Pop & Rock Vinyl New Releases - News

Norwegian magic with style and enchanting voice! In 2021 LIV KRISTINE‘s EP „Have Courage Dear Heart“ was released and now the
re-release „Enter My Religion“. The album will be released for the first time as a vinyl with an extra single, as a cassette with two bonus tracks and as a double CD with unreleased tracks and demo recordings. The songs were also adorned with universal influences. Sitar sounds introduce the title track, which comfortably gets under your skin with its insinuating melody arcs and LIV KRISTINE‘s delicate voice. The opener „Over the Moon“ (PETER TÄGTGREN) hints at powerful metal, but then develops into a driving pop song. „Fake a Smile“ is an airy ballad, with LIV KRISTINE‘s voice charmingly taking center stage and setting the tone for most of the songs on the album. The title track „Enter my Religion“ is a mid-tempo anthem with a wise appeal to your inner self, your self-esteem, happiness and creativity. The pace continues with „All the Time in the World“. Straighter and more guitar-driven is „My Revelation“. Pleasing harmonies are in the foreground in the warm and soothing composition „Coming Home“. ‚Streets of Philadelphia‘ - BRUCE
SPRINGSTEEN‘s theme song to the Oscar-winning movie was interpreted as a tribute. The arrangements being technically based on the original, LIV KRISTINE adds new and softer accents to the track. „You Take Me Higher“ is extraordinarily different and more dance-oriented, with a subtle drum‘n‘bass overlay. With „Trapped in Your Labyrinth“ and „Fake a Smile“ LIV KRISTINE spoils her listeners
with profoundly sensual ballads and rock songs. The fairy-like singing, accentuated by piano sounds, envelops music lovers in a web of security, melancholy and longing.

„Enter My Religion“ convinces as a spicy and varied album. The blond Norwegian succeeds in creating a fine album with romantic touches, which never slips into kitsch. Simply authentic, profoundly philosophical, surprising and absolutely LIV KRISTINE - luminous and enlightening.

Black Vinyl 2 x 12" Vinyl Album + 2 x CD album

Originally released on Dream Theater’s YtseJam Records in 2005, this one-of-a-kind performance sees Dream Theater again paying tribute to some of their historic musical icons. “The Number of the Beast” is Dream Theater’s rendition of the classic album from legendary British heavy metallers, Iron Maiden. This unique 2002 performance in front of a French audience at La Mutualite in Paris, France is the only available recording of this one-off historic event, forever preserved in the YtseJam collection and now available for the first time ever on vinyl and streaming services. A much-revered performance from Dream Theater’s catalog, “The Number of the Beast”, performed in its entirety, is a can’t-miss live release in the growing Lost Not Forgotten Archives series.

Black Vinyl 2 x 12" Vinyl Album + 2 x CD album

Etwas Altes.

: Thou have a bit of a reputation for doing Nirvana covers, even releasing of a full album of them titled Blessings of the Highest Order during the height of quarantine. The infamously ravenous Thou fans were stuck in their rooms, drinking every drop and begging for more and just their luck the band decided to release a full-length compilation of their non-Nirvana covers they recorded and released from 2009-2022.

All of the songs on A Primer of Holy Words appeared on limited pressings of various split EPs and benefit compilations. The range of bands being covered is wide: Pearl Jam and Alice in Chains from abandoned tribute projects; Born Against from a small press

Bloodywood from India are the hottest new band in the Metal-genre. Millions of followers online and a growing fanbase! The self-released debut “Rakshak” finally released as a proper vinyl edition!

Formed in 2016 as a fun band, Bloodywood from New Delhi, India are the hottest metal band right now! They bring everything you need in 2022: aggression, global ideas, visionary views, politically correct behavior and standing up for minorities from all walks of life. The band around the three heads Jayant Bhadula, Karan Katijar and Raoul Kerr managed to break into the international charts on their own and gathered an incomparable fan following. What started out six years ago with Bollywood and Linkin Park-covers has grown to a size that's expanding by the day. Bloodywood fans can now be found all over the world, millions of people have heard their songs and watched their videos, the wave can no longer be stopped. Now the debut “Rakshak”, which the band self-released in early 2022, is finally out on vinyl! In the summer of 2022 they will storm the European festivals, make their point in the USA in September and return to play their long-awaited clubtour through Europe, which was postponed due to the pandemic, at the beginning of 2023. Tickets are already running low. In a year at the latest everyone will know who Bloodywood is. Tom Morello (Rage Against The Machine) already knows it and has drawn his fans' attention to the Indian metallers with a tweet: "Rocking!" he calls the Indian sensation. Among other things, the musicians are involved in animal welfare and social projects and use traditional Indian instruments such as the tabla, dhol or bamboo flute. They mix it with rough thrash metal, urban rap vocals (English/Hindi/Punjabi) and rock-hard grooves. That creates a lot of uproar, at times sounds like open street fighting and, despite the regional references, has an absolutely international level. Especially since moderate sounds also find their place on “Rakshak” (Hindi for “protector”), as can be heard from the tracks 'Zanjeero Se' and 'Jee Veerey'. Bloodywood definitely deliver Linkin Park-standards here and even open themselves up to target groups that are less metal-savvy. The majority of this album rages like an unleashed tropical storm ('Dana-Dan', 'Chakh Le') is decked out with an impressively rabid force and hardly allows the listener any breaks. This mix is what makes it so successful: the album entered the Billboard charts, making them the first Indian metal band to do so.“Rakshak“ was also successful on Bandcamp, where it topped the platform's album sales upon release and was ranked as the 22nd best-selling new release of all time (as of March 2022) and the 3rd best-selling metal release. Rock for a rebellion that will be unstoppable!

