After releasing with Chris Moss Acid on Shipwreck in 2014, Drvg Cvltvre is now back with a full EP of his own on Dutch label COS_MOS.
Since 2009, Vincent Koreman a.k.a. Drvg Cvltvre has been churning out his own acid, no wave and experimental house on labels like Viewlexx and Permanent Vacation and now kicks off the new year in style with three more inventive offerings.

'New Earth Army' is a slow, heavyweight and coarse track with rattling chords, angry percussion and elastic drums that manages to be physical and tough yet groovy and playful at the same time. 'We Have Become The Filth of the Universe' is a big, fat, heavy wedge of slow motion techno with monstrous drums and wild acid lines all spraying about wildly for the duration. It's a warehouse sized track that will reduce the 'floor to a writhing mess and finally 'Possessed' is a sci-fi riddled track with lots of spacey synths, filtered analogue lines and paranoid sirens all making for a turbulent brew of dark and otherworldly energy. Once again here Drvg Cvltvre proves he has a raw sound all his own.

Originally composed for a live performance commissioned by the Quai Branly Museum in Paris, French producer Low Jack was given access to the museums vast music library to use as a basis for this project.
In his research he focused on the Garifuna people of Honduras sampling parts of the music and composing a live set with some of these elements. With no intention to release this performance, the live recording was subsequently brought to the attention of L.I.E.S. Records and resulted in Low Jack returning to the the studio to re-create his set, thus the culmination of this lp. Rhythmic, tense, and hypnotic electronic music that lives in a grey area many are unwilling to step into. Mastered and cut by Matt Colton at Alchemy.

Moderat is the alliance of Berlin's electronic heavyweights, Modeselektor and Apparat. Like very few other artists they manage to fuse rousing basslines and intense breakbeats with gripping songs and a highly individual voice. With "Reminder", the three give a first impression of their anticipated third album. The strikingly beautiful song takes off where their 2014 hit "Bad Kingdom" left off. Developing a very personal combination of modesty and honesty, Apparat takes his vocal style to another level. The lyrics deal with the possibility of a new beginning: Instead of blaming others, we should assume responsibility for our situation. This is a liberating experience, it empowers us to let the debris go up in flames and have them lead the way to new experiences. Modeselektor underpin the beautiful vocals with subtle percussive grooves. As the icing on the cake, gleaming synthesizer sounds immerse the voice fully. With the exclusive track "Fondle" the trio expose a seldom seen side of their music. The slow, heavy groove alternates between a deep Chicago House Sound and hypnotic, drifting Dubstep. As a counterbalance to this deeply felt rhythmical heartbeat Moderat place elegiac, spherical sound scapes, while Apparat drifts off in a remote and dreamy state.

W WINGS are relatively new trio made up by the likes of Lit Internet, Lit Daw and Lit EYNE, who probably all have net art-leaning Tumblrs. W WWINGS come from the ashes of BWW WOYS. Of those three artists, you're most likely to be familiar with the first, whose mixtape/album "Angelysium" came out last year to critical acclaim. Now, they debut with Infinite Machine with a solid grime / experimental EP, or how they like to call it "depressive suicidal black metal music". Comprised by 4 tracks ,including one that features their long time collaborator ENDGAME.

Delsin Records welcomes back Dennis van Gemert aka Area Forty_One for a second EP on the label. It is a second part to the Nocturnal Passions series started back in 2013, and come five years after his first ever release, which was on Ann Aimee in 2011, once again fusing ambient with techno, downtempo and electro.

After the album - Barcelona', released in summer 2014, - Tough' is the second production of Hoshina Anniversary released on Boysnoize Records. With this release the Japanese DJ created another striking piece of work. The EP is composed of two original mixes: The intoxicating track 'Tough' and the more laid back song 'Motion Emotion D.I.C.E'. The rest of the EP contains remixes of 'Tough' by wide known DJs throughout the scene. The American techno Producer D'Marc Cantu who has previously released on Spectral Sound and Ghostly as part of the duo 2AM/FM. Greg Beato who just turned 21 but already released a few EP's on Apron Records and L.I.E.S. and the British DJ and producer Deadboy, who brought "Tough" with various new elements, enter a new stage. The collaboration of these four successful producers promises a truly brilliant new piece of art all combined into this EP.

Bleep are proud to release the debut EP of a mysterious producer named Zap Francis. These beats first aired on Black Milk's Boiler Room set about a year ago but other than that, not much is known about Zap Francis. When Black Milk (rapper and producer from Detroit) was questioned on where the tracks came from, he answered: 'Zap Francis gave them to me'.
With this debut E.P., Zap delivers 6 tracks of instrumental hip-hop that soundtracks journeys across intergalactic realms.

