Includes a cover of Black Sabbath's "Planet Caravan", a killer first version of "No Control" featuring Núñez on guitar (later recorded again for their first album with Max Sunyer), the proto-metal sounding "Hard Drive" (not released until now) and more!

Following on from Volumes 1-3, Volumes 4, 5 & 6 contain more unique remixes from the Disconet vaults. 'Volume 5' kicks off with Bohannon's 'Lets Start The Dance' which gives extra oompth to the percussion freak out. Imagination's 'Just An Illusion' is chopped to shred's with a number of other tracks to create something completely unique in 'Streetmix'. On the flip Bounce's little known 'Strut Your Tennis Style' and A Taste Of Honey's chart topper 'Boogie Oogie Oogie' are also given the Disconet Remix treatment.

The most celebrated Grateful Dead show in history is finally getting its official release. The forces aligned for the Dead on May 8, 1977, at Barton Hall, Cornell University, Ithaca, NY, for what many hail the pinnacle performance of their 30-year career. So revered is the performance, that an audience recording of this show joined Prince's Purple Rain and Dolly Parton's Coat Of Many Colors as 2012's inductees into the National Recording Registry of the U.S. Library Of Congress, an honor bestowed upon music/songs that "are culturally, historically, or aesthetically important."

Cornell 5/8/77 was recorded live directly from the soundboards by Betty Cantor-Jackson. After several years the master tapes were seemingly lost for good, but that all changed at the end of 2016. The lost tapes, or lost Betty boards' as they are commonly known, finally made their way back home to the Grateful Dead vault, making it possible to officially bring the world this legendary show just in time for its 40th Anniversary. The complete live show has been remastered by GRAMMY award-winning sound engineer, Jeffrey Norman and packed into a unique and limited edition five-LP set. In addition to this, the transfers from the master tapes were produced by Plangent Processes, making of this the best, most authentic that Cornell has ever sounded.

Joe Jackson's debut single, Is She Really Going Out With Him', was not an immediate hit, however, by the time his debut album Look Sharp! was released, the song had reached charts in the U.K. and U.S., earning him a gold record. For the follow-up, he produced the top 5 hit It's Different For Girls', Joe received the highest musical accolade of the Netherlands, the Edison Award.

After two edgy new wave pop records, his next tracks included some reggae influences such as the tracks One to One' and Mad At You', while Jumpin' Jive' - recorded with jazz musicians
- was full of old jump blues and swing tunes.

The huge commercial success came with his crafted pop songs Steppin' Out' and jazzy Breaking Us In Two' climbing the charts worldwide. Joe Jackson produced even jazzier hits in 1984 such as Happy Ending', (a duet with Elaine Caswell), Be My Number Two' and You Can't Get What You Want'.

The album Big World (1986), a live album of entirely new material including Home Town', was recorded during six concerts. It is not a regular live album though, the audience was asked to be quiet during the songs and the applause was edited out.

The pop song Nineteen Forever' was part of a larger construction from the album Blaze Of Glory, designed to tell a semi-autobiographical story. In 1991 Joe Jackson decided to abandon pop once and for all in favour of more serious music. It spawned the track Stranger Than Fiction'.

In this single you have the alternative version of SUN 283 for the first time in 7" format, Ballad Of A Teenage Queen with the overdubs, as it was recorded originally only with Johnny Cash' voice shack up with two acoustic guitars and double bass, resulting thereof in a good country bopper, more attractive than the version that was edited those days.
On the B Side we have included an alternative recording of Big Rive, less crafted tan the original but with some changes in the orchestration that make it as interesting as the one we are used to.

Yolanda Cristina Gigliotti (17 January 1933 - 3 May 1987), better known as Dalida, was an Egyptian-born Italian-French singer and actress who performed and recorded in more than ten languages, including Arabic, Italian, Greek, German, French, English, Japanese, Hebrew, Dutch and Spanish. In 1961, she acquired French citizenship upon marriage, while maintaining her original Italian one. This compilation traces her earlier roots with a selection of 12 fine tracks, now regarded as pop classics. A stunning interpretation of Ciao Ciao Bambina (written by famous italian songwriter and pop celebrity Domenico Modugno, the same author of internationally admired 'Nel Blu Dipinto Di Blu') and 'Romantica' (written by commedia Renato Rascel) are among the best moments of this marvelous collection.
