PAWSA is a man making waves across the globe, with his charismatic style and unmistakable flair in commanding dancefloors. Cue PAWZ013 - two club ready, vinyl only weapons that clearly demonstrate PAWSA's power.

Kicking things off, the A side houses 'On Yer Feet' showcasing a beautiful simplicity in PAWSA's production, proving that when every element works in synergy, there's no need to clutter a mix. Marrying a rolling beat and crisp percussion with a bass weight that drives the track, the foundations are laid for an infectious, mantra-like vocal to capture minds and move bodies. The vocal breakdown is destined to be the catalyst for fabled club sit downs the world over, with the drop providing sure fire hands in the air euphoria.

On the B side a brooding, machine evoking bassline and thumping kick are complimented with claps and hats that cut right through in 'For The Few'. Adding in off beat synth stabs, the combination with the mechanical bass is bound to draw dancers into a trance inducing state.

Karl Kave makes his appearance on Lux Rec for their first release in 7" format. Four terse tracks influenced by his past experiences, high and low as they come, tumultuous thoughts and life events. The result is a sombre nostalgia for all that is not there anymore. Coming from Rheintal, a valley on the eastern part of Switzerland, he uses English, German and his native Swiss dialect to sing. Dive into it, meet sadness.

Listening to a vinyl record, as you would read a book, is one of the last action where we are not surveilled, analyzed, spied by a technologic company. Nor we are constantly disrupted by messages, advertising or else. This act of resistance helps an alternative technology, such as printed culture, to survive. Another Repeat Repeat Repeat outing, another ILK reissue. EP 3 was licensed along with Four Freqs EP to round things off. This time breakbeats dominate over the 4/4 patterns with the help of "Phase 2" and "Qwerks", but "Vicious" reminds us that linear grooves are still in the game.

In the time before ideas when human life was not even a consideration evolution began. Water from a turbulent sky flowed off virgin Earth into the pools and rivers of creation Meteors coursing the the heavens were intercepted by the mother in order to bring to her the elements needed for her primordial cauldron. 'Origins' by Planetary brings you to this genesis. Your mind swims through the primeval ocean warm with life creation and you witness the beginning. When the music stops your mind and body return to the world of the sentient but you never forget your Origins.

The EP labirinto 2020 marks a welcome back from Spacetravel that combined the tough, futuristic groove with a solid techno influence full off effect.

The horn of plenty arrives at your door, full of freshly harvested produce. It contains fruits of artists you already know and from others waiting to be introduced to you. Don’t be afraid though – they are only your new neighbours. Clear Memory Farms recommends this five track Various Artist EP: EDM-free, sustain-able, enriched with biodynamic electro spells and mystic funk chants. Have a try at this asymmetric game but don’t be surprised to turn into a hairy rebel. Is it worth it? Will you experience all die goede dingen? Maelstrom links up with DeFeKT and Berlin syndicate Mechatronica, to deliver four bloodcurdling electro and techno cuts for the floor, forcefully designed to activate bodies and transport minds.

Doug Lee returns to the label under his AN-I moniker, this time collaborating with prolific Greek producer Unhuman on a new four track ep. This is what happens when you take all the right elements of techno, punk and industrial music and smash them together; a fucked up and devastating hybrid of blistering modern electronics. Heavy, but not stark by any means, Lee channels his inner Liasions with his vocal performace through the record. Most notably this is heard on the cut Entschuldigung, snotty laughs and scattered barks accent the stuttered drums and ms-20 feedback; Lee bringing it all together in a sarcastic funked up fashion. Five to Nine sees both producers complimenting each other expertly, clocking in with the most "dancefloor" cut on the ep...a twisted five minutes of screaming psychedelic dance that reaches an epic anti-climax of sorts. A true hit for those who know how to use it right, not to be missed.

The Russian cats are rolling frozen melons on you this winter. Slow hypnotic grooves that will cool you down on the dancefloor, and A Vega style to heat you up on your way home through the snow wheel. This will get you through the night alright.

‘Dreams of empty spaces’ is the second release from Electro Label Suborder. With that new EP, French based producer NGA doesn’t bother about flourish and goes straight to the point. Expect nothing but 3 dancefloor killers. Every track is a pure piece of Minimalistic Electro which will perfectly fit in every highskilled DJ set. Whatever the side you choose to play, you can count on that mix of metallic
basslines, 808 drums and hypnotizing keyboards, to activate clubbers body mechanics.

Teatre hails from Lithuania, a place especially dear to the Lux Rec team both for personal and musical reasons. For his first vinyl release Teatre produced six tracks which span from powerful, vital straightness to brooding resonant laments.

This record would not have been possible without Ernestas Sadau, Roman Sputnik, Kestutis Lingys and Eivydas Kantautas of Digital Tsunami. Nor without Kotryna Lingiene, who helped finding and contacting Paulius Lileikis (the photographer), and Paulius, that granted the permission to use the picture on the front cover.

This very one Lost Boy from Brazil washed ashore the Lowlands' 'Finis Terrae', a produce of first-generation 'Shock Doctrine' and a real 'carioca' borne on the New World's 'Bossa Nova' and 'Esplendor Geometrico' of old 'Ancien Regime' para-military junta hat delivers quite some maximally dark and manic minimal wave of late, at times even slightly reminiscent of Siouxsie and the Banshees and of Joy Division, and all sung through old and charming, slightly dissonant 'Samba' melody lines vaguely hailing from certain sinister up-hill 'Cicade de Deus' margins of a distinctly distant 'Vagamundo' Purgatory past in either the Portuguese, the English or the Spanish tongues, rendering the paranoia 'facsimile in Limbo' of the coming Futurist Global Orderly State, this deep-state 'Novo Estado Novo' within the current 'Nova Bossa Nova', this 'Guerra Nova Prometheida por uma Terra Nova Prometida', the World's Electronic New Wave 'Fado' of Digital Panopticon and similar forms of purely A.I.-bot-generated (nothing personal!) Totalitarian Torture 'Technique du coup d'Etat' in genuine random numbers as already foreseen and shown to all some long time before in the Magic Green on that 'Funky Dollar Bill', 'Novus Ordo Seclorum'... °s is inspired by patterns in urban nature: language; behaviour; seasons, and alongside poetry, explores the cyclical psychological peaks and troughs experienced during the pandemic. Live multi-instrumental improvisations apply the fibonacci sequence to create melodies and rhythms that mimic fractal patterns in nature, and are situated within binaural field recordings captured during essential travel in the first lockdown.

As Toolroom Trax marks it's 100th release, it felt only right to have one of electronic dance music's most prominent duo crown the milestone, none other than Booka Shade. This limited-edition vinyl also includes a very special remix from head honcho, Mark Knight.

'Trespass' is a seminal record, first released in 2006 as part of the 'Night Falls' EP. Fast forward to 2019 and Booka Shade have given it a fresh lick of paint and it's now primed for today's tougher, more Techno orientated floors.

Mark Knight's remix showcases his trademark sound; a peak-time Tech Houser stacked with plenty of energy. It's a classy and well-polished remix with a fine level of production as always from the Toolroom main man. This is a huge reinterpretation from the boss... and trust us when we say it goes OFF!
