USM are proud to announce The George Harrison Vinyl Collection LP box set featuring all of George Harrison's solo studio albums in one collection for the very first time to commemorate the musician's birthday.

The vinyl box set includes all twelve of George's studio albums with exact replicas of the original release track listing and artwork. Also included in the box set are George's classic live album Live In Japan (2LP), and two 12' single picture discs of When We Was Fab' and Got My Mind Set On You'.

All the discs are 180-gram heavyweight vinyl and are housed in a high-quality two-piece rigid slipcase box with lenticular front cover. The original analogue master tapes were used for the new re-masters and were cut at the legendary Capitol studios to ensure exceptional audio quality throughout.

Released less than a year after The Idiot, Lust For Life is a return to the sloppy, sleazy, blues-y, swagger of the Stooges. Though the record is, again produced by David Bowie, he takes much more of a backseat musically, allowing for Iggy Pop to take center stage in his return to form. His best solo album and an absolute classic from this legend. Reissued on limited edition yellow vinyl.

The ozric's 1989 first true album reissued on double heavyweight vinyl for first time. One of the most influential bands to emerge from the UK's festival scene, the Ozrics layer ambient and ethereal landscapes with freeform dub trips, incredible rave grooves and psychedelic progressive rock.

For over 30 years, the Ozrics have experienced the vicissitudes of the rock and roll life. The band has flourished through a number of line-up changes, spawned several side projects, created their own record label, scored a hit record and sold over a million albums world-wide. And yet, the basic motivation behind the band's existence has never wavered. Their signature blend of hippy aesthetics and raver electronics with spiraling guitars, textured waves of keyboard and midi samplers, and super-groovy bass and drum rhythms connects fans of progressive rock, psychedelia and DJ culture.

'Pungent Effulgent', the Ozric's first 'official' album after self-releasing material on cassettes, is the first produced to label standards and retains their explorative style based on improvisations whilst performing live. The vinyl features a bonus live performance of the 19 minute roller "Ayervedism" originally taken from the Ozric's self-made cassettes sold at gigs and festivals. The band's early influences from peers such as Hawkwind, Gong and Pink Floyd are evident in this transformative release.

Procol Harum was a big contributor to the development of symphonic rock, and by extension, progressive rock. During the 50th year anniversary of the debut album Procol Harum, both this and the second album release are reissued by Music On Vinyl.

Shine On Brightly is the second studio album by English rock band Procol Harum. The title of the epic In Held 'Twas in I' is an acrostic, taking the first word from the first movement as well as the first word from a verse later in the movement as well as the first word from each of the three successive movements as shown in the track listing.

Shine On Brightly was influential in the development of progressive rock by breaking pop and rock music standards with the 17-minute epic In Held 'Twas in I', which marked the beginning of the lengthy progressive rock suites that would occur later in the 1970s.

Procol Harum was a big contributor to the development of symphonic rock, and by extension, progressive rock.

Procol Harum is the eponymous debut studio album by the English rock band. Originally released in 1967 it now celebrates its 50th year anniversary. Though the album was recorded on multi-track, it was issued as mono-only in the U.K.

All songs were originally credited written to Gary Brooker (music) and Keith Reid (lyrics), except Repent Walpurgis' written by Matthew Fisher, after works by French organist Charles-Marie Widor and German composer Johann Sebastian Bach.
Procol Harum's lyricist Keith Reid told Songfacts that the music for Conquistador' was written before the lyrics. He added that this was unusual as 99 out of 100' of the band's songs, back then, were written the words first, and then were set to music'. The track Salad Days (Are Here Again)' is credited as being from the film Separation.

"Different Class" was the fifth album by Pulp and their commercial breakthrough. "Different Class" went to #1 in the UK album charts in 1995 at the height of Britpop with the classic track "Common People" reaching #2 on the UK singles chart. The album explores sex and class with Jarvis Cocker's biting, witty lyrics taking a perfect snapshot of mid 90s English suburban and working class life. A stone cold Britpop classic reissued on mint color vinyl.

Recorded live on W.A.S.P.'s 1997 KFD Tour, this album captures the triumphant reunion of the heart and soul of W.A.S.P. - Blackie Lawless & Chris Holmes - and serves as a reminder that they continue to be a major force in heavy rock, with millions of albums sold worldwide since their inception in 1982. The overdrive energy and sonic devastation of W.A.S.P is captured by this essential shock rock "LP, which includes the classics 'Wild Child', 'Animal', 'L.O.V.E. Machine' & 'Killahead'. Double Live Assassins will be released on double vinyl and presented in a gatefold packaging. The band released their fifteenth album in 2015 'Golgotha' and are still touring the release now.

