC-303 Groovebox. While these entry level units from the mid-90s had stripped down functionality in the wider spectrum of studio gear, they contained all the iconic Roland sounds in a Rompler style, giving the user access to everything necessary to make raw, immediate club tracks without requiring an entire studio’s worth of hardware.

The brash gear of choice set the tone for a record of rough, ready and playful jams which end up more sophisticated than you’d expect from such limited means. ‘La DS’ jacks with a freaky, bleep techno intensity, while ‘Kimberly & Nance Backstage Rehearsal’ rides an angular groove tooled to inspire the weirdest dance moves of the night. Every track is named in reference to a particular nightspot, a hazy memory or moment from Kuhlen’s formative raving years.

This is the sound of Dazion having the time of his life. But for all the cheekiness, the tracks stand up both as nods to halcyon days and relevant workouts for the sweatiest parties in the here and now. Through the alias Trascend∆nce, coined in 2021, Riccardo Buccirossi obtains an alchemical mixture of techno, electro and acid, which are precisely the strands from which he draws inspiration for the debut album of Havalon Records founded by Alessandro Di Fulvio and Jacopo. In "Formula", a title in line with the alchemical world, he unrolls a red-hot metal spiral on a soft and malleable beat that melts like butter under the desert sun. "Reaction" moves on similar coordinates through TB-303 barbed wire and bleepy squares in the background.

Finally, the left setting of "Creation" is followed by "Havok" which summarizes the Detroit lesson by intertwining it with vibrant and virtuous acid veins.

Hypnohouse strikes back! After a short delay due to the (ongoing) war in Ukraine - the label’s 4th release is finally available for sale. This time around, Hypnohouse offers four solid tunes from four Ukrainian musicians of various backgrounds.

The A side jumpstarts the dance engine with two wicked earth shakers from Yaroslav M. (a.k.a AC130) & Victor B. (a.k.a Vybukhivka). These two locals share a distinct flair and style that will leave listeners pumping from side to side for a strong while.

The B side demonstrates an after-hour, alternate reality excursion through hypnosis with two warping grooves from Vlad S. (a.k.a Hopper Field) and Count Orlok (DJ 69 & AC130). Both artists are highly capable of inducing their listeners into an uncanny state of consciousness through music - don’t miss!

Belgian Kristof "(DJ) 4T4" Michiels has been around for a while, but this is only his second album under this name. It's practically impossible to categorize, since it holds elements of all eras of dance music. It switches effortlessly from new wave to electro, from punk funk to deep house, without ever feeling concocted. This album's got it all, but the main factor these 10 tracks share is soul. You can feel this wasn't thought up in lab, they're are organic sounds made with nothing but love for music, which grants Union Escapade a timeless feel. DJ, producer, label boss and soundtrack composer, Hannah Holland has never been one to tie herself to mediums. Now, on her debut studio album Tectonic, released on PRAH Recordings on September 17th, Holland pours her career to date into one outstanding and diverse body of work.

Hannah Holland has long been a mainstay of London’s queer and alternative club scene. Her eclectic DJ sets have taken her from Berlin’s infamous Berghain, NYC with friends The Carry Nation, Glastonbury’s NYC Downlow and legendary parties Adonis and Trailer Trash. She’s remixed the likes of Goldfrapp, The Knife and Metronomy and run her label Batty Bass for over ten years.

Afrobot cuts up four wavy 80's tracks for darker times! A1 is a sleazy minimal wave banger of Ensemble Pittoresque, recorded in The Hague in '84, now tripled in duration! After that we continue our trip from France to New York ending in the UK on the B-side. First track is a mix of a 7' b-side and a wrong speeder and a slowly pounding track with a twist is the one to finish with. Comes with an insert and a stamp both drawn by Frank Koedood.

Together this partnership from The Netherlands and Italy form Light Cycles, a trio raised on sci-fi sound tracks and smouldering synth anthems.
