Originally released in 2023 and available exclusively on vinyl, Godzilla Was Too Drunk To Destroy Tokyo unleash a raw blast of sludge, stoner and warped psychedelia where fuzz, feedback and cosmic madness collide. Drawing from L7, Melvins, Electric Wizard, Acid King and Monster Magnet, the band deliver dirty sci- fi visions, heavy grooves and hallucinatory blues.
The Legendary album ‘From Mars to Sirius’ put GOJIRA on the path to Worldwide stardom. Almost 18 years , 72 seasons later, this classic album is still a massively Heavy Monster !. It is a concept album addressing environmental issues and the rebirth of a dead planet through a space travel storyline, with the underlying theme of a transition from war to peace. From Mars to Sirius was released in 2005 to critical acclaim. It has since been ranked amongst the Rolling Stone's 100 Greatest Metal Albums of All Time. "Music collectors have the chance to rediscover a lost gem from the golden age of psychedelic rock. This Half-Speed Mastered Edition offers the ultimate listening experience of the Texan band"s legendary 1967 debut-and only-album. Originally pressed by the International Artists label, Power Plant has gained mythic status among fans of the genre, often fetching up to $2,000 for an original pressing. But this exclusive reissue surpasses even the most sought-after versions, delivering a superlative experience that uncovers astonishing stereo details never before heard. Recorded at the height of the Texas psych-rock explosion, Power Plant stands as the only album on the International Artists label to rival the cult-like fascination surrounding the 13th Floor Elevators. Fronted by George Kinney, The Golden Dawn crafted a sound both haunting and transcendental, blending poetic lyrics, distorted guitars, and dreamlike vocals. Fans old and new will be transported back to the heart of the 1967 psych revolution, reliving this masterpiece as it was meant to be heard.
First-time limited-edition reissue of this mega super-crazy rare US hard
rock/metal heavy psych private press LP from 1981, Limited deluxe
edition of 499 copies.
Includes an insert with line notes and photos. Golden Dragon were a wild Filipino-American quartet from the Bay Area lead by Freddy Mabuhay. The album
is filled with heavy blazing psyched out metallic rock, blistering guitar solos
loaded with fuzz and wah, heavy riffs and stoned vocals.
Freddy was the bass player in the legendary band Dakila who had a fantastic album out on Epic in 1972. Later in 1978, after playing the Diamond Head Crater
Festival in Hawaii, Freddy formed his own group; Golden Dragon.
In 1981 he and his band; consisting of his brother and two musicians from the
legendary Bay Area punk band VKTMS, recorded the amazing Golden Dragon
album. The album was only pressed in a few copies to be sent out as a demo to
secure a record deal. Unfortunately, the deal never happened, and the album
stayed unreleased and pretty much unobtainable for all these years.
The short lived, but lethal, Golden Dragon band performed live at the legendary venue Mabuhay Gardens, aka The Fab Mab, in San Francisco. Sadly, Freddy
passed away shortly thereafter, and the mighty Golden Dragon’s music stayed
obscure growing to mythical status among hard rock and psych rock aficionados. Subliminal Sounds has now put together this release in cooperation with
the surviving musicians. It’s finally time for the world to experience the mighty
sound of Golden Dragon!
Dutch rock band Golden Earring released their twelfth studio album Contraband in 1976. It was the first full album to feature Eelco Gelling as the band’s guitarist. With seven rocking tracks, this album is dominated by guitars – as demonstrated by lead single “Bombay” and by the long guitar solos on “Con Man” and “Mad Love’s Comin’”. Contraband was well received by music critics and charted at #12 in the Dutch album charts.
The album is available as a limited edition of 1500 individually numbered copies on orange & black mixed vinyl, and includes a
4-page booklet.
Golden Earring were active for 50 years from 1961 until 2021. Their final line-up still included two founding members George Kooymans (vocals and guitar) and Rinus Gerritsen (bass, keyboard) along with Barry Hay (vocals, guitar, flute and saxophone), a member since 1968, and Cesar Zuiderwijk (drums), a member since 1970. They have had over 40 hits and 30 albums, many achieving either gold or platinum status in their home country, The Netherlands. They are best known for their 1973 hit single “Radar Love” and their 1982 single “Twilight Zone”.