Originally released in 1977, this was the first album Iggy Pop made after the dissolution of the Stooges, several jailings and a self-imposed stay in a mental institution. Produced by David Bowie, and including music written almost entirely by him, this is Iggy's most introspective and heavy work. Much more mechanical than the sleazy proto-punk of the Stooges, The Idiot was a huge influence on the post-punk sound of folks like Joy Division and Magazine. Business as Usual is the debut album of Australian new wave band Men at Work, which was originally released in 1981 and became one of the most successful albums internationally by an Australian group. It spent an unprecedented 15 weeks at No. 1 on the US Billboard 200 from late 1982 to early 1983, and five weeks at No. 1 in the United Kingdom Albums Chart in early 1983.

Business as Usual was also one of the highest selling Australian albums in the early 80s, with 6 million copies sold in the US and 15 million sold worldwide.

The first single Who Can It Be Now' was a strong top
3 hit single, but the second single Down Under' became a monster hit and reached the number 1 spot in several charts around the globe.

American industrial metal band Ministry was founded by lead singer Al Jourgensen in 1981. Originally a new wave synthpop outfit, Ministry changed its style to become one of the pioneers of industrial metal in the mid-80s.

Incredible but true, your fave label discovered an entire unreleased punk rock album from the land of spaghetti and mandolino! Uniplux were one of the few bands of 1977 Roman punk scene that included bands such as Trancefusion, Elektroshock, Luxfero, Ulster Punk Group, Apologia Di Reato, Bads, Stigma, Ddt. This band released two singles, the first, released for a major label RCA and entitled 'Chi siamo noi' came out in 1982. The second one, 'Maledetto rock', (Pogo records), came out two years later in 1984. Both records are very hard to find and sought after, mainly because Uniplux offered a unique vision of melodic punk rock. in 1997, a bunch of European punk collectors compiled 'killed by death 201', dedicated to Italian 1977/82 punk rock scene, selecting the track U.X.' to represent this band. After over 36 years, Rave Up Records unearthed from the tomb 11 killer tracks!!!! Amazing Italian punk with female vocals. For fans of Generation X, Buzzcocks, Penetration and all the early UK punk rock.

Released in May 1976 No Earthly Connection is the sixth solo album released by Rick Wakeman after his departure from Yes, It was recorded in France with his band the English Rock Ensemble. The album isn't as bombastic as his previous efforts, and only the length of a single vinyl album, with the first side devoted to the half-hour suite "Music Reincarnate" (it spills over to the second side in the original vinyl pressing) and the second splitting the difference between two songs, "The Prisoner" and "The Lost Cycle. The 2-CD deluxe edition comes with a bonus disc containing a concert from Hammersmith recorded in 1976 for the BBC. The booklet contains extensive notes and a new interview with Rick by Prog editor Jerry Ewing while the album was re-mastered at Abbey Road by Andrew Walter. The original LP contained a small square sheet of reflective plastic that could be curved into a cylinder, which when placed on the front cover allowed the viewer to see the cover drawing undistorted and with a 3D-like effect. A barely noticeable thin colourful arc on the cover appeared then as a rainbow keyboard about to be played by Wakeman's hands, in consonance with the album's theme of a creation myth based on music, this has been replicated in the vinyl album that accompanies the deluxe edition

Stamford Audio, in association with Canterbury Glass singer/songwriter Malcolm Ironton, is proud to present the very first pressing on beautiful 180 gram vinyl in a lavish gatefold sleeve of this superb 'lost' album, recorded in 1968. The first engineering job for renowned producer Chris Kimsey (famed for his later work with The Rolling Stones, Yes, ELP, INXS among many others), featuring legendary Genesis guitarist Steve Hackett on 'Prologue', and with future Whitesnake drummer Dave Dowle in the line-up, this album, a psychedelic/progressive crossover with church-music and bluesy influences, was made by a group of musicians very much on the London underground 'scene' of the time, playing gigs at Middle Earth and The Electric Garden, supporting Hendrix, supported by John Peel and pitched to CBS and Polydor, both of whom failed to pick up on a fabulous and original piece of work by a band which, on the strength of these songs, deserved way more recognition. At the time of a 2007 CD release of on Ork Records/RPM, 2 tracks ('Battle Hymn' and 'The Roman Head Of A Marble Man') could not be found, but after Simon Ashley at Stamford Audio contacted Malcolm Ironton late in 2009 to arrange releasing the album on vinyl, he searched again and, this time, the search bore fruit! Listening to all of the original tracks together again, he remembered that 'Gloria' had been intended as the last track on the album and 'Battle Hymn' finished off side one, so 'The Roman Head Of A Marble Man' then slotted in between 'Prologue' and 'Gloria' on side two and we now had the original running order for the vinyl LP, as it should have been issued all those years ago!