Collecting orders for REPRESS

A new four track EP by Hexagon aka Conforce on his own imprint. Doing what he does best. Making deep imaginary techno music with otherworldly authentic atmospheres without any concessions. The title track sucks you into desolate interstellar territories paying hommage to 606 rhythms with emotive strings on top that determine the total atmosphere of this killer advanced electro cut. Human meets machine in it's purest form. Pitch Black leans on accurate programmed heavy broken percussive patterns and is the most functional track of the EP. Functional but it's haunting atmosphere lifts this to a different dimension. Continuum dives deeper into sonic territory with a mysterious stealth missional vibe caused by it's unpredictable sparkling crispy effects and mysterious pads. Systematic Repetition leans on pulsating modular bleeps and dubby basses and is the most techno orientated cut of the whole EP. It wouldn't be a Conforce record if there weren't any strings and pads attached to it.

Ultramajic has lofty aims, uniting Edgar's twin passions for ritual magick and meditation while focusing on developing new artists and
a new personal sound. Having just wrapped up a summer of touring his collaborative JETS project with label partner Travis Stewart
aka Machinedrum, Mercurio suggests a restless energy honed by enthusiastic crowd response to the martial beats. The title track
"Mercurio" is a flurry of competing crescendos and fractured vocal samples over a bulbous bassline. "Qlinda" is equally celebratory,
utilizing microtonal shifts in the stereo field and exuberant sampling before morphing into a half-time ooze. "Ultraviolet" highlights
Edgar's special skill with modular synthesis to craft an electro-tinged jack, machines on the edge of collapse.
With artwork by longtime collaborator Pilar Zeta, Jimmy Edgar continues to play with new age philosophies and esoteric inspirations
in the deluxe, hand-crafted packaging for the label's releases.

Eclectic dance music activist Simone Gatto is set to release his debut album ‚Detachment' on New York based outlet Sheik 'N' Beik.

The album represents the path of life, the flow of time and the emotions occurring in human beings from their birth to death in an audio & visual experience.

Gatto's debut album also summarizes the artist's personal journey both musically and culturally. From a philosophical point of view Detachment is the process through which human beings implement a series of actions in order to search, find and maintain interior wellness. A means through which human beings can forget the capitalistic world and relive the essence of ethical values. Detachment is reuniting with its own spiritual sphere, allowing one to become immune to negative circumstances, imbalances, misconducts and pessimism.

Each track describes a way to relive, assimilate and react to events and memories of the past. This leads us to a stage of happiness and awareness, which is obtainable exclusively in places that are meaningful and in the company of people who are dear to us.

The album is punctuated by a lyrical voyage of discovery, including various elements of ambient music, electronic downbeat and techno. Simone touches sonorous and emotional extremes that are distant and deep at the same time.We encounter gloomy and luminous atmospheres, joyful and melancholic textures, loose and pressing rhythms characterize the audio visual journey throughout the twelve tracks. Feeling reminded of common life impressions, we experience the tracks like hybrids ranging between phases of tension, impasse, calm, wellbeing, discomfort, happiness and equilibrium.
The artwork and painting ‚Detachment' was commissioned by Giorgio Casu.

He worked to translate Simone's vision & feelings through the painting. Depicting emotions within a naturalistic scenery. While the painting will be showcased on the outside album artwork, the inside of the album contains a special collage from Simone's homeland which is an ideal location for spiritual isolation and full immersion in Detachment'.

Nach zwei Alben auf dem britischen Label Planet Mu (Heimat von Künstlern wie Mu-Ziq und Venetian Snares) schließen sich Solar Bears nun Sunday Best an. Als große Fans von David Lynch wurden sie auf das Label aufmerksam. "Advancement" hat alles, was etwa "Boards Of Canada"-Fans glücklich machen sollte. Psychedelische Soundscapes gekoppelt an modernste Elektronik, flirrende Ambient-Passagen genauso wie knackige Beats als Kontra-Punkt.

Wurde schon der Vorgänger "Supermigration" mit reichlich Lob bedacht, führt "Advancement" das Konzept nun weiter. Die beiden Musiker David Kowalski und Rian Trench aus Dublin haben sich abermals mit dem amerikanischen Film-Regisseur Micheal Robinson zusammengetan, der das Werk mit einer Serie von Video-Clips im Netz begleitet. So finden die sowieso Soundtrack-geeigneten Stücke eine großartige visuelle Entsprechung. Der Clip zur ersten Auskopplung "Wild Flowers" gewährt einen ersten Eindruck.