Die sechsköpfige Band - Joseph Badolato Gesang, Patrick Sheridan Gitarre, Timothy Howley [Gitarre], Will Putney [Gitarre], Peter Blue Spinazola [Bass] und Josean Orta Martinez [Schlagzeug] - perfektioniert diesen Ansatz auf ihrem sechsten Album Oh What The Future Holds [Nuclear Blast Records].

Dark Green Lp

The wait is over: Arch Enemy are back with the follow up to 2017’s ‘Will To Power’, and they have never sounded hungrier. Delivering a collection of the tightest, most streamlined, and, more importantly extreme metal, ‘Deceivers’ is comprised of 11 tracks that will have their fan base salivating. Every track is ruthlessly catchy and mercilessly violent, and with the likes of ‘Deceiver, Deceiver’, ‘House Of Mirrors’, ‘Handshake With Hell’ or ‘Poisoned Arrow’ the Swedish quintet have never sounded better. Released on July 29th, 2022, it is available in 4 formats, all of which offer something special for the fans. First, there is the hand-numbered Ltd. Deluxe 2LP + CD Artbook which includes a multicolored vinyl (each design is unique), zoetrope/picture vinyl, CD, two bonus tracks, art print and a 36-page LP-sized booklet with liner-notes. The similarly exclusive Ltd. Deluxe CD Box Set includes a special edition CD “PocketPac” (eco-friendly packaging), two bonus tracks, a 32-page DIN A5 booklet (with liner-notes), tote bag and metal pin. Then there is the limited black and colored LP that comes with an 8-page booklet and Obi-Strip, and finally the special edition CD that also comes with a “PocketPac” (eco-friendly packaging) and a 16-page booklet.

Age of Apocalypse materialize at a shadowy crossroads between metal, grunge and hardcore. The Hudson Valley, NY quintet—Dylan Kaplowitz vocals, Jack Xiques [guitar], Terry Orlando [guitar], Joe Shannon [bass], and Will Kamerman [drums]—steep anthems of darkness, depression, and loss into a disarmingly infectious and downright inimitable hybrid of their own. After receiving acclaim from Stereogum, CVLT NATION, No Echo, and more, the group present a fascinating and fiery vision on their sophomore full-length and debut for Closed Casket Activities, Grim Wisdom. Initially formed during 2018 after Jack and Dylan previously played in another project. Inspired by an unholy alliance of All Out War, Alice In Chains, Type O Negative, and Life Of Agony, they unveiled The Way in 2020. 2021 saw them team up with “Pain of Truth” for a four-song split. In its wake, Stereogum hailed Age of Apocalypse’s “furious thrashers with big, melodically howled lead vocals and crushing breakdowns.” Throughout 2021, they recorded Grim Wisdom with producer Taylor Young of The Pit Recording Studio. Drums were tracked GCR Studios in Buffalo, NY, followed by the band working out of Jack's studio in Western Massachusetts, while Taylor produced remotely from California and later mixed the release. Mastering handled by Brad Boatright of Audiosiege and original artwork created by Dillon Perino.

Formed in 1996, Goatsnake was an ultra-heavy, blues-doom powerhouse consisting of guitarist Greg Anderson (Engine Kid), vocalist Pete Stahl (Scream, Wool) and the mega rhythm section of Greg Rogers (drums), Guy Pinhas (bass) from underground heavy legends The Obsessed. The band’s tenure has ebbed and flowed for over two decades, leaving behind a legacy of legendary live shows and classic albums and EP’s.

VERY LIMITED QUANTITY OF BLACK VINYL FOR UK.

Goatsnake’s classic debut album— appropriately entitled 1 (one)— was originally released by Man's Ruin Records in 1999 on CD and LP formats. The album featured 8 songs that gracefully combined monolithic, Sabbath-y riffs with soulful vocals to create a monumental introduction to the band, and a style that would be influential for years to come.

