Over the past 20 years, genevan duo SINNER DC has built a solid yet discreet reputation on the international electronic music scene. Their ethereal intergalactic yet catchy melodies, full on emotions and melancholy, became throughout the years the band's trademark. Co-published by the prestigious Museum of Ethnography of Geneva and swiss renowned Mental Groove Records, this first album entitled MEG/CDG inaugurates a new series of CDs devoted to contemporary compositions sourced from the monumental audio archives of the Museum (read below*). MEG / CDG's backbone contains music from Romania, Niger and southern United States, from the mid 30's to the early 50's that the genevan duo Sinner selected while browsing the museum database . MEG / CDG is a kaleidoscopic album and a scenic trip - the title of the album and the songs are of IATA airport codes and explores the limits of the panoramic vision of the duo through hypnotic landscapes and imaginary places. Sinner DC will next deliver a new album entitled "Maps" co writtent with Pete Kember, legendary founder of the influential late 80's psychedelic band Spacemen 3 and most recently producer for Panda Bear and Mgmt. The Museum of Ethnography of Geneva and Mental Groove have already planned the follow up with french Julien Perez (Dirty/Barclay) and canadian Jeremy Young (Sontag Shogun) Support: Pedro Winter, Nicolas Jaar, James Holden, Sonic Boom.

Natural Rhythm celebrates its 13th release with a super vinyl only techy , darker , monsterish ep from the italian super producer Giuseppe Cennamo who is wellknown for his releases on : Desolat , 8 bit , Leftroom or Monique Musique . His fans ranged from Loco Dice, Marco Carola , Luciano to the greatest one Mr.Carl Cox himself and his music is an open door to all people are truly loyal to the underground sound.

Sound and rhythm are effective means of individual's self-defence in face of chaotic steamroller of everyday life. Hiding in a familiar yet simultaneously hardly recognisable parallel space does not have to result from the need of escaping the world or nurturing one's ego. Too many times to mention, music appearing under Recognition imprint served as a peculiar type of a vehicle of survival and a tool for internal transformation. Hideland, new record by Polish electronic music producer Jacek Sienkiewicz is released precisely year after Drifting, which largely explored tropes of classical club techno sound. Eight (nine in extended CD version) tracks comprising this album go beyond easy-to-pigeonhole genres, creating a microcosm of utopian sound constructs. Surprisingly unobvious and precisely composed release could be fascinating both for loyal fans and for new listeners looking for threads of experimentalism. It's another intriguing proposal in Jacek Sienkiewicz's growing discography, but above all - a laboratory where dreams and artistic visions metamorphose into concrete reality.

The new album by Akiko Kiyama, consisting of 2 vinyl records, has become the long-awaited debut for Nervmusic Records, to at once fully demonstrate the musical philosophy and vector of the label. Deviation is
not just a random selection of tunes, but a whole theatre act, made of sound patterns and melodies, a fantastic journey into a subspace of inner images and memories. The story of 'Deviation' begins with 'My Day and Erasers Talk' a classical show for Akiko; with deep and enveloped base; ideally accurate percussions on the trippy background of strings covered with the fog of delays and reverbs. Straight after that appears 'Gabriel'
- a touching minimalistic allegory on tango with the shivering fans of shakers and the polyphonic accords of an invisible piano. The second record plate includes 'Nothing's Left Besides Iron And Chef' - a bouncing
construction of ragged rhythms and crunchy hi-hats. It is also an interpretation of the track 'You Are Pinocchio', which was released on Nervmusic Records previously with the single 'If I Had a Pair Shoes' powered by such remixers as Benjamin Fehr, AlkaRex, Laurine Frost and
Alexkid. 'Go For A Walk' concludes the first vinyl record. The genre classification of 'Der Wald Erzählt Geschichte' and 'Whereabouts', from the second vinyl, are not to be described. But if you have a strong desire
to do so, then you could consider it as a mixture of trip-rock and click'and'cuts. .

Idriss D's second installment in his Dib series on Memento comes with an original track backed by a remix from Spanish maestro Eduardo De La Calle. Titled Alger', it's a heartfelt dedication to the Algeria capital, a city that was a key factor in Idriss growing up and formative teenage years. The feeling and mood of his youth are the inspiration behind this superb piece of music, a diverse work touching on several levels of composition. The Original opens with a field recording intro followed shortly after by heavy bass shots and a pulsating kick drum. Snare patterns and an underwater synth melody hit the speakers with an abstract touch, while halfway through the pace changes with a new bass coming in. An experimental and brave track, it reflects Idriss' DJing style and his long sets, going into different mental spaces, a wavelike combination of beats and up&down rhythms. Eduardo De La Calle's trademark analog sounds fill his Tribute remix with acid keyboards, rim shot grooves, industrial noises and metallic vibes, swinging with a rolling bass line and bringing the original percussions to the fore.

New EP from Alka Rex with a remixes from Melchior Productions and Kamran Sadeghi.

Ibiza based Francisco Allendes makes a welcome return to Desolat for his next release, a fine EP that marks something of a new direction for the man across its four great tracks. First up, 2Agility Queen' is a raw bit of jacking house with clipped vocals offered up by Dance Mania's DJ DMC, bulky drums and classic cow bell tinkles all making for a sweaty and heavy house kicker . The rapped vocals that come in add plenty of flair to an already firing track. The brilliant Groundhog Day' is an off kilter, rave influenced tune with wordless voices, militant snare patterns and blasts of frazzled bass frequencies that cannot fail to energise any floor. On the flip, Flea Allergy' is another anxious cut of coarse hi hats, robotic and wordless vocals and slamming dreams that works you into a frenzy, then Aroa Leon' gets even more unhinged, lumpy and ghetto fried with its sleazy drums, jittery perc and kinetic sense of energy. This lively, arresting new EP is a fine new direction and sound for Francisco Allendes that never stays too far from the chunky Desolat blueprint we all know and love.

repress on stock ! After the release of their debut album earlier this year, the two Berlin-based producers André and Mirko also known as Channel X get their first full-on remix package on Stil vor Talent.