The second 12" on Bandulu affiliate, Hi5Ghost's Paper Cranes imprint! Two cuts from fast-rising Bristol producer Lamont. 'Pondering' is first up on the disc, featuring Beezy on vocals, setting the murky tone over a gully, low-slung roller - razor sharp fragments fling out from below the elasticated low-end and the precise bounce of the drum pattern, sure to give the rig a good test. Flip it around for more instrumental goodness, this time it's Lamont on his ones - 'Shadows' proves his skill in the field of nu-age darkside garage music once again.

This disc comes served in hand-numbered and stickered sleeve, vinyl-only edition of 300.

Two analogue industrial-inspired massive tracks from Boys Noize. The A-side features a darkly processed spoken club mantra- "Midnight, 1am, 2am, 3am, 4am... 9am, 10, let's do it again" - over rough breaks and distorted, cavernous bass making it a hauntingly effective dancefloor tool for any time of night (or morning).

The flip, "Los Ninos," is an impeccable nod to classic EBM and New Beat that could be passed off as a lost production from decades ago. If Liasons Dangereuses, Frankie Goes to Hollywood and Silent Servant had children together, they would be "Los Ninos." Huge energy!

Off the back of his release for Livity Sound, Timedance label boss returns for his most expansive work to date. The Monolith EP is comprised of three original tracks and a remix from renowned PA artist, Lee Gamble.

Inspired by the relationship between light and dark timbres, the title track takes on a low-slung, hypnotic pace.

"Reez" expands on this downtempo feel, focusing on a more dubwise aesthetic.

The B-side opener "Void" is an infectious, gradually building loop. Strong emotive melodies set the track apart from the artists' usual "headsdown" style. Lee Gamble's Reez remix deconstructs the propulsive nature of the original track into a hazy fog, closing the EP with a bold nish.

For their first Record Store Day vinyl, Dusky's 17 Steps unveil a much requested club cut from the label bosses themselves in 'Buckets'. A dark, murky groover full of heaving basslines, swampy beats and cut-up soul vocals, 'Buckets' has been popping up in Dusky mixes for a couple of years, earning it cult status amongst their hardcore following and making it a perfect choice for a limited collectors vinyl. It comes backed with a twisted two-step remix from Swamp 81's Paleman.

This record is wrapped in a funeral card which has to be
presented at the entrance to the funeral party.

The Friend brings us 4 tracks of sludge techno straight from the source in Detroit, from the creeped out stylings of ROOM(S), the bleeped out techno of STAR, the menacing groove of BENT and pure bass with STRIPPING.
L/F/D/M (loves flacid disco muscle) drops 4 varied tracks for this, from the full on raging acid techno of BELTON, the intricate drones of DROME V II, creepy sex loops on 88 and the degraded synths of UNTRUTHS.

The force known as 33.10.3402 has built a cult following in certain circles through the years with his adventerous production approach and execution.
With numerous releases on labels such as ESP Institute, KUNSTKOPF, and most recently Second Circle we now see his appearence for the first time on L.I.E.S.

33.10.3402 perfectly balances his sound and presentation with this three track effort where we hear tones and rhythms that can go from baleric to metal beat in the blink of an eye. With looming clouds clearing for the light of day and then back again, these tracks sonically play with the emotions and serve equally as dancefloor cuts or for home listening bugout sessions.

Ever find yourself on a long escalator in a train station An undistinguishable robot voice is coming from the intercom. You move effortlessly on this machine, yet you do not understand the sounds coming towards you. This is the essence of 'Vestibule.' Followed by the ecstatic rhythms on 'Rising', these two make a colorful A Side in contrast to the black and grey of Solpara's previous releases.
The B Side features two remixes, one by the prolific L'estasi Dell'oro and the other by the newest member of the Booma roster: Belgium Lights. L'estasi Dell'oro questions the four to the floor pattern of the original track and pops it upside down, like the negative of a photograph, giving it an unexptected bounce with marvelously swung hi hats. Belgium Lights takes a deeper approach to the remix and stretches it out to almost 9 minutes, pulling us down the escalator, at a faster pace and through a darker tunnel.

Art Mechanical's Junq, showcases his futuristic acid electro on 303 Days on Kepla-47c , Syncom Data further the acid heat with UnphAzD (Strings Attached mix). On the flip we have a rare outing from Microthol, who lay down mod_electro_mix4, a chiming stripped back cut that reminisces of the early noughties. Finally Etcher's Departure brings his quirky acid to close off the EP.