If you are looking for raw, psychedelic hard-rock, look no further! We present the complete recordings (1968-1972) from Wicked Lady, the legendary UK underground power trio leaded by ace guitarist Martin Weaver, later a member of Dark on their "Round the edges" album.

Here's the first volume of our Wicked Lady collection, double vinyl of "The Axeman Cometh". Our new edition features gatefold cover with liner notes by doomy psychedelic guitar God in person, Martin Weaver, who tells the real (and bizarre!) story behind Wicked Lady. The stuff of a legend, this is a real fest of fuzz, wah-wah and heavy riffs that will blow the mind of any hard-psych collector.

American rock band King’s X combines progressive metal, funk and soul with vocal arrangements influenced by gospel, blues and British Invasion rock groups. Recurring themes are their struggles with religion and self-acceptance. During their major label career with Megaforce Records, King’s X secured opening slots for bands like Cheap Trick, Iron Maiden, AC/DC, Scorpions, Pearl Jam and Mötley Crüe.

In 1990 they released their third studio album Faith Hope Love, which charted #85 on the Billboard Top 200 Album Chart. The featured single “It’s Love” peaked on the Billboard Singles Chart at #6. On the tracks “Mr. Wilson” and “Faith Hope Love” you’ll hear the Galactic Cowboys who provided backing vocals.

30th ANNIVERSARY VINYL EDITION OF THE ICONIC 1992 BLACK METAL
CLASSIC FROM DARKTHRONE - PRESENTED ON LIMITED WHITE VINYL
WITH SLEEVE DESIGN REPLICATING THE ORIGINAL PRESSING
'A Blaze In The Northern Sky', Darkthrone's official second album, was originally
released in 1992 & was without question the blueprint for the Black Metal scene,
spearheading the evolution of the early second wave movement in Norway &
beyond. It was hailed on release as an album of true scene- shifting greatness,
following their more death metal focussed debut, 'Soulside Journey'. The rawness
apparent on the album (recorded at Creative Studios, the same location as
Mayhem's legendary Deathcrush was put to tape), was unusual for the time & an
antithesis to the usual metal production values & standards during the period.
With this, Darkthrone's statement of attitude & intent was clear & their status as
masters of Norwegian black metal was set.
This edition of 'A Blaze in the Northern Sky' coincides with the 30th anniversary of
the seminal album's release & is presented on limited white vinyl, with the sleeve
design replicating the original pressing, plus a refresh of the original 1992 audio
master.

Shadow Kingdom Records is proud to present Savage Master's highly
anticipated fourth album, 'Those Who Hunt at Night' on CD and Red &
Black Tears colored vinyl'.One of the most exciting and electrifying bands
in today's occult heavy metal scene, during the first six years, Savage
Master swiftly built an impressive canon of work
Now Savage Master stands taller than ever and surveys those they leave in the
dust with their fourth full-length, 'Those Who Hunt at Night'. All too perfectly titled,
'Those Who Hunt at Night' sees Savage Master going in for the kill, keeping their
unyielding-as-steel sound whilst sharpening it yet further with their clearest and
most powerful production to date. In fact, that palpable professionalism
profoundly impacts that sound - timeless electricity, eternal glory, boundless
energy, authentically ancient but no tired ""retro"" retread, with the immediately
recognizable vocals of Stacey Savage leading the charge - so much so, one could
put the album alongside such early/mid '80s stunners as Judas Priest's Point of
Entry (moody and dynamic) or Jag Panzer's Ample Destruction (locomotion and
drama). Which is to say nothing of the subtle- but- crucial placement of vintage
synths across the 36- minute album, giving all nine songs a unique twist that
altogether make the record a unified experience. Still, from the impeccably
constructed hooks to the broader range of tempos they explore, Savage Master's
creativity here seems to know no bounds whilst keeping their core intact.

Studioalbum A Heartless Portrait (The Orphean Testament), 20.