A key member of the Minus family for almost a decade, Jon Gaiser is to release False Light, his third artist album on Richie Hawtin's label in autumn 2014. The ten-track affair shows the American born, Berlin based techno innovator to have continued to evolve since his last full length and again is a very complete and contemporary techno tale. Since 2005, Gaiser has been at the heart of the minimal techno movement. His hugely atmospheric EPs and LPs have always explored the darker, more stripped back and abstract edges of the dancefloor and have often done so in conjunction with immersive and complimentary live visuals. Says Gaiser of his working methods: 'I've always been a big fan of analog gear, both old and new. I'm also a big fan of new digital technologies that create sounds that have never been heard before. I prefer to have the best of both analog and digital worlds working together, to make the most creatively flexible production environment as possible.' As well as working as VOID, Gaiser is also a revered live performer who creates immersive on-the-fly soundscapes using Ableton MIDI controllers and Maschine, and regularly performs at some of the world's best festivals and club nights, including Hawtin's own ENTER. nights at Space Ibiza. A trained percussionist and sometime punk rock drummer, around the age of 15 Gaiser discovered the underground techno scene in Detroit and 'was completely intrigued by the energy of the music' and so began collecting drum machines, synthesizers and FX units to build a studio in his teens. Before long he impressed techno innovator Richie Hawtin, was signed to Minus and soon began releasing on the seminal label.

Everything comes in its own time: a wordly wisdom that Marcus Henriksson and Sebastian Mullaert aka Minilogue take for granted. Since their foundation in the year 1997 they emerged to one of the most respected and hard to pigeonhole electronic music acts world-wide. And that not only because in each of their artistic expressions you can feel their effortless passion for what they do - whether live or magnetized on a medium. Also because they do not stick to any stylistic niche to mark their territory. House, techno, ambient, trance, and lately jazz are equal parts in their creations. The most effective bunched proof for their musical universalism was marked in 2008 with the release of their debut album 'Animals"' on Cocoon. Since then a string of Ep's on labels like Mule, Wagon Repair, Traum Schallplatten, and their own imprint Minilogue continued their story in sound in which everything is made out of the present moment. Also the jazz infused album 'Bring Out The Imps' that they recorded under the alias IMPS with two jazz musicians and a heartfelt collaboration album with the Japanese producer Kuniyuki entered their discography. And between all their work they constantly performed their intense improvised live shows all around the globe. Privatly they formed themself a life far beyond the big city lights, out in the Swedish woods in the north of Malmö. Here they live a life where the inner gets the outer and where their way of creating is far away from Zeitgeist zones in which musical trends pass by like seasons. In the past five years they met every now and then when it felt like hooking up in the studio, jammed on their equipment without a clear goal in mind and recorded each unique moment that was guided by the experience of the single day of l

Welcome back, Okain! After his digital label debut 'Some Of My Tools' and his praised collaboration with ONNO resulting in their conjunctional 'Triple O' EP Samuel Thalmann a.k.a. Okain is about to unleash four brand new tunes on his forthcoming Upon.You-single 'Coma". With the title track 'Coma' our French friend masterly crafts an enthrallingly bouncy mother of a tune walking the fine line between House and TechHouse, serving swirling Hi-NRG synth modulations and super ecstatic vocal bits for those who like to get into the groove. This track is prime time heaven for all clubbers out there. Following up is 'Karma", a tune again well-balanced between the House and TechHouse side of things but clearly focusing on the deeper end of the spectrum. Spatial effects and mellow, slightly dubbed out chords meet muscular drums, dreamy, balearic sample work as well as scenic string arrangements all serving perfectly for latenight sets and epic transitions between night and dawn. Opening the 'Silver Door' Okain's sonic journey leads him straight into the jackin' zone. A Chitown-reminiscing phonk, stripped down production and an almighty Acid-line are the weapons of choice to hype the crowd right before floating synths really mark the point when things are about to get intense. Timeless as timeless can get and a future classic for sure. Finally with 'Untitled Three' things are getting a little techy for a reason. Banging drums, razorblade hi-hats and woodwork percussions are setting the pace for the ultimate seduction brought to you by Yello'esque male vocal bits, more Chicago referring basslines and on point chords reverberating and bouncing off each other into spiralling eternity.

A new compilation called - The Fable Klangscheiben Records is proud to present its frst vinyl release of a brand newseries, a various artists compilation entitled - The Fable . While some tales startwith once upon a time , this one begins with the candid rhythms and guileless synergy of German duo Metaboman and Large M's Taverne Master'. Canadian minimal masterminds Akufen and Pheek each provide their own input: the former's weaving synth-driven jazzy storylines, the latter's a trip through fragmented instrumentals and a min-tech narrative. Klangscheiben label boss Demas shows his fangs with a brooding slow burner permeated by skin-crawling microsounds, a flow picked up by Montreal producerMagnanime's Psychomagic Master'. Ark's parable is awash with echoing vocal snippets and an addictive piano riff, melting into the strange sound of Tom Ellis, whose Shotgun' is at once stripped back and full of life. Tomas Jirku wraps up the release with One Monkey', a glitchy, eccentric minimal piece that is as unpredictable as you'd expect from the Vancouver producer. The moral of the story Listen and fnd out.
