CAM Sugar launches its new HERITAGE collection dedicated to the most celebrated soundtracks that made the history of Italian cinema. The opening title is Federico Fellini’s milestone AMARCORD, which is here presented for the first time ever as a 180gr gatefold double LP, carefully restored and remastered from the original master tapes. AMARCORD won an Academy Award in 1974 as Best Foreign Film, besides receiving two nominations for Best Director and Best Screenplay. The sweet and evocative music by Nino Rota takes the listener on a journey through the places of Fellini’s boyhood in Rimini, creating a combination of music and images that is absolutely perfect and still internationally appreciated today. This edition includes a 30x75cm illustrated poster, with a reproduction of the original Nino Rota music sheets. This very special re-release of this classic by Nino Rota is in honor of what would have been his 110th birthday.

Acclaimed title on the SEGA’s Saturn released in Japan in 1997, Grandia reaches the West for a release on the Sony’s PlayStation in 1999, and has a HD remaster in 2019 on Nintendo Switch and PC.

The Grandia Memorial Soundtrack Collector Edition is presented within a deluxe package featuring a brand new piece of artwork made especially for this edition by Toshiaki Hontani, who worked as the co-director and animator on Grandia.

It features:

- Three 180g vinyl discs, with "Mint Green" colors and entirely remastered for the vinyl format.

THELMA is a 2017 coming of supernatural coming of age story directed by Joachim Trier that has just been tapped for a big budget studio remake from the team behind I, Tonya. The film centres around Thelma a shy introvert that leaves her family behind to go and study in the city. She befriends Anja an outgoing student and the two have an immediate and intense attraction. To say more would ruin the film as its dark tale of love, loss supernatural abilities unfolds.

The score by Ola Fløttum is full of starkly beautiful dark strings and mood pieces washed over with the occasional synth drone or texture, it’s hauntingly beautiful, captivating and absolutely ranks as one of our favourite scores from the last few years, if you were a fan of Let The Right One In you should immediately seek out Thelma as we are sure you’ll fall in love with it as much as we did.

Preeminent cellist / composer Oliver Coates follows his scores for
‘Aftersun’ and ‘Foe’ with a stately string and electronic orchestration for Tudor and Stuart-era period drama ‘Mary & George’. Coate’s score draws on his roots in classical, electronic and club music to accompany an adaptation of the non-fiction book ‘The King’s Assassin’ by Benjamin Woolley, which outlines the romantic affair between King James VI and I and George Villiers, 1st Duke of Buckingham.
The score sees Coates reaching for a suitably lavish palette of strings, from symphonic to puckered chamber arrangements, sometimes underlined with Burial-esque beats and choral pads, as in ‘France’, or alloying the two in a way recalling Nicholas Britell’s ‘Succession’ soundtrack. There’s enough harpsichord to make the ruffed-necks swoon, and Coates takes the license to distort sounds to taste when necessary, resulting a clear highpoint in his work, both solo and for film

the cellist Eric-Maria Couturier, and the Estonian Philharmonic

This sixth season fan favorite mixes up the show's classic formula by introducing a series of seemingly innocuous musical numbers performed by the townsfolk of Sunnydale. It turns out, however, this is caused by the arrival of a demon named Sweet, who has more sinister plans for the titular Vampire Slayer, and her sister Dawn.

Available for the first time in over 15 years, and for the first time on wax, this reissue is pressed on 180 gm colored vinyl and features original art by Paul Mann and all-new liner notes by series creator and songwriter Joss Whedon.

Will Butler, known for his work with Arcade Fire, has composed the original score for the Broadway play Stereophonic. The play, set in the 1970s, explores the dynamics of a rock band on the brink of success or collapse. Butler’s score authentically captures the era, using period-specific instruments and recording techniques to evoke the raw energy of 1970s rock.. He recorded the parts with the original cast from Stereophonic, including Will Brill, Andrew R. Butler, Juliana Canfield, Eli Gelb, Tom Pecinka, Sarah Pidgeon, and Chris Stack. The production received acclaim from critics and no less than 13 nominations at the 77th Tony Awards, taking home five, including Best New Play. Stereophonic now holds the record for the most Tony nominations by a play. Stereophonic is available as a limited edition on translucent yellow coloured vinyl and includes an insert.

Recorded live in London's West End. Grandson of the infamous Victor Frankenstein, Dr. Frederick Frankenstein (pronounced 'Fronk-en-steen') (Hadley Fraser) inherits a castle in Transylvania leading him to fulfill his grandfather's legacy by bringing a corpse (Nic Greenshields) back to life. With help and hindrance from hunchback henchman Igor (Ross Noble), buxom assistant Inga (Summer Strallen) and needy fiance Elizabeth (Dianne Pilkington), his experiment yields madcap success and monstrous consequences. After opening on Broadway in November of 2007 the show ran until 2009. A revised version of the show opened in London's West End in October of 2017 to mostly positive reviews. ABC was set to air Young Frankenstein Live last October and delayed it due to COVID-19 restrictions. The show has been rescheduled to air October 2021 on ABC. Mastered and mixed at Abbey Road Studios. This is the first LP release of music from either of the Young Frankenstein live shows.

DESTROYER tells the story of Detective Erin Bell (Nicole Kidman) whose life is turned upside down when a past life comes back to haunt her in the form of ink-stained money and a corpse with a mysterious neck tattoo of three black dots.

Like their previous collaboration (THE INVITATION), Theodore's score is emotionally devastating. Similar to Erin Bell, the album is rageful, intense, loving and sublime. The album is a journey, sonically tracking from bank shootouts to foot chases and hubristic comeuppances - ultimately arriving at one of Theodore's beautiful pieces of music titled 'Ecstasy.'

LIQUID SKY is the cult film to end all cult movies! Set in 1982 Microscopic aliens arrive on earth to feed on the endorphins of herion addicts in the hip club scene of Downtown New York City. The aliens land on the roof of an apartment block and soon realize they get a better lunch when feeding off orgasms!

The music is as wild as the premise of the film. Composed by director Slava Tsukerman himself using an array of early analog synthesisers and samplers, he mixes original compositions with electronic versions of symphonic classics to striking effect. The score is dizzying, hallucinatory and off kilter. Completely wild and free from the trappings of both traditional film and score Tsukerman lets loose with a score that is at times terrifying, at others soothing but always interesting and like nothing you have ever heard before. The score peaks with “Me & My Rhythm Box” featuring a performance by Paula E. Sheppard that has become a staple DJ’s the world over. Far ahead of its time, both the film and the score have had lasting influence on todays culture. Everyone from Larry Tee, Fischerspooner, Lady Gaga & SIA have borrowed something from it.
