To submit or to surrender? Robert Johnson resident Oskar Offermann doesn’t have the answers, and that’s kind of the point. Things change: one moment you’re touring the globe as a recognizable face of one of the greatest clubs in the world, the next you’ve started a new life as a teacher. How do you handle that shift? On this record, Offermann doesn’t offer solutions so much as trace his own way through it, reflecting the whole process in his music and creative work.

Whatever the story, whatever the case, Oskar Offermann can still produce some of the most emotive, bleepy, strange dance music out there and this 12 inch is the proof. Sonically and conceptually it leans into that precise, melancholic German school: at points drawing from 80s wave and experimental music, then flirting with trancey motifs and closing in divinely crafted breakbeat. In just four tracks it packs in a surprising amount of functional range, exactly what you’d expect from one of RJ’s longest-standing residents. The A- and B-sides mirror each other: they open at full intensity, tempos pushed well past the 130 BPM mark, easy to imagine ripping through a peak-time floor – and still both sides land on something far more personal and reflective.

Even inside a framework of high-intensity club tunes, Oskar’s character shines through loud and proud. Think the slightly disjarring yet melodically captivating winds in the middle of the B1 trance induced number “Accepting”, or the masterfully paced build of opener “Planet Interface”. The same goes for A2 “Televise Improvise” and B2 “Sei mal nur lieb”: on paper they should feel like breathers next to the two behemoths, but they don’t. Offermann crams so much substance and personality into them that they become quietly dangerous. There’s that magical mix of squelchy acid, rough low end and naturalistic melodies on B2, and the relentless emotional drive of A2 “Televise Improvise”. Oskar is really, really good at making dance music irresistible.

Character, skill and honesty in one record, meant for the attentive listener and the brave DJ. A rare combination nowadays, get it fast!

Phase O'Matic Opens the label with an EP dedicated to the 90s vibe.

Sweden has long had a celebrated techno scene and you'd be hard pushed to find anyone who has contributed to it as significantly as Cari Lekebusch. He has a vast back catalogue dating back to the mid-90s under many different aliases, including this one, Phunkey Rhythm Doctor, which yielded his 'Underground Poetry' EP back in 1995. 'Jazz Maze' is an exceptional start - urgent and punchy with freeform melody that brings the fun. 'Mad Poet' is much darker and has a doom-laden vocal over stiff, crisp drums. 'Sugardaddy' is a dubby bumper with a wobbly bassline and wispy synths, cyborg electronics and a cavernous groove. Don't sleep on this one.

American DJ and producer PTHGN joins the Fides Records family with his debut EP Binary Operation, marking the 17th release for the label.

The 5-track Binary Operation EP underscores PTHNG's profound grasp of classic Detroit electro.

With his lively basslines, pulsating drum breaks, long and dreamy pads, and unique urban vocal snippets, he crafts timeless dancefloor anthems. This almost lost treasure from 1993 was heavily supported by Sven Väth during his Omen times and was released by the label Ongaku which was run by Ata and Heiko M/S/O. It was produced by the Frankfurt based techno mentors Kay Praag and Jörn Elling Wuttke (Alter Ego, Sensorama) and celebrates its 30 year anniversary. „What is soul?“ is one of those classics which has not been played to death and comes along with brand new interpretations by no one else than Joris Voorn and Joseph Ashworth. Ring Noord and Anetha connect on Everything Is Still To Come EP for Mama Told Ya



Ring Noord return with a five-track EP on Mama Told Ya, marking their first collaboration with Anetha and their first release on the label. Developed between studio sessions in Groningen and sustained time in the club, Everything Is Still To Come places their work in a broader context, moving between bass music, techno and rave, where instinct-driven writing meets a more direct sense of physical function.

Robin Ordell returns to his own No Time County with Nameless Salesmen EP

Berlin-based label Tokomak Records, run by Sirko Müller and Don Williams since 1999, returns from a creative hiatus. With the new "Rhythmic Pressure EP," Sirko Müller revisits the signature style of the label's early years, delivering four groovy techno tools designed for pure, excessive club use.

SNOMIR is the collaboration between Mirko Iobbi and Sabatino Matteucci, blending live musicianship with clubfocused electronic production. The A-side features “Air” and “Fire,” two jazz-driven house tracks where expressive sax lines glide over warm, groove-led rhythms. Organic, fluid and built for movement. On the B-side, “Caveman” shifts into deeper dub techno territory. Hypnotic structures, textured low-end and sax riffs woven directly into the sonic fabric.

The accompanying remix pushes the track further inward — stripped back, immersive and late-night focused.

Drumcode welcomes another debutant to the fold, as one of techno’s most exciting new artists, Space 92, shares his thrilling two-tracker ‘Time’.

Stepping up for his maiden Drumcode release, ‘Time’ is stirring statement of intent. Staying true to its name, the title track was a slow burner, produced over a number of months between touring commitments. The Hacker and Italo Moderni join forces with a masterful electro EP, guided by the French G.O.A.T. from Grenoble. Released in 2005, OK Cowboy is the debut studio album by Vitalic, a major figure in the French electronic music scene. It made a significant impact on the European electronic music scene and laid the foundations for Vitalic's distinctive style. Highly acclaimed by both national and international press, this album has become a classic of French electro and techno from the 2000s. Among its cult tracks are "La Rock 01," "My Friend Dario," and "Poney Part 1," played by some of the biggest names in electronic music. It was certified gold in France.

Inspired by Front 242, Skinny Puppy and Clock DVA, Arno and Tibor were fellow students at the Center of Electronic Music (CEM) in Arnhem, Netherlands during the mid 80's.