SINGLE VINYL EDITION OF DODHEIMSGARD'S 1999 MASTERCLASS OF
BOUNDARY-PUSHING EXPERIMENTAL BLACK METAL.To fans of black
metal, Dødheimsgard need no introduction, being one of the great
purveyors of the Norwegian Black Metal creative evolution
The band was formed in 1994 by Aldrahn (Thorns) & Vicotnik (Ved Buens Ende).
The early incarnation was that of a raw & at often melodic black metal band, with
their debut album also featuring Fenriz of Darkthrone on bass. In recent years,
Dodheimsgard has become known for its eclectic musical ventures & poignant
mood shifts, with a less chaotic, more considered approach compared to their
earliest works. Following the 'Kronet til Konge' & 'Monumental Possession'
opuses, there was a shift in direction as demonstrated on 1998's 'Satanic Art' EP
& by Dødheimsgard's third album, '666 International', Vicotnik had taken over a lot
of the writing duties, with DHG's style becoming more technical yet ferocious
black metal, with strong experimental ideas & industrial elements. Vicotnik's riffs
were inspired by cult bands such as Thorns & perfectly entwined with Aldrahn's
delightfully twisted lyrics & immense vocals to create something truly unique. In
its '666 International' incarnation, DHG (as they were later to be known) featured a
line- up of well- respected Norwegian musicians including Czral (Aura Noir, Ved
Buens Ends, Virus), Apollyon (Aura Noir, Immortal), plus Mr Magic Logic (Fleurety)
on keyboards, as the album was constructed over a period of time. All in all, '666
International' is rightly regarded as a highly influential masterpiece of avant-garde
metal by many since its release in 1999.
This edition of '666 International' is presented on black vinyl in single sleeve,
retaining the original cover artwork & contains lyrics.

THE FULL 'GOTHIC EP' PRESENTED ON THE VINYL FORMAT FOR THE
FIRST TIME, CONTAINING A COMBINATION OF SPECIAL REMIXES &
ALTERNATE STUDIO VERSIONS OF PARADISE LOST CLASSICS
Creators, pioneers & purveyors of the whole Gothic Doom Metal scene which
subsequently came to prominence in the early 90's, Britain's Paradise Lost rose
from humble Northern roots to become one of the UK's leading artists in the
metal genre throughout the decade & beyond, remaining as relevant & revered as
ever to this day after a career spanning over three decades. The band's first two
albums were released on Peaceville, in the shape of 1990's influential deathly
debut 'Lost Paradise', followed up by the more atmosphere- focussed genre
classic, 'Gothic' in 1991. 'Gothic EP' was originally released in 1994 & combined

MY DYING BRIDE'S CLASSIC 1996 SHOW FROM KRAKOW, POLAND, FOR
A NIGHT OF DOOM METAL MAGIC
PRESENTED ON DOUBLE GATEFOLD VINYL, & ON THE VINYL FORMAT FOR THE
FIRST TIME.My Dying Bride has been the leading light of doom metal since the
debut album 'As The Flower Withers' was released on Peaceville Records back in
1992. Influenced by acts such as Celtic Frost & Candlemass, the British band's
heavy atmospherics have carved a huge worldwide following over the years to
stand as one of the true enduring & distinguishable pillars of the genre. 'For
Darkest Eyes' contains the band's iconic 1996 performance from Krakow, Poland,
featuring numerous classic doom anthems from the early career of the UK Metal
Gods. The show was recorded as the band was riding a wave of popularity due to
their recent breakthrough third album, 'The Angel & the Dark River' (plus their tour
with British metal legends Iron Maiden in the winter of 1995), showcasing several
tracks from that release such as 'The Cry of Mankind' & 'Your Shameful Heaven',
as well as renditions of other established numbers such as 'The Crown of
Sympathy' & 'The Forever People'.
This edition of 'For Darkest Eyes' is presented on double gatefold vinyl & first time
on the vinyl format & contains cover artwork adapted from the original video tape
release.

ANATHEMA'S CLASSIC 1995 OPUS OF MONUMENTAL ATMOSPHERIC
DOOM, PRESENTED ON SINGLE VINYL.Anathema has spent most of their
career making music that defies description
As part of the Peaceville 3, along with Paradise Lost & My Dying Bride, Anathema
have carved a strong legacy since their inception at the turn of the 1990's, to
become a widely revered & respected band within both the metal world & beyond,
as their sound & compositions progressed from doom/ death metal into more
rock & progressive territory with each subsequent release, becoming one of the
UK's most cherished & critically acclaimed rock bands. 'The Silent Enigma',
Anathema's second studio album, was originally released in the summer of '95 &
was the first release on which guitarist Vincent Cavanagh took over the vocal
duties of the departed Darren White. Where Darren's vocals were guttural,
Vincent's style pushed the possibilities for Anathema onwards & upwards, with a
scope & breadth beyond his years, complimenting an ethereal roller- coaster of
thoughtful atmospherics & crushing Celtic Frost style riffs - the Swiss legends
being a notable inspiration. What emerged was a fine example of highlyatmospheric & often emotional gothic doom, spawning classic Anathema songs
such as "Restless Oblivion", "Sunset of Age", "The Silent Enigma" & "A Dying Wish".
Lauded by the metal press & fans alike as a doom metal classic, the album's
popularity has remained a favourite within the metal scene.
This edition of 'The Silent Enigma' is presented on single vinyl including inner
sleeve with lyrics.
