Yes, he's back with a huge follow up, after his first impress he left with "Down". His decision to work with the wonderful and unique voice of Soniamiki was just magnificient. Marlon Krupa is well known in the Minimal Techno Szene because of his digital releases, which always climed the highest positions in digital download charts. It's high time to introduce him to the friends of vinyl. With his minimal remix, he will impress! At least, Racso and Jenn pushed the Original in their different kind of styles and generate at all, a record with a high variety of sound and styles. Taste the full-bodied flavour of the night!

The Man With No Shadow - shady name for a respectable dj. Gaining notoriety as co-founder and resident of the infamous GZG raves, he is now one of Holland's most wanted technojocks. Representing the underground with a stern smile towards the mainstream, he's winning over crowds across the Netherlands and beyond. A matter of timing or just a captivating choice of records Who's to say. Somehow The Man never fails to supply magical moments.

New 12" heat from DJ Spider and Hakim Murphy on Plan B Recordings called Kaiju EP. Inspired by the giant monster fights that were part of the Saturday
rotations of network TV in the 70's and 80's sparked the inspiration for this 6 track EP. Four futuristic bangers accompanied with two ambient soundscape pieces that take you on a ride through murky beats and lush sound textures. Super banging Chicago-New York hybrid release for the new year!

Again 4 Tracks Tribal Latin Tech House from the brazilian newcomer JPhilipps! After releasing his widely acclaimed 'Sexy Success' ep on Amazing Records, Brazilian hot new producer JPhilipps is back on MiniCoolBoyz' label with a brand new four tracker, showing once more his unique talent in creating tribalistic groove-infused dancefloor hits. Title track 'Samba Do Futuro''s big tough bass and rootsy feel go hand in hand with its powerful array of jungle sounds and carioca football game whistles. A quirky vibraphone riff spices up the whole 7 minutes and 54, while rollicking percussions add a colourful twist to the boisterous break. 'I Like' more straightforward techno approach and distorted vocals lead the way to fat synth stabs and in-your-face rim-shot sounds. 'Baile', as the title suggests, is pure tech-house designed to get the crowd going crazy during peak time disco hours, with high-pitched toms, delayed claps and an addictive upbeat South-American mood. 'Star Criminal (feat. Ilka Oliver)' is built around a funky bass line, dark vocal snippets and piano chords, and is without any doubt the most eccentric and off-the-wall of the package. With this ep, the Rio De Janeiro native delivers a fine example of electronic music mixed with the warm sounds of his own cultural heritage; an ep which is set to ignite the summer clubs all over the world and get the party-goers shake their bodies following the rhythm.

Expect to get lured into the Purple Maze with this third release by the Dutch imprint, once again by mysterious producer Yør with his 'Modern Slaves Of Contemporary Contexts EP'.
Expect to get lured into the Purple Maze with this third release by the Dutch imprint, once again by mysterious producer Yør with his 'Modern Slaves Of Contemporary Contexts EP'. Again it will be a shadowy and esoteric dancefloor experience like few others.
The EP starts with 'ABCM', a dystopian landscape of buzzing machines, ticking percussion and raw drums that builds and builds until eventually coalescing into a foreboding and roughshod house groove. The sound of circling space ships, dangling glass tubes and other odd effects flesh out the groove into something really quite intense.
'Dystopia' continues in Yør's tradition of contrary titles, because it's in fact a soothing cut doused in ambiance that relaxes you after the agro ride that went before. There are some bumpy beats underneath the whole thing but the large spaces above are what mostly occupy your mind, before 'Fear And Desire' comes over like a deep, spare Redshape cut: searching synths, a fine grain texture and plenty of disheveled Detroit vibes.
Closer 'Phaedra's Love' is a scuffed deep house kicker with delicate tambourines, somber buried melodies and a only the faintest sense of optimism muffled in its concealed core... Modern Slaves Of Contemporary Contexts, then, is another great EP from an unordinary sonic world.

Delving into darker more techy realms, the unstoppable Hot Creations imprint welcomes M-nus favourite Heartthrob with 'Odyssey' - two original cuts straddling the boundaries of house and techno, filled with glacial atmosphere, moody melodics and serious dance floor drive.
Steaming in with a powerful pumping bass and dense, mischievous chords, title track 'Odyssey' is a tech-house dream of the highest stature. Metallic drips echo in the deep waters, while pacey percussions soon creep into the mix, rolling a tight and trippy rhythm. Spacey electronic keys swell and rise through the top tiers creating a cosmically charged hypnotic wave, which is destined to swarm your senses.
Moving into darker territory, 'Liar' sets off with heavy-duty bass, subtle claps, shakes and deep, moody keys. Tense breakdowns escalate into sinister, dramatic synths, while the dark vocal haunts create an alluring energy, both seductive and disturbing. Progressing into sensational synth patterns, the track has a compelling energy, without losing its dark and moody edge.
Originally from Michigan, U.S.A, Jesse Siminski aka Heartthrob soon became an integral member of the M-nus family and still resides in Berlin where he continues to explore his passion for music. Venturing from his M-nus home ground for this special release, Jesse makes a fresh and distinctive leap with this new project for Hot Creations. Thrilled to have the M-nus legend on-board, the label continues its musical evolution.