To The Hilt was released in 1976 and is considered to be one of their most complex albums. More than half of the songs are over 7 minutes long and musically the songs are very diverse. It is the last record that features Robert Jan Stips on keyboards. This reissue will come with a gatefold sleeve.
The album is available as a limited edition of 1500 individually numbered copies on silver coloured vinyl, and includes an insert.
Cut is an album by Dutch hard rock band Golden Earring, released in 1982. It is one of their most popular releases to date, as it contains the international hit “Twilight Zone”, written by guitarist/vocalist George Kooymans. “Twilight Zone” reached No. 1 in both the Netherlands and Billboard’s Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks, while also reaching the top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100.
Together is a 1972 album by the world famous rock band the Golden Earring. It is the immediate predecessor to Moontan, and is as strong an example of Golden Earring’s particular blend of hard rocking Euro-prog as you are likely to hear. The group blurs the strict lines and weaves elements of each genre into a distinctive style that gives the songs their unique flavor. Most famous album tracks are “Buddy Joe” and “From Heaven from Hell”.
The rock band Golden Earring is one of the world’s best-known Dutch bands. During the 70’s they even made it to the Billboard charts by releasing “Radar Love”. Almost 60 years later they’re still performing and bringing their big hits to large audiences.
Together is available as a limited edition of 1500 individually numbered copies on psychedelic green (yellow & transparent green mixed) coloured vinyl.

Switch is the tenth studio album by Dutch rock band Golden Earring, released in 1975 as the follow-up of the band’s international breakthrough album Moontan. Switch actually marked a switch for Golden Earring, as it was more influenced by funk and prog than any of the band’s previous or subsequent releases. Lead single “Kill Me (Ce Soir)” perfectly demonstrates how Golden Earring experimented with a new sound. This reissue comes with a 4 page insert. Switch is available as a limited edition of 1500 individually numbered copies on transparent blue vinyl.
Live is a double live album released by Dutch rock band Golden Earring in 1977. With its long, spun out versions of classic Golden Earring songs (lasting between 5 and 12 minutes each), this record is vastly different than other live registrations by the band. It’s also one of only three albums where guitarist Eelco Gelling was a band member, adding a new dimension to the band’s sound with his incredible solos. Furthermore, this album emphasises Golden Earring’s strong rhythm section on swinging songs like “Mad Love’s Comin’” and “Radar Love”.
The album is available as a limited edition of 1500 individually numbered copies on white vinyl.
The self-titled 1970 album by Dutch rockers Golden Earring showed the band embarking on a harder, rougher musical journey than their previous work. Clearly influenced by bands like Led Zeppelin, The Who and The Doors, the band evolved from a 60’s beat-group into a 70’s rock band. The new (and still current) line-up of the foursome, fronted by charismatic singer Barry Hay, proved a successful one. Golden Earring includes their hit single “Back Home”, peaking at number 1 in the Dutch chart. Blues rock and hard rock are combined on tracks such as “I’m Going to Send My Pigeons to the Sky” and “As Long as the Wind Blows”. It’s the start of the decennium in which they recorded some of their best albums.
Golden Earring is available as a limited edition of 1000 individually numbered copies on coloured (gold & solid red mixed) vinyl.

Switch is the tenth studio album by Dutch rock band Golden Earring, released in 1975 as the follow-up of the band's international
breakthrough album Moontan and their bona fide classic track Radar Love.
All tracks have been 24 bit/192 kHz remastered from the original master tapes.
Last but not least: the original IBC Studios master tapes of Switch reveal the legendary ’50 Hz roll off’ note.
On request of executive producer Freddy Haayen, the cutting engineer @ IBC was commissioned to cut all frequencies below 50 Hz,
which meant that a large chunk of low-end frequencies was eliminated from the final mixes during vinyl cutting.
So, for the very first time, on LP1 of this remastered issue,
Switch finally sounds as it was recorded and mixed – with all (full range) frequencies intact.
Switch (remastered & expanded) is available as a limited edition of 2000 individually numbered copies on white coloured vinyl,
it's housed in a gatefold sleeve, 2 printed innersleeves and includes a lyric sheet.
