Embark on a timeless musical journey: "Overture", one of the most iconic works from the golden era of progressive trance, is making a grand return.
Released in 1999, this Dutch masterpiece quickly established itself as a quintessential classic, starting in Belgium before taking dance floors across the globe by storm. A resounding success, played not only by club and trance DJs but also by those with a broader musical range, "Overture" is a track with a unique aura. Over 25 years after its release, it continues to electrify retro parties and remains an elegant, timeless standard.
To celebrate this legendary track, we are proud to present a special reissue, elevated by an exceptional remix from the talented Maxim Lany, the mind behind the iconic hit "Renaissance". The Belgian DJ and producer, renowned for reimagining classics with his modern touch, delivers a 2025 version that will resonate with both nostalgic fans and a new generation of listeners.
Maxim Lany shares:
"Reworking this epic classic has been an exciting creative journey. Inspired by the depth of the vocals and the power of the original strings, I set out to transform this track into a version worthy of 2025's dance floors while staying true to its timeless essence."
This exclusive vinyl release is a must-have for collectors, progressive trance enthusiasts, and DJs seeking a centerpiece for their collection. And as always, the Serious Beats touch ensures the original has been fully remastered to deliver an incredible sound, especially for vinyl purists.
Don't miss this chance to relive history while looking to the future. Act fast before it's too late!
Back once again with the MYEDITS master. An audacious single sided weapon from the Moxy Edits crew, blending whomping speed garage basslines, a classic vocal of supreme stature and a slick, skipping beat to produce another slice of dancefloor destroying gold.
The track first appeared when Darius Syrossian dropped it at the Brooklyn Timewarp after party b2b with Seth Troxler, and lead to people scrambling for a track I.D when videos emerged. The week after it was one of the standout tunes at the WeAreFstvl Mexico festival.
Embark on a rhythmic journey with our latest vinyl release, F4E006 from Frieds 4 Ever. This 180-gram vinyl features two tracks recorded at 45 RPM, each a unique exploration into the heart of African musical traditions. On the A side, lose yourself in the enchanting beats of “Touareg.” Inspired by the nomadic Tuareg people, this track weaves a tapestry of tribal rhythms and modern sounds, capturing the spirit of the African desert. Let the music carry you across the sands with its hypnotic groove. Flipping to the B side, discover the pulsating rhythms of “Afreekah.” This track takes you deep into the heart of the continent, blending traditional influences with contemporary flair. Immerse yourself in the vibrant sounds of Africa as “Afreekah” unfolds, echoing the diverse musical landscapes of the continent. F4E006 is more than a record; it’s an exploration of cultural richness through music. Limited in its release, this vinyl promises a premium auditory experience, where the weight of each beat is felt in the depth of the 180-gram vinyl. Spin it, feel it, and let the rhythms of Africa resonate through your speakers.
The latest transmission on Samurai tunes into half-time intensity with a psychedelic edge courtesy of leading French practitioner Vardae. Applying techno hypnotism and cinematic atmospheres to his snaking beat constructions, the Lyon-based artist delivers a pitch-perfect exercise in mystical meditation that follows a natural path from the Ancestral Voices LP.
Since first emerging around 2017, Vardae has been determined to establish a sound unbound by genre restrictions. To date he's successfully moved between cult labels such as Non Series and Ooda while pivoting from linear 4/4 to crooked broken beat without disrupting his immersive, finely sculpted production style.
Alongside his releases, Vardae is also responsible for the ouroboros festival that takes place every year in central France. Last summer, after the dancefloor closed on the final night of the the event, fabled Dutch transcendental ambient group Son Of Chi made an acoustic concert around the campfire that cast a spell over everyone present. This experience formed the inspirational basis for Vardae's new EP, drawing on the instinctive power of insistent rhythm and the spiritual intrigue that lies behind subtly dissonant tones - shadows cast by refined, restrained synthesis flickering in the imagined light of the flames.