Upon its release in 2011 Narcosa quickly garnered support and love from Tobi Neumann, Ellen Allien, Steve Bug, John Selway and Anthony Collins, to name a few. The WetYourSelf! crew now release a killer remix package as they enlist the talent of Jennifer Cardini, Faster and Luke Solomun to reinterpret Cormac's cerebral techno ballad of 2011 ‚ "Narcosa", as well as showcasing an all-new original from Cormac.
The Original track on this release, "Haus", sees Cormac's continue his exploration of the Machina-Melancholia he has been refining over his past few records. Drum vocabulary is provided courtesy of the Roland-TR legacy, whilst subtle textures and sound design form a decisive nod to modern and established techno methodologies. Deep, fresh and seductively satisfying, this tune was designed for the discerning dancefloor.
Jennifer Cardini delivers an delirious wayward journey into Cormac's Narcosa. Deep synth notes, murky textures and drum machine hits are soaked in reverb. This mix recalls the work of Goblin and the glacial sounds of the 80s underground. Cardini has created an incredible hypnotising lullaby soundtrack for the now.
Offering up a streamlined dish in minimalism, Romanian talent Faster constructs an elegant labyrinth of percussive dub textures and sinusoidal tones whilst a firm kick drum and fast shuffling hats propel the track toward serious dancefloor language.
Luke Solomon takes us on a journey of a post-dystopian disco where human beings have been replaced by machines and robots who have learnt to dance. A dangerously funky bassline threatens to consume all with the help of flying hi-hat saucers and an armada of synths, pads and textures. An authoritarian voice creeps out from the wilderness. If DBX had been commissioned to soundtrack 1984 in a futuristic alternative universe, it would probably sound something like this.

incl Marcel Dettmann remix !!!
Count Backwards features Emikas characteristically frail, saccharine vocal turn resting atop a dubby tangle of beats and bleeps. This is her third single for Ninja Tune.
The single is remixed by British dubstep producers Kryptic Minds who have released several albums, their latest, Lost All Faith, on their own Defcom Records last year. Marcel Dettmann transforms the original song into a deep Techno meditation for which Emika re- sang the vocals. Dettmann is a producer and resident DJ resident at the legendary Berlin club Berghain. He released his debut album Dettmann on the club's label, Ostgut Ton, last year