Golden Earring were together between 1961 and 2021, and their last and best known line-up included two founding members George Kooymans (vocals and guitar) and Rinus Gerritsen (bass, keyboard) along with Barry Hay (vocals, guitar, flute and saxophone) a member since 1968 and Cesar Zuiderwijk (drums) a member since 1970.
They had over 40 hits and released 30 albums, many achieving either gold or platinum status in their home country, The Netherlands. They are best known for their 1973 hit single "Radar Love" and their 1982 single "Twilight Zone".
Around 1992, the unplugged sessions on MTV were a trend; almost every rock band or artist was doing them. Bass player Rinus Gerritsen suggested to record an acoustic album themselves. The record company wasn't very enthusiastic at first so with a small budget the band recorded the album live in an intimate cafe in Amsterdam. The Naked Truth turned out to be the Golden Earring's best selling album.
The Naked Truth is available as a limited edition of 2000 individually numbered copies on purple vinyl. The 2LP is packaged in a deluxe sleeve with linen laminate finish and includes an insert.
In 2021, Golden Earring announced their parting after more than 60-years as a group. This meant that their last live show, held at the Rotterdam Ahoy on 16th November 2019, was also their final performance as a band. With this knowledge, the excellent audio recordings of this tremendous concert were unshelved in close cooperation with the band and John Sonneveld – the band’s long-time technical assistant and producer. The result: You Know We Love You!
It's the ultimate goodbye of this legendary Dutch rock band and available as a limited edition of 500 individually numbered copies on transparent vinyl. This 3LP is packlaged in a deluxe trifold sleeve featuring a collage of photos that fans of Golden Earring submitted, plus a 4-page booklet including a replica of the original concert poster.
Five years after legendary Dutch rock band Golden Earring called it a day (after 50 years of recording and touring), their ten most loved songs and worldwide biggest hits have been brought together on one album: Essential Earring
Our well received series of Golden Earring remastered and expanded editions continue with On The Double. The Red Bullet archive was turned inside out again by Wouter Bessels and he found the original first-generation quarter inch master tapes of this classic 1969 album. These particular tapes have never been used for any release before, as in the analogue days of mixing and mastering it was customary to run off a set of equalized tape copies - with compression and sometimes reverb added - for release on vinyl and cassette. Also, genuine stereo mixes of both ‘Dong-Dong-Di-Ki-Di-Gi-Dong’ and its B-side ‘Wake Up-Breakfast!’ were found.
As the On The Double album was mixed in glorious stereo, we've included these never-before released stereo mixes (instead of the original 1968 mono mixes), alongside the original stereo mixes of ‘Where Would I Be’/’It’s Alright, But I Admit It Could Be Better’, the single that came out after On The Double. All in all, this expanded release of On The Double contains everything released by Golden Earrings between the albums Miracle Mirror and Eight Miles High and, as it features all original stereo mixes, fills another important hole in the reissue programme of the band. On The Double (remastered and expanded) is now available as a individually numbered edition of 1000 copies on crystal clear vinyl. It contains an insert, printed inner sleeves with liner notes by acclaimed Golden Earring biographer & archivist Jeroen Ras and additional remastering notes and comes in a gatefold sleeve.
On the first of February, Golden Earring played in Ahoy, Rotterdam for the first time in 23 years. Their setlist included all of their biggest hits and fan favourites such as: “Twilight Zone”, “Radar Love”, “Another 45 Miles”, “Going To The Run”, and “Just A Little Bit Of Peace In My Heart” amongst others. After celebrating their 40th anniversary in 2005 this live registration shows how they were still eager, relevant and energetic as ever.
The recordings were originally released as a DVD in 2006 and are now available on vinyl for the first time. Live In Ahoy 2006 is available as a limited edition of 1500 individually numbered copies on gold coloured vinyl and includes an insert.
"Back Home - Complete Leiden 1984 Concert is the live album by Golden Earring which features the live recordings of their legendary sold-out show at the Groenoordhallen in Leiden. The recordings are available on vinyl in its entirety. Dick Maas (famous Dutch filmmaker, Amsterdamned o.a.) and his crew were present to film the concert that became known as 'Live from the Twilight Zone'. It was broadcast in the USA by MTV, then still in its early days. Back Home - The Complete Leiden 1984 Concert contains remastered audio and is available on black vinyl, housed in a gatefold sleeve with liner notes.