From the rattle of timbale on 'The Light Motion' to the laser-focused ripples that charge through 'Voices Of Dispossession', Vardae bends and shapes his drum work with exacting intention across this EP. Treading the line between 85 and 170BPM, he approaches fierce peaks in his tracks with an exacting patience, building to the arp-soaked climax of 'Flaming As A Cloud' and its ecstatic, melodic crescendo.
Proudly individual and drawing from the deepest of musical experiences, Vardae's latest statement promises similarly profound moments when these pieces come into contact with the right souls and the right sound in the right setting.
Manzo Edits Vol. 5 trots proudly back into the ring, tail high and hooves tapping, with four fresh cuts to leave the dancefloor gasping for hay. "Rosy" opens the stampede with groovy springtime melancholy: Manzo is lovesick, staring across the fence at a cow he just can’t forget. "Amare Moto" slinks in with sultry swagger, a slow and sexy jam built to get the hips moving. On the flip, "You Have To Cry Tonight" struts in with crisp Italo drums and more attitude than a Saturday night stallion. We close with "Bring Me", an alpine rave of cowbells and yodeling, ready for the pasture.

We are back with another chapter in our ongoing series of unearthing smooth vibes from all over the world, this time we go back to the FUTURE for you with: THE SUNSET MANIFESTO Volume 2. After a five year break mainly concentrating on the late 70s/early 80s Westcoast Soul/Yacht/AOR sound, we finally dive deep into the modern world of our beloved sister-label Too Slow To Disco NEO (for the third time after 2018s TSTD NEO - En France and 2020s The Sunset Manifesto excursions). But of course it wasn't a real 5 year break since the first Sunset Manifesto compilation, as in the meantime we also released a few digital TSTD Neo singles, and - more importantly - our "Too Slow To Disco NEO - FM" playlist on spotify (handcurated by Dj Supermarkt every week and now hosting more than 1500 tracks of mellow, modern sunshine vibes) was growing steadily and becoming a new, important fixpoint in the TSTD musical universe. TSTD NEO is the outlet Dj Supermarkt is using to unearth modern laidback, smooth, sunny slow disco vibes with a soulful Westcoast/Balearic touch. For him TSTD always has been about a laidback vibe/feeling, not a certain time period in musical history. And that sunny Westcoast vibe we dug out on those traditional TSTD compilations has become a huge influence to so many modern artists. So it makes sense that we present the cream of new slo/mo NuDisco/Sunset Disco/Daytime Disco acts in the TSTD format, a luxurious compilation, with artists from all across the globe: Not only from the two homelands of that modern slow disco sound, Los Angeles/California and France, but also from Beijing, Montreal, Mexico, London, New York, Stockholm, Rotterdam… the moon, you name it! This music is more a state of mind, a feeling, then a geographical thing. We are happy and really excited to annouce the following passengers are on board with exclusive tracks: Poolside, Woolfy, Prep & Eddie Chacon, Turbotito, Young Gun Silver Fox, Lovetempo, Kimchii, Goodvibes Sound a.m.m.
The beginning of a long journey in search of all the small details we have been fortunate enough to encounter and collaborate with. This is the genesis of Various Details, the first music series that Small Details Recordings is releasing, exclusively on vinyl. The idea is to create a space where different artists can recount their research through music. So, it's time to start the music and hear all the details and nuances that these artists have to offer.
Brera Groove returns with its third vinyl release, Brera Groove 003, a various artists that bridges early 80's Mediterranean disco with a warm and vibrant touch. The Black Hole EP continues in the vein of recent Maximum Minimum releases with some hi-octane techno from Ciuciek, Dilks, Luca Pointzero, and Pest Control - all acid artists showing what they can do without their trademark 303 blitzkrieg. Ciuciek pounds the st out on 'Lost In Underground' whilst Dilks and Luca Pointzero create some driving Acid Techno (but without the 303) on their respective tracks 'Blatant Fkery' and 'Virus', whilst Pest Control whips up a stunning old school rave homage on the brilliant 'Nomads Of The Sky'.
