For Our first DEXT EP of 2019 we welcome Otik to step up for his follow up release to “Deep Red EP” that dropped on DEXT early 2017 , since then Otik has had solid release’s on labels such as Keysound recordings & Midlands Intergraded.

This EP see’s the London based Bristolian on the usual rugged form we have come to expect, with grimey broken beats lots off bottom end sub action and cascading synths. On The B – Side we welcome Bruce who reworks the lead track “Dioxide” into a wonky bassline roller guaranteed to cause maximum damage on the dancefloors in the early hours.

The EP compiled by various artists also showcases the new image of our label: the warrior in action. These special edition vinyl represent the philosophy of our label, a vision!

Pelacha works with 4x4 rhythms in her track titled ʻAsteroidʼ resulting in a very groovy track, with Detroit touches and pads that accompany and enrich the trip, leading us into a climax of delicious rhythms.
Serkin then takes us through a beautiful landscape of emotions contained within a melody, reaching us deep inside the heart with ʻSomething in The Skyʼ, a structured track in the style of IDM where musicality and rhythms break in a sublime yet orderly manner.

K3rn3l Pøissøn surprises us once again with his far out vision of the future. ʻSwagger Particlesʼ, a finely chiselled track, which envelops us in a plethora of hammered out beats and deep cuts that stand strong together in motion.

Finally, Trømmel introduces us to the world of breaks with his broken rhythms and bounding vibe. ʻTime Is Running Outʼ is simplicity and creativity all rolled into one, resulting in a track high in calibre and low in frequency.

Produced in the beginning of 2019 in Huehuetenango(Guatemala) and final mix down and additional production in spring 2019 in Verona(Italy), the 2x12" LP draws on the project's roots in order to locate itself in the modern day. string of club bangers combined with convulsive breaks and bleepy motifs dive into electro-acid-wave. The 10 tracks includes a collaboration with 80s italian new wave band Victola. Victrola is the duo of Antonio "Eze" Cuscinà and Carlo Smeriglio from Messina, Italy. The band formed in 1979 but shortly thereafter relocated to Florence take part in a rich musical scene alongside Neon, Pankow, Alexander Robotnick, and Diaframma. Since the launch of his imprint Istheway in 2015, Verona-based producer Omar Contri aka Shinoby has laid the foundations to a fruitful body of work that defies categories and easy classification.

SIWEI returns with a 6 track EP, this time showcasing a more cinematic take on his universe with four deeply textured broken beat offerings, while Dawn Of Dawn and Fast Forward Flashback are guaranteed to put your dance floor in third gear.

This fairy tale tells the story of four domestic animals, who after a lifetime of hard work are neglected and mistreated by their former masters. They decide to go to Hoot, known for its freedom, to live without owners and become musicians. Contrary to popular belief, they would never make it to their destination. However along the way they succeed in tricking and scaring off a band of robbers, capturing their spoils, and moving into their house at the sea. This is where the first chapter of our band of brothers begins.

Pyramid Transmissions starts the new decade with another trademark release of full on Futuristic, non generic Electro music to celebrate 20 years of our beloved Label. As always we give a first vinyl release to several artists which is the cornerstone of the PT way.

ALIEN TRANSMISSIONS Vol 1 is a 4 track EP from some of the best underground artists around from various different countries.
First off is Veronica Green, hailing from Sweden but based in London too, she has been making music for many years and has had releases on Section 27, Crobot Musik, Touched and her very own and very coveted Earthlings Compilations with partner ADJ.

Next up is one of our previous PT Artists, Hatch has been around for 30 years on the underground scene in both the UK and California. He has released on various labels including Earthlings, Section 27 and our own PT label.

On the flip we start with Dave Flint, one half of the amazing Flint Kids. He has been making Underground Electro and IDM for a decade or so with Danny Nolan on their label Interakt but we are proud to present his first solo release with this squelchy acid electro masterpiece.
2nd track on the flip is by Errorbeauty and Serge Geyzel, hailing from Bulgaria and Russia respectively but based in Berlin.

They have both released seperately on Errorbeauty's Arkada vinyl label and Battery Park Studio, Earthlings and separately on Outlaw 303, Combat, Crobot Muzik and more.

