Sexy Sushi is made up of Herr Silver & Rebeka Warrior, "Marre Marre Marre” was remastered in 2021 by Tony Chauvin. Originally released on CD only in 2007, this album is a medley of our least successful tracks.

Inaugurating the New Year as he means to go on, German record producer and live act Monolink returns with his brand new single, Mesmerized. From the very first note, Mesmerized draws listeners into a world of contrasts. Deep longing is intertwined with stirring instrumentation, as Steffen Linck’s pensive lyrics glide over layers of pulsating percussion and moody synths, creating a track that’s equally suited for moonlit dancefloors and reflective moments. It’s a journey that balances vulnerability and groove, inviting listeners to get lost in its hypnotic embrace.
On the B-Side Monolink presents a beautiful acoustic reinterpretation of the track. He takes listeners on a thought-provoking sonic journey with this acoustic version. The hauntingly beautiful rendition strips away the electronic layers of the original to highlight the raw emotion in Monolink’s soulful vocals and acoustic instrumentation, breathing new life into the already poignant narrative.

Next up on Cosa Vostra, we’re thrilled to welcome our dear friend IAMBP, a rising force in the Parisian electronic scene, for her debut EP Heartware. DJ, producer, and label owner, IAMBP has been charting her own course with passion and authenticity, a journey we’ve proudly followed since her very first steps.

With Heartware, she opens a new chapter: four tracks driven by emotion, where the sensuality of synth-pop and synthwave intertwines with vibrant electro rhythms. Marcello Giordani is back in the spotlight with his new E.P. Dynamic, released on the new label Tutti Pazzi. The E.P. features four tracks that faithfully reflect his sonic vision, ranging from Italo to Electro/Disco — elevated to the next level while always staying true to his identity. FM Attack, Dynamic, and Italo Genesis authentically recreate the early '80s Italo Disco sound, particularly around 1983, while Gliding caters to more refined tastes with Cosmic and Cinematic tones, also nodding to fans of Library music.

Double Je is Hypnotique’s third release on Bordello A Parigi. Following the successes of La Pénombre and Solitude, the trio of Sergio Mesa (IAMNOTAROBOT), David and Maia Jornet have reconvened for a smouldering three tracker. Vocals scale soaring synthlines in the title piece. Melodies dip and swoop like birds in flight. A beat throbs as Maia’s lyrics sail ever higher in this tale of misguided romance and impossible answers. The instrumental version allows the track’s intricate synthwork to take centre stage. Drums snap that bit tighter, gentle pads lapping against the pulsating basslines and addictive hooks. Tempos drop on the flip, the B-Side being dedicated to “Dark.” Slender keys rise above a steady kick before a rumbling bass takes hold. Vocals take spoken word form, their message and mood shifting from resignation to resilience and then resolve as the track becomes ever more emboldened. A truly fantastic return from a uniquely talented group.

E23 founding member Mavanov worked diligently on delivering you eight varying tracks perfectly suited for working out on the dance floor and to find nuance and reflection at home or on the go. You will find hints of EBM and Detroit, with notes of cold wave and synthpop. A nostalgic journey into the future delivered on a beautifully crafted 12” limited to 200 copies.

Wolfsheim were a synthpop duo of Markus Reinhardt (music) and Peter Heppner (lyrics and vocals) from Hamburg, Germany founded in 1987. 1991 single “The Sparrow And The Nightingales” produced by Carlos Peron of Yello. Reinhardt says the lyrics were inspired by ‘onomatopoeic tension’.

Hailing from Barcelona they are an eclectic, discerning form of contemporary industrial music, deploying compulsive minimal synth and primal polyrhythms, as well as uniquely reconstrued elements of post-punk & EBM. An artistic identity that embraces influence yet eschews compromise, changing flavors, but not essence, from release to release. Their music has been shared or praised by Iggy Pop, Cosey Fanni Tutti (Throbbing Gristle, Chris & Cosey), Geoff Barrow (Portishead, Beak), among many others.
This LP shows Dame Area most melodic side, bringing back experimentation to the genres of minimal synth, synthpop or EBM: subverting them from the inside, finding new ways to innovate, giving us unexpected twists along the ride.