King Of The Nighttime World was the tune that should have been a blockbuster hit for THE HOLLYWOOD STARS in 1974 but the record was shelved by CBS and covered by KISS when pitched to them by co writer Kim Fowley two years later.THE HOLLYWOOD STARS would eventually put out their debut album in 1977 on another label and another set of tunes, but that's a story for another day.

Lee Hazlewood's LHI label only put out interesting albums. Yet despite the psychedelic cowboy's success with Nancy Sinatra and more, being on Lee Hazlewood Industries was no fast-track to success. Gorgeous and talented Detroit, Michigan girl group Honey Ltd had all the makings of a hit band, yet they disappeared after releasing just one album in 1968, a vinyl rarity that now regularly fetches upwards of $2,000. Check!
Light In The Attic Records is now looking to set the record straight. Having previously explored both the back catalog of Lee Hazlewood and his LHI label via the You Turned My Head Around 45s Box Set, Honey Ltd's The Complete LHI Recordings presents everything the group ever recorded. Fans of The Ronettes, The Shangri-Las and Pentangle are in for a treat - Honey Ltd's music blended social commentary with harmony-drenched, psych-soul pop. Even opening track, 'Warrior', describes the mood of the times, as America sunk into the Vietnam war: 'We must kill more people; strong men are what we need!"

Laura Polkinghome, Marsha Jo Temmer and sisters Joan and Alexandra Sliwin are the girls with the angelic voices. Hailing from Detroit, the four members of Honey Ltd grew up in a culture of soul music and dance shows, yet forming a band was never part of the plan. It simply happened after they sung together in a Wayne State University cafeteria and found they'd silenced the room. By 1967 they had formed a group known as the Mama Cats and were playing shows with local singer Bob Seger. By 1968, against a backdrop of rioting in Detroit, they'd hauled over to Los Angeles to give music a go, and it's there that they hitch-hiked to an audition with Lee Hazlewood on Sunset Boulevard. At the time, Lee Hazlewood Industries was in its prime: the money flowed and the roster swelled. 'I think Lee just sat there for a while and listened, looking at us,' Temmer recalls. 'He said, 'Yeah, I think we can do something.' You know - immediately!' Before long, LHI had the band in the studio with crack session music unit The Wrecking Crew.

Released in 1982, "Weltweit" was the sole output of the band. It has appropriately become quite rare and difficult to find with the resulting high prices to obtain an original copy. Inspired by the greats such as Kraftwerk, YMO and Klaus Schulze, the three members crafted an exquisite collection of electronic pop songs played on a very impressive collection of analog synthesizers (Arp Odyssey, Korg MS series, MiniMoog, PolyMoog, Moog Modular System 55, PPG 360, some Rolands, and Doepfer sequencer), self-builds and drum machines (Roland TR-808) that were considered cutting edge at the time. The band would have recorded a second album but split up before that was possible. Members of the band continued to be involved in the music industry at least peripherally but didn't participate in further collaborations or bands. Also interestingly, MONOPOL was basically a studio-only project and actually never played live (despite some TV appearances).

Definitely a must-have for fans of NDW such as Bal Paré, Grauzone, Piefke & Pafke, Rheingold, Stahlnetz, Ti-Tho and the like.

- After Stanley Road came the more 'rootsy', stripped-down style of Heavy Soul, once again the influence of British 'blues-rock' - Free, Spooky Tooth, Cat Stevens shone through (perhaps no coincidence that the album appeared on Island Records label!). The album included hit singles - Brushed, Friday Street, the jaunty 60s-inspired Mermaids and the riotous, Jam-like Peacock Suit.