Founded in 1961 by George Kooymans and Rinus Gerritsen, Dutch rock band Golden Earring (or Golden Earrings, until 1969) started off as a beat band, experimented as a psychedelic quartet and finally became a heavy rock group in the early 70s. Their ninth album ‘Moontan’ (1973) hit the international album charts and is the band's most successful album in the United States, while the single ‘Radar Love’ reached #10 on the Cash Box Top 100 and #13 in Billboard in the United States and became a bonafide international classic rock song. Their current line-up has been constant since 1970. They have had over 40 hits and released about 30 albums, many achieving either gold or platinum status in their home country, The Netherlands.
In 1984 the band released the album N.E.W.S. (North, East, West, South). It features the song ‘When The Lady Smiles’ which became an international hit in 1984, reaching #3 in Canada and becoming the band's fifth #1 hit in The Netherlands.
Music On Vinyl celebrates the 40th anniversary of this landmark album with fully restored and remastered audio from the original master tapes.

Golden Retriever and Chuck Johnson are artists unified by their ability to build entire ecosystems of sound. As Golden Retriever, bass clarinetist Jonathan Sielaff and synthesist Matt Carlson blur the lines between their respective instruments while guitarist Chuck Johnson is lauded for crafting a diversity of atmospheres, be it through fingerstyle acoustic or droning pedal steel. The combined powers of the trio is intoxicating. On their debut album, Rain Shadow, they combine slowly shifting instrumental layers and clouds of melody and texture, punctuated by emotional peaks. Minimalist approaches compound into maximalist pieces, evoking images of vast open desert and clear skies, simple yet seemingly endless. Rain Shadow's title is taken from a natural phenomenon which leaves the plains just beyond mountain ranges desolate and dry. Each piece moves with the ease and progression of a cloud formation. Inside a wash of ever-building layers of drone, subtle movement propels them forward. The album's A side emulates the the beauty and solace of these open spaces with lush beds of pedal steel chords and deliberate melodies trading between synthesizer and bass clarinet. Sielaff's increasingly distorted winds on "Sage Thrasher" gradually guide the ensemble towards the overcast deluge of the album's second half. The trio utilize steady, imperceptible motion akin to a desert's wind eroding stones into new and exciting configurations of sound. The four longform pieces that comprise Rain Shadow were devised entirely remotely. In contrast to the album's harmonious sound, each member of the trio tracked their performance separately from one another - Johnson from in Oakland, CA, and Sielaff and Carlson each in their Portland, OR homes. Previous Golden Retriever albums have used live performances as a reference point for arranging and consolidating ideas, but Rain Shadow's collaboration instead grew from members introducing a simple idea and each other member responding with musical reactions. Johnson's extended tape loops which gently degrade with each repetition into resonant tones served as the basis for the album's two longer pieces. Like the phenomenon that inspires the title 3 different forces come together to create something new. LISTEN

Orange Crush Vinyl. GoldFord writes soul music rooted in truth. His raw, unvarnished songs — equal parts introspection and catharsis — grapple with heartbreak, healing, and the quiet revelations that come with growth and maturity. Raised in St. Louis and now based in L.A., he spent a decade mired in corporate America before a devastating loss cracked something open. Since then, GoldFord has built a devoted following with his emotionally charged vocals and timeless style. His breakout single “Upside Down” offered a first taste of virality, while “Orange Blossoms” — inspired by an illuminating moment of presence under a fruit tree — has surpassed 50 million streams on Spotify alone and earned co-signs from Sam Smith and SZA. Tracks like “Ride the Storm” (33M+ Spotify streams) and “Walk With Me” have found homes in major ad campaigns, film, and TV . But for GoldFord, it’s not about placement: it’s about connection. “This is how I sort through my shit,” he says. “The music reflects back who I am.” With a new record on the way and a festival debut at Austin City Limits looming, he’s stepping into the spotlight, one soul-baring song at a time.
