Italian producer Roberto Semeraro aka Pearl River Sound drops his first collaboration with Z.I.P.P.O on Fides called ‘VST Intended’. Combining IDM, Jungle and Acid elements this record reminds of to the early AFX, Luke Vibert , U-Ziq primal sounds. Completing this package on the B side two stomping remixes by Clone Records affiliate Ryan James Ford and Electro mysterious producer 2030.

Releases on Silent Servant's Jealous God imprint in 2015 and the 6-1-6 cassette on Total Black in 2016 served as formative sonic gateways leading up to this album, as we hear 51717 expand on her cold minimalist sound design.

The music on 'Paranoia Star' is a collection of songs composed during various points and throughout travels between 2013-2018. Thematically, much of it revolves around inherited and lived traumas, taken in, processed, and finally transmuted into sound. Shades of modern computer music minimalism, Concrete experimentalists, and good ol' DIY American smut electronics (ala John Zewizz's 'Women of the SS' project) come to mind through this recording. Haunting vocals float next to jagged synth lines, primative pulses set a tone as the message is carried out to the listener.

Field recordings from domestic and ancestrally charged locales mesh with primitive electronic composition, forming a narrative via repetition, moving stillness, restraint, and tension. 51717 keeps her sonic sources hidden, rather focusing on the transmission and decay of overwhelming thematic elements into minor sonic forms.

Here, her work touches on implicit musical tensions between noise and silence, language and sound, material and transcendence.
Unnerving and spacious, yet disturbingly uncomfortable, 'Paranoia Star' emerges slow, furious, erotic, wet with thousands of years of violence informing the whole.

Culminating at 430m of altitude, mount Aïdour has been looking over the city of Oran for centuries. Legendary tales and myths are born in this place that have been inspiring writers through generations. It is there that the seeds and the roots of this record were planted, inspiring me to tell a story as well. 4 tracks about 4 destinations through a country of splendor. From North to South, East to West, from one century to another.Based on local field recordings associated with modern machines, this is the continuation of the legends started generations ago.

Bab is a member of French collectives 404 and Pardonnez Nous. He's currently making a documentary about Algerian Raï music which led him to visit the country multiple times recently and inspired him to do this dark and haunted EP, reminiscing of Muslimgauze.

Frontmaschine is a french band created by Hérve and Louis. The alchemy of a father/son duo who experience with the ambiance, the sounds and the samples. Front 242 and D.A.F are their main influences. The music offered fluctuates from indus to old school, and from German to English vocals. Kept on the back burner for a while, the debut album by the Belgium-based producer and Vastechoses label honcho couldn’t have come out at a more convenient time. Keeping with the madness that we all have buried within ourselves, Degenerate Brain sounds like it’s been recorded and corrupted by some artificial intelligence in the grips of mental disorder and paranoia. Frantically exhibiting a wide stylistic palette by means of irradiated kicks laid out on top of distressed electronic modulations; worn out electro bangers and slo-mo keepsakes from imaginary performances to crooked minimal wave ramblings led by a man-machine flying off the handle. A seemingly meaningless stroll orchestrated by a mind that has lost control over some data dump coming in hot — which may fry your brain unless you manage to pull yourself out before it’s too late.

Coming into orbit late November PS001.2 continues the dancefloor focussed explorations of one of Australia’s most loved new labels, Pure Space. Just in time for the Aussie summer the release highlights the sound of the new generation of electro and broken-beat producers emerging from the countries east coast.

On the A-side Point Guard returns to the label with his razor-sharp electro outing ‘Odyssey’. An emotional expedition that harnesses dancefloor euphoria with a powerfully burning bassline. Joining forces to complete the A side is Melbourne producer Disrute and label head Andy Garvey. Here an ever-evolving synthline propels you forward throughout the track that builds infinitely but pauses just to release Garvey’s mesmerising vocal, ‘NRG’.

Flip the axis and you will find swirling synths and scattered percussion that creates the murky club weapon that is emerging Sydney producer PMA’s ‘Hek’. Completing the release, Roy Mills brings you to a full rotation with ‘Aquatic Pressure’. His jittery breakbeat cut that slows to a half step mid way and returns with odd-ball synth mayhem.

Population One, also known as Terrence Dixon, offered a first remix of his mysterious, minimal Detroit track 'Rush Hour' for the celebration of the label's 10th anniversary and now blesses us with new takes on five 'Hippnotic Culture' album tracks. The impressive 'Hippnotic Culture' LP was originally released in 1995 on the long defunct Utensil label, which was run by Claude Young.

"Bittersweet" brings three hard hitting electro works and one lush electro-tech track from Silicon. In a time of world chaos and disorder "The strap, Noise, and Worms" reflect this with double meaning lyrics and sonic push reminiscent of old Silicon productions. "Wish" brings the feeling of sweet hope and that all will be well with a crisp and clean sonic push.

Launch of a new series of Various Artists 12inches to be released on Night Defined Recordings, which will serve as a platform for the existing NDR label family as well as for new faces. If you’re after a respite, you’ll have to wait or feck off home. “HDF-S” wades in. Similar to his sibling in terms of rancorous rhythms, this beast drips with 303 sweat and venom with just a touch of salvation in those soaring notes. Boris Brenicki, of Ontal fame, ends with his own sepulchral take on “Nosferatu.”

Angesiedelt im Spannungsfeld von Future Bass, Electro, Techno und Hip-Hop, widmen sich Gernot Bronsert und Sebastian Szary der Dekonstruktion von Musik-Genres, zerlegen diese in ihre atomaren Einzelteile und fügen sie nach Lust und Laune wieder neu zusammen. Als Gäste wirken Jackson & His Computerband sowie der legendäre Dub-Sänger Paul St Hilaire auf zwei Stücken mit. "Extended“ erscheint als CD und Tape. Darüber hinaus werden drei EPs ab Ende April im monatlichen Rhythmus veröffentlicht, die sich jeweils einem Track des Mixtapes mit Gesangsbeiträgen, Neuinterpretationen und Remixen widmen. Zudem hat der Tänzer Corey Scott-Gilbert eine choreografierte Interpretation von "Extended" kreiert, die in Zusammenarbeit mit Krsn Brasko und Tobias Staab in dem 60-minütigen Tanz-Video "Work" mündete, das begleitend zum Release des Mixtapes veröffentlicht wird.

The opener Black Crown is a brooding industrial, almost power electronics assault. Above Thee Below Thee is a powered-up disco nightmare with Black Metal-like vocals, drenched in factory steam and urban filth. Take Me Higher has some sort of electro-funk bassline to it. The closing track is a 155 bpm epitaph reminiscent of Czech doomcore pioneers Fifth Era.
The past is gone, the future is corrupted. The is no time but the present to brutally unload this Existential Nihilism thus let The Ultimate Climax unfold.
