“I composed ‘For You’ with the desire to get back to all the musical sensations I've experienced in 50 years; to translate all that makes the universe, emotion and sensuality about Disco Music. To do so, I chose to record with real musicians (pianist, string and brass sections, etc.) that were playing live, while taking the best of nowadays's recording and production techniques. I really made this creation which is a musical voyage For You. Enjoy!” - Marc Cerrone

Following on from releases on Mary Go Black, NovaMute and Sleaze, Charlotte De Witte continues her streak of stripped back techno on this latest EP for Suara Music.
The Heart of Mine EP leads with the dark stomper 'This'. A simple and very effective twisted workout. The title track 'Heart of Mine', is typical of her trademark style. Pounding kicks, stark synths, and snatches of uplifting vocal. The EP closes with the Lewis Fautzi remix of 'This'. It's atmospheric and crunching sound rounds of this solid techno release.

In 1983, Chateau, a San Francisco based boogie funk band, won the KRE Radio Hot Fun In The Sun Battle of the Bands in Mosswood Park, Oakland. As a prize, they received $5000 (approximately 8 hours) of studio time and a pressing run of 200 45s.Chateau included Alan Ross on lead vocals and percussion, singer Damara 'Candy' Stepney, and Kevin Dailey who sang and played saxophone, bass, and guitar.

Melvin Jones was on horn and keys, Dennis Knepper played keyboard, Frank Lemon played drums, Lemon's cousin Michael Clark played rhythm guitar, Doug Hearne played guitar and Bill Ortiz (from Santana) contributed trumpet parts.Chateau only released one 7-inch single in 1984, but to this day 'Feelings' is, arguably so, one of the most sought-after West Coast slices of funk.Jerome Derradji and Past Due Records are proud to officially reissue this incredible slice of boogie. Since its inception in 2016, Cornucopia has been a musical project synonymous with creativity and depth. The name itself, rooted in ancient mythology, symbolizes abundance and prosperity. Today, it evokes the same spirit- a metaphorical horn overflowing with ideas and innovation. This ethos emerges in the latest release, the fifth offering from the new label run by Guy J.

The release opens with Remember Me, a mellow yet groove-infused track tailor-made for sunset moments by the sea. Built on hypnotic layers, it evolves into an atmospheric journey that blends joy, subtle ecstasy, and vibrant energy. In an age of musical hyperproduction, Remember Me is a reason alone to celebrate Cornucopia's return. Yet,it is only the beginning; the unexpected euphoria unfolds as the release progresses.

Seasoned partygoers often categorize tracks by their vibe-some are designed for the night, while others are for the early hours. The title track, Early Morning, is an ode to the latter, crafted to accompany the most dedicated dancers as they greet the dawn. Re-release of the ‘88 rave house classic 'The Real Life' sampling Queen, Simple Minds, Prince and Scarface here perfectly formed Oppy Mix. Used copies still sell up to £50 with very few cropping up on the market so this official remastered reissue will be a welcome sight to many.

Flipped with the collectable housey / garage crossover gem 'So Where Are You' harnessing the raw vocal power of Kevin Williams over a tough house rhythm. Both the Hashish Dub and Vocal Mix are included on this release.

Spread across three 2LPs and 3CDs Next Wave Acid Punx TROIS captures a moment whose influence can still be heard reverberating around clubland today. With the nascent rave scene obliterating boundaries, this was a moment where the darker, harder industrial electronic sounds of the mid 1980s were crashing headfirst into the ecstatic wave that was washing over clubland creating thrilling juxtapositions. Get ready to embark on a hypnotic journey as Full Circle presents the highly anticipated re-release of Danny J Lewis' iconic track, "Spend The Night," accompanied by a brand new Archie Hamilton remix that brings a fresh new perspective to the classic garage anthem. Not to mention not one but two mesmerizing dub versions by H-Man and DJL VIP. These carefully crafted dubs take the original masterpiece to new heights, offering unique perspectives on the timeless classic.

The aptly named "Momentum" is the label's first EP from Decoder, who recently released an album to wide acclaim on Planet X. Spread across 6 tracks, the EP is drenched in psychedelia as it effortlessly moves through different moods and aesthetics to take dancers through the night.

"Flowing" begins the EP with stripped-back percussion and moody atmospherics, transporting the listener into a trance. "Photon" takes a nostalgic trip back to the 90s, featuring a 909 workout that's heavily processed with intensifying effects.

"Strawbs" presents what might be the most captivating track of the EP, characterized by its rolling, hands-in-the-air vibe that persists throughout the song. To conclude the vinyl, "Dyslexic" is intricate and enigmatic in all thedelightful ways. Mallets intermittently appear and disappear as the 909 maintains a steady rhythm. "Dyslexics untie!"

King Street Sounds continues to reissue house classics from their legendary back catalogue, this time releasing a second VA sampler featuring four deep soulful house tracks.This compilation showcases dancefloor fillers from notable artists such as Dennis Ferrer, Lil Louis, Masters at Work, Mood II Swing, and Kimara Lovelace. These underground anthems have stood the test of time and still sound as fresh as when they were first released.House music enthusiasts can once again come together and take the opportunity to own these incredible tracks on this fantastic EP.