House (Reef) and Leah Rasmussen (EMI, Bedrock, Renaissance) AKA Goldray, return with a psych-rock fuelled second album ‘Feel The Change’, released on July 31. Written and produced by House and Rasmussen. Mixed by Pedro Ferreira (The Darkness, Therapy?, Enter Shikari, Meatloaf, David Gray) at Spinroad Studios in Gothenburg, Sweden. This eight-track album is a development in the duos sound giving a heavier edge but at the same time sounding more accessible than their debut ‘Rising’ whilst still remaining deeply bedded in their psych roots.Their new music exudes their inspiration and passion. They released a new double a-side single on May 29th - ‘How Do You Know’ which builds through the entirety of its four-minutes demonstrating Rasmussen’s huge range and power vocally, ending with a massive crescendo. And ‘Oz’, a monster seven-minute-plus track driven through House’s incredible guitar playing, the song is an ambitious journey of rock and psych, building with power, then dropping into a feeling of surreal psychedelia only to be slapped back in the face with the thunderous riff! Sharing a songwriting vision blending psych and prog experimental arrangements with etheric yet powerful female vocals, House and Rasmussen first started working together as an experimental side project for the pair that soon grew into an all-consuming passion. With a clear identity both musically and visually, Goldray pulls huge inspiration from the late 1960s and early 1970s and are very much at the centre of the emerging psych-rock scene. The band have garnered a formidable reputation live with performances at Glastonbury, Bestival, Download, Ramblin’ Man, HRH, Camden Rocks Festival and various headline shows over the past three years in the UK and Europe. Live, the band (who tour as a four-piece) ensure the ethos and feel of the show emanates the same feeling as the music. Visually striking with vocalist Rasmussen looking resplendent (described in a live review by Prog magazine in 2018 as “... the high priestess of hard rock”), and House’s playing still powerful and irresistibly hooky but somehow sliding into psychedelic hypnosis that ensures the live shows are a sensory overload! Live shows will be announced in due course. “‘Feel The Change’ is a joyous, liberating listening experience unencumbered as it is by any desire to tap into the zeitgeist… more bands should be this fearless and free." - Planet Rock Magazine “Goldray have made an album ‘Feel The Change’ that’s gloriously wicked and divine in equal measures... there’s not a single dud amongst the eight tracks here.” - Prog Magazine “This is one that’s very much wanted... Kenwyn House on guitar and Leah Rasmussen on vocals make a sublime sound… Quite brilliant. Feel the change? Feel the benefit. 10/10” Powerplay “‘How Do They Know’ is a commanding, tripped-out new single” – Loudersound. Vinyl is limited to 600 copies – 400 on white vinyl and 200 pressed on marble coloured vinyl – Vinyl also includes download codes

A genuine lost gem of late psychedelia/very early progressive which has lain slumbering on a couple of ancient reel to reel tapes and a single 7” Acetate in an attic since 1971. Lead track Spare Time is a sublime, insouciant garage psych classic at the Open Mind/ Magic Potion level, with DR Hooker vibes on the vocals: from there the album goes on a trippy sonic voyage of light and shade, never losing an innate sense of melody, dreamy vocals, garage organ, lots and lots of distorted, unhinged guitar and featuring a blowtorch live cover of Better By You Better Than Me. No moment wasted here and the last track a magical surprise! 227 released copies in Fully Laminated sleeve that features the original artwork for The Moon of Gomrath. Printed Inner and Insert. Barcodes on Stickers, No Shrink-wrap.

Digitally mastered from original BYG tapes by Nick Robbins. 16-pages booklet with photos & exclusive liner notes by author and journalist Kevin Le Gendre. *** Having been part of the fabled ‘Canterbury scene’ along with luminaries such as Robert Wyatt and Pip Pyle the irrepressible Australian guitarist-vocalist-songwriter Daevid Allen formed Gong with Welsh vocalist Gilli Smyth in Paris at the end of the ‘60s as France was in state of ferment. Magick Brother introduced Gong as one of the great oddities of the psychedelic and space rock age. The nucleus of Allen, Smyth and Malherbe was able to create a musical vocabulary very much of its own all the while searching for essential metaphysical truths. “The band made strong political statements that comes through loud and clear on this re-mastered version of Gong’s debut album...” Kevin Le Gendre, 2022