After getting a record deal with the Belgian Antler Subway, and started producing their first EP, originally meant as EBM. But since they were in the middle of proceeding, they took the chance to incorporate some of those influences in their first record, 'Force D'Inquisition', in 1990, which became one of the earliest Dutch house records.



Track A2 is the legendary 'Apocalypse', which was quite a hit at the time both in the EBM and acid scene, with gentlemen like Frankie Knuckles playing it in his sets.

Arno Peeters was later part of Random XS and Urban Electro and worked solo as Spasms on Djax-Up-Beats.

Alarico returns to Mutual Rytm with his 'Drops Of You' EP, packed with his mind-bending signature rhythms while focussing on a more minimal and atemporal approach than before.

Milan-based artist Alarico has firmly arrived on the world stage in recent years. Taking cues from the harder realms of techno of the 90s, he adds his own quirky rhythms and quickened sense of groove to showcase his modern take on the genre. Building on material dropping via his own Katana Records, with high-profile support from bigname DJs across the scene, he breaks new ground again here on this compelling new EP as he returns to SHDW's label Mutual Rytm with 'Drops Of You'.

Excellent opener '0 Kelvin' races out of the blocks with wiry synths and percussion that sounds like knives being sharpened, all over tight, punchy techno drums. 'One More' then gets more twisted with freaky synth line scurrying about the mix while hammering hits and bouncy drum programming races onwards into an unknown future.

'Asma' slips into a deeper but no less impactful groove - the tightly coiled drum funk is overlaid with soulful vocal whispers and militant snares that cannot fail to sweep dancers away. Next, the slick 'Sunburn' keeps the pace high and is another warp-speed techno excursion with bold drum patterns and dry hi-hats cutting up the beats. It's a fulsome sound fleshed out with great synth detail and euphoric vocal cries, before closer 'Drops Of You' layers broken beats, vocal snippets and psychedelic synth colours into an intense and emotional workout.

Alongside the vinyl cuts, three digital-only offerings are also loaded into this one as a trio of treats in the form of 'Sino', 'What For' and 'Erased', with each track harnessing pacy, energetic rhythms, a mix of bright and murky sonics, and tunnelling grooves crafted for maximum impact.

Following on from 2024's "Distant Landscapes EP" alongside Tensal, Amorphic returns (solo this time) to James Ruskin's Blueprint Records with a new ten-track album released digitally and as two four-track vinyl EPs released simultaneously.

Amorphic is a pseudonym of Scottish artist Vince Watson to explore more raw and hypnotic signatures. Launched in 2022, Amorphic has featured on labels such as Token, Symbolism and Modularz as well as the two labels Vince runs himself: Amorphic and Morph.

With almost 30 years in the industry, Vince has released over 1000 tracks, which has allowed him to work and gig with some of the very best in that time including Laurent Garnier, Richie Hawtin, Carl Craig and inthis year, Vince will release an LP with Carl Cox on his label Awesome Soundwave. As a touring musician has been able to play at some of the world's best clubs as both Amorphic and Vince Watson, including a residency at Tresor Berlin, DC10 Ibiza with Carl Cox, Berghain and Womb Tokyo as well as being a current resident of 909 Festival in Amsterdam.

KHT 008 is coming from no less than the man who is called The Prince of Techno' by his peers.
And that is for a reason: Blake was part of the first wave of Detroit techno artists and dis and contributed to the techno movement from the mid 80s. Tracks like When a dream becomes U' or Our love' are milestones of electronic music, his style, which he calls Poetry and Rhythm' is distinctive. For Killekill House Trax he delivers the Acid Life EP which comes along with two strong, acid driven tracks, the A-side darker and more chicago-oriented with its rhythmical focus and the punchy kick, the B-side more Detroit-ish with its uplifting chords.

Border One pushes his sound to new extremities with this latest EP on Token 'Spectral Tension'. Known for his driving, melodically abstract productions under eye twitching pressure, the Belgian artist takes his celestial signature and puts it to the test. While Boiled Wonderland continues to champion eclectic and boundary-pushing music, its sonic direction has evolved to embrace a more dancefloor-oriented approach. This shift reflects the label’s immersion in Bangkok’s electrifying club culture and the inspiration drawn from the city’s warm, sunlit atmosphere.

The Made From Moss series emerged from a creative dialogue between Chalo and label founder Vell. Moss, with its simplicity yet dynamic nature, became the symbolic foundation for a series focused on rhythmically driven, danceable tracks. This vision also sparked the creation of Mosspit events and welcomed MetalMetal as a core contributor.

Chalo’s opener, Feeling, weaves house-inflected vocals with acid synth lines, building a steady groove that carries effortlessly to the finish. Exos returns to Mutual Rytm for second standout EP, 'Icebreaker'.

A renowned global talent, Iceland's Exos was last on Mutual Rytm earlier this year with his successful 'Infrared' EP in April. The debut release on the label's new 10" vinyl X-Series, the EP picked up a wealth of high-profile plays while delivering an absorbing journey through techno soundscapes. The release was followed up by his 'Evil Nation' LP, exploring a harder, more intense approach to techno on his own Planet X imprint, ext to tunes on the likes of Figure and X/OZ. However, he returns with more skilfully crafted ammunition across five stand-out productions and two digital bonus gems on SHDW's burgeoning imprint for a second outing packed with his trademark sound spanning mystic yet driving and impactful spheres.

The package opens up with 'Voices Of Volcano', a powerful track with a monstrous low end and quickened drum kicks that compel you to march in time as the twisted synths peel away up top.