This is the first of a number of releases lined up for our 20th year

PYRAMID TRANSMISSIONS, UNDERGROUND FOR LIFE !!!!!

Assemble Music returns in 2021 with its 25th release: a 5-track heavyweight compilation featuring a handful of the finest electronic acts in Portugal and two well sought after internationals.
Population One a.k.a. Terrence Dixon, having released in iconic labels such as Metroplex, Tresor, Rush Hour and Jeff Mills’ imprint Axis in the last decades, kicks off this record with ‘Unfolding’ some Detroit Techno cargo (A1), followed by a hypnotizing, spiraling acidic Techno bomb - ‘Acid Grind’ (A2) - courtesy of the Algarve duo Roundhouse Kick. Prolific Portuguese DJ and producer, formerly based in The Netherlands, Lake Haze finishes off this first side with the Electro infused, twisted ‘Acid Warfare’ (A3).
Over to the B side, Roma Zuckerman, originally from Siberia and also releasing a double LP on Nina Kraviz’s трип this year, pulls off a classic fast-paced Acid groove on ‘We Call Its Acidomine’ (B1), while the Lisbon duo 2Jack4U takes us to a dream party land with the anthem ‘Acid 00010’ (B2)
Surely a must-have tool for an upcoming post-pandemic rave!

Wonderfully wayward electronic vectors from Dorchester's Yaaard, aka Chris Catlin, overseer of sleeping giant Reckno Records. How to Download a Glass of Water compiles work spanning the breadth of Yaaard's conscious output - from gorgeously folding magma through to serrated dancehall and icy r'n'b introspection. This LP contains two previously unreleased tracks: the lo-fi slow-burner "Forses", and "What Now", a soaring outsider pop duet with Teresa Winter (The Death of Rave).

How to Download a Glass of Water will be pressed to a limited run of 300 records, with artwork by Paul Greenan and Chris Catlin. A giant A0 print of Paul's cover art will also be available. Out May 31.

After more than a decade of deep, expansive productions on labels such as Detroit Underground and CPU, Annie Hall arrives on MUSAR for a record typically rich in texture and understated grooves.

Opening track 'Linium' immediately seduces listeners with a complex drum pattern that somehow feels spacious, subtly twisting and turning its way around Hall's analogue world. Dutch artist Mattheis maintains this understated feel but adds a soft, compelling kick in response on his suspenseful remix of 'Lavandula'. The original, moodier version of this cut the follows to open the B side, gradually erupting around a killer distorted bassline. The EP continues to hit a more urgent note with the tense machinations of 'Silene', where dense layers of stuttering, frenetic drums interweave with Hall's trademark, melancholy keys. The record concludes on a weightless, transcendent note with 'Santolina', taking each visceral element featured thus far and slowing each down, with affecting results.

Indebted to vintage electro and IDM, Hall's music is no throwback, always looking forward and moving dancefloors in the most unexpected ways.

Curtis Electronix follows up on CEM3340 - Suburbs Disorder LP with a master from the Motor City. Dj Nasty aka Detroit's Filthiest is one of the original creators of the Ghettotech sound in the early 90's. 4 tracks made of dirty bass, soulful strings and hi speed 808 patterns. Distant Worlds returns to the fray for 2021, following the runaway success of last year’s Guidance Release EP from Cignol. Here we see the label reaching the lofty heights of their tenth release with an absolute beauty from Malta-based Sound Synthesis, himself fresh from a mighty fine run of form of late.

Melodic, warm electro with heart tugging melodies and gut punching beats are all present and correct: all but the coldest hearts will be melted by the euphoric chords, attention to detail and keen ear for a melodic hook prevalent throughout this fine release. Energetic yet emotional, Sound Synthesis succeeds here in bringing elements of acidic electro and transcendent soul tinged braindance sensibilities to the pot.

Lead track, ‘Planet Hope’ is a deeply personal journey with a musical message of positivity wrapped up in the utopian optimism of all the finest electronica. ‘Thinking of You’ continues in the same vein, all beautiful atmospheres and melodic flourishes culminating in a masterful soul-tinged breakdown.

Flip over for another assault on the emotional jugular with ‘Transmission of Life’ before rounding off with the acid tinged psychedelic hypnotism of ‘Spiral Reverb’.