Fergie (aka Robert Ferguson), a DJ of international standing for the past decade, has never had a stronger and more vibrant aural identity. Playing the kind of music he wants, determined not to be held back by perceptions and tags from the past, he continues to be a global representative for electronic music by consistently breaking down underground barriers and bringing new music to the people, without compromise.
There is no doubt that Fergie has rmly re-established himself as a producer of innovative exciting music that really takes a hold of you. Having dedicated himself to the studio and totally immersing himself in his passion for music, this has been a true labour of love for Fergie:
'I just wanted to go back and take time to rediscover what the music meant to me; how it made me feel, the buzz, the excitement. To nd a sound that would reect my individuality as a DJ and producer and in some way to recapture all of that in my productions' (Fergie).
Clearly he has found his sound and the results are very evident in the free ow of original productions and remixes being consistently supported by the likes of Sasha, John Digweed, Carl Cox, Richie Hawtin, Laurent Garnier, Slam, Umek, James Lavelle and Hell amongst many others. Underground cuts that blur genre divides have rmly established him as a proven seal of production quality.
Tracks like 'Maktub', which picked up incomparable support in 2009 and was found in Richie Hawtin's Essential Mix live from the Exit Festival as well as him starting sets with it throughout that summer. Carl Cox, one of Fergie's biggest supporters of late (describing Excentric Muzik as his label of 2008) licensed it for 2 of his compilations that year (Global Underground 'Black Rock Desert' and 'Carl Cox...At Space'). The track also received heavy duty support from Dubre, Gregor Tresher, Umek and Phil Kieran amongst many others, all regularly found championing the Fergie sound.
There's the Fergie remixes of 'Umek - Gatex' and 'Slam - Positive Education' remixes that have achieved legendary status amongst fans and still demand huge interest on Youtube and download sites. Both started out as exclusives for him to play at his Shine (Belfast) and Pressure (Glasgow) gigs respectively, although it was clear from the initial reactions they could not be left unreleased.
His studio output has shown no signs of slowing down, recent hits 'Konguro', 'Motion' and 'Slazenger' have picked up deserved praise and all climbed high in the Beatport charts. Fergie's third remix of King Unique (of 'Feniksas' on John Digweed's Bedrock label) has been one of the key tracks of the year so far. A second remix for James Lavelle's U.N.K.L.E. project will be released this year and will see Fergie return to Jame's Surrender All label, following up 2009's massive 'Trouble In Paradise' remix. Autumn 2010 will see the release of Fergie's debut album 'Dynamite & Lazerbeams' that promises to be something just a little bit special....
Fergie's ever growing 'Excentric Muzik' label has been the home for the majority of his original productions and a place where he's been able to fully put into place his unconventional ideas whether that be re-releasing tracks that for him were where it all began (Salt City Orchestra - The Book), commissioning 20 remixes for his 2009 'Rewired' project (including Slam, Umek, King Unique and Pig & Dan) or unearthing new talent and giving them the spotlight (Spektre, Alan Fitzpatrick, Reset Robot, Psycatron & Erphun have all remixed Fergie productions before going on to achieving success elsewhere).
'Rekluse', the Excentric Muzik off-shoot run by Fergie together with Henry Von has proved to be something special, focussing on a distinct European Techno sound and developing into something quite unique, leading Carl Cox to describe Rekluse as 'denitely one of my fav labels of the year'. 2010 will see the release of a third label from the Excentric camp, 'Tribal Rage' will focus on a slightly deeper, groovier tip.
With sets in no less than 25 different countries in 2009 (and gigs as far aeld as Japan, Mexico, Thailand, Russia, South Korea plus tours of South America and Australasia) Fergie continues to be one of the most in-demand DJs in the world. Regular haunts include the track title inspiring 'Exit Club' (Kaunas, Lithuania), 'Shine' and 'The Stiff Kitten' (Belfast, UK), Slam's monthly club night 'Pressure' (Glasgow, UK), 'Firey' (Nottingham, UK) where Fergie is the only guest DJ to have played in every single venue they have ever used, 'Crawdaddy' at 'The Tripod' (Dublin, Ireland) which hosted a summer Excentric party last year, as well as Circus (Liverpool, UK), Rex Club (Paris, France), Bahrein (Buenos Aires, Argentina), D-Edge (Sao Paulo, Brazil) and not forgetting the Miami Winter conference and Sonar festival.
But it all started in Northern Ireland where Robert Ferguson, as his passport dubs him, grew up. His rst day of secondary school would see him donning a Walkman instead of putting up with his teacher's voice, and for the next three years he would spend more time outside the headmaster's ofce than in the classroom. At the age of 13 he nally left the school system and embarked on the passion that had engulfed him, embracing music headlong and becoming a DJ. This was to become a mercurial move that would lead to international DJ status and a coveted show on Radio 1.
Growing up as part of the Northern Irish rave scene and being a witness to events such as the iconic Hellraiser raves at the Ulster Hall in Belfast, where he got his rst taste of international DJs such as Carl Cox and Pablo Gargano, conrmed the direction in which his music was to go. 'It was the harder edge of the music that really caught me, just the full on driving energy of it made the hairs on the back of my neck stand on edge.' (Fergie)
Tony De Vit later took Fergie under his wing, starting him on a journey that eventually led to his own slot on Radio 1 where he championed the sounds of the underground on mainstream radio, long before minimal techno became the 'du jour' genre for DJs. At only 21 he found himself presenting live shows from Skol Beats (Brazil), Love Parade (Berlin), Meganite (Ibiza), the Miami Winter Music Conference and not one to forget where he came from he brought his very rst live Radio 1 show back to Northern Ireland.
The show ran for 5 years and developed into a snapshot of what was going on in the underground electronic music scene. Guests included Richie Hawtin, Sven Vath, Dave Clarke and Phil Kieran (who both covered the show in Fergie's absence), Carl Cox and Jeff Mills, as well as providing a platform for many aspiring producers and DJs to show what they had to offer... the likes of Kev Gorman (Gigolo), Anderson Noise (Noise Music), Matt Tolfrey (Leftroom) and Dave Robertson (aka Reset Robot) all received some of their prominent initial exposure through Fergie's show.
A proven forward thinker, constantly developing and never standing still, the architect of an ever evolving sound by keeping one step ahead of the rest, he has never forgotten though that it's still just a rave. A place where people are trying to escape the realities of urban life each and every weekend, and is where he hopes to catch up with you very soon...
